Heading to Broward County. Will get involved locally, will help push it into RED.

I'm from Broward too. Not going to lie, this is one of the worst counties in the state but it's good we are getting some reinforcements.

41
Tenspot20 41 points ago +41 / -0

I'm here too, there are some nice areas still left. Try to stay east of Federal! And watch out for iguanas! They will freakin' bite you!

"Welcome to paradise! I'll never leave!"

Oh and that strange squawking noise that you keep hearing. Those are Wild Orange Parrots flying over.

26
MerlynTrump 26 points ago +26 / -0

Orange parrot bad!

4
RegularAmerican 4 points ago +5 / -1

You should catch some of those iguanas and put them on the grill. Southern California has also had an invasive parrot problem there would be dozens of them invading the fruit trees.

5
yeldarb1983 5 points ago +5 / -0

Stupid question: If the iguanas and the parrots are invasive anyway, why not live capture and sell them to breeders/pet stores?

6
Friend_of_John_Galt 6 points ago +6 / -0

They'll just get released again, a lot of the invasives were pets.

1
yeldarb1983 1 point ago +1 / -0

True, but that's not your fault, lol.

2
Friend_of_John_Galt 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, but if it were up to me there also wouldn't be lionfish, pythons, and those weird meaty lizards with the curly tails all over the place.

2
RegularAmerican 2 points ago +2 / -0

People do. We actually had some poachers take some babies that we knew were in a nest on my neighbors property. He's this old black dude who reminds me of Red Fox from TV you know that show Sanford and Son. Anyways they almost got shot by him it was 4 am and some Hispanic guys were climbing his tree. I felt really bad because the parrots knew their babies got swiped and were hanging around pissed off at us you could feel their pain those birds are smart.

2
yeldarb1983 2 points ago +2 / -0

Poor things.

Parrots are among some of the smartest birds in the world. The only ones, to my knowledge, who rival them in intelligence are Corvids (crows, ravens, mockingbirds, etc.). In fact, supposedly a crow can learn to talk if you split their tongue.

2
RegularAmerican 2 points ago +2 / -0

I really admire how faithful and monogamous most of these birds are. Sometimes they even cheat and if they get caught they split up. Kinda like humans used to.

You just moved from Massachusetts to Massachusetts. Hope you are genuine about your intentions and don't fuck up my state. The county you picked is hands down the worst county in FL for leftist political corruption.

Good luck!

Im in Broward. It’s redder than most think. Ballot harvesting is the Major Problem, and corrupt school board, DA and mayor.

11

The main problem in Broward is Brenda Snipes

DeSantis replaced her w a based former AG after Broward got caught trying to steal the Governor election in 2018.

She should be in prison though

6

Washerman Schultzis here. Need to get her booted out.

4

Wow what a warm welcome. We are all on the same team. I don't believe in running myself and won't move until this is over but damn. Most of the time it isnt even the peoples fault the state gets like that because in these blue areas, votes dont even matter.

19
Ugh3rdaccount 19 points ago +19 / -0

If I was living in a red state and I saw the current blue communist license plates I have roll up into my neighborhood I’d be pretty fucking skeptical.

And anyone in a red state has good god damn reason to be.

These blue state motherfuckers need to be nuked from orbit. They ruin everything.

Until a blue-state immigrant can get his/her plates changed, a couple of MAGA bumper stickers should keep the doubters at bay.

USMC_Capt 2 points ago +2 / -0

1
Sheeplearentpeople78 1 point ago +1 / -0

Has a lot more to do with city vs rural rather than what state you are from.

12
The_Usurper 12 points ago +13 / -1

Everyone on PDW: “you need to move out of the cities and commie states”

Also everyone on PDW: “stop invading our red states from your blue states!”

