Well the thing was McDonald’s kept the coffee insanely hot and despite all the small settlements they kept having to pay out - refused to do anything about it. That’s when the judge decided to hit them hard in the wallet to make them do something.

I want my coffee hot, nothing pisses me off more than getting cold coffee at a convenience store. I now test it before I leave and if it is anything less than just about boiling I complain and pour it down the drain.

There is hot and there is scalding. McDonald’s was doing scalding.

I'll put that coffee in a pressure cooker to ensure maximum temp and pressure. Let them drink from the spigot.
