these are the people who mask in the shower

25
Torrvarpen 25 points ago +25 / -0

And cut a mouth hole in their mask, so thy can eat without having to pull the mask down.

14
Cliffinati 14 points ago +14 / -0

That's not what the hole in the mask is for.........

18
TommyJarvis 18 points ago +18 / -0

When I see a person alone in their car with a mask on, I point and laugh.

Occasionally they pull their mask down quickly. Those people just forgot.

Mostly they just pretend not to see me.

I did have one older guy flip me off.

2
NPC01001101010000010 2 points ago +2 / -0

I do this too. I usually honk, point and laugh.

16
Swaraj_ 16 points ago +16 / -0

I always keep an extra mask in my shower shorts, just in case.

6
Reefay 6 points ago +6 / -0

Cuffed thrice of course

6
LiteraIIyHitIer 6 points ago +6 / -0

Are you a never-nude?

7
notCIA 7 points ago +7 / -0

These are the people who mask up in public and then go hang out with their friends in private without them, when their beloved CDC said the primary source of transmission was at home, not in public. I noticed they quickly shut up about that after they began discussing pulling people out of their homes and families to quarentine them, guess they figured people would wake up too quickly if that were to happen so early on.

1
I_am_not_a_Robot 1 point ago +1 / -0

Let them waterboard themselves! Getting the mask wet helps collect the virus laden moisture from your breath. Water attracts water after all.

Double mask and be sure to rinse it regularly to enhance it's filtration and capturing properties!

Datamancer 38 points ago +38 / -0

Trust the science, but not the math.

11
Julius_Severus 11 points ago +11 / -0

Math is racist

10
OperationCatSpeed 10 points ago +10 / -0

Is it science or siense? I never can tell as the two are homonyms.

7
Joe_Snow 7 points ago +7 / -0

Psyence

3
ChicomUberAlles 3 points ago +3 / -0

homoPHONE!

The gaynyms are spelled the same.

If a they spelled different but a sound a the same -AH-. its a faggotphone.

2
LivebytheTendies 2 points ago +2 / -0

Faggotnyms

1
RegularAmerican 1 point ago +1 / -0

The left can't traverse

34
OperationCatSpeed 34 points ago +35 / -1

For those who were wondering the diagonal should be just shy of 8.5’

17
DemsFuckKids 17 points ago +17 / -0

Or it should be a 6’ circle

16
OperationCatSpeed 16 points ago +16 / -0

With an arrangement of 4 in a non-staggered stance the diagonal must be 8.5’. If you staggered, everyone would be just within 6’ of each other at multiples of 60 degrees. Although circular is the 2d projection here, in reality, a cylindrical mapping adjusted for waist circumference is more appropriate.

21
Winning_Bigly 21 points ago +21 / -0

You have to remember to do an additional correction for the density liberal skulls that causes a warp in space itself.

15
OperationCatSpeed 15 points ago +15 / -0

Ah yes, I forgot about the reality distortion field. That makes the problem dynamic as liberal statics are undefined except on printed versions of the NYT.

So the diagonal would be

d(t) = sqrt(2*(w+6’)^2*RDF(t,l))

Where

  • d is the diagonal
  • t is time
  • w is waist circumference
  • RDF is reality distortion field in units of REE
  • l is liberal scull density
13
womp-womp-twice 13 points ago +13 / -0

impressive maffs

6
SupremeDearLeader2 6 points ago +6 / -0

So w= 1 Jerry nadler belt size ?

6
H335 6 points ago +6 / -0

So w= 1 Jerry nadler belt size ?

Wouldn't that make w = J(n) = M☉ ? (One solar mass unit)

3
OperationCatSpeed 3 points ago +3 / -0

Precisely. Although for the Nadler adjustment in the Ratio of Exacerbating Energy (REE) is not to be confused with the diaper coefficient.

9
notCIA 9 points ago +9 / -0

That 6' distancing rule was actually developed based on the diameter of their event horizon. Turns out it actually was for our safety all along, just not for the reasons they said.

8
ModernKnight 8 points ago +8 / -0

As these are lefties, you also have to take into account that the diameter at the waist is at least 3 feet, so that 8.5' needs to be measured from closest edge to closest edge. Now, for a more advanced calculation, we need to calculate the gravitational pull of the four ham planets exert upon each other.

3
CamTasty 3 points ago +3 / -0

HA! NERD! /s

11
reagan2024 11 points ago +11 / -0

8.5' = 6 feef

2
iaintgottimetobleed 2 points ago +3 / -1

8.5' is racist.

0
bakahed 0 points ago +2 / -2

Just square root of 2 times the length of a side of the square. Comes up to around 7.2

5
kjj9 5 points ago +5 / -0

square root of the sum of the squares of the sides.

4
MyDadLikedBiden 4 points ago +4 / -0

You’re both right, except for the arithmetic, when the sides are the same.

Square each side: (side)²

Add up two of them: (side)² × 2

Take the square root: √((side)² × 2)

= √(side)² × √2

= side × √2

It’s about 8.5 feet because the sides are 6 feet, not 5 which is where you got 7.2.

2
kjj9 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't think he started with 5 - that would have come out to 7.07168... instead of 7.2.

I've been trying to reverse engineer his 7.2 result, and I've got nothing. Since he didn't show his work, we may never know where that computation went off the rails.

