I've got a pickup with a high capacity tank. I live in Washington State. The other day I went to fill it up but I had to run my card twice because the gas station won't sell more than $100 of gas in one transaction.

Under Trump it was about $60

61
realPhantomFuck 61 points ago +61 / -0

$1.89/gal with Mean Tweets

$3.79/gal with Resident

Transgirl_4_Trump 37 points ago +39 / -2

I've got a friend who voted Biden. The other day she texted me complaining about the gas prices. I responded: "Yea, it sucks, but at least there aren't anymore mean tweets."

She understood what I meant immediately, got mad, and started lecturing me about how not everything is politics. My GIF reply:

I agree that "not everything is politics," but a surge in the price of gas immediately after "electing" a president who took direct action with the specific intent of crippling the oil and natural gas industry is, well, definitely politics.

AmazinKrackin2 21 points ago +21 / -0

Biden's goal is to destroy America as fast as he can while he is alive. He is a tool of Obama and the Deep State. A complete clown and everyone knows it but the Democrats own all the levers of power and they will never give it up. Their goal is to extend covid up until at least 2022 and more likely 2024 and steal more elections with mail in voting and Dominion. Republicans don't care and won't stand up so these are very dangerous times in America.

Dedcatsk8r 4 points ago +4 / -0

Fuck around fuck around fuck atound and find out! Theres about to be some really pissed old guys out there fixing problems

24
p1smo 24 points ago +24 / -0

not everything is politics

Kinda hard to focus on the 'bigger picture' when you're struggling to pay for the cost of basic fucking goods.

13
SteelDriver 13 points ago +13 / -0

Hey, the Obamas made politics "cool" to try and engage younger voters. That made politics spread into everything. Now everything is about politics. We're just traversing yet another road the left paved without forethought (or, perhaps, they expected they would never lose again, just as their propagandists tell them every time they win).

15
Seadan 15 points ago +15 / -0

What brings me a small amount of satisfaction is that the baristas and college students that voted for Joe are impacted by his crap policies more than I am. $4 a gallon gas hurts far more when you make $15 an hour. Same with cost of goods and all of the other expenses that came with Biden. While annoying, at the end of the day paying a couple hundred dollars more a month more doesn't materially impact my life. I feel bad for those that didn't vote that way and are struggling because of it.

11
SteelDriver 11 points ago +11 / -0

I wonder if the baristas and college students have enough awareness to place the blame where it belongs, rather than on "big oil".

Maybe the Dems should put some of their $3.5T "infrastructure" bill into actual infrastructure and reopen the oil pipelines (and maybe even, gasp, build new ones or even -crazy talk time- build a few nuclear power plants :D). Sorry, I'm rambling again. You are right on about the gas price not hurting the higher earners. Back in the early 00s when gas got expensive, I was making much less money and it hurt badly. Now, it sucks, but I just shrug, let out a few "Fuck Joe Bidens," pay the money, and move on.

5
NotDangerousGame 5 points ago +5 / -0

Those baristas and college students who voted potato do not own a vehicle. They live in trendy big cities and ride the bus to and from their two bedroom apartment they share with six other people.

1
FireannDireach 1 point ago +1 / -0

LOL. You wish that were true. Nobody rides the bus. C'mon. They're all working at Starbucks, but they have new-ish cars and the latest iPhones. Paid for by Mommy and Daddy. Even in NYC nobody really rides busses, they use the subway. In SF they ride BART. Most kids live in Brooklyn or the outer burroughs and ride the train or subway in. I know too many liberals, even in my own extended family, who are subsidizing their kid's lifestyles and paying rent, car payments, and phone accounts. I know someone I work with who's been dipping into their retirement account to pay for their kid - people have been telling her for a while the penalties are dumb and you don't cash out 401ks unless it's a dire emergency, but she just blames it on Trump ruining the economy, or some useless bullshit like that. Her daughter has everything, and works part time at some retail job, but has her own apartment, car, and all the goodies. This woman is moaning about how expensive Xmas is gonna be, and was talking about a loan to cover it all.

