Stop calling him "weak" and "scared". That implies that he's actually on our side.

He's giving Democrats everything they want, because its also what he wants. He was one of the "Republicans" that fully supported the coup and wanted Trump gone.

He's a CORRUPT TRAITOR. Start calling him what he is.

Repeal the 17th Amendment. Make Senators be chosen by the state legislatures again. Our Founding Fathers set it up that way on purpose.

63
War_Hamster 63 points ago +65 / -2

How nice to wake up, click on a story, and the 3rd comment I read is this.

Put a smile on my face.

REPEAL THE 17TH indeed.

34
CoyoteTan 34 points ago +36 / -2

Yes please. Fuck Super Congress.

20
HockeyMom4Trump 20 points ago +21 / -1

Yes! Absolutely something to get behind.

12
resoluteAction 12 points ago +12 / -0

Do real Republicans control 2/3 of the states top to bottom?

2
deleted 2 points ago +3 / -1
1
resoluteAction 1 point ago +1 / -0

So new ammendments the uniparty doesn't support are a no go.

14
1776ThereIsaidIt 14 points ago +15 / -1

Republican legislators controlled election law in their respective states. They wouldn't do much better choosing U.S. senators.

11
PissJuggernaut 11 points ago +11 / -0

^ Reality

3
Vox_Dobad 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yes, but it's much easier to put pressure on your state legislature to recall a senator than it is to wait 6 years and hope to beat them at the polls

2
peltast 2 points ago +2 / -0

We could just add an amendment with a codicil to recall Senators.

3
ThomasJ 3 points ago +6 / -3

True. The whole system has to go

7
BillBelichick 7 points ago +7 / -0

When you say 'repeal the 17th', who are you talking to.

McConnell needs to go.

We knew this early on in Trump's presidency when he didn't stand up for our agenda. We knew this when he stood down as the electoral college voted. We knew this when he allowed Trump to be impeached twice.

Mitch McConnell is just looking out for Mitch McConnell. Just because he's allied with us once or twice does not mean he is on our side.

He is using us to further his own interests.

While he may vote for our mutual interests, he will not have our backs when it matters. He's shown us this. It's not speculation.

We need to get him out.

4
brutustyberius 4 points ago +5 / -1

Trump just put him in a spot where he has to act. The silence will be deafening and will continue to red pill.

4
4WhomTheBellsTroll 4 points ago +4 / -0

In third world country's what cocaine Mitch does with lobbyist is called bribery and blackmail.

2
peltast 2 points ago +2 / -0

No, let's be real. Trump has had 5 years to do this, and, this is his first move in this direction. It'll take more than Trump's 'advice' or 'bold statement' to get rid of McConnell.

What was this, today? A complaint. The Donald complaining about McConnell. That's gonna turn it around, I'll bet!

0
Canuck4Trump2020 0 points ago +1 / -1

I think President Trump went "easy" on McConnell because of the courts (nominations) and getting federal judges through, which really was McConnell most significant success....IF these circuit court judges actually turn out to take Constitution as backbone to rulings then it's a long term win ....I am questioning on the recommendations (appointments) given the track record of conservative judges including SCOTUS "conservatives" so far

McConnell is basically another Biden

14
jdog 14 points ago +15 / -1

This is completely true. Trump knows this. He has to say this stuff for normies to digest.

2
BillBelichick 2 points ago +8 / -6

THIS. DJT messaging is starting to wobble. I want to see him go full-guns on election fraud. If he starts blaming Mitch for losing AZ and GA, then that legitimizes the election. And if the election was legitimate, then honestly culpability is greater with DJT than little Mitch.

The more I think about it the more alarmed I am about this DJT statement.

8
DeJustice 8 points ago +9 / -1

My guess is you didn’t read the entire thing. He mentions the fraud. Reading not your strong suit, hmmm??

3
EdgeGuy 3 points ago +4 / -1

Read the full statement.

1
muricabanana 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not clear enough, contradictory. Would be better to keep the messaging tight and strong.

1
EdgeGuy 1 point ago +2 / -1

The statement contained no contradictions and was clear as a bell.

2
muricabanana 2 points ago +2 / -0

Not a hard contradiction, it’s just that his messaging is frequently painting Mitch like he’s a weak and bumbling moron who lost the elections through bad decision-making or policy or something, rather than highlighting the fact he is corrupt and complicit in election fraud.

0
EdgeGuy 0 points ago +1 / -1

Trump doesn't need to bring us around to reality but he's still working with normies to bring them around.

2

My calendar is totally disorganized. Is 8/12 the day DJT wears his Power Armor and floods the sewers of DC with the blood of RINOs and Pedophiles and Commies?

1
KarenLukasik 1 point ago +1 / -0

Lots happen that week. The AZ audits report, Mike L’s cyber symposium and is a rumor, but perhaps Durham’s report.

A lesson to be learned from the most successful man of our lifetime:

President Trump works with what he has, not what he wishes he had.

All his life, and especially this Presidency - the out-right and sneaky backstabbing opposition he faced during his Presidency (starting with Jeff Sessions), and what he accomplished in spite of it is astounding.

Energy independence, unbelievable employment for all, bringing back American manufacturing, forging our own steel and aluminum, renewal of our Military (traitors though they are), the Space Force, North Koria, Jerusalem, cowing China, the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), making NATO members pay their share, stopping the Democrat plan to destroy our suburbs by forcing slum housing into our neighborhoods, CLOSING THE SOUTHERN BORDER, Joy and Hope to the people with the renewal of the American dream, after years of the stinky Obama telling us America is over and all we have to look forward to is a service economy and a managed decline of the GREATIST IDEA TO EVERY FORM THE BASIS OF GOVERNMENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE HUMAN RACE.