3
fullycensored1 3 points ago +4 / -1

There are lots of ignorant people on the right too don't let it get to you. These people literally have massive proof of voter fraud on one hand yet on the other hand they criticize trump supporters from blue states even though logically they know those states probably have massive fraud that keeps the left in power there. As trump said, we love the poorly educated, they may be a bit slow but we still love them as long as they're on our side even if they are haters sometimes. I'm from a blue state myself originally and I've been through more bullshit than anyone in a red state can probably fathom, picking fights with us is not a good plan for victory

1
iSignedUpForThis 1 point ago +1 / -0

Then why stay in a blue area??????

3
fullycensored1 3 points ago +3 / -0

People can't always just pull up their lives at a moment's notice, what is your one point? Are you going to personally help fund the move of every trump supporter living in blue states?

1
iSignedUpForThis 1 point ago +1 / -0

Are you serious? That's your argument? Because I won't, or can't, pay for others to move I can't question the motive of someone saying they won't move despite hating where they are??

That's your best?

1
fullycensored1 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm saying there are people who can't afford to move stuck in these areas or maybe they have an old relative who is stubborn and won't move and they need to take care of them, things like this. Not everyone can just up and move, many do but not everyone can that's my point. For anyone who is a single parent also they can't just take their kid and move out of state without going through a process

1
iSignedUpForThis 1 point ago +1 / -0

You're missing the point again. I was specifically asking the other poster why they would stay in a state they hate and believe is fully corrupt.

Coming up with a million + 1 practical reasons for why one or another person or family can't or won't move is irrelevant.

I think people (maybe yourself included?) were triggered by my comment because it makes them feel bad for not moving so they attack the messenger.

But beyond that, we should be a lot more ready to go through hardship if we're going to see a change. We can't keep pacifying ourselves with excuses.

Our ancestors experienced incredible hardship and he we are complaining about being uncomfortable for a little while. Notice I said "we".

Bigbadchows 26 points ago +26 / -0

I hope you come to Tampa, we need reinforcements.

6
N7fury 6 points ago +7 / -1

I'm looking at a good paying job in Tampa area. Is it far left? I know with cities it is kind of a given but some are better than others. I am heavily considering moving to there or Sarasota. I do love the country, but, nfortunately, most of the good paying jobs are in cities.

12
Julius_Severus 12 points ago +12 / -0

Tampa City is pretty democrat but the Tampa Bay Metropolitan Area is fairly right leaning compared to many American metropolitan areas. You'll find plenty of Republicans in the suburbs, which are huge and sprawling.

I loved living in the Tampa area and only moved to be closer to my wife's parents so they can help babysit the kids. Where I lived I could be in the center of Tampa city with a 20 minute drive in one direction and surrounded by strawberry farms with a 20 minute drive in the opposite direction. It was the best of both worlds. For geographic reasons Tampa Bay is also less likely to take direct hits from hurricanes than most of the state. Also the Gulf is as warm as bath water in late summer.

3
N7fury 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is really great information. Thanks so much. If it winds up working out, I'll definitely be moving into the suburban areas and just commute in

3
Julius_Severus 3 points ago +3 / -0

I hope it works out for you!

2
sniffdeez 2 points ago +2 / -0

Check out the Pinellas County area. St. Pete is fairly blue, mostly downtown. But west of there, towards the coast gets more red. I personally would take St. Pete over Tampa.

1
N7fury 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm writing these counties down and will check them out. Thank you

3
DonaldismyNigga 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thanks for the info pede, good to know where I can avoid hurricanes, which were one of my concerns. I plan on moving to the suburbs between Orlando and Tampa from Los Angeles.

3
Southmaga 3 points ago +3 / -0

Orlando is pretty fucked up with big Democrats base of P.Ricans.

1
DonaldismyNigga 1 point ago +1 / -0

That really sucks, but I prefer that over black people trying to kill me for being MAGA. Too many criminals here.

3
Julius_Severus 3 points ago +3 / -0

Tampa is on the coast so it usually doesn't get the extreme heat that Orlando gets

2
DonaldismyNigga 2 points ago +2 / -0

So Cal heat waves already got me prepared, but getting away from it at Tampa doesn't sound too bad 👌

6
deplorablepepe4 6 points ago +6 / -0

Sorry man CA heatwaves are nothing like FL climate. Ive lived in both. FL humidity can be a deal breaker for a lot of ppl. Only 90° out but with 95% humidity youll be sweating before you make it from front door to your car. Ill take that 110° hairdryer desert heat anyday....oh yeah and we have bugs here lots of bitey bugs.

