Unbelievable that the Communists are so bold. If ths doesn't wake people up, nothing will.

262
ShadowyMrBlank 262 points ago +262 / -0

They stole an election and got away with it in broad daylight; I'd feel pretty bold, too.

158
chinajoehasdementia 158 points ago +158 / -0

Technically, they stole it at 4am under the cover of darkness, while they arrested opposition observers and put cardboard over the windows. But, that explains why they're so desperate to enact laws to cement their ability to steal illegitimate seats of power.

42
shaven_llama 42 points ago +42 / -0

I know, that experience must have been nerve-racking for the perpetrators. Way too much stress, man.

If this bill passes, they can just chill and watch the fake returns come in on election night.

35
chinajoehasdementia 35 points ago +35 / -0

Yea, it was legitimate work to xerox so many millions of fake ballots. Which explains this bill. Democrats hate work, just like every other Socialist.

People still want to see the legal processes fail. Tyrants are short-sighted and short on time so of course they will be overly aggressive.

SquiggyMcPepe 110 points ago +111 / -1

This is our fight moment. They pass this then the only recourse is states leaving the union or civil war. There will never be a fair election or judicial process again here.

38
FinalFantasyNerd 38 points ago +55 / -17

There is never going to be another fair election or judicial process regardless.

26
chinajoehasdementia 26 points ago +28 / -2

That's assuming the people lose the fight against tyranny. We might be asleep, but we are very well armed.

23
FinalFantasyNerd 23 points ago +27 / -4

It doesn't really matter how well armed you are when nobody will do a thing about it, not even go vote in elections.

It's ridiculous given everything that the tyrants have done to us that conservatives have done literally nothing in retribution and the few people who defended themselves were singled out and destroyed.

11
figgle 11 points ago +11 / -0

We're kinda waiting in the audits at this point.

If those fail, it's war. I've said this time and time again. The audits are the hinge were all hanging on.

2
havemydata 2 points ago +3 / -1

The goal post will just be moved again after nothing is done with the information from the audits.

-3
FinalFantasyNerd -3 points ago +6 / -9

Nobody is going to do a thing

6
chinajoehasdementia 6 points ago +6 / -0

Sure it does. The tyrants want to do things that will make the normies want to kill them in cold blood and the people being armed is stopping them.

15
FinalFantasyNerd 15 points ago +16 / -1

That maybe was true at one point but it's not really true anymore.

What other liberties are there to take away? No free speech. No freedom of religion. No freedom of the press. No fair elections. No due process. There are daily unwarranted searches and seizures of your personal data by government oligarchs.

The only right that even remains a bit intact is the right to bear arms and they know that right is meaningless without a means to organize against them.

4
Llanos 4 points ago +4 / -0

Most people are cowards that talk a big deal. Even on here. Only 10-15% of people are willing to fight and of those most will only fight when people are actively raping their women and destroying their homes. It's beyond frustrating.

7
FinalFantasyNerd 7 points ago +7 / -0

Most people just aren't dumb enough to fight back all alone and become further victimized by the corrupt system.

2
Thywillbedone 2 points ago +2 / -0

Just because you won't doesn't mean others won't. I won't say that I will because for what we are talking about isn't something that is planned, it's more of a reaction/chain reaction when the opportunity presents itself.

What people may or may not realize is that there is no other place in the world to run to from evil/tyranny. America is the worlds last bastion for freedom. This is something that every American needs to understand, and that understanding will help Americans when the day does come where they have to choose to fight or bow down to the evil forces we face.

16
War_Hamster 16 points ago +17 / -1

Secession and/or civil war are not the only recourse.

State Nullification would kick in the moment this atrocity passes. DeSantis has already said as much and quite a few other states would be joining.

7
SquiggyMcPepe 7 points ago +8 / -1

That just paints a bigger target on those states if the current admin is willing to persecute them by any means necessary. Same with a convention of states if the current admin is willing to toss it all to the wind and use their weaponized agencies to persecute and imprison anyone considered a threat. Right now there are 450 jan 6th protestors in solitary confinement being abused for the simple charge of trespassing which isn't even a felony. No due process and even our own media is mostly silent on it. Tells you something yes?

