This is a fine meme, for somebody who already knows what we're talking about.

I'm going to quote you a recent email from a normie of good will:

99% of the people who have died in hospitals for Covid were unvaccinated, because this number includes all those people who got sick before the vaccines were available. Current data is different. Current data shows that the vaccinated are getting the disease. There’s even a new paper about a COVID outbreak at a Vietnamese hospital, where 100% of the staff was fully vaccinated. That’s the study that documented just how high the viral loads are in vaccinated people.

99% of current hospitalizations are of unvaccinated. None of this seems to talk about the "hazards" of the vaccine. It's all talking about an increase in breakthrough cases which will happen as people continue to let this disease run free, and mutate. I imagine I'll have to get another vaccine because of this. There is nothing saying the vaccine itself is causing any problems. The worst you can say is it is not quite as successful as you might like, but it is saving many peoples lives and keeping the symptoms down if you do get sick.

I just cited data from all over the world and in this country, showing substantial numbers of breakthrough infections, including 25% from two weeks ago, in Los Angeles.

So, the point about failure of protection still needs to be made, with some sort of cite imbedded in the meme.

Take your pick:

the Mayo clinic in the US, covering 5 States,

Comparison of two highly-effective mRNA vaccines for COVID-19 during periods of Alpha and Delta variant prevalence

However, in July, the effectiveness against infection was considerably lower for mRNA-1273 [Moderna] (76%, 95% CI: 58-87%) with an even more pronounced reduction in effectiveness for BNT162b2 [Pfizer] (42%, 95% CI: 13-62%).

West Virginia

...over the last eight weeks, health officials have seen a 26% increase in cases among fully vaccinated residents, a 21% increase, among the vaccinated, in cases requiring hospitalizations and a 25% increase in deaths among those who have gotten their shots, Gov. Justice said.

This news article also said: "While those percentages are unsettling, the “breakthrough cases” account for .4% of all of the state’s COVID-19 cases. That is, if you dilute the recent results and present cumulative results from before the vaccines were available, you can claim that only a very small number of the cases are among those who are vaccinated.

Breakthrough infections again accounted for about 40% of all cases reported in Massachusetts last week.

The number of new breakthrough cases announced each Tuesday has climbed each week since DPH announced the initial batch of 7,737 breakthrough infections on July 31.

Los Angeles

From May 1 to June 25, 25% of the COVID cases in Los Angeles were in people who were vaccinated

Among 43,127 reported SARS-CoV-2 infections in Los Angeles County residents aged ≥16 years, 10,895 (25.3%) were in fully vaccinated persons, 1,431 (3.3%) were in partially vaccinated persons, and 30,801 (71.4%) were in unvaccinated persons.
