Exactly!

The left hates normal, loving families. It's why they push homosexuality and feminism so much.

That shit changes you, instantly and forever.. I never feared death until I had a child, now I worry I won't be around long enough to watch out for them.

sunnyingreenfield 34 points ago +34 / -0

My boy is 3. He is my first (and only) child. 100% his arrival changed my life for the better. I thought I was pretty prepared for having a child. A change in my thoughts on mortality never crossed my mind before he showed up :)

Keep teaching them self-reliance, the joys of independence, and the love of freedom. God bless you all.

sordfysh 16 points ago +16 / -0

Remember that it is against God's will for us to fear death. I know that I'm not in a place to sympathize with you, but remember that death has been conquered.

Jesus said some pretty radical things about how you must love your family to follow Him. I could never measure up, but I hope you know what I'm talking about.

There's a reason why so many people in the New Testament never had children of their own. God wants us to have children, but like Abraham, he wants us to love Him more than our children that he blesses us with.

Jesus brought peace to our souls, but he did not bring peace to earth. The people were looking for someone to release their physical bonds, but they got something much better: release from their spiritual bonds. Jesus still is the Prince of Peace.

We know that we should fight for earthly peace and justice and it will be bone-chilling. And God showed us that we are called as his children to fight for the lost sheep and keep his flock. And that we in fact are our brother's keeper. Jesus did not die peacefully. He actually died in severe agony, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

But he brings us peace in our souls. We are asked to sacrifice our earthly body to reunite with our true family under God, our Father.

Terrible things can happen to us on this earth. We can lose our children and spouses. If we love God first, and only fear him, then we can handle horrific events and not let them break us.

I pray that we can be strong enough in our faith to handle such events, but never need to test it.

And it never changes. My children have grown up, but they will always be my babies.

14
Lilyfarmer 14 points ago +14 / -0

I agree. I saw a quote once and it said something like "Being a good parent is hard because you have to be a good person to raise good people. " that struck me deeply. I love my children more than anything on this earth.

4
abouttime4444 4 points ago +4 / -0

Even more than your phone?! It's really hard to find parents that live their kids more than their phone these days 😪

6
Lilyfarmer 6 points ago +6 / -0

That's a very sad and sometimes true observation. I wouldn't mind going back to the days of land lines. Children shouldn't have to compete against a screen for their parents attention

8
abouttime4444 8 points ago +9 / -1

I'm a school bus driver. My elementary runs are heart wrenching. These kids are waving good bye, yelling i love you. Parents don't even look up. Moms are so much worse than dads! Half the time I don't even think they realize they got out of the car and onto the bus.

5
Lilyfarmer 5 points ago +6 / -1

Social media is highly addictive, moreso for women. Too bad by the time those women realize what they missed out on their kids will be gone and all they'll have to show is a vapid Instagram account no one gives a shit about.

My wife has always been intelligent and responsible in thinking. Since having children, her brain has taken at least 25% cognitive decline in memory and decision making. There’s a reason patriarchy dominates.

8
sordfysh 8 points ago +10 / -2

You need Christianity. Because while the wife subjects herself to the husband, the husband considers the wife's body and mind as his own.

If the husband stops considering his wife's body and mind and soul as his own, then the wife may stop submitting.

This is based in our submission to God. We submit to God because God has our best interests at heart. If He didn't, we would be right to question Him and doubt Him. Even in out doubt, however, he does not stop caring for us and saving us from our mistakes.

It's not a political thing. It's a Christian thing.

Don't kiss your kid on the lips. That a Biden tradition.

21

I saw a grown man smack his mom on the lips at a bus station. I was very confused.

28

3
coolhandcuke 3 points ago +3 / -0

There was a couple behind me in line once that kept loudly kissing and I figured they were boyfriend and girlfriend. I turned around and it was actually a father and a his teen daughter.. Ick.

3
Random_Dude 3 points ago +3 / -0

Wtf?

When I was in college, a girl I knew had weird parents. Her dad would come visit and take naps in her dorm bed. A buddy married her. Then she left him for a high school girl. I wasn’t exactly shocked.

7
BadManOrange 7 points ago +17 / -10

I used to always get confused when I'd see parents kiss their kids on the lips. I'd feel gross even considering it.

6
FancyNancy 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yeah totally weird to me too.

3
Verrerogo 3 points ago +9 / -6

Can we go back to the days when women didn't dress like whores? Signed, a woman.

6
Random_Dude 6 points ago +7 / -1

I just got back from Walmart and I don’t think that is happening anytime soon. In a few years my daughters will hate me when i tell them that I don’t care what anyone else wears they are not dressing like working girls.

2
newuser999 2 points ago +2 / -0

Vice promotes sex work for girls.

4
JediMasterGandalf 4 points ago +5 / -1

Society today has eschewed half of the old saying: A woman should dress like a lady in public and a whore in the bedroom.

2
markolbb 2 points ago +2 / -0

In modern times we say "lady on the streets and a freak in the sheets"

3
MAGADutchPEDE 3 points ago +6 / -3

3
Verrerogo 3 points ago +4 / -1

Hurray for this idea, of women dressing another way.

There are few nice clothes available at all.

But yes there are some. Especially online.

Any woman can buy a skirt online. Or uncomplicated dress.

There may be a need to learn to sew a simple skirt. Especially for young girls. Not so easy to find nice clothes for them in the stores.

There are simple, cheap sewing machines. You just need one stitch. Again, available online.

With very simple sewing, a woman could add a lengthening piece or ruffle to the skirts you can buy. For the children especially. They grow fast, and the skirt still fits in the waist but becomes too short because she is taller. Her mother could add length.

NADSAQ 0 points ago +1 / -1

Now women dress like 80’s moms and whore it on social media. I’d rather have the other.

Nice pictures, very easy on the eyes. So much is going on in emotion and general bliss. Really makes me think about how much art sucks now.

Marriage and family is ordained by God.

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Genesis 2:24 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/gen.2.24.KJV

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. Ephesians 5:31 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/eph.5.31.KJV
