It's retarded. They don't have the resources to pursue it. They want it to target specific people for political retribution just like Louis Lerner was doing. Nothing more. They do not give a fuck about taxes. They are almost 30T in the fucking hole and will be 30 plus by the end of the year. 4T annual deficit. Only way to fix that is to to cut programs. Not getting that from middle America.

135
Steven_IDGAF_Miller 135 points ago +135 / -0

Exactly.

They want to see who contributes to specific conservative people/groups/etc. Who contributes to Kyle Rittenhouse defense fundraisers? Which political candidate did you donate to? Do you buys guns/ammo? Do you buy over a certain amount of gas/food/etc. a month? Is your mortgage above a certain amount? Do you shop at stores or do business with companies that are not 'woke enough'? Do you donate to one of the 'evil white nationalist' political groups (as classified by the ADL and SPLC).

If you are 'marked' as a 'person of interest', all of a sudden your passport application 'gets lost', you get put on no fly lists by 'mistake', your social security payments get 'lost in the mail', you get audited by the IRS every single year. Your kids don't get accepted to a college/university because you sent the wrong political candidate $40 10 years ago.

They won't outright put you in jail. They'll just keep on putting on the pressure, bit by bit, over weeks, months, years. Until eventually you just give in and become another Winston. 2 + 2 = 5

This is about CONTROL. It always has been.

Power breeds arrogance, and arrogance breeds incompetence. Its already known that they rely far too much on technology, its also known they suck up so much data it becomes useless.

They arent the silent professionals of the past who were covert operatives with highly specialized skillsets, the ic is actively recruiting mentally ill rainbow cultists.

Wells Fargo dumped me as a customer a few weeks after contributing to Trump and Rittenhouse. Not sure which one some blue haired diversity hire saw and flipped shit over. My bank president couldn't even get a straight answer. Wells Fargo routinely reviews people's accounts and then decides if they want to keep them or drop them.

5

Bingo. And don’t forget them just straight up freezing your accounts and funds.

32

10

So completely incompetent then, at least that's good.

3
MocksFordComma 3 points ago +4 / -1

No that’s bad. Someone who is clueless can fuck your shit up too.

18
anotherthing 18 points ago +19 / -1

They honestly don't really need more agents to do this. Almost all of this can be done with software. We're living in a time where software can sift through everything you write on an electronic device that hits either the internet or over cellular, tie it to your location, and figure out what times a day you're likely to take a shit. They can scan through live camera videos and pick out your face in a crowd. Tracking transactions on a bank account is way, way easier than that. Not only are there significantly less data points, but the data is also much easier.

Look at it this way, and this is a bigger number than reality. Say that every single American has a bank account, from the time they're born until the time they die. Say these Americans average 5 transactions per day. Per second, that's only 208,000 queries. That's small potatoes for a server farm.

7
FightingTeuton 7 points ago +7 / -0

Very very under-rated comment. Cheers pede

Precicely. MORE ALGORITHIMS. Can you imagine the destruction something like that could cause? Being unjustly banned from a social media site due to an algorithim is one thing, but messing with your life and finances is something totally different.

Algorithims don't have common sense.

They will because they want to invest 80 billion in the IRS in the “infrastructure” bill.

It will take awhile though because the irs has the technology of like 1990…so developers are obviously going to have to program a huge system, or they will just have some other company do it.

19

Yes.

10
whataboob 10 points ago +10 / -0

Nice, finally someone is striking at the root: the 16th amendment++

They have no right to charge us income tax, wholly unamerican. I don’t know how they got this 16th amendment, federal income travesty through.

The whole of the FED and IRS is a total criminal and totalitarian cancer on the US. The IRS has 0 right to look at our accounts, whether $10k or $600 or $100k.

As you said, unless there’s a fair court and judge backed warrant, in a criminal investigation, by a citizen permitted organization that solves crimes under that allowance from he citizenry’s like police, what logic would justify the government literally constantly monitoring and spying on our finances?

So, outside the $600 , they’re maybe doing it because the federal debt and income tax is their own credit card which we have to pay back, so I guess they’re just making sure to itemize and keep track of their animal farm resources.

9

The context is completely different than Jesus talking to the pharisees about paying taxes to Rome. His comeback made sense in that context. It doesn't here even a little bit. The IRS isn't asking me to render anything. They are going to snoop regardless of what I render. And rendering to God is just a non sequitur. Tithing? Okay. We are talking about a surveillance state. Tithe or don't tithe, they are still going to crawl up your ass and monitor you.

It's the same reason why surveillance states have all the cameras.

They say it's to keep people safe. To catch criminals. To make sure the law is being obeyed.

But it's not. It would take far too many people to monitor the whole population.

What it's really for, is to get blackmail on people so that they don't one day become future threats to the establishment.

Want to run for president? Here's that one dumb decision you made as a teenager broadcast for the world to see.
