Newflash to the idiot server, its not unvaccinated people avoiding it. People don't like to be asked to show their papers to get an expensive burger.

228
ObongoForPrison2020 228 points ago +230 / -2

This. .Win would do well to remember that most people who voluntarily took the injection did so because they were promised that their life would go back to normal and the injection was the path of least resistance.

They were sold a bill of goods. They know it, and they're pissed off.

25
Prayeradime12 25 points ago +25 / -0

Sad thing is, many people didn't see it as kneeling - they saw it as reaching to accept an extended hand.
A damned shame what's been done. The vigiaccess and vaers sites should be enough to turn people around in their surety of the vacx safety, but many don't even know of it.

6
BlackPillBot 6 points ago +6 / -0

And yet we still have people on “our side”, and even people on this very site who continue to cope, and allow their kindness to be taken for weakness.

3
electricboogaloo 3 points ago +3 / -0

It’s not sad. If you went thru 4 years of Trump, 2020, BLM, and COVID then reached 2021 and said “oh yeah, this vax is totally legit” you get everything you deserve. This isn’t chess. It’s candy land. All you have to do is open your eyes and recognize red means red. It’s dead simple. People want to live in ignorance and fear and they reap the consequences.

I understand that, but for me personally, I have sympathy for those of my family who took it. My mother and step father, both got theirs in March '21 or so. I watched the progression in their reasoning leading them to take it. They didn't give it enough true thought, and were way too quick to trust. They have been duped by the narrative, and even though they know MSM lies a lot, they just don't realize yet how much. Totally evil what has been done to these people. I am frustrated with them for not thinking harder or reading more, for their blind trust, and for their lack of independent research, but I am still very sympathetic to their plight. They have felt ill 2 or 3 times since, though just mildly. Step dad thinks I am the one misinformed, and mom seems willing to listen but he keeps getting closed off and I don't want to form a rift between them. Trying to get them to sit down and have a real talk but not working yet.... I am not the best messenger for people it seems. I don't know, I want them at least to get the d dimer test of blood to see if any clots may be forming. Damn these evil mother fuckers.

I feel you. Every friend I have got the jab, and almost every family member outside me and hubs got it. I am a deep dive researcher and have presented various evidence and it's been to no avail. They attack the video host or news outlet it comes from. I'm about to print out the Bill Gates patent W2020-060606 and another one (I have the number written down) for an even creepier patent for a vaccine tracking app that will integrate social credit score with your digital vaxx pass. I'll find the patent #...

IWanttotalknow 3 points ago +3 / -0

Similar position with my parents.

Fully aware the MSM lies. Relatively aware of potential problems, more swayed by them being over 65 and less data at the time. Both decided not to get a booster - think it's too dangerous and a bad idea and lots of lies and they already took two.

Then turn around and tell me they think OUR LOCAL government isn't corrupt, and they do things differently, and they're not lying. I can't face palm hard enough. Have to remember for a lot of people it's a lengthy process to realize the government is not their friend, they don't give a flying fuck about you, most of them couldn't tell the truth if their life depended on it and they care far more about their careers, their ideology and their money compared to anything else.

Another note to tag onto this. People on .win also called it that the Democrats were never going to let this go because their idea of a society is an us vs them. So when they saw a chance to create their dream two tier society they took it and now the people who took the poke are mad...because they joined the Democrat side and still arent offered the same rewards as their masters.

Picked up my wife from the airport earlier and on the way home we stopped at Olive Garden as I had nothing ready at home and the crap is passable. On the phone they said wait for a table would be like 20-25 minutes but when we got there it was only 5; plenty of open seats.

However, the staff was very friendly but very slow to bring drinks and check on us. Come time to leave we had to wait another 10 minutes to get our to-go boxes. I don't know. It seemed like there was plenty of staff and no one seemed in the weeds. They were all just operating at reduced speed. They were all masked even though my wife and I were flaunting our natural immunity and could handle anything they threw at us.

I have noticed a definite slowdown everywhere else as well.

Most servers are really bad at their jobs and really lazy.

They take for granted the idea of the 18%/20% tips and do pretty much the minimum work required while treating the job as a hangout with friends.

This didn't just start now, it's just more obvious now.

There are some servers that are very good at and enjoy their job, and you can tell these ones apart pretty much immediately.

I had a professor that told me that there's three types of knowledge.

The Knowledge of doing

The Knowledge of learning

The Knowledge of being told.

I asked him what was the difference between all three. The knowledge of doing is learning through failure, observation and trial. The knowledge of learning is comprehension and replication. Knowledge of being told, is replication without being told how to do it, but able to mimic the laid out pattern.