12
War_Hamster 12 points ago +12 / -0

What action can Biden take against States legally nullifying unconstitutional laws? The answer is none, unless they give up all pretense of following the law and they know damn well that won't turn out well for them.

This is exactly the type of Constitutional Crisis we want, and it forces the real conversations to finally take place.

We're also going to see some positive action regarding the 1/6 protestors and on other fronts.

The one surefire way to lose this war is to secede, because then the military would be justified in martial law. Right now, we've still got numerous and legal options available to us.

5
SquiggyMcPepe 5 points ago +7 / -2

I think you underestimate what they will be willing to do to retain power. This isn't some spat between political parties this is a decades old entrenched organized crime system that has taken over. Do you really think they won't go all the way to open war to keep from being ousted and punished? Because that is their fate if Trump gets back in office and they know it. These are gangsters of the lowest sort and they would rather die than lose their power.

8
War_Hamster 8 points ago +9 / -1

No, I don't underestimate what they are willing to do. They've got everything to lose. I know exactly what we're fighting against.

I also don't overestimate what they are able to do. Look at how they are still forced to play within what remains of the rules. This is because they know they don't have a popular mandate and if they overstep too much or too quickly, the masses of sheep will turn against them.

The only way we lose is if the US military is justified in intervening on their behalf. The one sure way to have that happen is to give them the insurrection they are begging for.

So saying that the only way out of this is be shooting our way out or seceding is begging for the worst possible outcome.

There are peaceful means still available to us and we are pushing on many of those fronts. Let's not screw that up.

1
day221 1 point ago +3 / -2

You are being naive. They will label us terrorists, fascists, and a threat to democracy because they control all of mainstream media. They can do whatever they want, they will lie to justify it and what they say will become the truth.

4
War_Hamster 4 points ago +4 / -0

They are trying to do that today, but with limited effect. The truth is what the majority of the people say it is, not what the distrusted media says it is.

How are they going to enforce those totalitarian dictates? There will be pushback, just as there is pushback already. The harder they push, the greater the resistance, and the worse they will look in the eyes of the citizenry.

Despite unprecedented censorship, 52% of the population already believes the election was fraudulent. They do not have the mandate you're giving them credit for.

I suggest looking into the Constitutional Sheriff movement.

-4
mikepence123 -4 points ago +1 / -5

State nullification is a dubious legal theory, esp since Article 6 Section 2 states the following:

This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

The states can try to circumvent but if HR1 passes, we're sort of stuck with it. If a state tried to nullify, it would give Biden the impetus to invoke the Insurrection Act for open defiance of federal laws and arrest the governors or state legislatures that tried to defy it.

The only state level recourse would be an Article V Convention of States to stop it. Good luck getting 38 states to ratify anything relating to election security though.

That's why it's so important that Manchin & Sinema don't nuke the filibuster.

The states can try to circumvent but if HR1 passes, we're sort of stuck with it.

We're not stuck with it, it's blatantly unconstitutional. It would get challenged in court immediatly.

3
pray4peace4 3 points ago +3 / -0

And... the Constitution doesn't specifically give the federal government the right to run elections, but it does say ANYTHING not specifically granted to the feds become the states' rights. That means HR1 violates the Constitution.

2
War_Hamster 2 points ago +2 / -0

Correct conclusion. Here's the logic of the 20 State AG's who wrote to Congress questioning the Constitutionality of HR-1:

<<“Under both the Elections Clause of Article I of the Constitution and the Electors Clause of Article II, States have principal — and with presidential elections, exclusive — responsibility to safeguard the manner of holding elections. The Act would invert that constitutional structure, commandeer state resources, confuse and muddle elections procedures, and erode faith in our elections and systems of governance.”

