you will find a hallmark of bureaucratic communistic tyrants is discretionary enforcement of rules

If you understand that they enact hypocrisy as a strategic weapon, then you can better predict their moves and you'll be able to brace for the physical revulsion you'll feel. It requires thinking like a dirtbag leftist would think.

This excerpt is also illuminating:

"Rule 4: Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. "You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity."" - Saul Alinsky, Rules For Radicals

We have to out-hypocratize them, lol.

I hate that logic.

"We need a law that you can't milk cows between 4am and 9am!"

"WTF do we need that!?"

"Because gomer puts on his radio while he's milking cows and it keeps waking me up!"

"But I milk my cow before 9am!"

"Oh, well don't worry about it. You're in good with Sheriff Jenkins, he won't bust you for it."

"...well why not make a law that you can't blast music between 4am and 9am then?"

"Because then we can't have music at our weekend parties, you idiot!"

"Because then we can't have music at our weekend parties, you idiot!"

"Agricultural halls are for agricultural music."

Exactly! Just like the workplace reporting negative effects of the vaccine as a workplace issue. Well, that don't apply anymore, because, you know.

Dont ask for what you dont want. They will ask you to post the OSHA sexual harassment poster on a wall or be fined.

Alright, who keeps letting Judy in here? She's slapped my ass 3 times today. I need HR.

.. Sir, isn't Judy is your wife?

Yes, but I'm at my workplace. This is harassment according to that poster!

Lurker404 5 points ago +5 / -0

Dont ask for what you dont want.

Yea, before you know it you'll have to allow compliance officers from your employer and OSHA into your home.

Ackschuallleeey:

"Policy for Home Offices. OSHA will not conduct inspections of employees' home offices.

OSHA will not hold employers liable for employees' home offices, and does not expect employers to inspect the home offices of their employees.

If OSHA receives a complaint about a home office, the complainant will be advised of OSHA's policy. If an employee makes a specific request, OSHA may informally let employers know of complaints about home office conditions, but will not follow-up with the employer or employee."

ref: https://www.osha.gov/enforcement/directives/cpl-02-00-125#policy

This may indeed make WFH folks exempt from any vax mandates (barring any 'updates', of course.).

Lurker404 2 points ago +2 / -0

Around here we are a bit further down the nanny state road. Employers are required to ensure the home office is safe for workers. That includes inspections of home offices. While the worker can theoretically deny the employer entry into his home, he then has to suffer the consequences, e.g. being forced to stop working from home.

Considering US leftists are basically just copying the retards here in the EU I wouldn't feel too safe if I were you. One incident of some idiot hurting himself at home while on the clock that gets a bit too much attention and you've got yourself a new EO or law.

Yea employers are barking up the wrong chain if they push this and don’t think we will not report shit we turned are head to when we were being a team player. If they do fuck them all report their ass.

7
AlwaysTrumper2020 7 points ago +7 / -0

This.

I was actually just thinking of this this morning. Overwhelm the system with OSHA violation claims. Also EEOC and the like claims. They have to investigate every single one.

Be careful what you ask for.

As those in the firearm owners community understand, never invite the man into your house.

The amount of people that would willingly OSHA approved their house and fall over each other to meet compliance would be astounding, even though by this time it shouldn't.

Someone keeps smacking my husband's ass at work. This is total sexual harassment.

If it’s an older building, could also look for asbestos exposure disclaimer. And lead based paint disclaimer. And in CA they must display ‘can lead to cancer’ warning for just about anything. Must have handicap spots in front of the building WITH sign posted at the entrance to the parking lot. Etc. Etc.

evlbstrd [S] 6 points ago +6 / -0

Are those paint cans properly labeled and do you have the required MSDS safety sheets?

5
SkullE 5 points ago +5 / -0

Is there a msds folder with all chemicals listed. Is there a fire proof cabinet with wd40 and other flammable chemicals inside. Is there adequate PPS for all people and labeled personally as to not have cross contamination.

I could go on all day.

And the tripping hazards, the safety gear, the signage, the slipping hazards. There’s just so much potential osha danger in your virtual workplace…. But do you really want osha inspecting your virtual workplace? Be careful what you wish for is all I’m saying.

1
My2Cents 1 point ago +1 / -0

Just wait, they'll force you to install handicap ramps and all the rest at home. Fines for no-compliance. Don't give them ideas.

1
Racerspuff 1 point ago +1 / -0

It’s on the employer though. They must make the workplace safe. So, prioritize the things you want done (like nice flammable materials cabinets in the garage for me…) then quit and work for yourself or someone with less than 100 employees.

Not that any of this is going to happen, but if it did, maybe companies would push back rather than just rolling over and saying “it’s not my rules…”
