Been wanting this position for awhile as it’s a substantial pay increase and will allow me to do what I enjoy. However, they are now requiring all employees —even remote ones—- be vaccinated by mid-November. Only offering religious or medical exemptions. The exception process requires approval and only a few get those.

How likely is it I can get an exemption? How does one obtain one successfully?

Had phone interview. Next round is next week. Recruiter sounded like id make a great fit. Very confident I’ll be getting an offer with my experience.

Not with that attitude.

They have to convince you that they are worth working for. If they are going to require vaccination, it isn't worth it.

Tell the recruiter that you are not interested anymore, and watch them scramble.