It stated further, “the Act regulates ‘election for Federal office,’ defined to include ‘election for the office of President or Vice President.’ The Act therefore implicates the Electors Clause, which expressly affords ‘Each State’ the power to ‘appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct,’ the state’s allotment of presidential electors, and separately affords Congress only the more limited power to ‘determine the Time of chusing the Electors.’

“That exclusive division of power for setting the ‘manner’ and ‘time’ of choosing presidential electors differs markedly from the collocated powers of the Article I Elections Clause, which says that both States and Congress have the power to regulate the ‘time, place, and manner’ of congressional elections.”

“That distinction is not an accident of drafting,” the group maintained. “After extensive debate, the Constitution’s Framers deliberately excluded Congress from deciding how presidential electors would be chosen in order to avoid presidential dependence on Congress for position and authority.”>>

Thanks lol. I hope that, in the end, we're seccessful 😜

2
War_Hamster 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think a much more likely outcome is for a Convention of States to be called.

A situation like this is pretty much the definition of a Constitutional Crisis.

I am not a fan of going to the Federal courts to get relief from an overbearing Federal Government.

So, we need to get 34 States to decide having a convention is a preferable option to secession and civil war. I think that's an easy argument to make.

1
EndTheFedReserve 1 point ago +1 / -0

I read into the convention of the states, I just felt that if the wrong people were involved (such as the limitless amounts of bad actors), they would use a convention to push an even worse agenda, such as giving corrupted states even more power.

1
War_Hamster 1 point ago +1 / -0

The best defense against a "runaway convention" is the fact that it only takes 13 States to stop a bad idea. Somewhere around 32 States are solidly red.

But they had the same fears before the 2nd Constitutional Conference, and they came out of that with the Constitution.

15
BuyPepe 15 points ago +16 / -1

Us Americans are way to comfy for a “civil war”. Why not post memes on the internet and call it a meme war?

17
SquiggyMcPepe 17 points ago +17 / -0

Americans in commiefornia and other blue shithole areas are certainly not comfy. They are fighting mad. It's the red states where there is still relative calm and sanity where people are actually the most clueless about what is going on. If hr1 goes through then that will change rapidly.

Red states will refuse to abide by the law since it is unconstitutional

1
SquiggyMcPepe 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes but if they are willing to go this far how much farther will they go when red states refuse? You think they will just roll over and give up at this point? With many fed agencies still in their complete control like the irs and fbi and cia just how much damage could they do if they just started arresting everyone opposing them and then call out the military or guard or crazies waiting to commit mass shootings and bombings etc if there is resistance? We got a taste of what they were willing to do in 2020. That was just a taste. Pray for peace. Prepare for war.

3
The_Usurper 3 points ago +3 / -0

It would take the entire FBI to outnumber the police in most single states. If my Governor is threatened by the feds and he gives the order to start arresting federal agents I will work double time, for free.

1
SquiggyMcPepe 1 point ago +1 / -0

What if your police are too busy putting down the riots in the urban areas as the feds go on raids? You don't think they would plan plentiful false flag events to cover for it and keep the media and non corrupt law enforcement distracted?

17
Krat 17 points ago +17 / -0

And pulling out suitcases of ballots from underneath tables, after kicking all witnesses out while ON CAMERA, repeatedly scanning them and having data show that 45 minutes later Joe Biden magically had 90% counts in absurd magnitudes.

I haven't heard one single state-level politician repeat this very fact. If any of you are in here (and you should be) here's your Tweet for you: "The feds can pass anything they want in regard to elections. We will ignore it. Fact is the Constitution delegates control of how elections are run to the individual states and [enter your state here] will continue to run OUR elections how WE want."

If you prefer, hold a press conference using this same language, but please be sure to end it by giving double middle-fingers to the camera.

2022 is a challenging election for R's, but in 2024 there are 24 Dem seats up for grabs. Enough D's think long term that they're to going to risk this, especially given how likely it is that the House goes Red in 2022.

