Even if that 2% is correct, how many people would have called had they been given a prescription and guidance from a doctor?

This is the real story.

That would make more sense and it’s great people are calling vs. using the internet...hopefully they were given proper instructions or a proper prescription.

It's probably journalists who called in pretending they took ivermectin so they could write these propoganda pieces.

Fake Journalists are the scum of the earth. Do no put anything past them. They are already pushing a lie that effective treatments do not work to shill for big pharma. They are more than willing to let people die.

Or people who call poison control to ask, "Is this poisonous?" Just because they're getting calls doesn't mean people are suffering negative effects, just calling and asking.

The 2% is interested citizens calling to ask if it’s safe, because they are denied a prescription and considering going to the black market I’m sure...

Yes.

Leftists on legal abortions: if you make them illegal, women just gonna do them anyway, and screw up and cause more damage!

Leftists on ivermectic: lol we making it hard for you to use it legally so you guys overdose and poop too much.

Great point and another example of leftist hypocrisy.

I wonder how many of the 2% were just paranoid they took the wrong dosage. I think it takes like 50 tubes to be fatal

minttea2 19 points ago +19 / -0

Or took the right dose and were paranoid. Or proudly told their parent, sibling, child, girlfriend, etc. that they took Ivermectin and that second Karen/cuck was the one who called poison control.

And a lot less than 50 tubes would likely kill you. A 50x dose would have a chance of doing that. So, if someone weighs 100lbs and takes 1250lb horse tubes, 4 tubes in one day could off the idiot (if the person did not vomit first).

Don't need a fatal dose to call poison control. How much will reliably cause nausea?

9
anotherthing 9 points ago +9 / -0

I'm no expert, but I would think that if you had parasites in your digestive tract, Ivermectin could cause nausea because it's killing something in your gut that you've gotten used to having.

9
merf 9 points ago +9 / -0

I strongly suspect this is what went down. Ivermectin will cause gut activity.

3
Reefay 3 points ago +4 / -1

I have it prescribed and took 1 dose. I had severe gut pain and diarrhea. I decided not to take any more doses and just save if I get sick.

3
merf 3 points ago +3 / -0

I experienced similar on my first full dose. Partial doses did nothing.

After the first full dose did whatever it did to my gut, followup doses did nothing. So I'd definitely advise people not to take their first full dose just before a vacation, trip to the swimming hole, wedding reception, etc.

Hell, I called poisons control here in Aussieland when I was an early teenager after a couple of my younger sisters broke a mercury thermometer and all the mercury vanished (straight into the carpet).

Learned a valuable chemistry lesson that day about dangerous chemicals and what counts as a dangerous level of exposure.

The second time I took it I forgot and started drinking tequila. I realized that one of the few ways you can fuck yourself with this stuff is by taking it with alcohol or taking it if you have liver problems. I didn't call Poison control but I was pretty paranoid for about 24 hours.

Most Americans can't do math. That's why people got away with stealing the election

4
QuantumReality 4 points ago +4 / -0

They got away with stealing the election because they knew nobody would so a goddamn thing to stop them.

I wonder what the numbers are, is a 2% only 4 calls. Just seems weird to use the percentage amount with out letting us know what that means.

7
Miracle_on_Ice 7 points ago +7 / -0

Agreed, would love to see the raw numbers. But I'm sure you've noticed that in a lot of "reporting" and pontificating about the coof—especially from those that are leftists that support the vaccines and stripping away the liberties of others—percentages seem to get tossed around a whole lot as opposed to raw numbers. Personally, I find it nearly impossible to get raw numbers unless if you dig for them.

A leftist rag may scream, "Cases are up 30% in Someplace, USA," for example, but what is the actual number? It probably isn't included in the article. When you find out it was 10 last week and now it is 13 this week... well, that really helps put things in a great deal of perspective... having precise information is grand, isn't it?

But as we know, the media does not want to give you information nor an accurate perspective. "Enemy of the people," as a wise man once said.

Remember about the 2% figure they didn’t mention —- those were all calls to confirm dosage, NOT report overdoses.

5
LostSailor 5 points ago +5 / -0

5% average is the calls to poison control for ingesting toothpaste.

11% average for ingesting cat food.

Even in the correction they tried to blame it on the state of Mississippi, not the idiot journalism major who doesn't understand math.

DeusVult2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

I doubt it was even 2%
