It seems like too many people here think that either you have fair elections and a working justice system or you go directly to violent civil war. This is not the case. People like Soros and the CIA know this isn’t the case because they have had plenty of success with “color revolution” civil resistance tactics.

These tactics are not used to signal moral superiority; they’re used because they’re the most effective tactics. These tactics are studied in war colleges for this reason.

Why can’t conservatives in the US seem to figure this out? Where are the leaders? Where’s the conservative version of Soros? Where are the organizations?

American conservatives need to learn the tactics that communists have been perfecting for the last 100+ years because this is what works:

198 Methods of non-violent action

Books on Civil Resistance by Gene Sharp

Civil Resistance Tactics in the 21st Century

It only takes 3.5% of the population (peak participation) to succeed

It isn’t just protest marches and rallies. Not understanding this is why we lose.

Read about Common Misconceptions — Nonviolent action has nothing to do with passivity, submissiveness, and cowardice; just as in violent action, these must first be rejected and overcome.

Lastly, here’s the history of what happened before 1776:

Before Lexington: Resistance, Politics, and the American Struggle for Independence, 1765–1775 - (full book) — Describes civil resistance campaigns of 1765 to 1775 opposing the Stamp Act of 1765, the Townsend Acts of 1767, and the Coercive Acts of 1774. Citing Sharp's Politics of Nonviolent Action, the authors divide methods of nonviolent action into the three categories of nonviolent protest and persuasion, noncooperation, and nonviolent intervention.

Spread the word! Please help me repost and promote this until everyone has seen it!

We especially need to get this knowledge into the hands of organizers, influencers, and sponsors!

Also see the CTH three tier political strategy that starts at the local level with the GOP takeover precinct strategy which only requires 0.3% MAGA voters to achieve.

Why are there a bunch of doomers on this site CONSTANTLY...you guys talk shit from behind a keyboard and attack the only Patriots who have stood up against the political establishment in DC. Wendy Roger's, Mike Lindell, Steve Bannon, & Doug Mastriano are heroes who have put everything on the line and here you are with this bullshit...attack the GOP all you want. The majority of them are uniparty, establishment cucks with ZERO understanding of the grassroots MAGA movement. Let's all quit complaining and get involved. We have to save this country

Why are there a bunch of doomers on this site CONSTANTLY...you guys talk shit from behind a keyboard and attack the only Patriots who have stood up against the political establishment in DC.

I do really believe that a good portion of the doomers are not frens but shills or agents of the enemy (i.e. CCP, FBI, ShareBlue/Correct-the-record/whatever-they-are-calling-themselves-nowadays, DNC/RINO non-profits, etc.). They are all losers who do nothing but act out in favor of the tyrants who don't care about them.

As for the reason why this site gets doomers/shills so much, it comes with being the biggest Trump-supporter site on the Internet, hands-down. The enemy can not let the MAGA train go on any further than it has right now and will send out their shills to squash any opposition no matter how new or well established they are. This site was under constant attack ever since day one, and I do believe that GAB is starting to feel some heat, although the presence of a functioning block button and a more responsive staff helped keep things under control.

We have this meme when we all first transferred here from Reddit. It shows a man with a Reddit t-shirt stretching his neck out, like he is a rubberman, past all of these websites and obstacles we set up along the way, to theDonald and then yelling at us obscenities. That is the nature of all tyrants: they are so fragile that they must squash all resistance, no matter how remote nor how powerful they are, else they will collapse like a house of cards.

3
FreeFire 3 points ago +3 / -0

Well stated! The enemy must quash all opposition since their Ideology can't abide any scrutiny: it has no merit, cannot be substantiated.

I've found quite a few evil entities striking at Gab, but as you've said there is a robust ejection button available to users. The mods here on PW are very good at taking down crap...as long as you report it. I usually let the rank posts go so others can see how dumb they are; I only deport or block when someone is out of control and seems driven by evil.

Did she say that? It wouldn't surprise me.

The other day she was tweeting about how she only has a certain number of followers (let's say 170k, I don't remember what it was). She was tweeting that she wanted to get to 200k, so everyone retweet.

I unfollowed. Worry about doing your job, don't worry about social media clout.

The list of people you put out are people YOU respect. The operative word is you. The real reason why we dont have a george soros is it takes a special kind of person to do what soros does. They are once in a lifetime. Unfortunately this lifetime might be the evil dickhead who is histories mover. Tbo, i think soros is a puppet. The real evil is behind him in the shadow.