The biggest mistake Trump made was thinking he could negotiate with tyrants. They should have been rounded up and brought before a tribunal and sentenced for high treason. 15
USAcolyte 15 points ago +15 / -0

They've already declared open war multiple times over. This nonstop can kicking needs to stop.

3
SquiggyMcPepe 3 points ago +3 / -0

Which is why I said open war. Up to this point they have kept it hidden from the normies for the most part but if their hand is forced by states standing up for their rights what do you think they can do with weaponized fbi and cia and god knows how many crazies tucked away for mass shootings and assassinations? We haven't even reached peak 1960s yet and there is way more they will do.

5
preferredfault 5 points ago +5 / -0

That's assuming Democrats like Manchin vote against it. The vote to debate it was 50/50, with Kamala being the tie breaker. That pretty much guarantees that it will pass. Manchin is likely just playing a game to get more bribes, threatening the Democrats with it, while also giving the media a fake squabble to report on, because the media can't report on Biden negatively, and Trump is gone, so they need to manufacture something.

5
SquiggyMcPepe 5 points ago +5 / -0

They need 60 votes to pass. That is the filibuster. They can only do it with 50 and kamala if they remove the filibuster and if that happens its a declaration of open war on the states. No sane politician is going to do that but at this point I don't think we have very many sane ones left.

4
InarosPrime 4 points ago +4 / -0

They need 60 votes to pass. That is the filibuster.

They need 50 + Kamala to pass. The filibuster is what Republicans will do to stop the vote from happening. A filibuster literally wastes time by reading useless things on the floor of the House/Senate until one side gives up. They can remove the filibuster with 50 + 1 votes, and end our Republic in the process.

3
SquiggyMcPepe 3 points ago +3 / -0

Isn't that what I said? The filibuster is the option to require 60 votes to pass? Of course if those two D senators vote against then its a moot point. Better hope they have better sense than their compatriots.

2
InarosPrime 2 points ago +2 / -0

You're not using the term "filibuster" correctly. A filibuster is a delay tactic, usually used by the minority party. A cloture motion overrides a filibuster and fast-forwards the process to a vote on the bill if the cloture passes with 60 votes. That's where you're getting the 60 votes from.

If Schumer wanted, he could invoke a rule change to remove the filibuster. That rule change would only require a simple majority.

1
SquiggyMcPepe 1 point ago +1 / -0

I know the process. I'm just being brief in my descriptions. The entire point of the issue is if schumer drops the nuke. If he does then its a declaration of open war because they know it will start a firestorm. We can bicker over syntax but the end result is the same.

1
InarosPrime 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm hoping he does end the filibuster. Every tyrannical move the Dems make, the faster they push this train towards civil war. I would rather get this over with than prolong the suffering under Xiden's regime.

2
BostonVoter 2 points ago +2 / -0

If this passes, America is done. Period. There will never be a fair election in this country again and when people have no hope, you know what that produces. Patriots have been holding the line and still believing that our vote counts but if this passes there is no hope. This will lead to the demise of this country and everyone in Congress should know this.

No standing you POS Roberts, this is not what this country is about. If you want riots, these will the ones for the ages.

they stole a presidential election in broad daylight, with hundreds of sworn witnesses, cctv footage of hidden trunks of ballots, massive security holes in voting machine software proven and demonstrated, ignored subpoenas to testify, and destroyed chain of custody evidence. With ZERO repercussions or pushback from congress. Its been panicking time for a while.

Problem is it has like 75 severability clauses in it so it's booby trapped to fuck even if the SCOTUS tries to strike it down.

If the SCOTUS strikes down one portion, the rest of it stays until someone else sues for something else. You have to keep suing over and over like a game of whack-a-mole because of the severability clauses.

Dems plan is to:

  • Hold the vote
  • Let the vote get 50+ support in Senate
  • Get vote blocked by GOP Filibuster
  • Blame GOP (insert racist attacks here)

In other words, the Dem plan is the EXACT SAME, with or without this vote today

6
contribulation 6 points ago +6 / -0

Unlike the weak-kneed GOPe and RINOs the dems actually hold their opponents feet to the fire.

