Good for you, April. Your soon-to-be-ex-boss is a bully. Sounds like CBS is too.

This may be 1 of the most influential recordings we have heard yet because he isn't like most of the higher ups who just repeat the standard corporate BS and act like she's just a unhappy bimbo, he's taking it personally because he actually acknowledges shes right but is convinced all she accomplished was getting fired and cause the corporate heads to put even more heat on the people she worked with, essentially punish them for what she did in an attempt to silence anyone else who might be thinking these things, and you can bet they are going to have HR inform on anyone else who made similar complaints so they can then target those people before they go to Veritas.

Imo this guy is actually spot on and him calling her selfish was clearly him lashing out at her because he knows what the higher ups are going to do to all the people still working at the station.

Yes, at first I'm thinking this guy's such a dick. But you're right, he's upset cuz he's about to get punished.

I got my ass kicked at recess every day for weeks by a bully that sounded alot like this piece of shit. One day I said screw it and stood up and fought him. Guess what? He stopped bullying me. And he didn't bully anyone else either. Bravo April, fuck that guy! He'll get his and hopefully people like you will bring about some actual changes.

Playing possum is a devastating way to take someone out. She knew they were being recorded.

Saltyminer11 16 points ago +16 / -0

Exactly. She was letting him do the talking. She did nothing wrong. He is a scumbag commie and I hope he gets prosecuted for breaking federal kaw.

He presumed he was being recorded as well. You could tell he's part of the problem, getting in front of the "offline texts and emails". She done great, and he knows he's about to be famous.

Best way to hang 'em is to let 'em hang themselves

Let me mansplain this to you April- I don't have a lot of time here cuz my wife is scheduled to gang banged by most of the camera crew later and she makes me watch, but you really put me in a bad spot here. I mean what did you think was gonna happen? I'd let you come fuck my wife too?

Sounds like someone is pissed because they may be getting a mention on PV. This boss sounds like a real piece of shit.

This Chuck guy sounds like the majority of bosses out there. I always stood up for my people. My direct bosses stood up for me when I did. However, both of us knew that's where the standing up stopped. She's not the one that's selfish and truth be told, Chuck doesn't sound like the type of guy that has the balls to speak truth to power. He sounds like the kind of guy that would just follow orders and his opinion would be that of what was told to him rather than what his conscience would tell him.

These are standard emotional manipulation tactics.

All he did was try and make her feel ashamed and afraid.

People who are ashamed try to reconcile giving him the upper hand.

People who are afraid just comply.

It's the absolute worst way to deal with people, especially subordinates and is considered by many to be abusive.

Whistleblowers are protected, no worries! Unless, of course, the whistleblowing goes against MSM, democrats, or mega-corporations, then the whistleblower must pay dearly.

2
superwookee 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is know as emotional manipulation.

He's shaming her and threatening her to change her position.

This is as dishonest and evil as anything.

When he said "you really thought going on the air and saying something was going to change anything??" She should have said " Yes, if that wasn't what NEWS was supposed to accomplish then why would companies drop millions in ad revenue to keep us on the air to tell their lies for them.

3
superwookee 3 points ago +3 / -0

You think it will change anything?

Yes, or you wouldn't be calling me right now.

Chuck Davis is a whiny cunt. “You’re so selfish!”

Dude she just risked her career to stand up for her principles. That is the opposite of selfish.
