I live in Central Texas and they are everywhere. Until today, I avoided them because I knew they were from Cali. But now, I will be going there as many chances as I get!

And make it "Animal Style" with animal style fries!

The_kool_mom 1 point ago +1 / -0

Or if you're Keto, they'll hook you up with "Protein style"!

In-N-Out is a fantastic company. Check the wrappers and bottoms of the cups for hidden messages, you may be pleasantly surprised.

panthicc 3 points ago +3 / -0

You've been missing out! Make sure to check the bottom of your cup and wrappers before you toss em for a nice surprise. :)

P. Terry’s?! They don’t even have sweet tea. I WILL NOT support any business in Texas that does not offer sweet tea. It’s hard to trust a business from Austin, with a veggie burger on the menu, and no sweet tea.

They're not everywhere LOL

There's a couple in San Antonio, and a couple in Austin. Now Whataburger is EVERYWHERE.

I'm in NC too. I don't see where it's compromised. Nothing has changed about my life since the beginning of this whole thing except getting better.

We just need a new governor.

1
Wokism 1 point ago +1 / -0

Our LT Governor is BASED. I’m in one of the bluest city’s in the whole state. I constantly have to remind myself that things are different outside my area.

1
ERIC_CIARAMELLA 1 point ago +1 / -0

They are, man. I'm in Gastonia. Life is pretty much normal except for the few bleeding heart retards. Kids gotta wear masks in schools still because of a few reeeeetards, but it's all gravy here.

No one wears masks in public and those who do are the exact kind of person you expect them to be.

Come on over sometime, cost of living's great and plenty of houses to buy.

1
Wokism 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah, houses here are selling like mad. If it’s in “livable” condition you can expect multiple offers over asking. If it’s new or newly remodeled, forget about it.

So nice to hear NC hasn’t lost its soul (yet). The battle rages and hopefully this awakening will help keep NC red.

Whataburger. Period. In-n-Out makes their living by adding surplus lettuce and tomatoes to their burgers. It's okay, but it doesn't compare to Whataburger in any way whatsoever.

2
TyroneBison 2 points ago +2 / -0

Try a 3 by 3 (3 patties / 3 cheese) or up to a 10 by 10 to outweigh the lettuce and tomatoes.

2
Everquest4Life 2 points ago +2 / -0

Double Double Animal Style, Animal Style fries, Shake.

Whataburger is as iconic Texas as it gets, but there's definitely a place for In-n-Out Burger.

Oh and Braums hamburgers are pretty amazing as well!

1
Easter_Bunny 1 point ago +1 / -0

Whataburger makes it known they're Christians right on the window of the establishment, In-N-Out hides barely puts something hidden on the bottom of their cups.

5
RogueLeaderX 5 points ago +5 / -0

You think you're state is compromised? I'm in NY!

4
panthicc 4 points ago +4 / -0

I stopped eating fast food a while ago... with In-N-Out being my singular exception. On top of serving great cheap food and treating their employees well, they're a legitimately based company.

I don't go there often, but I'm going there tonight. :)

4
alienjesus 4 points ago +5 / -1

There are several in-n-out’s in Dallas. Look them up.

3
rightoverthere 3 points ago +4 / -1

ya same with vegas. but as a brand they are so cal

1
EvanOnTheFly 1 point ago +2 / -1

You have no idea what you are talking about. They are super popular here in Dallas. They are "Texas Themed" to an extent.

1
rightoverthere 1 point ago +1 / -0

i'm sure they would be popular in montana. doesn't mean they can / should be a montana based company

3
Nighknight 3 points ago +3 / -0

Floridian here and never had in-out burger so if they could relocate here that’d be great!

2
Bigger_igloo 2 points ago +2 / -0

We have one in my city in TX

2
mass55th 2 points ago +2 / -0

If we had any of them in my neck of the woods, I'd patronize them. I live in the wrong part of the country.

2
SenileJoe 2 points ago +2 / -0

There are 22 in Dallas- Fort Worth, but only 3 in Houston.