28
MerlynTrump 28 points ago +28 / -0

If they move on the filibuster, R's should deny quorum.

8
Picnochetwasahero 8 points ago +8 / -0

Thats exactly what would happen. One thing is sure, even the RINOs wont cede their power willingly. This guarantees a one party rule. At least until the GOP gets their cheating game in order , which will take them quite a while. They are just using this to shield most opposed democrats by pining the blame on Manchin and Sinema. Get the vote out of the way cry about the hold out and save face in front of their radical base.

27
EmTae 27 points ago +27 / -0

HR-1 is unconstitutional and the States can tell the fed go fuck off.

22
GreatFunana 22 points ago +24 / -2

HR1 will not pass. Hell, it won't get passed cloture.

Neither will the removal of the filibuster.

Gonna go hypothetical on you everybody here. Imagine its November 2020. You're a swamp creature, and you know now Trump is going to win his second term in a landslide along with the Senate and most likely the house as well. The Super Majority if you will. Trump, without fear of losing a re-election, would proceed to demolish any standing opposition in the FBI, DOJ, CIA, and everywhere. More voting reform would come down the pipe, and you'd lose your phony-baloney jobs, if not end up in jail.

The woke tide, the social reforms, and the government control you'd been working on since the 60's would be set back another 50-60 years. This CANNOT happen.

The question is this: what choice do you have?

What do you do? You attempt the most ham-fisted voting theft in history, the theft of the presidency, and multiple house/senate seats. You are desperate, as you really have no choice. And it works. You win (cough)! The next step is to return things to normal, the new normal, forcing jabs and making people fall in line with the new world order, the great reset.

However... the minions you sent out are so stupid, and the means you used to steal the election was so badly planned and sloppily executed that there is tons of evidence laying around. While you may have stolen the election, your goal of returning things to the (new) normal falls flat on its face as there is tons of resistance. People, as a result, simply are not accepting that Biden won election. One of the states that would NEVER have voted for Biden draws a line in the sand and forces an audit of the votes. Rumblings from the audit are so bad that it is clear this election was blatantly stolen. The state has made it crystal clear they will act on the results as well (whatever that may entail). There is even an emergency meeting in that state be discus legal rights.

You and your swamp buddies never rested well. Now you are panicking. The release of the audit is days away.

Again the question is: what choice do you have?

HR1 is a mess. However there is little chance it will get the votes to end the filibuster. Hell, the bill to end the filibuster will probably die with, you guessed it, a filibuster. Your only hope is that there is a bend in scheduling, or some sort of mishandling of procedure to end the debate and allow the vote. It won't happen though.

What you must understand, the filibuster is meant to be described as the nuclear option. It isn't designed to stop the voting of a bill. Its designed to get the two parties together and discuss changes to a bill so it won't die on the floor. The irony of the situation is lost on these people. They are unwilling to bend as they have too much at stake, but the very thing that keeps them from not bending is going to make them snap.

These people are desperate. They are betting on a procedure mishap to get them to pass their bullshit so they can keep their phony-baloney jobs. It won't happen. Even if it did pass, it would be sued to oblivion, and face the supreme court where it would pretty much be instantly marked unconstitutional. If you haven't noticed, the Supreme Court hasn't been ruling in favor of liberal policy lately.

They need this to pass now, to make audits the pointless. It is the very definition of desperation. Have faith frens, trust the plan.

5
VarusSPQR 5 points ago +5 / -0

If they kill the filibuster they’ll stack the supreme court

3
NotAHandshake 3 points ago +3 / -0

Decent take. I don't see how a "procedure mishap" won't occur though. By precedent, all it takes to kill all procedure is a leaky pipe in the bathroom.

1

Let’s get this fucking party started. I want a fucking purge.

Rehabilitation in this case means no food water or shelter. Communists are stripped completely naked and deposited into the desert. There's basically no chance for escape.

