PhD's!!!

"The largest decrease in hesitancy between January and May by education group was in those with a high school education or less.

Hesitancy held constant in the most educated group (those with a Ph.D.); BY MAY Ph.D.’s WERE THE MOST HESITANT GROUP."

  • From UPMC News website, an interesting factoid reported in a study conducted by researchers from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh.

maybe they're just intelligent

According to Emily Brunson, Associate Professor of Anthropology at Texas State University, the group most likely to purposefully choose to not vaccinate are highly educated. They have read the primary literature themselves and they’re correctly interpreting it. Sounds intelligent to me.

Source here. It's a delightfully disgusting little read but it does have that gem in it on page 27.

Hell, I found it hilarious that my co-workers were dumbfounded that I refused to vaxx because they saw me as “so intelligent” with my “multiple degrees.” It amazed me that they think people gifted by God with a level of intelligence and common sense are just monolithic pack followers. I mean, I didn’t need a Ph.D. to smell B.S. You can’t B.S. a B.S.‘er because I have a degree in B.S. (Bachelor of Science).

TuckerCarlsonsTie 3 points ago +3 / -0

I know this may seem dumb, but I’ve never viewed myself as smart. I view myself as pretty stupid until I feel I have learned enough about a subject to be knowledgeable. The degrees that I earned came through hard work and research on the subject matters required. Like the vaccines, I was ignorant, but what helped inform my skepticism on the shots was the Swine Flu shots from the 70s. From there, I worked to inform myself about rushed vaccines. Thus, to me, the absence of knowledge is an opportunity to learn.

It wasn’t a humblebrag lol, it was just an anecdotal matter of fact story that Midwits put people with more degrees on a pedestal and they shouldn’t. Just because I have been to college does not mean that I am smarter than the pipe fitter or the high-voltage linesman, it just means that I’ve had different avenues to exercise my level of intelligence. I’m just a S.T.E.M. guy that has cut a different path in this world, fren.

3
Granny [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

That's ok Tie, actually my whole post is a low key humblebrag! I always say, you've got to blow your own horn, coz nobody else will. We are reluctant I know, and really don't like to brag. but self promotion pretty much always pays off.

2
TuckerCarlsonsTie 2 points ago +2 / -0

He he he, spot on. I hate bragging, but there are ways you can respectfully tout your own work. I think the best way is being praiseworthy of others that helped you accomplish a task or project, or just be meek when you accomplish a task or project on your own.

3
Granny [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

I'm glad you understand that. In life, you will have adversaries who would be more than happy if your abilities and accomplishments go unrecognized. In your own subtle way, don't let that happen!!!

Everything goes better for all concerned, if you are getting the trust and respect that you have proven to be worthy of!!!

4
Good_Ole_Arky_Gal 4 points ago +4 / -0

People are lazy. I'm a high-school graduate.. I'm not getting the jab. I read the studies, I read the literature. I didn't watch TV. Also, never forget, the government does care about you and if they try to shove something down your throat this hard, it's not good. Good ideas don't have to be mandated

Thanks for the info. I know from the black people that live near me and they are not touching it (MSM hasn't said much about Tuskeegee but that sad episode in our history is etched in their DNA) and the Democrats won't push that demographic and probably let them get away with some loophole or fake vaccine cards but white people is the group they want to attack.

6
Smudgerator 6 points ago +6 / -0

Sure, Biden mentioned “the Tuskegee Airmen”, remember?

6
mathman 6 points ago +6 / -0

The really disgusting presumption by Biden wasn't the way he casually misnamed the syphilis experiment. It was the idiotic and racist way he suggested that all the airmen had syphilis. Theirs was a successful segregated unit during World War 2 that helped to elevate public perceptions of black courage and intelligence. They had nothing to do with an unethical study of untreated syphilis patients that started in 1932.

They really should rename the "vaccine" and call it a booster for covid, since we are getting more and more reports of people being sick past the 10 days or so they said it would last normally for people getting sick after being "fully" vaccinated.