2
DonaldismyNigga 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sounds tough but I'll adapt. Humid is no issue for me, & it's more ideal for my parrots. But the mosquitoes...yikes!

For coastal cities, Jacksonville is pretty safe due to the concave shape of the coastline there. It gets strafed from time to time but direct hits are rare.

Safest is high ground (by Florida standards) well inland. But inland is hotter.

6
Bigbadchows 6 points ago +6 / -0

Sarasota is really good much more conservative. Tampa is very nice in the NW Wesley Chapel, Citrus Park. Tampa proper is pretty left wing, lot of hood. But you can wear a Trump shirt or hat and never have anyone look at you funny. Been here 20 ish years, it has treated my family good. Only regret is not moving closer to the coast.

4
RavangardMS 4 points ago +4 / -0

Original Florida cracker here. Grew up in Wesley Chapel near Lexington Oaks. Pretty nice area though way too many people these days. Lived in New Tampa for a while but too many retards. Ended up moving to Hernando about 3 years ago to be closer to family and it's MUCH better. Tons of Trump Won and Fuck Biden flags.

2
N7fury 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thanks, great info. I just did the drive time from Sarasota and thought it was a little closer than 60 miles but man it looks like a really nice place. I imagine anywhere outside the city is probably a safe bet and can just commute in.

2
ILoveSilk 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hillsborough County is left. Pasco County is left. I don't know there was election fraud or not, a lot of counties I checked all turned from red to blue in 2020. Very sad.

St. Johns county in Jax is red. But I figure southern counties need more patriots and conservatives.

1
N7fury 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm writing these counties down and will check them out. Thank you

1
ILoveSilk 1 point ago +1 / -0

It is blue. The suburb, Riverview, was supposed to be red. Unfortunately, in 2020, it became blue. As a matter of fact, though Trump won Florida, most counties saw the percentage difference voting him and Dementia Bidden was smaller than Trump vs. Hilary in 2016. In 2020, the voters voting for third party were significantly historically fewer than any other year.

7
thisisatestof2 7 points ago +7 / -0

Liberals are not rational. They hate DeSantis became orange man bad and DeSantis supports orange man.

Then they find media narratives to support that and move back to a place where the Gov. caused tens of thousands of needless deaths by putting Covid positive patients in nursing homes, while Florida did the complete opposite. However, they will cherry pick certain stats, like higher number of cases or hospitalizations compared to cases per capita because the former fits their narrative.

Thankfully they are retiring early due to “pandemic stress” and don’t plan on teaching back in NY.

8
FarmerWithAPitchfork 8 points ago +8 / -0

We are considering a move from the People's Republic of New Jersey to South Carolina. NJ is just not worth fighting for at this point. My property taxes on 3.5 acres are over 10k. Thank God the farm acreage of 110 is farm assessed. School taxes went up 14% last year....$73 a clip.

7
Erikabodereka 7 points ago +7 / -0

Might I suggest Alabama or Tennessee? Beautiful, spacious, charming.

1
FarmerWithAPitchfork 1 point ago +1 / -0

I thought about TN, but need to research more. Heard it wasn't retiree friendly...I got time though haha

7
America_No_1 7 points ago +7 / -0

That's just insane. I know this is anecdotal, but I know of SO many people...people with major roots who you'd never think in a million years would leave their blue state, doing just that. I have family members in Illinois relocating to Florida and Tennessee to escape the high COL and have a break from the income taxes.

They miss home, but are intoxicated by their new lives of freed up cash and increase in quality of life. They have bigger, newer homes on bigger lots and are now able to enjoy vacations and being able to afford RVs and what not. None will ever be returning.

