Holy Crap! Montana is trying to be as Free as Florida!

105
Liberty4All 105 points ago +105 / -0

Montana is ahead of Florida in this.

Florida's state and local government agencies (including schools) are banned from mandating COVID 19 vaccines.

But unfortunately Florida's private businesses can and do fire people for not getting vaxxed.

The same applies to masking.

I believe a judge overturned the school mask mandate in Florida. There is some weird inner war going on with pedo judges being busted.

14
SquiggyMcPepe 14 points ago +14 / -0

No they overturned the injunction to stop it. The mandate is still in effect so kids don't have to wear them if they don't want to. Also the kentucky legislature is currently working to stop the mandates from taking hold there too. The cuck D governor is trying to stop them but thankfully in ky the legislature has a supermajority and have already cut his balls off on emergency powers. He can bleat and moan about it but he can't stop them. This is the same governor who was caught driving around and screaming at pedestrians to mask up.

1
Liberty4All 1 point ago +1 / -0

I thought that the no vax mandate bill that he signed in May only applied to employees of government agencies, not employees of private businesses.

After I made a similar comment on another thread, someone else corrected me.

2
left_reddit_for_this 2 points ago +2 / -0

Apparently the bill he passed also allows the government to force the vax on you still and quarantine you too. Look up SB 2006. The wording left in the bill is very concerning.

2
Liberty4All 2 points ago +2 / -0

"Left in the bill" is the right phrase. That language has been in Florida law for many years.

But I 100% agree that DeSantis should have taken it out. When/if we get another leftie governor that language will be used against us.

12

The section of America that includes North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming and Montana is without a doubt remarkably based. Pedes, go on vacation to these places just to meet the people and restore your faith in America. (Beautiful landscapes too).

16
SecondProtectsFirst 16 points ago +16 / -0

It’s happening everywhere. The fact that interest rates are lower than ever means people can approved for a higher principle and make higher offers. Once interest rates go back up, home prices are going to tank.

and raise rabbits

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protein_poisoning

not sure if it's a real thing but something a buddy told me about eating a diet where your only meat is rabbit.

11
LibertarianXian 11 points ago +11 / -0

I think the main issue is that rabbit and other game meat is not fatty. Having laying chickens offsets this.

10
Big_cunt 10 points ago +10 / -0

Yea, it's called rabbit starvation, they are so lean you don't get enough essential fats and fat soluble nutrients or something

4
rossiFan 4 points ago +5 / -1

I heard that if you eat the brain, it helps.

4
Tardigrade 4 points ago +4 / -0

There is an ancient greek myth about a guy who gets cursed so that no matter how much he eats he stays hungry. Some scholars think it's based on this lol.

3
LordKuroTheGreat 3 points ago +3 / -0

So don't eat nothing but rabbit for every single meal, and include some butter on your toast? It's pretty hard to get yourself into a rabbit starvation situation unless you're actively trying to do it.

1
Batman 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’m trying to get confirmation on this. If so, I’ll get an address in MT ASAP.

1
NachtAffen 1 point ago +1 / -0

Specifically about Montanans who are employed by out of state companies? I've looked into it a lot because my husband works remotely for Californians. The source of this little info graphic is the medical freedom group who are responsible for this bill being passed as a law, you could contact the groups telegram page if you would like to talk to them (the group is called Montanans for Vaccine Choice) it's a very active group and I know theyd be happy to help

18
airborne3502 18 points ago +18 / -0

For years I've said that Montana is my personal kingdom and I've renamed it Mantana.

16
ShitOfPeace 16 points ago +16 / -0

This actually already violates federal law. The entire purpose of HIPAA is to prevent discrimination based on health status. Democrats just don't give a shit.

9
Beaver_Den 9 points ago +9 / -0

Eventually conservatives will accept this and stop responding with "Can you imagine if the Democrats did this..."

They don't have foundational principles. Hypocrisy doesn't shame them. Act accordingly.

My next door neighbor bought his house in the 90s for under 200k, and it’s bigger than mine. I bought mine for under $400k in 2014. House next street up, bout the same size as mine, just sold for $850k. It’s gone totally insane. Houses selling left and right for $600k or more with little to no work done to them since the 80s. This is in the Denver area.

I now live in Texas, you can t eat the scenery.

And I'd imagine the cuckifornians don't hunt, right? So plenty of game up there?

1
MauserShooter 1 point ago +1 / -0

I left the state in the late 90s. No Californians there then. It was still the wild north. There was a time we didn’t even have speed limits.

1
MauserShooter 1 point ago +1 / -0

But yes the game is almost as good as Alaska.

Bring a big bore revolver, you may have to fight off a bear or lion if you are out in the woods.

7

In Ohio, we have a bill in our state legislature that would make us just like Montana. House Bill 248. But our wimpy state legislature refuses to move on it.

7
Batman 7 points ago +7 / -0

What happens when a company headquartered outside Montana tries to mandate an employee in Montana get the shot? Does Federal or State law win? I know it's probably not clear, maybe we need to wait for "litigation".

7
rablecti 7 points ago +7 / -0

If your workplace is in Montana they can't mandate it.

8
Batman 8 points ago +8 / -0

Our headquarters is in a blue state. I'm a remote employee. Looking at all my options, one of which is moving to Montana.

1
sanitaryshaver 1 point ago +1 / -0

Considering the fact that congress hasn't passed shit and the mandate is just another shitty executive branch pretending to be dictators...

Also, EO's have a bad history - it was an EO that sent Japanese-Americans to internment camps.

7
ConfederateFlag 7 points ago +7 / -0

I’ve been preaching this for weeks.

We should all move there and embed ourselves in the government process. The land mass is huge and most liberals can’t stand the cold and hard work.

I’ll be in WY or MT in November. We need to support the governor there and make sure nothing is compromised, because believe me, the liberals in Missoula and Kalispell want to remove that law.

3
sanitaryshaver 3 points ago +3 / -0

You should all move to Missoula and Bozemen and outnumber the trust fund children. That would be a positive thing.

1
ConfederateFlag 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don’t like cities. Born and raised on the country but I’ll be sure to piss them off with my flag.

My company -Carrier Corp.- in July enacted a system to "voluntarily opt-out" or wearing mask if you gave them proof of vaccination. At the beginning of this month they required revealing your vaccination status by the 17th. You know what's the next turn up in the heat: "Go get the jab". I'm in the decaying liberal hellhole of NY and already got in the mindset of moving to Montana as soon as they fire me.

3
Electricbrewer 3 points ago +3 / -0

How would it work in states that ban vaccine mandates but the Feds mandate them as a condition of accepting Medicare? Asking for a friend...

3
SteelDriver 3 points ago +3 / -0

God bless you, Montana. I hope other states follow your lead.

3
dr_gonzo 3 points ago +3 / -0

I've been looking at places in Montana. I work remotely so can basically move wherever I want. I've only driven through Montana once but really liked what I saw.

And I know damn well their politics are better than my shitty state now that we've been infested with MA and NY leftists. This place gets noticeably worse seemingly every day. Hell, in just the last 2 weeks, I have 2 brand new neighbors. Both from MA. And of course, the woman who just moved right next to me has a Bernie sticker on her car.

I feel like we need militias on the state border, but it's too late now anyway. The idiots have hit critical mass and the destruction has begun.
