Mine has been like that since 11-4-2020, it’ll stay like that until the true President is back.

YaharaRiver 3 points ago +3 / -0

Same here, since 11/4/20. On a street-facing bedroom window, which also blocks any libtard PEEPING PEDOS.

My flag has been in distress position since the day of fraud 1/6/2021....right underneath; Don't blame me, I voted for Trump. I live in liberal hell and enjoy letting my neighbors know my position.

I traded my Old Glory for a solid black one.

Take no prisoners friend

GodGunsCountryAlways 3 points ago +3 / -0

Where did you get it from? And how durable is it? Flags don't last long being flown in the back of my truck...

2
Robigus 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sadly, Amazon because I couldn't find it anywhere else. It seems like one of the heavier duty ones. Made from Danf Flag.

H. L. Mencken has entered the chat

I thought this was less about the nation being distressed, more about someone in the area is distressed.

I was always taught you only did this as a civilian to alert fire and rescue that you need assistance.

Toobin247 5 points ago +6 / -1

You are correct. Everyone doing this symbolically is doing it for the wrong reason. Its flag desecration. But if you try to explain it they will just reeeee and argue. So I just hide these posts. You’re only supposed to do this for immediate distress to alert rescue responders.

YaharaRiver 3 points ago +4 / -1

this made me laugh. "oh shit, my kitchen's on fire! Never mind the phone, hurry and hang up a flag so a firetruck roaming the neighborhood will see it!!"

1
2020isKAGtime 1 point ago +3 / -2

It’s essentially for both. But think about that last one. Imagine your house burning down. You (hopefully) want to work on getting the kids and pets out. But wait, you should take a few mins to go flip your flag outside first.
It probably has its place for doing so but, it seems akin to carrying without a round chambered.

bosticetudis 3 points ago +4 / -1

Seriously?

Bruh

You do this if you are in distress. Fire and rescue do more than just house fires.

You're being pedantic.

TellMeBoutIt 4 points ago +4 / -0

Who's to say he isn't in distress? Why can't it be a symbol like-minded individuals can use to identify each other? Why can't it be used to send a message. Symbols can quickly be changed for new meanings, think St. Peter's crucifixion, the swastika, the pentagram, etc.

2
Joeshmoe91 2 points ago +2 / -0

I find it to be shallow and pedantic

1
2020isKAGtime 1 point ago +1 / -0

Bruh, it was a situational example. But let’s use some examples of personal distress:

Diagnosis of a life-threatening illness. The death of a loved one. The loss of a job. A serious injury. Filing for divorce and/or a separation. Being neglected or abused.

If everyone flipped their flags for these examples, it would visually seem that the country is in perpetual distress as a nation.

LogicalHandicap -4 points ago +1 / -5

But this personal distress is SPECIFICALLY because of and caused by the distress of the nation. So your examples are moot.

Already done!

JoeBidensDementia1 5 points ago +5 / -0

I did on Sept 11. I was the ONLY person in my neighborhood to put out any kind of flag, let alone 20 of them not including a house flag.

No one noticed.

dudeguy 4 points ago +4 / -0

RAISE your flag

3
PUGGALUV 3 points ago +3 / -0

I posted already but my neighbor flipped his yesterday!

Been flying my impeach and black US flag for months now in the people's republic of Maryland. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfAoyKgqESM

Many months now.

Is this a good thing. I have been thinking about it, but I am not sure it's appropriate

1
Duke442games [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes, we need to be sending a message outside of these forums. Everyone around us must know that the nation is in danger. The MSM will keep the fat and happy until the day they kick the door down.

Dems protest at the drop of a hat because they see the value of visibility. MAGA needs to see the same thing. We need to save our brothers in prison and stand up for what is right.

People need to see it.

Make them see what they have done, what they are doing, and what's next.

2
Bidens_Poopy_Diaper 2 points ago +2 / -0

Mine too. In distress position since J6th.

2
PonySoldier66 2 points ago +2 / -0

January 20th for me.

2
wheresgonewild 2 points ago +2 / -0

I took mine down the day they stole the election. Won’t be going back up for a long time I feel…

1
Duke442games [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Good for you

2
UncleDaddyZ 2 points ago +2 / -0

I’ve been flying mine upside down since 06-Jan. My HOA sent me a letter asking me to take it down. Of course, I declined but offered to explain my reasoning to anyone interested.

2
Dedcatsk8r 2 points ago +2 / -0

Already did! Got em upside down on my Harley and my helmet

2
PaulieM91 2 points ago +2 / -0

If i owned my lot I'd swap old glory for the enclave flag. And giggle when my neighbors asked what it meant then tell them to google what the word enclave means

1
monkeycat2010 1 point ago +2 / -1

I changed my FB profile pic to an upside down flag. Agreed. It is time to signal that we are in mortal danger.

2
GodGunsCountryAlways 2 points ago +2 / -0

You still have fakebook?

monkeycat2010 0 points ago +1 / -1

I know, I know. Just for a No Vax group. It is still heinous.

1
MapleBaconWaffles 1 point ago +1 / -0

Is there some historical precedent for flying the flag upside down to indicate the nation is in distress?

0
Smurfection 0 points ago +1 / -1

I understand why some pedes and some conservatives want to do this but I don't think it's the best idea. None of us are starving, being killed by any armies, etc. The only reason we'd say our nation is in distress is either by arguing metaphorically or hyperbolically.