3
FarmerWithAPitchfork 3 points ago +3 / -0

West Central Florida on the Gulf Coast is just fine -- been here 40 years! Small towns, neighborly, near gulf waters and great fishing, scalloping, etc. Manatees and fine parks and pretty darn good LE. Growing, but still not citified like Tampa, Jax, etc. Just very livable.

Florida is so appealing, but it's just too fucking hot. I hate the heat. My wife goes to Florida a lot to run races at Universal or whatever in the fall/winter. She used to go to Disney but stopped because they became cucked, SJW, CRT faggots.

I'm ready to leave VA as soon as my youngest moves out in a year or two. Going to a state that is as free as it can be. Florida, Tenn, Miss, Montana, S. Dakota...don't really care. I'd rather mop floors for $15/hour in a free state than make 6 figures in some blue hellhole.

3
America_No_1 3 points ago +3 / -0

So I spend a ton of time in Florida for both work and pleasure.

IMO, Florida is amazing if you are retired or don't have to work. You can dress for the weather, stay inside in the A/C when it's too hot, spend the hot days in/near a pool.

If you're someone that works then the heat becomes really annoying for a portion of the year.

I think the ideal scenario is to save Florida for retirement and if you can pull it off - just do the snowbird thing and come and go as the seasons evolve.

BTW - why not just hop over to Tennessee? No income tax, good gun laws, low COL if you stay away from Nashville, etc.

2
ArriveViolently 2 points ago +2 / -0

Is Broward county as humid as is typical in Tennessee? I am in Arkansas and the humidity never fails to make me start looking at real estate in Idaho.

2
America_No_1 2 points ago +2 / -0

The SouthEast has oppressive heat and Florida is on another level at certain times of the year. And I don't blame anyone that wants to avoid it. Again - I think the ideal is to have two places you can bounce back and forth to.

I'd rather have two small/inexpensive residences in two different states than one big place in a single state, but that's just me.

If you want low humidity and don't mind the cold then sure - go for Idaho or Wyoming. If you want something a bit warmer than you're looking at Nevada (Reno, LV/Henderson), or Utah.

I don't claim to be an expert, but I've done tons of research for my retirement within the next 10 years so feel free to ask questions.

2
ArriveViolently 2 points ago +2 / -0

I seriously gave some thought to Utah, thinking "how liberal could it be? Mormons, right?" But then I talked to someone from SLC who explained the reality to me, and that is one of Utah turning blue faster than someone being sat on by Stacy Abrams.

1
PullMyFinger [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

The move is possible because I negotiated 100% work remote with my employer. My wife has been self employed for many years. We will be moving to a bigger home, work from home. No commuting, so should be fine. Florida we can afford, and the weather is more like we are used to from our past. We also have two cousins (one on each side) close by, with their families (which is why we chose Broward County). Really looking forward to it

1
America_No_1 1 point ago +1 / -0

Congrats - the only good thing to come out of this whole scamdemic is you (and many others including myself) are finally getting to work remotely in jobs that should have allowed it from the get go.

2
The_Usurper 2 points ago +2 / -0

Same here. I have been to Florida in May,not even technically summer, and I could barely even stand to be outside. The heat and humidity kills me.

2
XCorneliusX 2 points ago +2 / -0

I was in NoVa. 100% Trump. Saw the steal in VA. Was working federal until Covid and was not eligible to telework. Found a job that has reach all over and transferred to Florida. I drive about 45 mins to work in Tampa but there is no stop and go for me. Just a drive. One uses AC in summer anywhere so that is not new.

Somewhat near the coast is best, but not on the water. Orlando is hot as balls in summer as it is land locked. Today was about 92 at my home while it was triple digits in the NW States. Yeah. I'll take the 90s. Even with the humidity, the afternoon storms cool it off and when it stops it is cooler, but humid anyway.

The way I see it, it is like VA in summer just longer. Also, it is essentially tropical, so bugs are different. I do not live near enough to a lake and have no standing water to create mosquitoes so they are minimal for me.

