its important in the sense that some of the lawsuits against them are about Faucibook acting as a State actor -- that means they are acting under the orders or in collusion with of our government, (if I'm not mistaken) which means the liability protections they have NO LONGER APPLY

schiff_for_brains 20 points ago +20 / -0

Basically, the government cannot compel another party to do what it cannot do itself.

Leatherwood 19 points ago +19 / -0

They need to lose their Section 230 protection immediately. In fact, it should be retroactive to the time that they began colluding with the federal government, which would likely be all the way back to their inception.

BS2020 9 points ago +9 / -0

I agree -- I think this is going to be worse than most people understand simply by seeing the level of collusion, and lying, and manipulation -- its all the same play book from the 2008 Fed Created Recession, and once again, its all about money

We did, bipartison. Judge dismissed it

GaryJackson 9 points ago +9 / -0

Well. Fuck. Keep doing that and I'll throw some money their way. I was giving to them through the RNC but screw that now. I might just give my money straight to them.

P_Henrys_Brother 8 points ago +8 / -0

That's what I do. Nothing to the RNC. Never again. Totally pisses me off that they didn't give any of the money that they collected supposedly for fighting the stolen election and then gave none of it for that purpose. Don't like that they use Trump's name to fundraise either. Try to trick people into thinking it's coming from him. It is borderline fraud, maybe even over the line fraud.

Fraud: intentional perversion of truth in order to induce another to part with something of value

Yup, I think this qualifies.

FRENS 6 points ago +6 / -0

State run media.

Smurfection 5 points ago +5 / -0

Literally, a fascist state: A huge bureaucracy colluding with a huge corporation to directly silence citizens and advance a false but politically useful narrative. El Duce was hung and rightly so, for doing less than this.

P_Henrys_Brother 4 points ago +4 / -0

Damn right he was. Some fascists need to swing from a rope. Gonna need a lot of rope.

This is why I give 💵 to Judicial Watch—

plaaaa 2 points ago +2 / -0

They get to control everything yet zero responsibility for their mistakes.

Amanda 2 points ago +2 / -0

Judicial Watch = Biblical

Cumberbuns 1 point ago +1 / -0

They admitted it publicly.

MrVegan 1 point ago +1 / -0

Oh yea, information so life saving you have to spend millions to convince people it’s true

CyberSolider33 0 points ago +7 / -7

Judicial Watch never produces any real results. All they do is tell us what we know, CDC sucks, they are political arm of DNC.

Honker1728 9 points ago +10 / -1

At least they get the receipts

cook_does 3 points ago +5 / -2

You’ve been cheated, here is your receipt. Thanks

CyberSolider33 -5 points ago +1 / -6

But they can never cash them in. So what good does that do?? Tom Fitton is probably very nice person, and I appreciate it, but really, what happened? Nothing. No prosecutions, no one liberal went to jail, didn't stop the steal, it was Hannity tick tock stuff.

Nanteen -4 points ago +1 / -5

I'm sure Tom has several very nice houses and cars with all the donations that judicial watch has been given.

CyberSolider33 0 points ago +3 / -3

Exactly. I am not knocking Tom, and yes, I donated to him too. Long run, 0 results. Just like Jay Skelow, or dare I say Sidney. I gave to all 3. Not mad, but calling it like it is.

War_Hamster 3 points ago +4 / -1

Didn't Judicial Watch pretty much keep Hillary from being elected?

CyberSolider33 -2 points ago +1 / -3

No.. rhe people did. Wikileaks did. Trump did. Not Tom Fitton. Had no idea who he was until AFTER Trump was elected. Then I got emails, asking for money & yea, I donated to them, and Jay Skelow.. no results. Tick tocked..

War_Hamster 3 points ago +4 / -1

I think you do them a disservice. JW has consistently been calling out fraud and waste in government from both sides for the entire decade+ I've been following their work.

CyberSolider33 -1 points ago +2 / -3

Okay, and has calling them out changed anything? No. If they would have been calling them out for over a decade, would the swamp be as swampy as it is? It shouldn't be. I am not blaming them for that, just don't see many real results.. not a bad thing. And not saying they should stop. I just know, personally, I won't be sending them a check. I wish them no ill feelings though.

War_Hamster 4 points ago +5 / -1

I think the pressure from groups like JW have pressured both the Left and the Right to be less dishonest than they would have otherwise been.

They've also woken up a ton of people to government corruption. This is incredibly valuable work.

We are, after all, in an information war.

But I'd rather you spend your money on ammo rather than DC orgs. I'm pretty sure you'll not be shooting at me.

CyberSolider33 2 points ago +2 / -0

Correct friend!

CyberSolider33 -2 points ago +1 / -3

I don't need to be told why, I know why, the system is corrupt. It will not change, has not change, so let's look at other constructive options.

WildRiot 0 points ago +3 / -3

Onviously. This is no shock and also not illegal. Fitton is grifting

Nanteen -1 points ago +1 / -2

Judicial watch always gets new information while requesting more money to find out something. How about I'll give money to them when they actually do something with the information they keep allegedly gaining

RuleoVicus 1 point ago +2 / -1

Hot damn you're dumb.

y_do_i_need_to_hide -1 points ago +1 / -2

Judicial Watch is one of places that makes us think something is happening, change my mind
