Think it is wrong that he got jailed. Not going to worry about it since he does not want Trump's or MAGA patriots help.

DairyBoy 166 points ago +168 / -2

Same, oh well

116
SquiggyMcPepe 116 points ago +117 / -1

The only reason he was arrested was because he violated a gag order not because of his original posting about the corruption. He walked right into it.

35
saltyviewer123 35 points ago +36 / -1

Maybe he walked into it on purpose?

38
tholins 38 points ago +38 / -0

Well he did post on Facebook for them to come and arrest him.

Seriously, he knew exactly what was going to happen

12
zathras11 12 points ago +12 / -0

I cared until he talked smack about Trump and Trump's supporters, and now I don't care. I heard he PLEAD guilty to all charges, not that he was found quilty. Usually they'd just accept the plea and not put on a prosecution case and render judgment.

3
saltyviewer123 3 points ago +3 / -0

I think the smack is just a distraction. It doesn't matter how he feels about Trump or Trump supporters. Not everyone who wants to do the right thing is a Trump supporter. We have to build bridges.

1
ghost_of_aswartz 1 point ago +1 / -0

Listen, many of us donated to him and tried in good faith to help him. The LEAST he could have done would have been for him to keep his shitty attitude against Trump TO HIMSELF instead of airing it and taking a hot steaming poop on all of our good will

That was disrespectful to everyone that was there to help him. And we weren't doing it for political points either--just to help a marine we thought was doing the right thing. Then he showed us how much he thought of our helping him.

15
SnowflakeJuice 15 points ago +16 / -1

Well that is stupid, he already got attention, just needed to wait a bit for his resignation to go through and he could have talked as much as he wanted

13
aconcernedtroll 13 points ago +13 / -0

They put him under a gag order and denied his resignation. He would have been forced to retire silently. At which point, any of his criticism would be stale and irrelevant tbh.

10
learntocode 10 points ago +10 / -0

He wants to be guilty - he is guilty of telling the truth to his superiors publicly. He pled guilty to that. He has indicted the whole corrupt military leadership system.

6
KingOfTards 6 points ago +8 / -2

He seems like a globalist plant to create a victim that can produce a narrative that causes Americans to lose faith. It's a typical commie tactic. The problem is the leadership not the entire branch.

6
IvotedforTrumptwice 6 points ago +6 / -0

Lose faith in what? God? Oh you’re talking faith in the military ran by ilk like Milley. I hope people lose all faith in government institutions. I put faith in Jesus. Some plant or otherwise isn’t going to change that.

2
learntocode 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well he sure is throwing a lot away as a "plant" for the globohomo bugman empire. You might be right though.

Libertas_Vel_Mors 80 points ago +80 / -0

Yup.

Unpopular opinion: You don't have a lot of rights while in uniform, and the 1st Amendment takes the biggest hit right after the 4th Amendment (you get no privacy in the barracks, none - the only reason base housing gives you some is because your spouse and kids are still civilians).

He could have leaked to friendly press (what little we have), but while I admire the fact that he showed some gargantuan balls with his videos, he had to know that the brass would straight-up sodomize his life for doing it, and according to the UCMJ, would be well within their legal (not moral, legal) right to do so.

3
ApexVeritas 3 points ago +6 / -3

You're using a false dichotomy, a logically fallacious argument, tantamount to a lie. You should be better than that.

Recognizing the death of common law, built up over millennia of philosophy and learned values since the Greeks, and who is doing it doesn't mean we want to completely abandon everything since then, only get rid of the ones causing the problem. Lawyers and politicians are to blame. They're creating laws for everything, and making them so absurdly complex only a lawyer could understand them (even requiring specialization of lawyers it's gotten so bad), separating the common man from the state even more, and turning the justice system into a farce, where justice is no longer equal, and money controls all. We're being legalesed and lawyered to death.

10
tholins 10 points ago +10 / -0

That’s not an opinion, that’s the goddamn truth. I think a lot of people don’t understand that around here.

The real problem is that, with people like Vindmen and Miley, it appears that the normal rules of military decorum and respect for the chain of command don’t apply anymore if a Republican is in office. The double standard is the real issue.

6
Libertas_Vel_Mors 6 points ago +6 / -0

Agreed. Vindeman (sp?) and Milley should have been busted to O-1 and put in charge of a couple of MWR shacks in some far-flung shitholes.

27
ChuckedBeef 27 points ago +30 / -3

Fuck this guy, he glows in the dark!

He is the exact kind of person the CIA or FBI would trot out to try and peel patriots off of Trump. Well, he can go fuck himself in the brig. Trump didn't divide us and there is not a single politician fighting the system this guy claims to hate the way Trump is fighting it.

His stated values do not line up with his anti Trump rhetoric, he comes off as a piece of deep state driftwood.