20
maga_mama_757 20 points ago +20 / -0

She has defended the filibuster on numerous occasions, pointing out that the democrats used it plenty in the past. To my knowledge her stance on it hasn't changed, while Manchin's view on it - despite his staunch promise to defend it - has been watered down to a 55 'compromise.'

3
Ilanna 3 points ago +3 / -0

Articles on this are coming out. This vote is not to pass. It's supposedly only to move it into discussion phase. Manchin agreed to vote for that, and Schumer agreed that Manchins proposed changes will be first up for discussion. They include things like ending gerrymandering, 15 days for early voting, limiting absentee voting, and possibly voter ID. Better, but still shit.

Manchin has reaffirmed that he will NOT vote to pass the bill as is. Everyone calm down, just a little.

1
FireannDireach 1 point ago +1 / -0

Manchin is either a liar, or a complete dumbass if he believes what he wants changed will get changed. Or both.

Better to kill it here, for now.

1
Ilanna 1 point ago +1 / -0

I agree, I sincerely doubt he'll get his changes. I hope it dies now, but im not panicking yet.

2
FireannDireach 2 points ago +2 / -0

It ain't over. They need this for the global agenda. They'll keep trying, which is why it's crucial that we get more seats in '22 and '24, even with the sham that they're running in DC.

And, this is a kick right in Nancy's booze stained teeth. She was the one who created this horrific bill, and pushed it. Gonna be a two bottle night in the Pelosi mansion tonight!

But I'm very relieved, for the moment. This was an important win for us, even though the mods didn't think it was worth highlighting.

The constitution specifically prohibits this bill. If they somehow manage to pass it, the SCOTUS MUST strike it down.

5
42rle 5 points ago +5 / -0

No standing

5
FireannDireach 5 points ago +5 / -0

If you still have any faith in the SCOTUS, I'm honestly surprised. I had that blindfold ripped off a while ago.

My fear is that the Dems know they can thumb their noses at the Constitution now - which they pretty have much been doing.

We're not a republic anymore. I truly believe that. We're a banana republic, where 'rules" are whatever they decide they are, hour to hour, issue to issue. I think both parties are trying hard to maintain an illusion that we're still under the rule of law, but I think behind closed doors, they don't have a single regard for right, wrong, or the Constitution.

I want to be wrong, but like the White House, our "republic" has been a sham since January 6th. They're pretending the world that existed politically before that day is still the reality, because don't upset the herd, they have to slink globalism closer to the herd slowly so as not to spook them.

This amounts to a change in the constitution. Which is a HEAVY burden to pass. They can't just change election laws at the federal level when the powers are not theirs to regulation/write.

Now this has never stopped them before, and expecting SCOTUS to do anything is pointless. However, This is a very clear cut case of overreach. Any logical person can look around the world and see that we'd be the ONLY country in the industrialized world to implement these policies. Cannot possibly make sense for any other reason but to intentional promote fraud and the one thing that leftists have hated for years... the U.S. being a beacon of freedom, a country where election "still mean something".

I watched an Adam Curtis documentary recently which outlines what is happening incredibly well and incredibly convincingly.

Basically, he argues that in modern societies people are so individuated that they will basically never come to together at the expense of their own lives, and therefore, the old ways of political economy are over.

The politicians know this. They know that people have no power anymore, and that banks, and the private sector has all of it. So they enact legislation that benefits them, and outsource most of Government operations to them.

6
RedWhiteBlue15 6 points ago +6 / -0

Pretty much. No one has stepped up to help the Patriots stuck in jail for Jan 6th. We don't stand up for our own when It really counts. Owning a bunch of guns isn't going to matter if you sit at home till the very end.

I just don't see anything that would get people moving until it's already at their doorstep.

4
phuckles 4 points ago +4 / -0

It's not very different from a bank robbery. The people being held up easily have the numbers to overpower the robbers. But because nobody wants to be the one shot in the face, everybody complies.