Why hate at all? If they release the audit and it turns out she wasn't misleading us, there's no reason to disparage her. She's not single-handedly in control of the audit process.

Absolutely yes! Most of these GOP people as I’m sure you’ve noticed are 75 years old and only as involved as their nap will allow them, if they do hold any events they put them at horrible times in the middle of the workday.
What you need to do is start a weekly (yes WEEKLY) “Young Republicans Club”. Make it a low impact event, it should be consistently timed and at a consistent friendly location like a local pub or the like that is open to conservatives meeting EVERY WEEK.
Do not make it a big to do. Simple food, Conversation, and camaraderie is enough at the beginning. Invite your local state senator or congressman to speak, if you have A Republican chairman or treasurer invite them too. One speaker per week is enough. Make your own GOP. This is what I have done it’s going swimmingly.

Memorize your by-laws and use them against the establishment.

Also, they should have a calendar up on the website and emails should be going out regularly. If that's not happening, something is amiss.

15
HeavyMetalPatriot 15 points ago +16 / -1

Memorize your by-laws and use them against the establishment.

Exactly this. Everybody needs to realize that any GOP turf is enemy territory to MAGA. It's not rocket science for the GOP to figure out who are the MAGA infiltrators trying to ruin their lovely Uniparty. Thus, you have to use their rules against them...but don't be surprised when they toss you by "misinterpreting" the rules. Standard practice in any cushy club that doesn't want meddling outsiders.

13
War_Hamster 13 points ago +14 / -1

Yup, I've heard dozens of examples of this. The Republican Party is not our friend, but it is the conduit we must use.

3
HeavyMetalPatriot 3 points ago +5 / -2

No. The GOP is the conduit Trump chose for his followers to use. Hopefully more useful than his vax and with less side effects.

2
bidentheftdotcom 2 points ago +3 / -1

This is the kind of thing Trump should have advocated for since before 2016 even.

2
War_Hamster 2 points ago +3 / -1

We'll have to debate the side effect and usefulness issues a few years down the road. I'm unsure which is the more harmful.

17
DaughterOfLiberty 17 points ago +17 / -0

Get a list of all your registered voters in your precinct. The GOP for your county should have this. Do a canvas. Get people off the rolls who don’t belong. Ask the GOP who to talk to about being a poll worker in your precinct. Go to local republican events tell them you are precinct chair looking for volunteers to canvas and get the vote out. Hold a voter registration drive in your precinct.

12
SmartPlenty86 12 points ago +13 / -1

Who is your county chairman? Does your group have a website with contact information? Does your group have a FB page?-don't gripe about FB, it's an honest question. Try to contact your state GOP. They should have a list of who to contact at the county level. Please don't give up. You are needed.

Note we also need people to read up and share what details they learn. I’ve only read a fraction of the material myself.

Also, Mike Lindell might be the closest thing we have to a conservative Soros at the moment. If anyone knows him tell him about Gene Sharp’s work and the field of study in general. Gene Sharp was also a Christian and worked on his theories because he was a Christian pacifist. But as it turns out, nonviolent warfare is actually a hybrid warfare domain.

TODO LIST - 2 WEEK TIMELINE

  1. Go to a city council meeting, a local school board meeting (you don’t have to have kids in school to attend), and a Republican Party meeting this month. Speak up in the meeting about masks, vaccines, and/or racist CRT.

  2. Go through your last weeks purchases and mark ALL the ones that are owned by major corporations, especially ones that have worked against Trump. This next week, find an alternative product or eliminate the product from your life. Whatever money you manage to save, app,y to 3.

  3. Donate some amount of money to a MAGA organization, like one of these:

  1. Make a list of the various candidates for 2022 running for each office in your state (or a different one for opsec purposes) clear down to dogcatcher. Research and Identify each best and worst candidate for MAGA principles and write up a report on it to share on Patriots.win.

  2. Invite someone you know to start working out or running/hiking with you and talk a little bit about emergency preparedness while you exercise — AKA start forming your own “6-man team”.

There’s five specific things you CAN do THIS month, if you take action in the next 14 days. If you’re too lazy to do five, pick two — fail to accomplish one, but get the other one done.

Each takes some time and effort, and you won’t get any applause or medals, or even feel like you did much to make a difference (yet). But you’ll be in the fight, and I think you’ll be surprised to find out how that will transform you.

