Yep. The only decision Biden makes is between chocolate and vanilla pudding with dinner.

I think he was selected for this reason. The dementia.

If a younger and competent man were president doing these things, the people would recognize their one and only home is being destroyed and overrun on purpose.

I firmly believe that’s why buttegieg dropped. Right when he started making waves they realized they need him for later. That’s what I recall of it anyway. His drop seemed odd.

8
Jaguriel 8 points ago +8 / -0

Spot on!

5
funwithguitars 5 points ago +5 / -0

Not just odd it was monetarily stupid. He had already spent millions in states where the primaries were coming up in just days. Why not wait and see the results of your spending before dropping out?? He was paid to drop out , pure and simple.

1
WinningAnyway 1 point ago +1 / -0

None of that was his money. It's play money for him to buy prostitutes, dope, vehicles and property with.

3
FakeNametag 3 points ago +3 / -0

Didn't he drop out because he was pregnant? I mean he's on maternity leave so just think about the timing.

The entire cadre of democrat fools stepped down in tandem because they were all ordered / offered positions of power in a rigged scheme. It was stunning to watch them all bow to the potato.

Worrying part is they're not clamoring to appear to fix or even mitigate the crisis they have created. They're portraying it like a force of nature, beyond prediction and out of control. The first part makes sense, but the second is atypical political behavior. That bodes I'll. I'd be very weary of the hero that emerges.

5
RexCollumSilvarum 5 points ago +5 / -0

the crisis they have created. They're portraying it like a force of nature, beyond prediction and out of control.

Inflation has been presented this way for years. It's how they rob us of our savings and our confidence in being able to support ourselves and prepare for our futures.

4
AerialRush 4 points ago +4 / -0

This. Never forget that inflation is controlled and can be ended at anytime. It’s called stop printing

1
SorosHasBallsackEyes 1 point ago +1 / -0

Once everything is completely fucked, they hope that fools who put them in a position to destroy the country will next believe that only a government of enormous centralized power will be able to fix everything.

1
RStroud 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's my feeling, that they'll have the people demanding someone do something. I don't think Harris or Biden have the charisma to step up as "natural leaders". I can't really point to anyone visible in the democrat party that could convincingly play a good "wartime president". So, maybe they'll have a bipartisan cabal in the senate.

I think it's clear that he is comfortable with being hated as he is the figurehead for the far left. His goal is to get in there and rubberstamp the left's agenda while they let him grab with both hands.

He knows he'll get away with it, even if everyone hates him for it.

We're missing the true analogy here.

Hunting is a thing.

29
SuperFreedomMan 29 points ago +29 / -0

And that is what I think will happen. You can't have communism without famine. And when the famine hits, the guns will come out. Neighborhoods will form hunting parties.

And my hope is those hunting parties combine with others to form militias. And those militias combine to form an army. An army so great, it can march on and occupy Washington DC with ease. Communism hasn't been tried in an armed nation. Our forefathers knew what they were doing.

20
NomadicKrow2 20 points ago +20 / -0

We can already train people. Camps for adult fitness. Weekend survival courses. Never use the word "militia." You're only a fitness trainer that uses a military regimine.

Even if bug burgers were delicious, bug populations are the most affected by climate and environmental change. If we actually moved to bug burgers, we would be moving to a very unreliable food source. That alone makes it unsuitable.

2
okboomer59 2 points ago +2 / -0

If anthropogenic climate change were a real threat

2
preferredfault 2 points ago +2 / -0

The climate changes all the time naturally. It's attributing it to man made reasons that is retarded. Believing it would just always remain the same is equally retarded.

I always clarify by using the word ""anthropogenic ", meaning "caused by man ".

33
fclampazzo 33 points ago +33 / -0

This kind of thing is why I really resent libtards. The government oppresses us, sure. But it's the libtards who really enable this kind of thing. They're all distracted with their pronouns and virtue signaling while we're all about to have issues sourcing bread for our tables. Where's BLM rioting over the entire city becoming a food desert?

There was a reason the founders wanted white, land-owning males to vote only. I'd settle for just land-owning or income tax net-payer in modern times.

They're keeping independant contractors from running loads on their trucks. This goes back to that stupid gig economy bill Cali passed where they are trying to force uber lift etc etc into unions.

20
IamDevo 20 points ago +20 / -0

Paying people not to work because they have .0001% of dying from the cold didn't quite work out as well as all the dumbass UBI tards thought.

3
BigDickTurner 3 points ago +6 / -3

There are valid arguments for a UBI, but not if it's set as high as they want it.

For example, the fat scroungers with 7 kids by 8 fathers who're in the shop buying fancy shit on ebt. One of the ubi plans takes the current welfare budget and redistributes it to every citizen as a "citizen's dividend" which rewards us all for the success of the nation. No extra money for irresponsible breeders and non-citizens. Nobody getting more by scamming the system. Nobody able to live a good life without working. Nobody paid to not work while the rest of us pay for them.

There are still arguments against it, and it should never be a full salary, but it's not as insane as the left make it sound with their ridiculous expectations of free riches.

5
mulejuicemcquaid 5 points ago +7 / -2

Yeah, I'm open to the UBI conversation considering how much money we already spend on welfare in this country. If we consolidated all the programs into a simple UBI system (less government offices needed), lowered incentives for multiple children and single parent homes, then I'd be fine watching poor people buying steaks and cigs with their UBI while I invested mine in my future. You can fund it in different ways, including tariffs on imports which also encourages native industry. And you wouldn't need Social Security, as it's a pyramid scheme in the process of breaking already.

Because if leftists don't want to work, let them live in their dream 20 square foot apartment of the future eating bug meat and living sustainably by gardening on their windowsill. I'll keep working, eat real meat, and live in a comfortable home with a few high priced luxuries. Win/win in my view.