15
Wearyman 15 points ago +15 / -0

He's not a glowy. Just dumb.

His original statement was dead on.

Once he was ordered to shut up, he should have reverted to quietly leaking info.

instead he not only kept yapping, but then REFUSED HELP when it was offered.

Not a glowie. They are smarter than that.

4
War_Hamster 4 points ago +6 / -2

Entirely possible he's a product of the CRT brainwashing the military has been instilling and he went all the way to full revolutionary mode. All of his original statements could easily have been made by a SJW who just hates the "establishment". That would explain his continued yapping.

8
khrysiis 8 points ago +8 / -0

He is not jailed now - was jailed. He is being court martialed, but from what I have read, he is basically getting no punishment.

2
BoughtByBloomberg2 2 points ago +3 / -1

I thought he was convicted of charhes and has to do naughty army jail time.

1
khrysiis 1 point ago +1 / -0

No jail time. Letter of reprimand, and probably some pay forfeit. I read somewhere also that he may be discharged.

2
BoughtByBloomberg2 2 points ago +2 / -0

Of course he's getting discharge. He resigned already even if they asked him to stay.

1
khrysiis 1 point ago +1 / -0

from the Daily Mail - A special court marital limits the maximum punishment for service members if found guilty. It cannot sentence an officer to jail or a punitive discharge. His legal team has told Dailymail.com they are hoping for an honorable discharge or a discharge under honorable conditions with a letter of reprimand.

2
BoughtByBloomberg2 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thanks for taking the time to explain. Here's hoping for the best. He may come to understand Trump was the only person that cared about his men dying for nothing over there. Or he may simply continue his crusade against the cucks in charge.

What are the options? Every organization I might join ends up having a fit at the top. If you make plans to do anything political, 70% will end up being fed unless you've known them their whole life. I live in Michigan, I'm just waiting to start getting cold calls to kidnap the Governor from feds.😁

4
BlackPilled4Decades 4 points ago +4 / -0

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. He said some things that made a lot of sense, like his spiel about working your way up through an institution and losing yourself along the way. By the time you get where you need to be you're too heavily invested in the system to make the changes you set out to make.

4
War_Hamster 4 points ago +4 / -0

Are you referring to Scheller as a broken clock or me?

I'm not the idiot who posted this:

It’s time for a new generation to assume American power. We are ready, and we reject the current system... Follow me, and we will bring the whole f***ing system down… in a constitutional manner with one loud voice."

And we had people here celebrating him as our new "leader".

4
REDPILLEDBYALEXJONES 4 points ago +4 / -0

What's wrong with his statement? I can actually agree with alot of what he had to say.

8
War_Hamster 8 points ago +8 / -0

Did you read what he said about Trump being responsible for dividing the country? That means he believes in the MSM narrative and can't read the room.

This is not a man who anyone should be following and calling for bringing down the whole f***ing system could just as easily be a Marxist call-out. The focus on generational warfare is a bit of a tell. I could easily imagine this guy's anger is against "systemic racism" and he blames the "establishment" generals for causing all of the brown people to suffer.

My whole point is that people were ready to follow him off a cliff without knowing anything about him and there's a ton of reason to suspect his motives.

At the time, I said I hope he turns out to be a real stand-up guy, but I was going to hold off on throwing him any parades. Seems like that was the right call.

6
Priopism 6 points ago +6 / -0

Exactly. It is a leftist quality to mindlessly rally behind someone that claims that they don’t like the current system and wants to fundamentally change it without any specifics whatsoever.

4
War_Hamster 4 points ago +4 / -0

Bingo.

Same mentality that puts clowns like Romney on the ticket because he "looks presidential".

4
Salt_Cartoonist 4 points ago +4 / -0

I was initially concerned about the guys mental stability, but the early videos had specific props that in my mind seemed a little to "deliberate" like the chess opening move and the specific set of books. So he was either a false flag to weed out other dissenting officers, or just an idiot who threw away his career.

3
War_Hamster 3 points ago +3 / -0

I don't get it. If someone murders someone and is caught, and pleads guilty, is he also not found guilty? I think we are being a little pedantic here.

4
Butt_expert 4 points ago +5 / -1

He is not found guilty. It is an important distinction. We rely on courts to produce just results, and a court finding someone guilty should reflect some degree of certainty that they are, in fact, guilty. Pleasing guilty conveys no such certainty.

2
Assassin47 2 points ago +2 / -0

He wasn't "found guilty" on all charges, he plead guilty. It's splitting hairs, I suppose, but most of the time headlines make the distinction. I know he isn't the most popular guy around here, but I like him. He's a stand up guy. He plead guilty, because the charges they accused him with were probably one of the few honest things the military brass has said or done in a while. The military brass basically said to him "We hold you in contempt of us." His only honest response was "I have nothing but contempt for you."