CA native here, but avoiding the state like the plague. I’ve always loved In n Out, and will never pass up the opportunity to stop at one while on the road in any state they serve. I went into the Keizer OR location north of Salem, right off I-5 without a mask last weekend, and was 1 of 5 of the unmasked out of at least 100 patrons stacked inside, with at least a 45 minute wait. The employees didn’t care about us being unmasked, and the other customers didn’t seem to care. Drive-thru 50 cars deep split in two lines. Busiest in n out I’ve ever seen after visiting that location a few times. Amazing business who stands by their morals, promoting a solid based culture, and where I will always spend my money! Your dollar is your vote! Secret menu tip: fries animal style, medium well done. Burger with COLD CHEESE and light chili peppers (trust me on this one - game changer).

2
Everquest4Life 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hot tip! I haven't tried the cold cheese!

penguinjay1212 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think cookout puts the gospel on their cups and bags.

They might would be our local joint to stand up.

It's terrible in NC thanks to this faggot Cooper. We're worse off than some blue states.

Florida loves a good burger. Hopefully you can open stores here after closing the ones in communist states.

1
Easter_Bunny 1 point ago +1 / -0

Y'all, Florida and Texas can't do everything.

Get your shit together. Stand up.

In-N-Out is a good California company, you think they should just run?

If y'all stood up when required instead of running err time we wouldn't be where we're at, now would we?

1
HubbyYee 1 point ago +1 / -0

I've loved In-n-Out and they're one of the things I miss about America and California. They should have left the state Years ago.

1
covok48 1 point ago +1 / -0

Burgers ok. Fries suck.

For fucks sake Pedes don’t turn this into another Chick Fil A.

1
Rageofpepe 1 point ago +1 / -0

They have them in AZ as well

1
WhyTee1 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm happy to see that they took a stand, but In N Out isn't the stellar company they portray themselves to be. Lots of fuckery goes on. I know I worked for them for 14 years, including as a store manager. I know lots of people speak highly about them cause they like the food and the concept, but they don't have any clue as to what goes on.

Again, happy they stood up for what is right, but In N for does have a long track record of Fucking people up the ass when it suits them

Hardeez is probably the best I've been to, for fast food. It's a shame there are no locations anywhere near where I live. It's just trash like McDs.

2
AL_Rise 2 points ago +2 / -0

I've got Hardee's here. It's great!

3
Rydanovich 3 points ago +3 / -0

Monsterthick burger and fries. I'm not sure how many others do it, but our place brings the fries out on this huge plate. Some of the best fries I've had, from anywhere.

Reminds me of this place in the Highlands, the Fusion steakhouse. Fantastic steak and noodles.

Texas has Whataburger which is far superior to In-N-Out Burger (I've had both).

My ranking based on personal experience:

  1. Whataburger

  2. Hardees (Carl's Jr.)

  3. Burger King

  4. Five Guys

  5. Wendy's

  6. Sonic

  7. In-N-Out Burger

  8. Steak 'n Shake

  9. Culver's

  10. White Castle

  11. McDonald's

  12. Johnny Rockets

  13. Dairy Queen Brazier (for the more rural areas where it's the only option)

3
Pedecounter 3 points ago +3 / -0

I can't imagine what planet you live on where trash like burger king and carl's jr is on any list other than a list of places to never eat at. Their food is so bad I legitimately don't understand how they are still in business at all.

walls4america 2 points ago +2 / -0

In the 1990s I used to go to Fatburger in Palm Springs, CA. (If I remember right, the chain was also in Nevada besides Southern California.) Was it irony that this Fatburger was situated in the parking area in front of my Gold’s gym?? LOL Despite the name, the burgers weren’t full of fat, but were thick like what you’d have on a grill and had fresh, healthy ingredients.

Edit: BTW, during my lifetime I’ve also had In-N-Out, Whataburger, Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr., Burger King, Five Guys, Wendy’s, Sonic, Steak ‘n Shake, White Castle, Culver’s, and McDonald’s. I think Fatburger was still the best.

1
Everquest4Life 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fat Burger makes a world class hamburger. I may have to agree with you having all those above as well. Really phenomenal.

1
Whenagain 1 point ago +2 / -1

I like & respect the list, just surprised BK is as high as you have it!

2
GrumpyGrumpus 2 points ago +2 / -0

I like flame broiled. Problem is the local BK in the town I live in suffers from poor management. The place is filthy, the employees don't care, they get the orders wrong too often, and I've only ever gotten cold soggy fries from there. So I avoid it locally.