TenaciousDT 7 points ago +7 / -0

6

This study was funded by Facebook and the CDC.

“What's concerning is there is a subset of the population that's got strong levels of hesitancy, as in refusal to take the vaccine, not potential concern about it, and the size of that group isn’t changing,” said Mejia.” [Me: Vaxx hesitancy among PhDs hasn’t changed at all. What do they know that the general public doesnt?]

Among the most recalcitrant, commonly cited reasons included not trusting the vaccine and not trusting the government, while less hesitant groups were more inclined to explain they were waiting to see if the vaccine is safe. The researchers believe that different approaches are necessary to address these concerns.

“In all the other levels of vaccine intent we saw change over time. The lack of change in prevalence of the ‘definitely not’ group implies those with strong feelings about the vaccine are not likely to change easily,” said King. “Thinking about how to reach that group and having messaging and incentives that that group will respond to is important.” [Me: This means that they are thinking about using force]. —————————————- Me: Vaccine Hesitant is a misnomer. A better term is Vaccine Informed. Among the V-Informed are a bunch of PhDs and Trump Supporters. The reason we don’t want your stinking vaccine is because you have lied to us for the past year-and-a-half and information/data/knowledge has gotten out despite your best efforts to suppress it. We know that Ivermectin stops covid dead. We know that you have tried to hide this info from us, and we know that if there are therapeutic protocols for covid then you cannot use EUA for your vaccines. We also know that you have and are currently doing everything in your power to suppress this information in order to keep us locked-down, destroy small business, destroy the middle class, destroy our freedoms, and destroy the Constitution. You are reduced to using threats and intimidation to retain your illegal hold on power.

We know that you will continue trying to break our will through the 2022 election and beyond, but it will not work. You have changed the rules for covid testing so as to not count the vaxxed among new covid cases, and we know that you are discontinuing your PCR tests on Dec 31 because of inaccuracy and unreliable results. THAT MEANS YOU PUT THIS COUNTRY, AND THE WORLD THROUGH HELL FOR NO REASON AT ALL DURING THE PAST YEAR-AND-A-HALF.

The dead vaxxed bodies and vaxx side effects are already mounting up. Everyday more and more people are becoming aware of the truth. Your time is up. You belong in jail if not worse.

I think a lot of above average IQ people are getting the shots because they are libtards. They are the kinds of people who think stuff like making shoplifting essentially legal is a good idea that's going to improve something. There's enough brainpower to think about abstract concepts but a complete disconnect with reality.

On the other hand, people with a Ph.D generally have high intelligence and conscientiousness. The latter results in self-discipline and an anchoring in reality and realistic thought.

I'm not sure how many of the low IQ people are hesitant to get the vaccine or just irresponsible. This is probably why they want to give it away free and go door to door and give little bonuses to appeal to these people.

There is however an issue of trust. A lot of the poor are non-whites, and they have a distrust in a mostly white government essentially because they are racist.. Libtards tend to be the most trusting of the system and are therefore rushing out to get whatever Big Pharma wants to put inside of people.

3
Ep1ctetus 3 points ago +3 / -0

Generally, COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy was higher among the young (ages 18-24), non-Asian people and less educated (high school diploma or less) adults, and those with Ph.D.s, with a history of a positive COVID-19 test, not worried about serious illness from COVID-19 and living in regions with greater support for Donald Trump in the 2020 election.

This is a very poorly worded sentence…

…and those with Ph.D.s, with a history of a positive COVID-19 test, not worried about serious illness from COVID-19 and living in regions with greater support for Donald Trump in the 2020 election.

I wonder if they did that on purpose to make it read as though the PhDs rejecting the woke poke were those who likely supported GEOTUS.

Also, why didn’t why check for Xiden support. Oh… probably for the same reason they didn’t capitalize the w in “white” when referring to those evil whiteys.
