Different connotation and implies a sort of 'junkie' status, uncleanliness, uncertainty, etc. I'll casually be like, "yea I just don't want to get needled yet, just still seems a little experimental for me at this time." It's subtle and doesn't work on some people, but seems to make people sorta second-guess their decision, or just kinda shiver at the thought lol

Or I'll be like, "Yea, I'm holding off for now, I know someone who got the needle twice and had a terrible reaction."

Or - "My one buddy, just hasn't been the same since the needle..."

I never use the words: vaccine, vaccinated, covid, jab, injection or mrna. Just... "needle"! lol

mwhah if they can play psychological games, so can I!

lol please do, I like to use "the needle" even when referring to both shots, it has a sorta ring of finality to it, like a death knell...
