It doesn't even need to be historically correct.

The Bible is full of wisdom, full of parables. When has a mere history book ever actually SAVED anyone? See, it's not about whether Moses was a real person, or if he actually parted the Red Sea, or if Jesus turned water into wine. It's really about what it all MEANS.

God's word requires no justification from the manmade institutions of academia to be true.

In fact, it's almost blasphemous to suggest that science ought to be necessary to prove His existence.

There's plenty of compelling historical information in the New Testament especially. I'm just making the case against the absolute literal interpretations of scripture.
