I love the NIV, easy to understand and the language is beautiful, especially Psalms and Proverbs

King James Original or the Amplified Bible, NIV is a terrible version removes God' diety.

NKJV - Updates the KJV with more common English and also incorporates more scripts. My favorite. Have a new one being delivered today. Great Bible.

HCSB study bible has everything. Great translation plus maps, cross references, vocabulary, & textual notations. Heavy as a result though. Must be able to lift 30 lbs :)

KJV for me. It left the mystical language in, and was honest enough to italicize words the translators added.

NOT TO BE TAKEN LITERALLY, THOUGH, FRENS.