Most of the time, he's found out that 40% of his classes have people who are in the knowledge of doing and learning. However 60% has always been the norm of those who rather be told what to do without learning how to do it. Since they are unable to comprehended or understand exactly the material they are learning. They just replicated it out of mimicry.

They need to be told what to do because they don't understand the way things work. Without understanding the way things work, they can't understand why things happen and what would be the alternative if something else was done instead.

3
FreeFire 3 points ago +3 / -0

Lotsa dim bulbs out there.

I heard an interesting point of law. When someone asks, "Do you understand?" always say "No, I don't understand."

It's because it does not refer to your comprehension, but--in law--whether you submit to their authority over you (which you don't want to do). The word means "to stand under" or to be subservient to, another. Do not let anyone talk you into uttering that phrase.

Those other people don't know how things work...

noticed how he worked from 4 o'clock to 6 o'clock. I worked in a restaurant in a slow day the people who stay till the end are always closers and they get priority rotation. So it's a slow day at around that time the manager walks around and asks everyone who wants to leave if someone says yes they go home if they say no manage goes to the next server. They're not really concerned about hourly wages of FOH at restaurants.

Oh yeah....constant 24x7x365 fear porn being poured out of CNN, MSDNC, NYT, etc. about the unvax'd 'super spreaders' and the constant 'pandemic of the unvaccinated' lie being perpetrated by the current WH resident.

44
rebelde_sin_causa 44 points ago +44 / -0

Supposedly the passport mandates are only in reportedly high jab areas like NY/LA

So this is one more anecdotal piece of evidence that the percentage of jabbed isn't nearly as high as they say it is

I mean, we know they are lying, but how much they are lying remains in question

40
TehAgent 40 points ago +40 / -0

They claim 70% vaccinated 30% unvaxxed.

I suspect that theyre doing exactly what they always do: say the opposite of reality. 30% vaccinated, 70% unvaxxed.

More anecdotal evidence: right at about 25% of the people that work for me are vaccinated. About 30% of the office is. A very small sample size, of course.

25
rebelde_sin_causa 25 points ago +25 / -0

in the last day or two I saw the NYT claim 56% double jabbed nationwide

True or not, that number has hardly moved in months

14
SuddenlyClintoned 14 points ago +14 / -0

I think that's the real number, though.

It's only climbed from 52% to 56% in 2-3 months. That sounds about what I'd expect them to have gained from the last, but that rate also means they're reaching their limit without abducting people or children.

5
TwitterIsTrash 5 points ago +5 / -0

Now that sounds about right. 70% is a lie. 56% is the best they can do. Half this country is not vaxxed and doesn’t want to be.

3
Sky_RPL 3 points ago +3 / -0

There is also the invisible demographic metrics. What are injection rates broken down by age, race, and income level? I don’t think it’s a stretch to estimate the least poisoned demographic is the one with disposable income and the free time to eat out at restaurants.

I'm on the board of a major retailer in 10 states. We are only 28% vaccinated. Short of the elderly and retired, I don't see any reason we would be different than the national average. Honestly I don't believe over 35-40% of the population is vaccinated.

Terrortot 3 points ago +3 / -0

New York , like probably most other states, keeps a database of vaccinations tied to name ands birth day. It is kept for everyone who gets a vaccination. A recent paper says 65% are fully vaccinated, but that is based on a sample size of only 8.5 million, not all the 16 million adults in the state. So I wonder if the other 8.5 million are vaccinated. If they are not, then New York numbers are close to your estimate of 35%.

And you don't need to tell me that even these numbers are suspect. New York officials now think like chinese communists -- statistics reflect what the party commissar want them to be, not what they really are.

So, interesting math to do here...

How could they ever want to hit 100%; to hit 100% would mean they would need to at some point say 100% is 3million out of 3million people in this city...

But we know they don't keep accurate counts of the population purposfully to use on voting. What happens when one department says 100% of a city is say 324k people but the records used for voting say the city should have 420k people?

1
Terrortot 1 point ago +1 / -0

check out the confidence ranges in figure two. There's a huge range of what the figures could be. IF you consider that census uncertainty is likely understated (because illegals live like packed sardines and are unaccounted for because they are undocumented) and the range becomes even greater.

Also the lead author, Howard Zucker, is under heavy scrutiny for his role in killing so many people at the pandemic start. He's resigning in disgrace. Department of Health employees are jumping ship in droves. Albany is so corrupt that nobody wants to investigate anything because they are all dirty.