DO YOUR PART!

SCHOOLKID LEVEL: Educate yourself and start respectfully asking teachers and youth leaders hard questions — about masks, Vaxx science, Marxism, and why they’re not doing their professional responsibility.

...

HOUSEWIFE LEVEL: Turn off the TV. Homeschool. Educate yourself on election security issues and then talk about it to other parents about issues. Strongly set expectations for teachers, school officials, coaches, etc. Pray and eat dinner together as a family. Provide moral courage and support to your husband. Manage your budget and spending against woke corporations and especially against the Trump boycotted companies.

...

BREADWINNER LEVEL: Demonstrate courage. Resist simply complying — grumble and moan when you are forced by circumstances. Stop drinking and smoking. Put away the video games and distractions. Set aside some of that money you’re earning towards donating to the fight. Get in shape. Get to know the names of your local elected officials. Go to a caucus or community meeting or something at least once in the next four weeks, and calmly make your voice heard.

...

RETIREE LEVEL: Haunt the school boards, city council meetings, caucuses, party meetings, etc. Rise and speak — short and to the point, maybe plagerize the best .win comment you read. Grumble and moan about the issues everywhere you go — your voice can be extra persuasive and you can be the spark for someone else’s actions and energy. Be a local organizer for the guys who are too busy working to take on that task — collect the info about meeting times and places, the candidates contact info, the emergency call lists, etc. Speak up in church and let people know you are there with the info.

...

TECHNICALLY SKILLED LEVEL: Become an asset. Find a way to use your expertise to help the movement and MAGA candidates. Seek them out. Do pro-bono work, set up a website for the retiree’s info, set up a HAM repeater, plant a community garden or write a guide for people to start one. Get involved in your professional organizations and push for MAGA principles.

...

BUSINESS OWNER LEVEL: Identify and start actively supporting MAGA candidates with facilities and funds. Hire Deplorables and people that have been ‘cancelled’. Show courage. Put pressure on your advertising agencies, suppliers, and business friends to stand up for MAGA principles. Refuse to enforce unjust mandates and rules or be extremely lax when compelled. Give people time off to attend political events. Reject DEI. Give money to support fighting off the commies before they wreck you. Set up and sponsor local non-profit for a MAGA issue.

...

RICH GUY LEVEL: Fund the fighters with legal support and institutional infrastructure. We need scholarships, legal defense funds, local politics PACs, and guys who will sponsor local organizations like militias and activists. Bring you big shot energy to the fight!

...

SOCIAL BUTTERFLY LEVEL: Start pushing the levers of peer pressure. Use fashion, events, trends, and social venues to introduce MAGA themes and reject Leftist ideology. Show moral courage.

...

MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS LEVEL: It’s time to get involved. Your country and the future need you to step up. You’re the missing piece! Follow Trump’s plan, you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. This post was meant for you — get outside your comfort zone THIS WEEK. Decide today, plan your action by tomorrow night, and MAKE A MOVE before the end of the week.

...

DEPLORABLE LEVEL: Don’t get suckered into rash actions. Dig, meme, pray. Don’t fall for demoralizing or despair over current events. Stand fast, keep fighting, make election security your #1 priority. Together we are winning!

Ask for a warrant. Always ask for a warrant. Ask to see their certifocate that they are a peace officer...usually they are not properly appointed according to law Call your sheriff and ask if this bureaucrat is authorized to perform investigations in HIS county. All investigations at any level of government need the sheriff to approve.

I’d also add:

SCHOLAR LEVEL: Read up on everything, become an expert in the material and teach others about it.

This might sound lame, and everyone doesn’t need to do it themselves, but a certain amount of people are needed. The commies have an army of college professors doing this. We need our own small army of “professors” as well, who don’t need to be actual college professors.

The President isn't happy about the fact that I'm not a Republican. My rationale for not joining political parties is strong, but the young are sometimes idealistic.

But he's a sharp young man and he'll get it. Not too difficult to show that political parties are part of the problem, and I do support Patriots working through the Republican Party under the current system.

Years ago, I read Trent Lott's book, Herding Cats. He made an interesting point: at first, he was miffed to get stuck on the Senate rules committee, because it was boring and technical. But because of it, he learned the official rules of conduct backwards and forwards, and he was able to shut down things on the Senate floor that he otherwise wouldn't have known to do.

It never hurts to be the one who knows all the details.