Also, they fucking jailed this guy for this (or, more precisely, his refusal to obey a gag order). Meanwhile, fake military "whistleblowers" during the Trump administration were merely reassigned or retired with their pensions intact. It's further evidence of the most blatant double-standard in America today: left-leaning political bias in government, media, and culture.

6
CommunismIsForFags 6 points ago +6 / -0

Because he knowingly violated UCMJ on participating in Social Media:

https://www.army.mil/article/73367/social_media_misuse_punishable_under_ucmj

It is literally applied to everyone. This is the same as the military who were punished during the Iraq war.

To think that a Lt. Col was unaware of these rules is absurd. This man knew exactly what would happen and is sensationalizing it. Probably to launch a political career. Be extremely cautious of this man.

Military members do not have the same rights and freedoms we do. They are taken away to have a functioning military that can fight an win wars.

A better argument: Why are the trannies and SJW faggots in the military getting away with posting to social media and participating in the political dialogue, criticizing superiors and violating UCMJ? Point to them, call them out, and demand they be punished.

This man is guilty.

Folks seriously go into your settings change so not community setting and down vote this to oblivion. Yeah I know this isn’t Reddit but this garbage is unworthy of the front page.

He wasn't found guilty... he pleaded guilty.

bluto36 4 points ago +4 / -0

who?

SilverBackTrump 4 points ago +4 / -0

Here is an idea: don't post links to these hyperbolic misleading sources. "Found guilty" completely misleads the reader - he chose to take a pea agreement.

Really disappointing mods stickied such a misleading headline. This story is in plenty of other places. This is leftist behavior. Stop.

What a speedy trial.

Wonder how those 1/6 patriots are doing...

Remember... His bosses ARMED 3 Terror Organizations with 85 Billion dollars worth of Arms and Materials... NOT 1 of them has been demoted, transferred, charged, fired, arrested... Not 1. He may not want our help... but his bosses are commies!

Still smells like false flag to me. Will be interested to see what incarceration they attempt

Dude might actually be nuts - he doesn't like Trump

3
BIDENTHEKIDSNIFFER 3 points ago +3 / -0

Honestly its starting to sound like it. Hes pissed at everyone and thats about it. Maybe just a real bad midlife crisis breakdown set off by the shit that went down in Afghanistan.

Cuck suffers from PTDS: Post-Trump Derangement Syndrome. He went out of his way to say he'd rather rot in jail than have Trump and his supporters help him out. Looks like his wish is coming true.

My son always wanted to be a Marine like his Uncle. Seeing the country the way it is now, I'm glad that never happened. It's so sad.

3
BasedMedicalDoctor 3 points ago +3 / -0

How long does he face in prison?

3
BigIgloo 3 points ago +3 / -0

I mean...duh.

The military owns your body, mind, and soul when you sign that dotted line.

Not fair, but that's never been what the military is about.

On the other hand, he's right about a lot of things, and wrong about some others.

The MIC is all about trannies, faggotry, and MIGA now anyway. I feel bad for those still serving.

This guy managed to alienate absolutely everyone. Nowhere in The Art of War does it say to attack in all directions.

3
Daniel644 3 points ago +3 / -0

wonder if he regrets telling us to shove it?

3
dirtymikeandthebois 3 points ago +4 / -1

Sucks to suck! Climb down that ivory tower when your moral superiority finally gives way.

3
TrumpTrain_MAGA2020 3 points ago +5 / -2

He saw his only way out was to badmouth Trump, and he caved like the cuck he is.

May he rot wherever he ends up (probably on CNN as the latest talking head moron).

2
PelosisPussy 2 points ago +2 / -0

Don't worry, he'll get a comfy spot at Fox News when he's out.

Seemed to work out well.

2

Hey. You said you didn’t want us dirty Trump supporters to help so fuck you.

2
learntocode 2 points ago +2 / -0

Holy fuck, this guy is a god damn hero. He olead guilty because "asking for accountability is counter to the conduct of an officer".

Jesus, indicted the whole damn place. Sacrificed his career, bennies, house and home.

Fuck I wish I could do something as meaningful with my pathetic life.

2
OKRancher 2 points ago +2 / -0

Has anyone else in the military stood up and said the morally right thing? I think this is a good, proud man; especially if he won’t bow down to anyone, including Trump.

1
Observe95 1 point ago +1 / -0

But no one asked him to bow down to Trump.

2
Mildad 2 points ago +3 / -1

Fuck this loser

Verdict was a forgone conclusion. You think the Swamp military leaders would defy The Great Dictator?

Military leaders are so over rated, and I'm a veteran. But trust my claim, the arrogance they acquire with rank and promotions, goes against human respect, to the soldiers forced to shovel the shit.
