Made a post about some bad times in my life and asked for prayers. You all really came through. Prayers, well wishes and one of you even offered help with food.

Went to prayer group last night and to the soup kitchen afterwards. Haven’t missed a day of work through all this. Walking there and back, but it’s doing me good. Time with my thoughts.

Made a new bank account and am talking to a great lawyer who is taking my case on deferred payment until I get back on my feet.

Just wanted to thank you all again. Still have a long way to go, but I wouldn’t even be here If it wasn’t for God working though you all.

I’ll never forget it.

Just made a post asking for help. Feel ashamed and embarrassed, but I'm one and have never needed help this bad. Probably about to get humiliated.

Nah, no humiliation around here.

Where do you live? I may be able to help you with a salaried job with benefits. My company is always hiring and have a lot of offices.

No humiliation in asking for help. The humiliation is in not trying.

I don't know your situation, but I can tell you with 100% certainty, from experience, that you won't think your way out of it, you can't worry your way out, and nobody's going to deliver it to you while you wait - you have to act.

Take some action right now, no matter how small it seems, then as soon as you do that, do it again. Don't focus on the end goal, do what you can right now, then move on to the next thing. You won't get to your goal in one step, it's thousands of small ones. Those steps build up, emotionally and physically, and failures teach you what not to repeat.

You'll have tons of setbacks, we all do, but keep putting one foot in front of another, you can do it.