Successful movements have several disparate elements, each of which plays a necessary role. More often than not, heavy action in one role precludes participation in another.

  • Intellectual thought leaders
  • Political Spokesmen
  • Celebrity Cheerleaders
  • Organizational Cadre
  • Financial & logistical institutions
  • Peaceful activists
  • Civilian supporters
  • Strike fighters
  • Home Guard

18
Chopblock 18 points ago +20 / -2

Mostly financed by taxpayers, too.

-1
C_Macks -1 points ago +2 / -3

Not really. You can argue the elite and politicians do but there's no denying a bulk of action on the left is people on the ground trying to make a difference for what they believe in.

They aren't paid, and they honestly think they're at risk for what they're doing. You can point to the BLM riots as exactly that, riots, but there were still thousands of leftists in the streets doing various marches. When they got galvanized this was a daily action.

Conservatives maybe see that number at a rally once a month, when a figurehead organizes it.

1
Chopblock 1 point ago +2 / -1

Then they went back to their ‘Covid Stimulus checks’, posted their virtue signals on government subsidized Facebook using their “Obama phone”, took another month’s reprieve from rent by government mandate, and went to get Covid tested for “free” at a clinic so they could register for another set of classes at Indocrination University, financed by taxpayer-backed Student Loans.

And that’s just the end-consumer leftist. Most of the money laundering and repurposing occurs at the organization and institutional levels, using ‘public-private partnerships’.

-1
C_Macks -1 points ago +1 / -2

Nah, you literally just described the leftist meme. There's actual people, and until you guys realize that you're gonna have problems.

0
Chopblock 0 points ago +1 / -1

Did you actually even read the linked article, or my comment? Nobody’s claiming that there’s not “actual people”.

But 99% percent of them don’t have any clue what they’re actually doing — they mindlessly chant phrases but can’t even articulate what they’re fighting for beyond self-described emotional expressions of feeling, and are completely ignorant of reality.

The reason most are out on the streets is that they are driven there by institutions broadcasting propaganda and using other methods (class credit, for example) to maneuver them out there. These lookyloos are the peaceful protestors and their lazier mindless cousins who stay at home posting themed profile photos are the civilian supporters. Their training is in ignorance, provided by one of the largest taxpayer-funded leftist money-laundering institutions: Public schools.

I’ll stop there, and leave sorting out who fills the other roles and how each is connected to a source of government funds (they all are) as an exercise for the reader.

7
borscht-nazi 7 points ago +9 / -2

>Revolution is a science only a few are competent to practice. It depends on correct organization and, above all, on communications. Then, at the proper moment in history, they strike. Correctly organized and properly timed it is a bloodless coup. Done clumsily or prematurely and the result is civil war, mob violence, purges, terror.
This board may have one or two minds capable of grokking the whole thing.

I really don’t know enough about France to know, but probably longer than it would here. The elitist attitudes and the authoritarianism in France is higher than here. The Corruption Perceptions Index is also higher (which is not directly related but gives some idea.) The elites there are probably more determined to put down “populist revolts”.

They can be manufactured, or a real event can be promoted like crazy and misrepresented for maximum outrage like George Floyd, but it’s difficult to do that without control of media constantly trying to drum up outrage beforehand followed by promotion of the trigger event.

This is why there’s so much effort put into social media censorship and why everyone who promoted Jan 6 protests on Twitter got banned.

One person can’t know how to do everything. He’s basically for campaigning and legal action, the political and legal domains. Probably doesn’t know much about the rest and can’t be expected to be an expert in all areas.

GUNS DON’T WIN AN ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY FIGHT: “Political violence isn’t fun for the whole family: it’s long, and it’s ugly, and everybody suffers.  And nobody ever thinks this when they have a Great Cause, but maybe, just maybe, your Great Cause won’t win. And then what?  “It couldn’t be worse” is the sort of thing Turkish coup plotters say right before their attempt fails and leaves their bete noire in undisputed charge of writing the purge lists. When it comes to political violence, everybody imagines themselves piloting the helicopters; nobody imagines themselves clinging desperately to the skids...

The organizational capacity required to build a new world is the same organizational capacity have Lefties built to pressure government. So who’s in a better position to shape the big moment when it comes?  Hell, if tomorrow civilization goes completely Mad Max: who’s got existing local networks of people who they’re used to turning out and doing stuff with on a regular basis?

Answer to both questions: not the Right.