0
BigDickTurner 0 points ago +1 / -1

I'm surprised I got a positve reply to that around here. Well said, and thanks.

0
Sesquame 0 points ago +1 / -1

The problem is that there's no such thing as clearing out the welfare that already exists. I agree it wouldn't be a bad idea as proposed, but the problem is:

  1. The original reason the welfare state ball got rolling in the first place is that it's an easy sell to voters that "No one should be starving/dying in the streets"

  2. There are people who, no matter what income they get given will have that income disappear within moments and still have them unable to make ends meet.

What happens when you clear out all the previous welfare programs in favor of UBI, and then the media starts plastering pictures of the poor destitute individual dying of blah blah blah getting evicted for not paying rent and with 5 children with no shoes? 5 minutes later we have a welfare state all over again.

2
armedprincess23 2 points ago +2 / -0

What did people do before welfare? That would be the path. Churches and community food banks and clothing give aways. We have made it too comfortable on welfare. There used to be shame to it and that is gone, it needs to come back.

1
BigDickTurner 1 point ago +1 / -0

If it were me in charge, I'd do like the 'rats do - ignore the people entirely and arrest my political enemies, the media, on made up charges.

Of course in practice I agree with you, it would be a difficult transition for which I have no guaranteed solution. Perhaps inviting the complainers to donate their own money instead of ours would be effective?

great for borrowers

8
talltellmanson 8 points ago +8 / -0

This is only true if inflation remains stable.

If however, you intend on causing an economic meltdown via rapid inflation, then to "save the day" you instantly cut the money supply down by 90+% and cause another great depression by which everyone forecloses on their loans, nobody can find work and the banks end up swallowing every piece of property and asset that exists... Its just another day in life under the control of a central bank.

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered" - Thomas Jefferson

And every wage-earner is a lender. What is a dollar but a debt owed by the national bank to the holder of the note?

It's a good thing for the fed because they can pay off our past debts easier without becoming insolvent.

Bad for literally everyone elsw

pay off our past debts easier

That's pretty funny. When's the last time you saw or heard a politician talking about actually paying off debts?

We pay interest on the debt. It is easier to pay that when the dollars we borrowed were worth more than the ones we print to pay it.

I could have been more clear.

We warned them time and time again to not let the geriatric Chinese pedophile and puppet into office. Sure, there were very few people who actually voted for him - but none of that fucking matters. TOO MANY people voted for Biden. I don't give a fuck if it was 10 million, 5 million or 100 thousand. Too many American citizens used their voting rights and put in a geriatric with clear dementia

and when the election was stolen they never even bothered to think that the numbers were way off. Fuck these people. Fuck them and all they stand for. Fuck the major tech giants for making this happen. This cheating would not have gone on as hard as it did if social media and the MSM didn't censor and gaslight on the story.

"She then suggested the disruptions could also affect the publication of a new book she was writing, adding that "paper shortages, worker shortages and the traffic jams at shipping ports" were "endangering holiday books sales."

So if you were going to pick up any wrong-think books, we are burning them :)

Lower expectations of sales, deary.

You are probably correct, books are going to be luxury items. Anything not food, and even lots of that, luxury items.

I would hope that people are not blaming stores and employees. Everyone I KNOW is blaming #FJB

6
sustainable_saltmine 6 points ago +6 / -0

well if the stores are firing workers for not masking or being jab-less then yes it's the stores' fault too

11
sustainable_saltmine 11 points ago +11 / -0

the scamdemic affected supply chain in that the VAX MANDATES are putting people out of work for refusing, THAT'S what's creating a "worker shortage" if there even IS one. This is ALL about the government forcing employers to mandate the jab and the current illegitimate admin WANTS a supply shortage. Like masks for young kids, to "get them used to it" so they grow up never questioning why, they just "#MaskUp" when they're told to, they want you conditioned to paying more, getting less and submitting to the Government to decide how much you're allowed to have and when.

Fox News helped usher in Biden's America.

The irony.

The coronavirus pandemic was over last fucking year. People didn’t stop eating food just because they were on lockdown. The US aside from a few cucked liberal cities has been reopened and running for months.

If anything these shortages should’ve been at their peak last year when shit was shutdown. To ascribe them to anything aside than from the direct result of Biden’s incompetence would be entirely disingenuous

When you find yourself anticipating the day that the feds come haul you off to the Gulag, I’d say my expectations are pretty low. I’ll try to go lower. Thanks for the advice, WaPo.

There’s a reason I live in America and not some third world shit hole. We don’t expect to have to lower our expectations. We expect you to put America first. If you did that there wouldn’t be any issues.

When the right does something stupid, the headline is about what they did.

When the left does something stupid, the headline is about how it has the right clutching their pearls in anger.

Why are you still linking to Fux News? This hasn't been covered by a patriot source? That's impossible to believe.

This was so predictable that leftists would blame Biden’s failures on COVID and then embrace the new normal to the point of actually defending it. I saw this coming a mile away.

How dare customers complain about an artificial shortage caused by Democrats and their insidious policies. Well I guess we might as well just give in to communism now and throw in the towel, what do you say guys? No? Well clearly you're all just spoiled and pampered. Not like the politicians who rule over you with an iron fist.

It’s hilarious the state run media isn’t covering the transportation shortage is because California emissions policies are causing the bottleneck.

For some reason the ports outside of Washington, Florida or Texas are not crushed.

This is a replay of how the press treated Carter. According to them, it was a problem with the United States, not a problem with the President. The Presidency was 'too big for one man.' All the same bullshit to excuse an absolutely incompetent twit and his cabinet of morons.