1
NotDangerousGame 1 point ago +1 / -0

So, in other words, they don't incur the cost of owning a vehicle, which was my point.

1
Taupkek 1 point ago +1 / -0

I dont feel bad for anyone who voted for Biden.

2
AmazinKrackin2 2 points ago +2 / -0

Obama is behind this Build Back Better takeover and nobody can stop his tyranny. Pedo Joe is just a guy in a suit but lurking in the shadows is true evil, Obama

3
NateBedfordForrest 3 points ago +3 / -0

6uild6ack6etter?

There i fixed it.

1
AmazinKrackin2 1 point ago +1 / -0

Do you think they factored the 666 into BBB and who first coined that term, Schwab or Obama? Thanks

1
NateBedfordForrest 1 point ago +1 / -0

Schwab is really a Rothschild.

Obama seems to be the antichrist at this point...

So i dont know or care.

Just remember that you will own nothing and be happy.

5
HeavyMetalPatriot 5 points ago +5 / -0

I've got a friend who voted Biden.

FYI, in every communist revolution, dissenters are betrayed by friends and families who allied with the communists. Every communist revolution. Every single one. And very few of those betrayed survived what came next.

2
Transgirl_4_Trump 2 points ago +3 / -1

Thanks for the warning, pede.

In my case, it's kinda like warning someone tied to a railway track that it's tornado season, but I appreciate the sentiment. See name.

2
loric4882 2 points ago +2 / -0

Welcome, fren

2
MasklessMarvel 2 points ago +2 / -0

and after all the dissidents are gone, they turn on their supporters

they don't want rebels running around

2
imnotdeadyet 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nice. They just can't say "I fucked up" and move on. They have to keep making themselves look foolish trying to defend that of which were just bitching about.

3
CeruleanShadow 3 points ago +3 / -0

I'll take "Mean Tweets" for $500.00, Alex.

Oh, for some real leadership.

2
QLARP 2 points ago +2 / -0

What state is that?

1
deplorable-d00d 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not California!

This is last month - still this high now -

2
EveryDayPatriot 2 points ago +2 / -0

Seems the elites wanted the gap closed between regular gas and premium. Under obama it was a 30¢ gap, under Trump it was almost a dolllar difference. Under brandon... Here we are

1
PB_Mack 1 point ago +1 / -0

When my daughter got her car, gas was 1.56 a gallon here. Now it's 2.79. It costs her twice as much to fill her tank as it did a year ago. She's not very liberal anymore. Kind of got that "convert" zeal now and listens to a lot of right leaning podcasts and shows.

11
navycuda 11 points ago +11 / -0

My turbo diesel… under Trump, $60. Last fill up, $110

1
QLARP 1 point ago +2 / -1

I doubt it was $60 in summer 2018 and summer 2019. Summer driving surge prices had them at 2.89 and 2.99

3
navycuda 3 points ago +3 / -0

Was $0.84/L or close to it in november 2020, last full up was $1.42/L

1
Jmadness 1 point ago +1 / -0

/L? Where you at?

1
navycuda 1 point ago +1 / -0

Great White North

1
Jmadness 1 point ago +1 / -0

What's crazy the rest of the world being on metric system and we arent here blows my mind that practically the next door neighbor is in metric when my brain want to understand you must be on the other side of the planet lol.

1
navycuda 1 point ago +1 / -0

The really funny part? You guys are on a bastardized metric system. Inches, miles, pounds, etc, are all defined by their metric equivalent!

5
SteelDriver 5 points ago +5 / -0

My F150 holds about 35 gallons between 2 tanks. My last fillup was the most I've spent since the heady days of Obama, at over $60 (I don't let it get too empty; it hurts to pay that much at once :D).

2
cpt_majestic2 2 points ago +2 / -0

Like wise, my gas station upped the cap to 150.00 now just because of this

31
MythArcana 31 points ago +31 / -0

FUCK JOE BIDEN

21
WestCoastG 21 points ago +21 / -0

Shit, im in CA and that's cheap.

13
anon9361 13 points ago +13 / -0

Yea I’m paying 5.09/gal right now.