Passivists say activism accomplishes nothing. What it actually accomplishes is practice.  Practice for networking, practice for turnout, practice for speed, practice working as a team. Anybody who’s ever tried to get five people together for dinner knows it’s a pain, but look at the airport protests after the travel ban, and see how many people the hard Left can turn out on next to no notice.  Say the balloon were to suddenly go up: forget having a detailed and specific plan; in that first five minutes, do you — not some veterans’ network you’re hoping will salvage things, not some imaginary Great Man; specifically you — even know who you’re going to call?

The Lefties do. And that’s why righties who say the Right has nothing to learn from the Left are wrong. That’s because righties don’t read lefty books. I read lefty books and organizational manuals, and I can tell you: they’re smart. Accordingly, righties face two major challenges: building things, and understanding the strengths, weaknesses, and tactics of their Lefty opposition.  Righties won’t do the same things as the Left, or do them in the same ways, but that doesn’t mean the Lefties don’t have lessons we can learn.

The first thing righties have to understand about Lefties is that lefties have a lot more practice building their own institutions, and assuming control of existing institutions, than their counterparts on the right do, and they share their practical experience with each other. Righties who like to build churches will build a church and worship in it. Lefties who like to build churches will build a church, write a book telling people how to build churches, go out and convince people church-building is the thing to do, run workshops on how to finance, build, and register churches, and then they’ll offer to arrange church guest speakers who’ll come preach the Lefty line.

Righties need to do a better job of teaching each other.  And not just teaching the right-winger closest to them. The most organized groups on the Right are the pro-life and RKBA activists; everybody else on the Right should be learning from them.

The second thing to understand about Lefties is how they actually function.  There’s a lot of independence involved. Righties like hierarchy, so often think of the Lefties as taking marching orders from George Soros or whoever in a very hierarchical fashion. Not so much. A lot of left-wing organization is very decentralized, and they negotiate with other lefty groups as to exactly how they’ll do things and time things to not hurt each others’ work, so the labor movement’s march is not derailed by black-bloc window-smashing (see, for example, DIRECT ACTION, L.A. Kauffman’s excellent history of the Left from the 60s on).

The Lefties call that approach “embracing a diversity of tactics,” which, taken to its logical extent, is a weasel-worded way of saying that the lefty mainstream is comfortable with radical leftist violence. People don’t like to talk about this much. But while it’s impossible to imagine, say, an abortion clinic bomber getting a cushy job at an elite university, that’s exactly what happened to a number of alumni of the 1970s leftist terror group known as the Weather Underground. As fugitives, they were financially and operationally supported by members of the National Lawyers’ Guild; afterward, they were so normalized that the 9/11 issue of The New York Times infamously ran a profile lauding Weatherman alumnus Bill Ayres.  By contrast, right-wing terrorist Eric Rudolph’s fugitive days were spent hiding in the wilderness because no one would help him. He was caught literally dumpster-diving for food. Potential right-wing extremists face opportunity costs that their left-wing counterparts do not.

Righties frequently make allegations of paid protestors when Lefties get a bunch of people together. Again, that’s not how it works. Think of Lefty protests as being like a Grateful Dead concert.  People absolutely got paid at a Grateful Dead concert: the band got paid, and the roadies got paid. But the Deadheads who followed the band around didn’t get paid.  They weren’t roadies, they weren’t the band; they were there because they loved the music.

Lefties are excellent at protests, not because they pay seat-fillers, but because they’ve professionalized organizing them, as you’ll discover if you read any of their books. The protestors aren’t paid.  The organizers are paid.  The people who train the organizers and protestors are paid. Basically, the way the Lefty protest movement works is sort of like if the Koch brothers subsidized prepping and firearms classes.

Left-wingers have a combination of centralized and decentralized infrastructure, because they have different kinds of groups.  Some groups use centralized organization: they’ll go out tabling, recruit people, trying to grow big.  Other groups, particularly anarchists, favor a decentralized approach, where actions are performed by the collaborative actions of multiple small cells called affinity groups.

The affinity group structure began in Spain: anarchists there organized themselves into small groups of very close friends who knew each other very well, because such small groups were difficult to infiltrate.  Even if they were infiltrated, exposing one group wouldn’t blow the whole organization.