They went Soviet, and now we have soviet levels of disfunction. Just like the soviets, the one thing they are good at is squashing opposition and staying in power.

Here's a clue. The MSM sold you a shit sandwich, and you have been eating it. And even when people tell you "yuck, you're eating a shit sandwich, I'm not eating it" you call them a conspiracy theorist and continue eating.

People want nothing to do with places that are doing anything with vaccines, or masks, or covid. The places that are remaining open have gotten rid of their 'rules' or they have recommendations, but not enforcing anything.

Put down the shit sandwich. Admit you've been eating shit. You'll enjoy the freedom and taste of other food once you do.

12
MAGA_MEXICAN_CHILI 12 points ago +12 / -0

Honestly people have a massive issue with sunk cost. Its the fear that everything they have been told and program to believe that 'government is good' that 'government can fix everything' and 'government is being impeded because some people do not like government' has now come to be the exact opposite. So instead of being an actual adult these people will double down if not worst because that's where their identity is being fed to....this idea of love of government.

8
TheMadManDidItAgain 8 points ago +8 / -0

Government is the ultimate oppressor... and they idolize government.

It's simply Marxism with an American flavor.

2
MAGA_MEXICAN_CHILI 2 points ago +2 / -0

I wonder the propensity of wanting Government to lord over them comes from an age of helicopter parenting that has happen in the late 80's- early 2000s.

Why stumble and fall on your own, learn on your own when your parents quickly come to rescue.

From 5-18 a liberal child views their parents as their saviors (unless their conservative...then evil) ...from 18 to death....liberals want and need government to be their saviors so they can be children again (because adulting is hard for them).

2
TheMadManDidItAgain 2 points ago +2 / -0

My children are within that age range you specified. My wife and I are very conservative. I will say that all my children do not think of us as evil, they all recognize the evil of liberalism. And every one of them love America, freedom, and liberty. They all reject lunatic leftist crap. Know why? We teach them history. We teach them the troubles that Washington suffered, the low morality, bad shoes, rotten food, cold weather..... but Washington still prevailed. They know the struggles it took to fight an oppressive government, and what it took just to create a society that had a free people.

They know this because they are all homeschooled. They can all easily run circles around high school history students.

Want to know how I know homeschooling works? We have to take an aptitude test, my youngest one (closer to 5 than 18) scored well above average if the test were administered to high school students. It's weird... the way they do the aptitude is the students take the same tests (per grade level). When you get the report, they don't compare you to other students in the same grade... instead, they try to find the aptitude level in which that child can be compared. So, as far as aptitude goes, this child's level was so off the charts compared to people in their current grade, they had to compare them against people over 5 grades ahead.

Homeschool our children... it is tough. We live without. Our house needs tons of work... but it will pay off having a child who will be in charge of the country, in charge of lots of people, and be a leader in society. Maybe the leadership isn't political, maybe they are a manager at a warehouse, and that's fine. But they won't be a loser taking any schlep job they can find.

Sorry to swoon a bit.... but I'm making a case for homeschool kids. They don't hate their conservative parents because they are not indoctrinated to do so.

1
MAGA_MEXICAN_CHILI 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's the thing,

What was that one school district that said they don't view children as their parents but wards of the government.

Honestly parents have surrendered (not you) their child development to the state and in turn have allowed this to propagate. When your child is stuck behind a over glorified desk jockey. I left the teaching track in college because I didnt like any of the child psychology classes because it literally felt like I was being taught how to brainwash kids, not nurture their gifts.

1
TheMadManDidItAgain 1 point ago +1 / -0

The gubment has been able to get women working so that families have 2 incomes... they keep their kids in the indoctrination camps all day, mom makes money (thus more taxes)... middle class appears to thrive, but happiness dwindles. The middle class families of yesteryear now are lower income families because societies prices have increased because families now have two incomes.

My opinion... families with only one working parent should get a tax reduction. Families which homeschool their children should get significant local tax breaks. As a homeschool family, we have to pay full taxes for our school (which is rated one of the worst in the entire state), plus we have to pay for our homeschool curriculum which isn't cheap. I don't make good money, so we are living paycheck to paycheck. My wife doesn't work, she's caring for our kids and homeschooling, that ends up being her job right now.

It's tough. We have just about 8 more years until our last child is done with school... we need to survive for 8 years. After that, my wife will be able to get a full time job (she's smart, she'll do well) and our life will change. Until then... just gotta survive and hope for the best...

2
MAGA_MEXICAN_CHILI 2 points ago +2 / -0

It wasnt the gubment, it was Feminism that told women they needed to work and they needed to find fulfillment via working.