6
RegularAmerican 6 points ago +6 / -0

Dang! You serious? Ive been driving around So Cal last week (LA). Most places have regular 87 for under 4.50. a local Arco is 4.09 right now. But I'd rather drive to Costco and wait in line a little for 3.80 a gallon

4
HeavyMetalPatriot 4 points ago +4 / -0

Local Arco was $4.69 for regular last week in the Bay Area. I paid $4.89 for premium and that was better than the $5.09 I had been seeing at most places.

4
RegularAmerican 4 points ago +4 / -0

Wow I didn't know the Bay Area had it worse than L.A. I'm really far from the city I'm in the outskirts of the county. Close to the National forest.

5
67Vert 5 points ago +5 / -0

No. It's fucking outrageous. And CA is even more fucked

3
tiamat 3 points ago +3 / -0

2.95 ish where I am and I still think it's too high

1
MakeCaliRedAgain_202 1 point ago +1 / -0

I think if I asked you to snail mail me 15 gallons it would be cheaper than buying it here in SoCal.

19
Brucesky420 19 points ago +22 / -3

Stop. If you're chanting it in a crowd at a sports game, have at it

But if you're going out of your way to not name Biden, you're a faggot. Straight up. Might as well let superman peg you at that point.

Sorry but I'm not a loser who is afraid to name the fraudulent president actively ruining this country.

Fuck. Joe. Biden.

11
HeavyMetalPatriot 11 points ago +11 / -0

I agree, but the Let's Go Brandon meme is important as its got two flavors of redpill. Once normies understand it's both Fuck Joe Biden and an obvious example of Fake News in action, it might wake some people up and galvanize others.

5
Deadpoolnormiefan271 5 points ago +6 / -1

This all of this.

5
9x10again 5 points ago +5 / -0

Take a pill.

3
Big_Sam_Handwich 3 points ago +3 / -0

Honestly, I thought "Lets Go Brandon" is funnier.

Only the cool kids know what it means. For the tards, it flies over their heads. They wouldnt be receptive to "fuck joe Biden" anyhow.

16
half-blacktrump 16 points ago +16 / -0

You misspelled FUCK JOE BIDEN

14
Axiom502 14 points ago +15 / -1

Do you think the patriots in the 1770s just went around saying "Fuck King George" or did they do something about it

22
HeadHoncho 22 points ago +22 / -0

To be fair, I think they went around saying "Fuck King George" for several years before building enough consensus to realize they could do something about it and maybe even succeed.

That is why talk is so important, and why they work so hard to stop it.

They aren't scared of empty words. They are scared of what they become over time.

7
HeavyMetalPatriot 7 points ago +7 / -0

This is historically accurate. The Romanians didn't throw off communism suddenly one day for no reason either. Humans must interact with each other in person to develop consensus, trust and organization.

4
Big_Sam_Handwich 4 points ago +4 / -0

"Rum in their guts and fire in their eyes" Samuel Adams. Build up steam first...then wheels start turning.

6
ObamasLooseButthole 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yes?

They went around saying fuck King George for a long time.

4
CanadianFren 4 points ago +5 / -1

I don't think they got psyop'd into censoring themselves either

3
MasklessMarvel 3 points ago +3 / -0

you may have heard such phrases as "no taxation without representation"

political cartoons, catch phrases and (now) memes are hugely important in the culture war

people get the message without any effort

its the same thing Trump did with his tweets

9
hillaryforprison 9 points ago +9 / -0

$6/gal on Coronado island in San Diego. Let's go Brandon!

1
MakeCaliRedAgain_202 1 point ago +1 / -0

Holy shit! Come to East county to fill up at that point.

8
GenadderallPatton 8 points ago +8 / -0

Brandon Did That

5
TheRealJoeXiden 5 points ago +5 / -0

“F So & So”

6
CeruleanShadow 6 points ago +6 / -0

Try this on for size.

I filled up my Toyota Yaris one quarter (from 1/4 to full). In NZ, 91 octane (the lowest grade), depending on where you buy ranges from $2.39/litre to $2.50/litre. There are roughly four litres to a gallon, so I filled up with just over three, due to how high prices are, at the moment.

