Not ideal but that's just words possibly designed to put leverage on virtue signalers.

This is a guy who has literally stood and talked for hours to block shitty legislation. I'll put it this way, if more were like him, it would be a better place.

15
TheMoreYouKnowOkay 15 points ago +17 / -2

If congress was only guys like him, we'd probably have few if any problems from congress. He's the kind of guy who is terrific if everyone plays fair. Unfortunately that's not the case though.

He was trying to cash in on the left's own desires to get it passed. It was pretty smart.

7
JuliusEvola 7 points ago +10 / -3

I don't like us shitting on the left's misguided virtue signaling whilst leveraging it.

Right is right and wrong is wrong. But the bill itself I agreed with. Our best politicians are a mixed bag.

Scalise, Paul, Hawley, MTG, Boebert, Gaetz, Gohmer, Gossart... These people are basically America's best chance against the New World Order in the government sector. Encourage them to become bolder instead of tearing them down.

People like Lindsey Graham, Confiscation Crenshaw, Mitt Romney, Kris Krisite... They deserve nothing but fire until they repent and say Trump Won or at least enforce existing laws to investigate all the elections crimes/communism/tyrannical lockdowns etc. Until then they're nothing but a bunch of sellout traitors who've signed onto the Great Reset.

He’s not the enemy per say, but he’s what I like to call a compromised countrymen/paper patriot. He’s his own worst enemy due to his refusal in the past to acknowledge, and live in reality, and because of this along with his position he has fucked us all over in the long run. It’s caused irreparable damage. It’s too little too late for him IMHO. There’s only one thing he could ever do to make up for his past mistakes, and win me back over, and I know that’ll never happen especially after seeing what he allowed his neighbor to do to him, and witnessing his reaction to violent Bolsheviks who swarmed him and his wife when leaving the capitol

When it causes more destruction to the country, and wesciv it’s not smart politics. It’s caving to Bolshevik lies, and subversions which has, and continues to cause irreparable damage. If it isn’t apparent to both him, and you by now, playing politics with them is nothing more than negotiating with terrorists while submitting to the Bolshevik agenda. WAKE UP!!!

He’s not the enemy per say, but he’s what I like to call a compromised countrymen/paper patriot. 0
Africanus 0 points ago +1 / -1

No one is arguing he should play politics with communists - but he didn't. He named an important bill to potentially gain public support and political support, which helps get that important bill passed.

What a lot of ya'll fail to realize is that no matter where we end up, it's still going to be important to engage in smart politicking.

Internal politics took place in WWII on the allies side, it took place during the Civil War, it took place during the Revolution. It's human nature.

2
BlackPillBot 2 points ago +3 / -1

This man gets it. I don’t understand why people are pretending like he did one questionable thing and we turned on him. He has shown a pattern of very bad, and irreparable decisions, and it all stems from him refusing to open his eyes. I honestly think it’s cause he’s afraid to admit the truth. He knows it deep down inside. I just wish he stop doing stupid shit and negotiating with terrorists.

He likes to talk like one. Wasn't much of a hero when he voted to certify fraud on Jan 6th?

27
potbelliedgoblino 27 points ago +33 / -6

No one knows better than Rand Paul what the uniparty is. Anyone who actually thought the election was gonna be reversed on Jan 6 doesn't have a clue about our govt. You think a handful of Senators, 98-99 of which are uniparty scum, were going to convince the entire federal govt, the majority of state govts (all of the swing state govts), and their media apparatus to give up on their plot? It was grasping for a singular straw in a maelstrom. There was nothing anybody could do because anybody that cared is less than 1% of the govt. Yall don't understand the monster you were trying to defeat with petty procedure. Since then, Rand has been the driving force to uncover Fauci gain-of-function research that turned the bat "theory" on its head, even in the MSM. Know who your allies are because we have almost 0.

11
patR1OT 11 points ago +18 / -7

Then why didn't he just stand for what is right, even if it wouldn't have mattered? At least he could say he tried. If everyone just assumes it will be certified, even though they don't agree, but then vote to certify it anyway just because they think everyone else is, they are creating a self-fulfilling prophecy.

8
HeavyMetalPatriot 8 points ago +10 / -2

Standing for what is right always matters and Rand Paul should have known that. You never kowtow to evil.

5

They cannot arrest all of us

This is why they are attempting to limit travel, the ability to work, etc. and to get the unvaccinated number as low as possible, only so much space in the camps once they go full authoritarian.

3

NewUser101 27 points ago +28 / -1

It works. It worked for the civil rights movement. It'll be even more effective as we are the overwhelming majority - nobody really believes the fraudulent numbers from 2020 - and we own or operate virtually everything.

If we walk out they can arrest some (not many) of us. But they can't fix or run what we were doing. Keeping the lights on, growing food, maintaining utilities, shipping things for just in time stocking. Society would grind to a halt. Cities would destroy themselves.

Who is John Galt? Maybe it's time to find him.

17
OrangeElvis 17 points ago +17 / -0

Controlling the MSM is powerful, but - fortunately for us - two things have largely defused this advantage for the Swamp:

  1. alternative media outlets are legion. "You can't stop the signal" and...

  2. Trump inoculated vast swaths of the country to "fake news" for four years.

2
deleted 2 points ago +5 / -3
2
BlackPillBot 2 points ago +2 / -0

It only “worked” for the “civil rights movement” because it was designed, and backed by the Bolshevik government, and media. I’d also like to point out that the country never recovered from it. It was part of the long game, and we’re now seeing the full on fruits of their labor/patience. I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again. There is only one thing worse than forced segregation, and that’s forced integration. The proof is in the pudding, and can no longer be denied. Unfortunately some will still do their damndest to ignore and deny it. 😞

Rand Paul and his staff can refuse to comply and they still keep their jobs. A general strike will work. Threats of a general strike that never materialize are worse than worthless. When Rand Paul resigns and calls on other members of Congress to resign, and they follow his lead, then I'll listen to him.

These calls to action ring hollow. There are dozens of people still languishing in prison from the call to action on January 6, but Trump and Paul aren't among them. Trump sure encouraged them. Then he left them behind. We all left them behind. Puffing out our chests on this partisan website about their plight does jack shit for our fellow soldiers.

Do it, or shut up. If Trump's our leader, let him lead us into action. I can't move to Florida with the ease Donald Trump can. He escaped New York. We're still stuck here. Don't think that because you live in a free state, tyranny won't reappear. Don't think you are immune because it's happening somewhere else. Telling people who live in slave states to move isn't the answer. Most people can't leave their lives behind like that. And when patriots leave a slave state, all it does is make that state that much more oppressive. And the stronger their hold in New York, the better they can deal with the opposition in the free states.

I'm all for positive thinking, but this isn't positive thinking. It's delusion. We talk and talk and things get materially worse. The oppression gets worse.

You want to show you got what it takes -- quit your job wherever you are. Refuse to work until all Americans are free from this tyranny. No? Didn't think so.

I'm sick of the false bravado.

I said nothing to anyone...I just didn't put on my mask.

No one said a word to me about it.

One woman and one man each took off their masks -- inspired by my smile I guess.