With Elsa, Tampa and north tend to fare well from hurricanes anyway, so nature coast. Daytona is a party town largely on the Atlantic side, but is cooler from the Atlantic. Good food there too.

It goes to this, I was a liaison in the fed sphere. Okay pay. When laid off, I took a labor job and lost weight and got healthy again. Pay is about the same, but without State income tax. Sales tax is on par with NoVa. Houses are generally cheaper as are property taxes and you can do homestead after a year to halve those.

I am happy and that is what it boils down to. I love Virginia, but was priced out. The leftists made it that way.

3
XCorneliusX 3 points ago +3 / -0

Well, Florida does have high insurance. I have no accidents or tickets and no claims on house or car. Pay a lot more here. Still, that is offset greatly by other things that are lower.

Florida's State Boundary Redistricting Expansion Proposal

We believe that it's time for Florida to consider incorporating, adopting and including those lands of Coastal Georgia, Southern Alabama and Coastal Mississippi as our own absolute and uncontested Regional and State Bounded Legal Territories. We now know that those people living in these beautiful and scenic costal areas will not dispute this proposed Florida State Boundary "redistricting" campaign and those residents, occupants, businesses and land owners will enthusiastically embrace this new Florida State Boundary Relocation and Expansion Effort. This is a Florida Ongoing Redistricting Project, (FLORP) and other areas are likely to be included in therein. Visit FLORP.corn to include your area in this expanding project.

Yep, I grew up in that Coastal Gulf region outside of Florida, we vacationed in Destin, Santa Rosa Island, Pensacola. Beautiful areas! Sand Dunes.

Tampa and north rarely gets much more than rain. Even Elsa was just a large storm here. Daytona got rain.

That's awesome! Enjoy your new home!

I plan to leave NY for a red state.

Florida is definitely on the list of possibilities, although I'd prefer a bit less humid weather, and a few less liberal cities.

Florida is awesome though. It's got everything.

I'd say the best states entertainment wise are between Florida, Cali, and Texas.

Those three are huge and have tons to offer. Cali is corrupted by LA, San Fran, etc.

I like the idea of Oklahoma, because EVERY county is red, and pro Trump.

That's gotta be nice, and I want to also have 5+ acres, and bordering Texas would be cool.

Texas would be first choice, but their taxes keep going up, and cost of living is going through the roof.

Part of escaping NY is to get away from the insanely high taxes.

I wanted to buy the house I was renting, but the taxes are simply too high. I could have afforded the home. Taxes, I couldn't justify.

In Florida, one can homestead a house and halve the property taxes after 1 year and they are not terrible anyway compared.

Congrats pede. It is my dream when this is all over to move to either Florida, Texas or Arizona. Until then, I wont. I dont believe in running no matter how much I hate where I am at (bluest hellhole county in a so called 'blue state'). I will keep my feet planted and continue to fight here where I believe it is most effective. I can't blame you, I would love to live somewhere it is warmer and more red but moving there will not help the fight. We need more people to move to these blue areas and overwhelm the fraud so the true color can be shown. I hope not everyone decides to move and do what I am though but like I said, I dont blame you.

Damn! As bad as Massachusetts is, it’s nothing compared to Boston. Congrats on the move!

Go enjoy some freedom! My personal favorite? No yearly car inspection! I wish I still lived in Florida!

Get a Publix chicken from the deli and a key lime pie from the bakery. Burn your Red Sox gear and buy a Rays hat. Welcome to the best state in the Union.

One a forensic audit is done in Massachusetts I think you’ll see a red state.

Congrats fren. I’m assuming the most of you who are doing this will know how to vote. As a Floridian I am always fearful of the influx of people from “these states”

Damn I hate people who brag but I am glad for your good fortune fren. Just got back from Florida and living in a deep blue state it is night and day. What a based state, little to no crime, common sense, great people and governor, truly a paradise. Enjoy fren, you made the right decision but don't let the liberals invade the bloodline because they are flooding the state. Enjoy live in a freed state, Make America Like Florida Again!