98 octane (highest grade), is closer to $2.80/litre.

I paid $28.50, whereas $20.00 would have previously just left me under "F". Per gallon, we pay about $8-10, and yes, thanks to our useless government, and the insane taxes they pile onto gas plus inflation, this is what it comes to.

Only way people will get rid of this useless Government is when it hits them in the pocket.

2
Jmadness 2 points ago +2 / -0

Holy crap math lesson. Thanks for the conversion to understand. Do your cars run better on miles per litre or something or does it burn about the same amount of gas as ours would?

1
MasklessMarvel 1 point ago +1 / -0

NZ has a government?

i though it was all sheep

4
TommyLasordasBallBag 4 points ago +4 / -0

You're getting chevron for 4.09!?

4
BIDENTHEKIDSNIFFER 4 points ago +4 / -0

Fuck Joe Biden with Michelle Obamas dick.

4
FuckU/Spez 4 points ago +4 / -0

In California this is DIRT CHEAP! Near me some gas stations are $5.19

4
AmazinKrackin2 4 points ago +4 / -0

Democrats will have that price up to 5 dollars a gallon on gas and they will start blowing up pipe lines in the ocean as part of their Eco-Terrorism Green New Deal program of Build Back Better. For communism to work in America, Democrats know they need to break the people down and deny them the basics of life - food, shelter, water, health care, and travel. Throw in violence and chaos and they will have the lethal mix for people wanting someone or something to take over and save us.

2
MasklessMarvel 2 points ago +2 / -0

one of the many ships anchored off LA hit a pipeline and caused a major leak

2
AmazinKrackin2 2 points ago +2 / -0

I wouldn't doubt if they blow up a bunch of offshore pipelines and create a fishing crisis/environmental crisis, maybe even run a 24/7 underwater cam of spilling crude into the ocean, birds full of tar, environmentalist screaming Green New Deal, no more oil shit. Just like the Dems burning down forests in CA all the time.

1
MasklessMarvel 1 point ago +1 / -0

it makes a perfect case to ban pipelines

4
HyperCarbs 4 points ago +4 / -0

4 bucks? Glad we're sending money to the asshole of the world and transporting energy via trains.

My local Shell is at $4.79 for regular gas. Costco gas around $4.30(?).

2
mastermeatlock 2 points ago +2 / -0

I thought $3.19 was still expensive. Damn.

2
bigusdicus2020 2 points ago +2 / -0

Any guesses on how high the price of gas will peak at? my guess is $15 by the end of next year.

3
TigersWay 3 points ago +3 / -0

The sky’s the limit. Fossil fuels went negative under Trump, so presumably they’ll go infinite under Biden. The good news is that now everyone knows that we’re not low on oil, just low on permission to distribute it.

2
MasklessMarvel 2 points ago +2 / -0

it will go up until decreased sales start hurting the oil companies

more people will carpool, take public transit, by smaller cars or work from home

supply will eventually exceed demand

2
Cantshadowbanthemall 2 points ago +2 / -0

Bay area pede checking in. Was this photo taken a year ago?

2
MR_ROBOT1776 2 points ago +2 / -0

3x higher than what it was last year for me. Fucking crazy, considering COVID bullshit was around then also. At least most are working remote but I really feel for those who aren't. Inflation and gas prices are through the roof with no raises for the past 2 years.

2
Pepelosi 2 points ago +2 / -0

That’s cheap. It’s $4.30 in Sacramento for reg.

2
Rucktoe 2 points ago +2 / -0

I mean who is actually making all of the stupid decisions?

I'm at the point that I think biden is to far gone mentally to be doing anything. I get the sense these idiotic decisions are the type someone that was a barely qualified baby sitter who insists on being called Dr. would make.

2
TigersWay 2 points ago +2 / -0

That’s a good point. I’d assumed that it was Soros or at least Hillary calling the shots, but what if we really are being governed by Dr. Jill?

2
LokaKsayaKarta 2 points ago +2 / -0

Seeing all these people in Commiefornia paying 5 bucks a gallon is making me feel even better that I left.