5
info_warrior 5 points ago +6 / -1

A lesson learned too little too late.

3
EdgeGuy 3 points ago +4 / -1

And you missed the only important thing Trump accomplished. Everything you said could be destroyed by the next administration but the one thing that can't is the waking up of large swaths of Americans to the fact that the game is rigged. Both sides. McConnell is just confirmation of that. The globalists can't put these new awoken people back to sleep and Trump just made their plans much harder if not impossible to implement.

3
EdgeGuy 3 points ago +3 / -0

We're stuck with him for 5 years. Overtake the senate with MAGA and remove him from power positions there. It's the only way.

-6
Logan051361 -6 points ago +3 / -9

He didn't show his true colors until he got elected again.

21
UpTrump 21 points ago +22 / -1

Trump knew mitch was a bitch the whole 4 years while he blocked so many of Trump's proposed nominations. He's a big reason why so many of Trump's picks are absolute failures

Trump has said many times before that his greatest weakness is how trusting he is.

2
Wrapped 2 points ago +3 / -1

McConnell has been a bitch forever. When someone shows you their true colors, believe them. Any faith placed in him was misguided and the resulting disappointment was only predictable.

0
Logan051361 0 points ago +2 / -2

It was him or the Democrat. Plus he was always on Trump's side until after he got voted in.

4
War_Hamster 4 points ago +4 / -0

He may have publicly been on Trump's side on some public issues, but behind the scenes he was an obstructionist.

Remember The Wall?

Lol wut? Many of us that have been pro-freedom and pro-America long before Trump came around were well aware that Mitch McConnell was a deep state stooge. I remember arguing with people on here who thought Barr was "based", but many of us were well aware that Barr was 100% deep state.

Unfortunately, Trump didn't seem aware at all or is just too trusting. At least he was honest in the debate with Hillary when he said his biggest weakness was "I'm too trusting"

4

3

I h8 to tell you but a lot of Kentuckians think he's a necessary evil to protect them from more dangerous Democrats

2
spezisacuckold 2 points ago +3 / -1

Not how it works unfortunately.

1
Logan051361 1 point ago +2 / -1

Why? They voted him in?

6
spezisacuckold 6 points ago +6 / -0

On paper, yes. In reality? Not sure. That’s why every election should always be full forensic audited.

3
Logan051361 3 points ago +3 / -0

True

1
CoryInTheHouse1776 1 point ago +3 / -2

2
spezisacuckold 2 points ago +3 / -1

There’s no system in place for recalling Senators.

Democrats cheated the system in the Presidential election and other elections, but those systems were in place.

0
War_Hamster 0 points ago +3 / -3

Well, technically there is a system to recall Senators, it just involves a Convention of States and repeal of the 17th Amendment.

6
spezisacuckold 6 points ago +6 / -0

Fair, but that has less than a snowball’s chance in Hell of happening.

1
War_Hamster 1 point ago +4 / -3

There's more chance of it happening now than at any other time in our lives. Constitutional crises sometimes provide opportunities, and we're certainly facing those on a few fronts.

I'll be surprised if this isn't discussed quite a bit more before the year is out.

4
spezisacuckold 4 points ago +4 / -0

Forgive me for my skepticism when something that I would think would usually have a 0.0000000001% chance of happening now probably has a 0.0000000002% chance of happening.

He endorsed the shit out of Susan Wright and she lost. I want to have hope, but damn, getting tired of them always getting thier way and us being on the defensive. Fuck this. Make something happen. 2
DestroyerofCobwebs 2 points ago +2 / -0

Looks at the list of 18 Republican Senators who voted to advance the cash grab. Look at when each of them is up for re-election, then factor in retirements and cases like Murkowski who is almost certainly going to lose.

What you're left with is a picture of a party who isn't even attempting to represent the interests of their voters. It's a cynical play to fuck over Republican voters and minimize those same voters ability to retaliate.

2
DmMe 2 points ago +2 / -0

I agree with Trump's statement but I didn't need a statement repeating what I think... I'd prefer an action statement; here's what who is doing and here's how you could help. Or a solution statement with a new idea to chew. Meh.

2
Spawnlingman 2 points ago +2 / -0

He's not giving them everything they want. He's giving them what they want and echoing their words. He wants what they want. He is them. He's not weak, he's THEM. THEY. He's not us, he's not not fighting. He's fighting against US.

Wake up.

2
deleted 2 points ago +2 / -0

Arwyn3x 2 points ago +3 / -1

The behavior of Mitch McConnell that President Trump is describing is the Uni-Party playbook.

For example: When the Deep State demands amnesty for 50 million illegals.

The Democrats and their propaganda arm start the ball rolling shouting "Yes, and you're greedy, selfish bigots if you don't agree with us".

Republicans will get in front of the camera and say "No, no, a Thousand times NO, we'd rather die than say yes". Then have their staffers send out thousands of fundraising e-mails and go on tv to tell everyone they are going form a committee to get to the bottom of this.

And when they get back to Congress they'll help rig a roll-call vote to approve amnesty for 60 million hijackers.

2
Bane 2 points ago +2 / -0

I feel like this crap is so ingrained in the Republican Party that it’s MAGA folks that are rinos. From Bush to McCain to Romney, we really are the outsiders, and Republicans never were on the right side. It’s the reason I went Libertarian over a decade ago, not that they’re strong at anything either, but it was better than being associated with Bush.

1

So things just went back to normal when Joe and the Ho stole the election. The republican commies roll over for the democrat commies, and we get country ruining bills out of it. If Joe had won the election in a vote by the people then we would have to live with it until 2022, Joe cheated, with other commies, and he shouldn't be anywhere near the White House.