The American Left picked up on affinity groups in the late 1960s. They started as a means for organizing protests and turned into a means of organizing movements.  To coordinate, they send members back and forth to spokescouncils.  The idea is to create a very collaborative discussion.  This is partly due to the influence on the modern hard Left by Quaker organizers — if you remember those lengthy Occupy meetings that just went on and on and on, it’s because that’s how decision-making is done in Quaker meetings, and Quaker organizers taught the technique to Lefties in the ’70s anti-nuclear movement. And it spread, because lefties in different movements talk to each other and work together all the time.

By contrast, righty organizations have historically been slow to organize. When they do, right-wing activists tend to stay in their own lanes and not work together, share notes, or reach out to one another’s followers. Think about the mishmash of signs you typically see at a Lefty protest, and then try to remember the last time you saw, say, an RKBA sign at a pro-life rally.  More unfortunately, when righties do become active, they tend to do something like start a blog. Or make a YouTube channel. Or write a magazine article. In short, they become street-corner evangelists.  They tend not to do things in meatspace.

Lefties do the work in the real world. Guess who wins?

The recent Battles of Berkeley have shown that right-wing defense groups can acquit themselves admirably in street-fights, but hard experience has taught Lefties that an all-one-tactic mentality is a good way to give your opponents time to figure out how to counter you. If righties going to build things, they need to look at how the lefties are doing it, because they’ve been working on it for forty years. To paraphrase Trotsky, you may not be interested in politics, but politics are interested in you — and you can learn a lot from the people who’ve been working them to their advantage.”

This is the reality check we need.

Most American Patriots think there are only two available modes: vote harder or start shooting.

In reality we have seen how powerful political action can be, especially with thousands of unarmed people who aren't afraid to knock down a few bad cops. (Australian hulk as an example recently)

1
Tokyo20DrinkingGame 1 point ago +1 / -0

The tactics that Aussie Hulk used were amazing; he was well-prepared and executed in a really precise way. However, I can't help but look at the missed opportunity to remove some of the tyrannical police from the force, if not the gene pool altogether.

Sure, they got roughed up a bit, but none sustained any injuries that would have prevented them from returning to do the same thing the very next day. Knocking down a few bad cops is nice to say, but with our militaristic cops here in the U.S., we're going to need to do a lot more to physically remove them from service. And when their friends start going home with significant injuries or in body bags, maybe some of the "just doing my job" ones will quit.

u/Chopblock, please turn these info posts of yours into a Gitlab repository

4
Chopblock 4 points ago +4 / -0

But I despise Gitlab

4
julianleroux 4 points ago +4 / -0

Why, out of interest?

What alternative would you recommend?

10
Chopblock 10 points ago +10 / -0

They are part of the Embrace, Extend, Extinguish strategy of “walled gardens” that are more akin to hog-traps.

Free and open source, locally-hosted, anonymous and self-contained non-proprietary software and hardware is the only model that protects users’ security, privacy, and capability— and helps safeguard freedom of speech, competition, and development progress.

I know Gitlab has a local version and is open source — they’re still in the embrace phase. They also just filed for an IPO, and they currently run at a yearly loss.

4
julianleroux 4 points ago +4 / -0

OK but the underlying GitLab technology is open source.

So what alternative privately-hosted code publishing platform would you recommend?

9

rocco_saint 11 points ago +11 / -0

I always wondered why there wasn't a subsection of this site that was dedicated to a repository for information like this. Given what the mods have already done, this seems like it would be a no brainer to add. Kinda falls into the building a competing maga themed market.

1
julianleroux 1 point ago +1 / -0

Be that as it may, if Gitlab removes the public Git repository, there will still be many distributed copies available to restart from where you left off. That's still better than unversioned, unorganized pastebins or whatever, wouldn't you say?

1
Chopblock 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’m not opposed to Git, the distributed version control system created by Linus Torvalds. But everyone handing their data to these repositories is like everyone handing their photos to Apple, Google, and Facebook. The problem ISN’T just that they’ll steal grandma’s recipes.

1
julianleroux 1 point ago +1 / -0

But everyone handing their data to these repositories is like everyone handing their photos to Apple, Google, and Facebook.

Is it, though? Here we're talking about information that (I presume) you want to be widely available, effective, and accurate - much like open-source code. The latter is personal data, intended to be more private.

1
Patriots_dont_kneel 1 point ago +1 / -0

It seems like you destroyed your own argument there, fren. Btw there are plenty of gitlab-based sites if you for some reason don't like the site itself.

