You're not wrong. I'm baffled that women would take ANYTHING when pregnant, "approved" or not, though. American pharmacy is profit driven, not health driven. Yes, corners are cut all the time and, in many cases, patients are given higher doses or even drugs they don't even need. They don't want us to get better. They want us on their pills daily. Drugs for this and that and those and that other thing. How're your kidneys holding up after cleaning all of that up? Here's a drug for that too, and another one to offset your aquired chemical dependance.

I grew up with my whole family popping pills. Like every week they would find themself with an almost seemingly imagined headache, or a stomach ache or whatever else. It got more and more frequent like they became addicted to the psychological relief of being medicated. My siblings had their tongues turn black because they were abusing peptobismol (don't know how to spell that and don't really care) and that in particular really put me off. I was lucky, I guess. After being given something I would conciously wait for something to happen. I never felt that the over the counter stuff actually worked and I became pretty disinterested in pills early on.

I've been anti-drug most of my life and avoid it whenever possible. This whole ordeal with the jab has really made me hate pharma. I think everyone, especially young women that intend to procreate, should avoid them too whether it's "safe" or not whenever possible. That goes for supplements too. Everyone on those should do their research. Supplements often don't work as intended and include other shit you didn't ask for. Supplemental tumeric is a good example to start reading on. Eat right and you generally shouldn't need them anyway. I think the most important thing to remember is: you don't know what or how much you don't know.

Sadly the modern women is failing in some pretty heavy categories- failing to breast feed, failing to avoid drug/alcohol consumption during gestation while statistically alienating kids from their fathers..

Our kids are getting exposure to sex and drugs much sooner as a result…science is dead just like “chivalry”….

Getting pregnant out of wedlock, treating their bodies like cum dumpsters, neglecting their children (if they don’t outright abort them). All kinds of single moms out clubbing with their small kids at home. So empowering.

based_trekkie 19 points ago +21 / -2

If men could carry children...

Is what feminists always whine about wanting...

I think a LOT of men would make better "mothers" than the cum bucket she-elfish monsters out there screwing night and day.

If men could carry children, women's sexual market place value would drop like the stock market 1929 crash and these women would be BEGGING to be "Domestic Housewife".

Either that or it would be time to invest stock in cat food companies.

Possibly but I don’t think I’d want to impregnate a man 😂

Or have one impregnate me for that matter.

I don't want to carry. We need artificial wombs. I think "scientists" have been intentionally setting back that technology because abortionists are scared of it. Once you can transfer the embryo to another womb there's no "my body my choice" argument to be made.

For the married ones, good women NEED their husband's support and guidance on this. Being pregnant is not easy and is the most significant experience of a woman's life. Truly special. Fathers must encourage women through it. It is his baby too. Don't let them get suckered by promises of an easier pregnancy or "healthier" outcome...do a ton of research. God designed the pregnancy process beautifully. Ina May Gaskin is a great resource. Also, this book has little known history around pregnancy and birth.

MySidesGoUp 4 points ago +4 / -0

I believe the unmarried need that same support. This is the same society that lets YouTube raise their kids. Where mothers are rewarded with disability checks for pumping their kids with adderall.

I’d also warn any man looking to marry if he already has kids with a woman.

I was anemic during pregnancy. I ate liver. Problem solved by the next checkup. It's really not rocket science.

6
Sky_RPL 6 points ago +7 / -1

Eating half a pound of spinach per day is better than any multivitamin by a ridiculous margin. The bioavailability of most off the shelf supplements is terrible. 90% of the industry is a scam. You don’t need to supplement anything if you just eat healthy.

3
left_reddit_for_this 3 points ago +3 / -0

You absolutely do need to take a multivitamin with folic acid when your pregnant. The amount of vitamins and minerals your body uses to create life is far more than what you would normally need.

1
Sky_RPL 1 point ago +1 / -0

Folic acid is the synthetic version of folate, which is found in green leafy vegetables such as spinach. The daily requirement for adults is 400 mcg per day, for pregnant women it is 600 mcg per day and for breastfeeding women it is 500 mcg per day. Obviously all nutritional requirements are far more than normal when you are pregnant.

3
left_reddit_for_this 3 points ago +3 / -0

To get the 600 mcg per day needed you would need to eat about 10 cups of spinach. That's ridiculous, and a prenatal is perfectly safe and will do the same. The pretentious bs from health nuts in this thread is embarrassing and based on fear not actual science. You people need to find a nice middle ground between not trusting the medical community and being crazy.

