The Military Industrial Complex protesting the Pharma Industrial Complex.

See... these are not employees you can simply replace. Everyone in this picture probably makes over 100k a year and up up up.

13
consumptiveballerina 13 points ago +13 / -0

I see a lot of clearances.

7
SJBHamilton 7 points ago +7 / -0

Security clearances. Can't just get those for H1b Visas.

Parhelion12 4 points ago +4 / -0

Not yet.

PewPew_ThaDuK 24 points ago +24 / -0

Damn 200 for a military contractor. That's pretty big! Nice work!

23
IWantFweedom 23 points ago +23 / -0

If those are specialists Northrop Grumman is hosed without them.

11
Out_4a_Jog 11 points ago +11 / -0

You have no idea! I’m an NG electronics technician at a smaller plant. If we even lose 4 techs production freezes. They can’t replace us as easily as an operator/manufacturer; we have all the clearances. And unlike manufacturing we can completely halt production and tie things up in test

6
TAG55 6 points ago +6 / -0

Master technician 21 years with NG. Told them today "I will not comply"

IWantFweedom 2 points ago +2 / -0

[saluting]

IWantFweedom 1 point ago +1 / -0

Now imagine them letting go of designers and engineers. It's the real world equivalent of Jurassic Park. Only firing Dennis Nedry instead of not giving him a raise. It's not Disney, you can't just train new people in a few weeks on how to do the job and everything will just work out.

2
Out_4a_Jog 2 points ago +2 / -0

I honestly believe management underestimates how many people will leave.

1
IWantFweedom 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm sure one of the 20 managers per employee has it figured out.

WhiteTrashJesus 7 points ago +7 / -0

All the MIC companies are hosed they have a lot of people who are beyond retirement age that they pay a lot of money to come back because they never spend a dollar on redundancy i.e. if the government doesnt pay you to do something they wont cough up to do it. Just now they are bringing in younger people to learn from the old guys

1
IWantFweedom 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yep, MIC companies would be screwing themselves royally by going through with the mandate.

2
anewstep 2 points ago +2 / -0

This feels like the idea behind the mandate. Gut all contractors of patriots, replace them with people that agree with their politics or simply gimp our military systems so other counties can get a leg up. This doesn't end well in 5 years for the USA. This is intentional.

1
IWantFweedom 1 point ago +1 / -0

All while they're gutting the military as well. Scary times.

2
Fajuu 2 points ago +2 / -0

Which would be a huge hit to America. Those scientists and engineers are some of the best in the world, they did develop the B-2 Spirit and rumors of the new B-21 bomber.

Wow, CA that is great.

13
mty_green_go 13 points ago +14 / -1

Lol Northrop doesn't care. Government doesn't care. The govt rather fire all of them and replace with diversity hires . Protesting doesn't do anything. Until BLM riots start happening and buildings gets burned down and the media starts simping for them, then maybe the communists will listen

5
slangin_paint 5 points ago +6 / -1

They can simply train trans Somalis to do the same work.

6
Dirquidijr 6 points ago +7 / -1

They can't until they remove the citizen requirement for clearance, they will simply cripple the military, which is part of their goals.

4
Beef_Vegan 4 points ago +4 / -0

The sooner people realize this the better. I work for Lockheed. They know they’re about to lose a ton of employees but that’s not as bad as losing their only source of income. Every contract is getting amended. They’re just going to turn off badges for anyone that isn’t in the system and let it ride. They and the government don’t give a shit.

Only funny part is that most of the people leaving are hands on which means I expect layoffs in the offices as less support is needed for the time being.

foxxybooks 1 point ago +1 / -0

Exactly it's time to burn the whole fucking thing down!!!

12
EdmondDaunts 12 points ago +12 / -0

The madness of this is that NG like Boeing spend a lot of time validating and verifying their hardware and software against exacting standards. And yet are perfectly fine to force some hobbled-together snake oil.

Clearly their ability to make things safe is in question

Got 2 planned in Maryland! Monday morning at the Baltimore plant and then on the 25th at the Sykesville plant. A LOT of pissed off people. The guy who is organizing for my site has been in communication with employees from sites all around the country!

2
LyingDogFace 2 points ago +2 / -0

I can see word of mouth at the site in question, but how do you get other sites involved?

3
Out_4a_Jog 3 points ago +3 / -0

The guy who is doing all the organizing used Facebook to get through.

1
LyingDogFace 1 point ago +1 / -0

Gotcha. Seemed like using company resources would be a big no no and with no real way to distinguish those who might be opposed from those who are sympathetic. FB makes sense. Thanks.

Palmdale patriots steppin up!

One of my closest friends works for Northrop at the Redondo facility and he has until 12/8 to get vaxxed or he's out. He's working hard to get around it but since they service the federal government... unlikely anything will change.

There may have been thousands there.

They were in the stealth planes and vans and automobiles, so you can't see them in the picture.
