I just overhead one cashier say to the other "We're going back to masks tomorrow". I don't know if it's just for the employee's or everyone, but given how corporations are in lockstep with the CDC I'm going to guess everyone.

I'm not doing it. If someone tells me to where a mask I will tell them to call the police and have me arrested for trespassing and continue shopping. The flash mobs of maskless shopping protestors needs to become legion. If they won't ring us up fill up the carts and abandon them.

I enjoy repeating "I can't understand you" over and over again until they pull their masks down.

I wore them at first just because I don't like to attract attention to myself, I got sick of it and starting doing what you mentioned. If someone said something to me I acted like they weren't even there; it works most of the time.

The only time something was said to me was while entering Target. She asked if I had a mask, I said yes while pointing to my purse and kept walking.

100% They are envious at the size of your balls while also scared and angry. A perfect emotional cocktail. Cheers, and drink up!

Most of the cops aren’t even wearing masks

I’ve heard some miscreants add B & J ice cream to their carts, then change their minds and put them back on the shelf (any old shelf, any place in the store) - near the back, out of sight

sordid_sloth [S] 5 points ago +5 / -0

You know workers at the stores don't want to go back to wearing mask either.

I won’t wear a mask, I made a concession 3x and wore a face shield. Other than being forced to comply to shop at a store I pay a membership fee, it wasn’t terrible.

The vax is delta, and it’s contagious because of shedding!

So it is just the employees. I have a feeling it's a matter of time before they go back to everyone. These corporations have been following whatever the CDC says. I hope I'm wrong.

Where I live( metro Atlanta) in the past few weeks a lot more people have been voluntarily wearing masks. These people are literally programmed to do what there told.

3
SHILL_DETECTOR 3 points ago +3 / -0

Its like people just stopped wearing them....who would start again

2
sordid_sloth [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

They've been successfully programmed. A month ago CNN and others were talking about everyone wearing masks again. Within a week I noticed more people wearing mask. Now it's significant more. Nobody mandated these people to do it either.

Complain to Publix managers because the masked staff triggering overwhelming fear and anxiety. You’re at a super market, not a sci-fi horror flick. I’ll do my part to complain, weekly.

Someone else mentioned on here that Publix was going back to masks but I think it’s just for workers.

I was in a bar in a very liberal college town the other night. Pulls my county to the left in every single election, and it had been commonplace to see morons walking around, outside and alone, with their muzzles on.

The other night though, there were hundreds of people everywhere, packed inside and out... not a mask in sight. There was even a fucking mosh pit.

One other tidbit -- everyone I observed at the bar was paying for their drinks with cash. Thought that was interesting.

Joey's gonna have a hell of a time even getting libtards to follow orders again.

I'm sure for a lot of people, it was just a fad.

I'm just refusing to give my business to any store that requires me to wear a mask to enter. Where I live, there are enough based and red-pilled people who won't do that shit or won't enforce it that it's not hard to find a business that won't say anything. I don't care if what I'm buying costs me more in those stores either. I'd rather spend more supporting a business that respects my liberty than save a few dollars at a big chain store that doesn't give a shit. And yes, I recognize that I'm fortunate enough to be in a position to sacrifice that extra money, no need to tell me that some folks can't.

2
sordid_sloth [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is the way when possible. Especially when it comes to things like supporting a local restaurant vs and chain restaurant that wants to muzzle you.

bangbus 3 points ago +3 / -0

Sorry, shitlord, but the science is sound. If you don’t wear a mask in the 12 feet from the door to your table you’re committing an act of genocide.

“I will tell them to call the police and have me arrested for trespassing”… be careful… trespassing has become worse than the civil war

As you shop for items to be abandoned, I'm pretty sure fresh raw meat is not allowed to be returned to the shelves.

1
sordid_sloth [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Solid advice; maybe throw some icecream in there too.

Walmart and Kroger already are and last I head, making everyone get a Vaxx

They are using threats, but they will back off those threats, watch and see, very predictable

It funny the closer to Atlanta the more masks you see. I live just north Atlanta and it's mixed. You go into the city there's a lot more people wearing them. Go out to Canton and nobodies wearing them. Too many yuppies downtown; I could never live there.

I am a capitalist. A free marketeer. But bullshit like this is why unions are needed for the workers. Maybe even temporary unions for a limited purpose.

Soundz likeits the store manager. The Publix near me isnt doing masks and hasnt done them for quite some time. Its optional for employees.

1
1DontTreadOnMe1 1 point ago +1 / -0

Why patronize a business that would rather see you dead than take your money? If a place requires masks just flash some cash at the cashier and laugh while you head to another store that doesn't require masks.

1
sordid_sloth [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

If we're talking ubiquitous masks mandates returning and grocery stores that just not feasible for most people. There's not any mom and pop grocery stores where I live. Some things I can and will do that( restaurants, for example).

How do you change store policy when the businesses are all in lockstep? Reverse lockstep...they’re passively aggressively forcing you to wear a mask, make it costly for them. If even 3 or 4/100 of their customers shop mask-less, are kicked out, and then leave their cart full of items behind it won’t be sustainable for them to maintain the mandate. If they have someone at the door to make sure you don’t get in without a mask, then either shop somewhere else, or...wear a mask, get most of your shopping done, and then take the mask off to check out. If they won’t check you out, they’ll get to restock dozens of items. If hundreds of people a day are doing this in a store then the mask mandates will have the reverse effect of demoralizing the employees. If employees are having to act like law enforcement by having confrontations dozens of times a day with maskless shoppers it’ll quickly take a toll on them. Yes, it wastes your time, but you would see changes within 3-4 weeks. Wear them down, let’s get in lockstep.

sordid_sloth [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

This is the way. I found an article and the mandates just for employees. https://www.wftv.com/news/florida/publix-announces-updated-covid-19-face-mask-policy-heres-who-it-impacts/ZMGDUUFWYBEBLAWTFNAMPCMLBE/

But I'm not going to be surprised if that doesn't change. IF it does what your suggesting has to be done. Someone here suggested putting meat in your cart because they cant restock it, I think icecream would be good too.