2
Assassin47 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's actually pretty easy with cooked spinach, but I agree vitamins are just fine.

2
Sky_RPL 2 points ago +2 / -0

OP was about generic multivitamins and a culture of pill dependence. Obviously if you have unique nutritional requirements due to illness, pregnancy, scarcity of resources, whatever then you should supplement your diet with whatever micro/macro nutrients you need. FFS bro, take these pedantic arguments back to reddit. We get it, you are technically correct in your edge case. Gold star.

2
WinsomeWonder 2 points ago +2 / -0

Some women have absurd amounts of nutrition requirements that can't be met. I needed to have 180 grams of protein while pregnant with twins. You can't physically eat that much protein AND 10 cups of spinach while your internal organs are being squished. Plus Vitamin D in a place like Seattle is super necessary.

Great point, but it's worse. It was 5 years before the public figured it out and the bureaucracy could no longer deny it. And that was only because regular people stood up and shouted and demanded to be heard. A whole lot of people (many of whom are supposed to be protecting us) knew what the drug was doing to babies and did a whole lot of nothing long before the bureaucracy got it's head out of it's ass. Many many children were born with horrible defects BECAUSE people lied. Because people covered up the truth.

People lie about these things for reasons. How many times have we caught Fauci lying? How many government policies/mandates are based on his lies?

13

If you think this is terrible (it is), you should look at Falujah babies. The depleted uranium projectiles use to penetrate tanks poisoned entire areas indefinitely.

A survey performed in Fallujah in 2010 found that the overall cancer rate in the time after the 2003 war had increased four-fold compared to standard rates in the Jordanian or the Middle Eastern Cancer Registries. Childhood cancer had increased 12-fold, while leukemia rates had increased 38-fold. Another survey performed in 2010 found that 14.7 % of all babies born in Fallujah had birth defects. A follow-up study found significantly higher uranium levels in the hair of mothers of children diagnosed with congenital anomalies than in control populations (0.18 ppm vs. 0.04 ppm).

Those in power are psychopaths.

Lesley Stahl on U.S. sanctions against Iraq: We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean, that’s more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright: I think this is a very hard choice, but the price–we think the price is worth it.

Evil psychopaths. If millions suffer from horrendous mRNA side effects, they will also say. "we think the price was worth it:".

7
Destroy_WithLove 7 points ago +7 / -0

The other day I was at the pharmacy and asked an employee how they felt about giving people these injections. He shrugged and said “fine”.

“Even knowing about all the adverse reactions?”

“Every vax has minor side effects...” he started. I cut him off- “No. nothing like this. I’ve seen the data. Look at openvaers.com” I spelled it for him.

Then he started to equivocate. ... I personally don’t do the shots.... I’m not allowed to talk to patients.... my boss .... there’s a warning questionnaire...

Instantly I saw how average people throughout history separated themselves from the atrocities they participated in

2
KungPaoMcChicken 2 points ago +2 / -0

Apparently there is no animal or mammal on the earth that doesn't have that teflon crap bio-accumulating in their body. And you'd think they would have learnt their lesson from it? Nope, they slightly adjusted the chain to look slightly different, still pumping the byproduct out into the worlds water supply. They used to put that crap into firefighting foam. There is a firefighting training facility that is so badly contaminated its not funny.

Recently in Melbourne, the east west road tunnel had to stop work because they went through an area full of it. See, they can't dump it, so after digging the ground, they had nowhere for the soil to go.

1
HillarysBustedDonut 1 point ago +1 / -0

They still use something in firefighting foam that causes cancer. My BIL's sister's husband is a Fireman and has to take yearly cancer tests because he works with it.

Also, did you hear about benzene in sunscreen? Turns out that Johnson and Johnson, the company that concealed the fact that their talcum powder was tainted with asbestos for 20 years while continuing to sell it, recently had to pull 2 of their sunscreen products of the shelves for containing benzene, which causes leukemia. One of Johnson and Johnson's most profitable prescription only drugs happens to be a drug used in the treatment of leukemia. I'm sure that's just a coincidence.

Good point but it was never approved for use in the US for morning sickness. Thalidomide babies were mostly miscarried or born with defects in Europe. It was approved in the US in 1998 as a treatment for some types of cancer. A good example of how older, cheaper drugs can find new uses for other conditions. Cough, cough, hydroxychloroquine, cough, Ivermectin, cough, cough.

" In April 1962, the FDA finally revealed that thalidomide had been distributed widely as samples in a clinical trial. Even then, the information was treated as a minor event in American newspapers, apparently because the FDA said no women who took the medication had so far delivered a baby with birth defects.

