Also since when are elections federalized? Garland is such a pathetic checker chip. They have been trying to insert that guy anywhere in government forever because he's such a malleable tool.

I like that analogy. Gonna have to steal it

If all the states have their own laws and processes for elections (they do), who coordinated several different states to stop counting votes at the same time? Maybe they should look into that since that was probably at the federal level and something actually in their jurisdiction.

I keep seeing this shit, genuinely curious what "law" are they trying to say is violated anyway?

There is literally nothing. It’s 100% a scare tactic and Democrats are using it because everybody knows most “Republicans” are giant pussies.

I’m preetly sure the corrupt doj will make something up

They did. The DOJ sent a threatening letter on May 5th.

Here is an article about it:

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/05/interfere-see-big-problem-az-audit-director-ken-bennett-speaks-tgps-jordan-conradson-biden-doj-threatens-interfere-state-election-audit-video/

The letter came from the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ, and they claim jurisdiction on the grounds that the audit violates the civil rights of Arizona citizens, in particular, of minority citizens.

Their two dubious claims are:

  1. When the ballots were turned over to private auditors, the ballots left the custody of the state, thus violating the guarantee, to the citizens, to protect the integrity of the election.

  2. The audit somehow intimidates minority voters (that might be referring to the door-to-door verification of voter existence).

The fuck the constitution law apparently. Their behavior and threats make them look guilty as fuck.

9
LadyPedette 9 points ago +10 / -1

Screams guilty. They are panicking

12
SpiceMustFlow 12 points ago +12 / -0

I believe they aren’t saying which one on purpose. But the suggestions have been that the civil rights group is heading this up.

And if they were to pursue this it would supposedly be done under the law indicating you have to preserve ballots for 22 months.

Obviously hilarious as saving these for the purpose of an audit is obviously the point of the law.

But this DOJ just interprets the law however it finds convenient.

Thanks Obama.

If you audit the election, you can be charged with perjury, which is a federal crime.

That being said, if you breathe air, you can be charged with perjury. The FBI just charges people with perjury for fun. Instead, just say, "I don't recall. And I probably need some sleep. Let me talk to my lawyer, get a good nights rest and we can talk after."

This right here. Fuck around and find out

18
EagleOverTriumph 18 points ago +18 / -0

Didn't they do an audit in 2016 and found MORE votes for Trump that weren't counted? Just saying, the feds know what they did. They weren't calling for any of this nonsense when Hillary's turn wasn't given.

Some people, you just can't reach.

14
Rickshawrick 14 points ago +14 / -0

If you read the full letter, the usurpers actually list everything they have already done in the build up and during the 2020 election. It's only an issue now that the results are challenged.

lol 🤡🌎

Imagine thinking the Federal government can prohibit states from auditing their own elections.

6

They aren't above starting frivolous investigations utilizing secret FISA warrants. Hope the auditors are careful

DOJ under Trump when given evidence of voter fraud: The DOJ can't get involved, it's a state issue. DOJ under Biden when doing audits to prove voter fraud: All elections are Federally controlled, it's not a state issue.

Anna Khait. Sounds like Anarchy.

This is the same DOJ that dropped all investigations against the state governors who killed all those old people in the nursing homes, yeah the DOJ can go fuck themselves.

4
mainsoda 4 points ago +4 / -0

The DOJ is openly admitting that they know the election was stolen and they will fight anyone that tries to prove it.

Merrick Garland is trying to prevent the state of AZ from uncovering voter fraud. He is engaged in a conspiracy to obstruct justice

2
smart_bitcoin 2 points ago +2 / -0

DOJ must be drained. Everyone should be fired when DeSantis becomes President

2
NinjaFish 2 points ago +2 / -0

Spot on, The states are responsible for certifying their own elections, and auditing their results to ensure accuracy and integrity. The DOJ is way out of its swim lane and overstepping its authority.