1
Chopblock 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes, it seems like I did...

Makes you wonder, am I really that stupid, or is there something more to it that I’m not writing 20 paragraphs to explain the details, but presumptively mentioning a common counter argument as a signal that yes, I’m already familiar with this reply...

I posted a link to other git-based installations. Under the current environment, these don’t “solve” the larger issue (except that portion they DO solve for their immediate user) — like Facebook or ‘App Stores’, or “CRT”, network effect and market-distortion means widespread adoption by lazy conformists eventually drags the rest of us into the abyss along with them.

1
Patriots_dont_kneel 1 point ago +1 / -0

So you're telling me that every other GitHub alternative from some random list someone threw together is better, but can't even provide a single reason why this is the case? Sorry, I don't buy it.

I think large, centralized protests are not the right approach. It is far too easy for a small number of opponents (ANTIFA or Feds) to manipulate the event and then have it misrepresented by the media.

Smaller, widespread action targeting municipal and state governments is likely a better approach. Impact the federal government by becoming active in the primary process, become an election worker, and ensure a high turnout from people who think like you.

8
befehlistbefehl 8 points ago +10 / -2

I think large, centralized protests are not the right approach.

They aren't, but not for the reason usually given. Protests are not for changing the minds of the slave drivers, but for motivating ourselves. What large protests do is boost the morale of our side by showing that we're not gonna be alone, that there are a great number of people on our side and that care enough to get off the couch.

It is far too easy for a small number of opponents (ANTIFA or Feds) to manipulate the event and then have it misrepresented by the media.

That will happen anyways. The smaller the protest, the easier it is to manipulate and misrepresent it.

Smaller, widespread action targeting municipal and state governments is likely a better approach.

Agree on that. It's definitely easier to fight on your home turf than on their home field, especially when their field is thousands of miles away.

2
Tokyo20DrinkingGame 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think that we could learn a thing or two from Occupy/Antifa/BLM. Protests in lots of cities at the same time, generating a lot of attention from a bunch of local news stations rather than just chasing the national news ones in DC. Learning how to network with friendlies and carry out smaller tasks, even if that means disrupting roads, supply chains, and/or targeting a specific area for destruction. Basically, study their playbook the same way one quarterback studies film of another quarterback who upset a difficult opponent.

They’ll just switch to different data center in a different country and nobody would notice. Now if we really wanted to hit them where it hurts, we could create a China-style firewall that blocks or redirects their dns traffic. This is the thing that keeps Jack Dorsey up at night because it would cause such a disruption to Twitter that the service would be unusable and everyone would switch to something like gab if it’s more accessible.

We could start small, create a personal MAGA firewall app and if we can get enough support, roll it out at a state level. Florida seems on board. Fuck censorship but if they want to censor us, we can censor them back.

4

We need to decide on a RED LINE. If crossed, guns go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

23
snakeoil 23 points ago +23 / -0

A simple red x spray painted on a building is non violent but suggests pretty much anything to the offenders imagination. I believe this should be done to all businesses requiring the clot shot. It's a warning shot. Still non violent.

They have known for years that the conservatives have been whipped into submission by being meek and thinking that knowing they are right by pointing fingers at the wrongs works. Writing stern letters DOES NOT WORK.

Then Jan 6 happened. And it took antifa infiltrating a bunch of meek people waving tiny flags to scare them . Suddenly it is holy shit maybe they didn't do violence but those meek people followed them in yelling and screaming. KEEP THEM AFRAID. But most of all. We need a leader. Someone who will lead us by direction not by innuendo and vagueness.

4
KILLARY4PRISON 4 points ago +4 / -0

There's not going to be some grand leader. It must be small, decentralized, groups of friends coordinating with other small groups of friends doing highly effective acts of civil disobedience.

1
ConservativeTeacher 1 point ago +1 / -0

Don't need any of that shit. You'll just be rounded up on the spot or later after the face recognition database spits your fat ass up as a domestic terrorist, and every non-leftist you know is labeled a collaborator by association. Decide on a RED LINE. Inform the nation of the RED LINE. If crossed, it's GO time--everyone, on both sides, understand clearly.

1
Patriots_dont_kneel 1 point ago +1 / -0

There have been dozens of red lines we have set, all of them got crossed and nothing happened. Remember when election stealing was a red line? What makes you think the next one will be any different?