Details emerged over the coming months and in early August 1962, newspapers reported that Richardson Merrell distributed more than 2.5 million doses of thalidomide to more than 1,200 U.S. doctors. " (usthalidomide.org)

Dr. Kelsey was a hero for standing up to companies and her peers. They blame the women now because it was "not meant for pregnant women " those women trusted their doctors.

1
Mulky 1 point ago +1 / -0

This was the statement made in 2012:  In celebration of the Society of Toxicology's 50th Anniversary, which coincides with the 50th anniversary of the withdrawal of thalidomide from the market, it is appropriate to revisit the lessons learned from the thalidomide tragedy of the 1960s.

Ironic it hasn't been used to argue against these rushed vaccines but we live in a "sheep" society.

But it was Trump that rushed the vaccines. This forum had been saying he should be the one to get credit for the vaccines being available because of Operation Warp Speed but now everyone is saying they don't trust them because they were rushed. Even the non-liability stuff was Trump because he had the vax rushed. And then he took the vax and has told all of us to take it. So either he is in on the whole globalist cabal thing, he's an idiot that took the poison from the enemy, he's a liar and didn't really get it, or maybe, just maybe the vax is just a vax and you've let tribalism, paranoia, and distrust of the media cloud your decision making. I know a ton of people that have gotten the vax and are perfectly fine. I know pregnant women that got it and had a healthy baby. I know women that got it and got pregnant afterward. My dad was recovering from Chemo and he got it and is just fine. Bottom line, you trust Trump, Trump said to get the vax. So either he's an idiot and we're all stupid for following him, he's a liar and we're all really fucking stupid for following him, or y'all are overreacting. I would not be surprised if people her started calling Trump "controlled opposition" because that is how bad the partisan tribalism has gotten.

8
FudgyFudgeBots 8 points ago +8 / -0

I should trust a vax because you know several people who got it and are ok?

Multitudes of infants took the rotavirus vax and didnt get intusseception but many did so the vax was pulled.

How many deaths or adverse reactions are acceptable? Thousands of deaths from the covid vax have been reported to the CDC. They pulled rhe swine flu vax for 50 deaths yet after thousands, they are mandating the covid vax.

Nobody knows why Trump is pushing this but it doesn't matter. We are faced with a demented old pedophile mandating the vax vs a president who will not try to take away our choice.

Your argument is weak.

5
unicornpoop 5 points ago +5 / -0

Trump is a boomer, and they seem to trust the medical industrial complex. And if anyone gets the vax because they "trust Trump" or "trust science" or even "trust my doctor" you're not paying attention. Take responsibility for your own health and you'll live alot longer IMHO.

2
noonthirty 2 points ago +2 / -0

1
HillarysBustedDonut 1 point ago +1 / -0

When did we say he should get credit? I'm on here all the time and the overall sentiment is that he needs to admit he was duped and disavow them asap, because when it becomes clear that the clotshot recipients are dying at a much higher rate than the rest of us, the establishment will throw him under the bus for warpspeed. He needs to get out ahead of the inevitable.

Wouldn't keep shilling for the jab if I were you because an honest person would have a ton of regret when they find out they encouraged people to get it when shtf.

Of course the argument could be made that it's a person's choice whether or not to get it, and that's fine, but only if they are informed enough about the risks before they make that decision, and most people are not. They are just mindlessly droned with sAfE aNd eFfeCtiVe and given no actual facts about rates of side effects vs rates of actually dying of covid. They are told it lessens the severity of the disease which is unknowable. They are also told it is now FDA approved which isn't true. The EUA has been extended. It is NOT approved. People are being coerced into taking, with threats of losing their jobs and freedoms, what they think are traditional vaccines, when in reality they are unapproved, untested, expiremental mRNA therapies. That is wrong.

1
PissedoffCanadian 1 point ago +1 / -0

And you completely and utterly miss the point of this thread. Just because anyone says or encourages taking any medication, doesn't mean they are right.

Reasonable people will look at the data, weigh the facts and seek advice. Then they will determine if the risk/reward is worth it.

Just because Trump encourages it, doesn't mean I'm going to do it. I've weighed the risks, and I've determined the they are far to high for the reward. Sure, I know people that have gotten the jab and have been fine(for now), but I also know people that got it and have had major side effects.

EDIT: Also, I know quite a few people that got the co'of, and not one of them needed hospitalation or died. Let's see if the people I know who got the jab are in a year or two. I'm curious what will happen when they get the co'of...I wonder how they will fair.