I mean its a clear and stark contast of how 1950's envisioned society to what we have right now.

Ive seen videos where school for kids was at home, using a Computer with a webcam (of course they called it something futuristic like teleschooling). Our educational system has not even changed for over 100 years. The current K-12 is built on the old German Factory Model that Henry Ford brought over. Kids have their creativity beaten out of them, learn how to react to bells for breaks, lunch and leaving...nothing has changed... Those of us who see it, are unable to fix it because the Teacher Unions have such a damn grip on their education monopoly.

They legally have to mandate

Yet not one of them stood up against it well knowing they would instantly lose at least 40% of their customers... fuck them.

  • it's actually more than 40% of the customer base, because let's say 40% are unvaccinated and some guys spouse is vaccinated, guess what? Neither of them will go to the restaurant because one of them will not go alone.

Half the stores here require masks, the other half don't.

I don't even carry a mask anymore, haven't worn one in 6+ months and forget some places require them.

It's not hard to build a new routine of only non-mask ones.

You're assuming they had a brain to begin with.

22
PopMaca 22 points ago +22 / -0

Why would I go to a restaurant to be treated like a shit, to be served by masked zombies and imagine that - asked for my personal medical information?!

Instead, good steaks, 20 min of pure fun with barbeque and viola! I made better thing than you!

4
Terrortot 4 points ago +4 / -0

I quit eating out years ago. I can't eat a restaurant hamburger anymore. I broil mine in a cast iron for twenty minutes, season them as the moods hits me (lime juice makes a great burger, who'da thunk it). So good. I get the meat from my local butcher. If it's steak I broil it for hours. All the fat and gristle melts into the meat, which just slides off the bone. take your time cooking your meat. Slow cooked meat releases a savour that is pleasing to the nostrils of god.

1
PopMaca 1 point ago +1 / -0

Lime juice? Ok... I'll try...

If it's steak I broil it for hours

What temperature and time?

1
Terrortot 1 point ago +1 / -0

I play around with temperature. I usually like to go high heat to give it a nice crust, and then I reduce the heat to low. The time is what matters. it takes time to break down all the connective tissue in the meat.

The wonderful thing about cooking for yourself is that you can try whatever you want, and if it doesn't work out, than you try something different the next time.

We live in an age of industrialized food, where everything is meant to be consistent and uniform. Screw that noise. Enjoy your food and taste it. nature isn't uniform, neither should your food be.

1
PopMaca 1 point ago +1 / -0

Low like 275 - 300 F?

1
Terrortot 1 point ago +1 / -0

low like I put the burner on low and check on it every once in a while. trial, error, and experience. I use a cast iron on a stove burner, not the oven, because I don't have a working oven.

Angry 1 point ago +1 / -0

If you ever do decide to grill them again, try this:

Before you pat out the patties, mix in some teriyaki marinade and parmesan cheese (the kind for spaghetti, not Hunter's crack pipe). The teriyaki brings out the taste and the cheese adds flavor and helps hold the patty together. They are excellent.

Aquamine-Amarine 19 points ago +19 / -0

Oh, you poor baby, you're scared about your financial situation?

FUCK YOU.

So am I, because you mask nazi cunts want to destroy my life, steal my job, discriminate against me, deny me essential services, cast me out of society and kill me because I refuse to be brainwashed about your fucking propaganda about the common cold. So I'm fucking GLAD you're going to lose your job and your livelihood, because you pieces of shit wished that would happen to us. So fuck you, karma's a bitch.

Wait. Why do they "legally have to mandate it"? Aren't they private companies that can do what they want?

16

Unvaccinated were the ones keeping restaurants afloat while the future vaccinated were curled up in the fetal position on their kitchen floors.

I would have already been scared for my financial situation if my career was to wait tables.

5
Droford 5 points ago +5 / -0

Waitresses used to be able to make good money if it was a nice restaurant. That's why thry also hate the nice restaurants who changed to no tips and a higher wage because they end up losing money.

6
Wintergreen 6 points ago +6 / -0

"not the businesses fault, they legally have to mandate it" - Yet it is the business that will suffer from the loss of money. So the business has a choice whether to comply or not. If one business stands alone, the government will crush it. If they all pool their resources and stand together the government can't do shit. It's too bad this idiot will belatedly learn this lesson, if ever.

5
sustainable_saltmine 5 points ago +5 / -0
  1. Why are you worried about people being unvaxxed? If you are, and you trust it you're fine.
  2. It IS the fault of the restaurant for obeying it