1
ConservativeTeacher 1 point ago +1 / -0

IT needs to be a Declaration, like our original one. IN writing. Signed by hand. then the other side can't say they had no idea. The way we do it now is just outrage at every daily headline. They'll send a letter like "If you do anything, you are then double secret domestic terrorists." Then we respond like the infamous Spartan one word letter "If..."

I admire the primary poster as well as all the positive commenters. This from a person in CA who resigned their voter registration on Nov. 4. One item I did not find in the posts is the role of lawyers and lawyering in this country. Mediocre lawyers go into the public sector, talented lawyers go private for money, power and accomplishment. Look at the DA in Missouri vs the two tort attorneys she tried to prosecute for gun brandishing. I will bet that the majority of attorneys in government are not only mediocre, but liberal. Our country is literally run by these people. Where are the conservative attorneys? Making tons of money in the private sector.

1
LibertarianXian 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes, I think lawfare and knowledge of the judicial system is a very important aspect of civil resistance, although it's addressed indirectly with talk about precincts and getting involved politically.

Whoever has any significant effect in this fight is a big target for frivolous lawsuits - we've seen this happen with Alex Jones, for example.

Jury nullification is one aspect of this, too. It's our last defense against corrupt judges until we can vote them out. Assuming the voting systems aren't very compromised...

We formed a local non-partisan group along the lines of a county Citizens For Liberty group. We had monthly meetings and invited elected officials to come speak and have lively debate. Most of our guests were genuinely sympathetic with our cause - especially when they learned we weren't asking for anything. We weren't looking for some favored treatment from them - apparently every other group that invited them to speak wanted favors. We simply emphasized Constitutional principles. We held a Constitutional Sheriff workshop in conjunction with CSPOA. We invited sheriffs from all over the state. Our sheriff didn't agree with everything. But I'm certain he sees us as a Libertarian group, not his enemies.

Currently drafting up the next series of posts. The plan is to cover every avenue of secession in it's many forms as well as the perils that come with doing so. Peaceful secession has it's hurdles but honestly I'm setting up plan B like it's already set in stone. Preparation for all scenarios is something our side lacks and is one of the reasons we simply sit around waiting for something to happen. The more I write these the more I realize the average person has no clue how secession works. We don't simply show up and draw a line in the sand like we were 6 year olds living in the same bedroom, there's so much more to undo and redo when you try to cut ties with your own. You have to start over, it's a daunting challenge so let me explain it plainly; if you aren't planning the who, what, when, why and how of secession and expecting to just show up with guns and clubs in hand, you will never achieve secession. It took years for America to become independent and after the fact, took years for it to become acknowledged.

When Afghanistan fell, I was genuinely surprised at how fast the Taliban swept what the US gov spent 20 years militarizing with pickups and milsurp. Everyone I know has a pickup and milsurp. How quickly could we sweep the US? Go out, meet your neighbors, start a local movement if you cannot find one to join.

Me too, I knew shit was going to go sour but I thought it'd at least take a few months...

Not a week

But then again, you have take into account that that's the plan--they want an equipped enemy in the ME for perpetual war

Need to utilize the Rules for Radicals a bit. Especially with isolating the target.

Understanding police tactics is important too. Sticking together when numbers are in your favor is a big deal. Antifa and bad cops, take their gear off them and launch it, dump their bags and throw their helmets at their crowd. We took their coats now take their shoes.

If you have a Volunteer Fire Department - that is an excellent way to get involved in your community. Especially if you are new to the area - it's the fastest way to get past the "outsiders" label. I also attended a State Highway Patrol Community Alliance Program. Kind of a get to know your police thing. Pretty cool.

Haven't researched enough, but this looks promising:

https://thebenedictoption.com/

"The Benedict Option is about creating intentional Christian community in a post-Christian world."

The two most important letters are N and O.

Just say NO.

To fraudulent elections and unconstitutional government.

Taking over the local GOP was also effective. It was good practice for learning Robert's Rules of Order. We were able to insert ourselves into the GOP all across the district including sending our delegates to the GOP National Convention. It put us on a first name basis with our state and federal reps and Lt Gov. Organizing the County GOP Lincoln Day Dinner is probably the best way to gain access to your politicians. Every candidate practically begs comes to give their election speechs.

This is why I like 1st and 2nd Amendment Auditors. Ground level optical. Some of them don't even realize the impact that they have. some are just idiots. but mostly is shows the level of tyrannical influence a person with little education or educated in this communist educational system can have.