2
bakahed 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ah yeah my bad I forgot what a square root of 2 is

1
boreal_storm 1 point ago +1 / -0

Scarecrow confirms.

1
bakahed 1 point ago +1 / -0

Bruh this is a square. Sides are the same. Therefore d=a * sqrt(2)

1
OperationCatSpeed 1 point ago +1 / -0

c^2 = a^2 + b^2 = 6’^2 * 6’^2 = 2*(6’^2) = 72

c = sqrt(72) = sqrt(4*9*2) = 2*3*sqrt(2)=6*sqrt(2)

1
1
OperationCatSpeed 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fail to see what you’re saying here?

c = 6’*sqrt(2) ~= 6’*1.4142’ ~=8.49’ ~= 8.5’

Not 7.2’ as you had suggested. I think you made an error somewhere is what I’m trying to show.

31
whataboob 31 points ago +31 / -0

Yeah, except Neil de Grasse Tyson is an unintelligent dork.

10
VinCarver 10 points ago +10 / -0

It makes sense he’d try and hold him back, if he knew any better he’d be pissed too

6
16BeatsAOne 6 points ago +6 / -0

. . . who always wears the same celestial vest.

2
Aries_cz 2 points ago +2 / -0

I mean, branding is pretty big thing.

Just like Trump always has his hair done is a specific way, Steve Jobs wore black turtlenecks and thin rimmed glasses, NDGT is wearing a celestial-themed vest (pretty sure he has at least two kinds)

5
sackofwisdom 5 points ago +5 / -0

I've been connecting some dots on Neil. I think he's a Mason, or at least handled by Masons:

TruthSmash 5 points ago +6 / -1

Neil de Grasse Tyson: I amend an insufferable unintelligent dork.

15
Buck_Fiden 15 points ago +15 / -0

I don't need Bobby Fischer to tell me that viruses can't move sideways.

9
Julius_Severus 9 points ago +9 / -0

A lot of people could use Bobby Fischer to teach them a few things about other subjects

1
14DaysToFlatten 1 point ago +1 / -0

Hey now

13
u53rnam3 13 points ago +13 / -0

Kek. Try around 8.485 for the diagonal.

6
OperationCatSpeed 6 points ago +6 / -0

6*sqrt(2)

12
rubberkidney 12 points ago +12 / -0

i get why pythagoras and steven hawking are there what with their 'contributions to science' but why is hack fraud ndt there?

10
TommyJarvis 10 points ago +10 / -0

Science black man because otherwise you WAYSICT!!

7
Buck_Fiden 7 points ago +7 / -0

I would like to compliment that comment, but... politeness is a crime on par with punctuality.

6
JoseyMontana 6 points ago +6 / -0

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

5
RedCat 5 points ago +5 / -0

bigot!

1

No ur the REAL rayciss!

6
HaveAnUpvote 6 points ago +7 / -1

Clearly they are required arrange themselves in tetrahedrons.

4
OperationCatSpeed 4 points ago +4 / -0

Well if you take a 6 foot sphere as being the lower limit of a safe manifold, a distance of 8,5’ is appropriate for the diagonals.

6
user365927285937 6 points ago +6 / -0

Holy crap the stupidity

Duh hypotenuse is 8.4 ft.

2
sir_rockness 2 points ago +2 / -0

So tell me what sort of mask do I need while riding my motorcycle with my gay biker gang? You know... jic our lead faggot coughs into the air and I perchance run through the noxious cloud?

2
djt808 2 points ago +2 / -0

Pythagoras was definitely a racist

2
gaijin_ronin 2 points ago +2 / -0

The Hawk -( Rips off the Mask) Beep Boop Look it's Common Core!

Common Core - I would have gotten away with it too, if not for you meddling kids and those damn formulas!

2
GarudaDarkblack 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm sure their inability to recognize 4th grade geometry in no way impairs their ability to properly interpret scientific data and make appropriate policy from it.

2
MetaRazz 2 points ago +2 / -0

It might work... It really depends on how long a feef is. If 1 feef = 0 feet, then it works, but the bottom 2 guys would literally have to be on top of one another... :-)

2
CamTasty 2 points ago +2 / -0

Lol I'll be 'this guy', but I actually had to take a second to remember 10th grade math just to get a meme. Kudos

2
sustainable_saltmine 2 points ago +2 / -0

6ft, 3ft, 12 ft what does it matter? it's all pseudoscience bullshit thought up by some high school kid back in the mid-2000s.

2
bemac 2 points ago +2 / -0

FEEF's!!!!

2
lucifer_fit_deus 2 points ago +2 / -0

Clearly the picture is a 2D isometric projection of people arranged as the four vertices in a tetrahedron.

Duh!

1
Sansa_Belt 1 point ago +1 / -0

Mr Hypotenuse enters the conversation.

1
NucaCola 1 point ago +1 / -0

“6 feef”?

The sad state of our schools…. makes my eyes bleed

1
2016TrumpMAGA 1 point ago +1 / -0

Whats' sad is that half the people here won't get it.

1
GookFlu 1 point ago +1 / -0

NDT is a fagget, needs a real physicist shopped over his stupid mug.

1
doug2 1 point ago +1 / -0

It should say "at least, then the sign makes sense.

Except for the absurd premise it's based upon.

1
GreatHumungous 1 point ago +1 / -0

They can’t even get the math right and it’s been a while for me but if 4 people are standing in a square 6 feet apart, the distance between the opposite corners is like 8 feet not 6.
