Because let them take me to Court and try. Lets do this all another way people.

Vaccinated Staff who are comfortable disclosing medical information now cost more. Lots more. Don't like it? Fine then don't ask for a Vaccinated Tech or find another company.

Doesn't that imply that the “vaxxed” tech is in higher demand and “worth” more?

If I were a libtard, that’s how I would interpret it.

Now if you were to simply charge more to visit “vaccinated” homes vs. non-vaxxed, that would send a message. (And not disclose any medical info about your people)

And the excuse could be “danger pay” to the tech, for going into a home potentially containing more dangerous variants.

I'm with this comment. I don't like that you're still playing their game. Like saying Bruce Jenner is a woman.... affirming their psychosis.

mytummyhurts 38 points ago +39 / -1

No, Milton Friedman had a great explanation for things like wage gap and racial discrimination in the workplace. The woman, the gay, the black, the Jew, all have a powerful weapon, the willingness to work for a lower wage. It comes down to this: make them pay for their bigotry.

SecondProtectsFirst 9 points ago +11 / -2

Jews willing to work? For a low wage? Pfffffft

BrandonIsTraitor [S] 18 points ago +22 / -4

Im Jewish.

I would kindly ask that people judge me for who and what i am, not for the heritage I gained by accident of birth.

peterstrzoked 6 points ago +6 / -0

Many years ago, I was waiting in line at the express checkout at the grocery store after work.

I had a deli sub and a soda for dinner and I was late for my Warcraft raid.

The man in front of me was Jewish. He had exactly 15 items (the limit) in his basket.

After the clerk had rang up almost all of his items, he starts pulling shit out of the cargo pockets of his shorts. Easily another 15 more things. (He could have just stolen them, but no, he was just trying to cheat the express limit)

The clerk gives him the stink eye, but she’s already got like 14 things rung up and bagged; she’s committed. She finishes ringing up his shit.

After it’s all rang up, he pulls the stack of coupons out of his pocket. I swear to god he had a coupon for each of his 30 fucking items. Some of the coupons weren’t good and he tried to argue with her about it, but when everyone behind him started shouting (probably myself included) he decided to let it go.

I don’t care what religion someone is, if they pull shit like that they are a piece of shit in my book.

Poopybuttboy 3 points ago +3 / -0

Chutzpah, bend every rule and exploit every loophole.

peterstrzoked 2 points ago +2 / -0

Some cultures value and appreciate that - I hear the Chinese idolize a good swindler.

I personally think it’s shitty to inconvenience everyone else because you don’t give a shit.

But I’m entitled to my opinion just like others are entitled to engage in what I consider to be unacceptable behavior - and I’m okay with that. That’s part of living in a society.

But this idea that I should feel bad for having an opinion because some group wants to act shitty and not be called out for it is fucking absurd.

DONT_reply_with_THIS 2 points ago +3 / -1

There’s a reason jews have that reputation, it’s true.

My buddy is a mechanic and had a jew client. She would nit pick every dime. He also plowed her driveway and it was like pulling teeth getting her to pay a bill even though she was well off.

He had to imply “if you’re having money problems let me know and we can work something out” and she knew he was a loud mouth and would tell people so she would pay.

peterstrzoked 5 points ago +5 / -0

I’m not going to judge someone of X group by X stereotype unless they exhibit X stereotype, but there’s a reason stereotypes exist and we should embrace it.

Don’t want to be considered a cheap and stingy Jew? Don’t be cheap and stingy.

Don’t want to be considered a lazy worthless jogger? Don’t be a lazy worthless jogger, etc.

Pretending that certain groups aren’t what many of them are just enables them to continue poor behavior.

I lived in Florida for many years and had a distain for New Yorkers.

My Jewish (self hating jew, was hilarious) roommate and I were eating breakfast in a bakery one morning talking about how much we hated New Yorkers and how they act like they are better than everyone else, and this lady at the table next to us interrupts our conversation to tell us that if we had only lived in Manhattan and knew how great it was, we would understand why New Yorkers are better than everyone else.

We were dumbfounded by her lack of self awareness - and no, she wasn’t making a joke or trying to be ironic, we thought that at first too - but she made sure to let us know that she was being completely serious.

I have friends from New York and I love Trumps NY style - but this idea that it’s bad to put people in groups is retarded. It’s human nature - just like being born with an XY or an XX chromosome. Trying to pretend that reality isn’t reality isn’t unhealthy.

Husky 5 points ago +6 / -1

Don't entertain that kind of thing. There are a small number of people that claim to be jewish that are a problem. The vehement disdain for "the jews" started as a psyop. Its not "jews" that's the problem, it's "Jews." Its globalist bankers, that arent even jewish, that have claimed to be jewish for generations.

Kinkinnatus 6 points ago +7 / -1

By "Jews" they really mean the rich families whom couldn't be forced to lend at no interest to finance the Napoleonic Wars.

BrandonIsTraitor [S] 1 point ago +3 / -2

We both know. And good and bad comes in all forms. Its not exclusive to any one race. However if all you ever see are the worst of a race, it surely can and will give us all the wrong idea.

I can truly only answer for my own actions and deeds. And id ask only to be judged on that, and offer the same in kind.

IQ is the highest correlating factor to wages

(X) Doubt

Is this filtering out highly specialized academic fields and comparing apples to apples?

I'm pretty sure within a single field, wages are most correlated to ability to negotiate. And across industry, IQ has nothing to do with what fields are most valued any more than hard work and labor does. Men are not paid according to their ability or effort. Only how much someone wants what they produce.

deleted 4 points ago +4 / -0
BeardedNinjaPede 1 point ago +2 / -1

I'm in a "highly technical specialized field". Once everyone has more or less the same degree, pay is determined more by personality than ability. Sometimes the smartest are paid the least because they don't care to chat everyone up and be funny.

Cetera 1 point ago +1 / -0

This is a true observation, but isn't actually relevant to the point random is making. If everyone in the same room all has the ability to meet the minimum requirements to accomplish a task, the ones who the bosses like the most in that room will make the most money.

Random is talking about the abilities required to get into the room, and the differences in wages between that room, and a different room.

This theory is shot all to hell when super smart successful people adopt children from birth, from another race as their own.

IQ is more of a factor of what’s learned between 0-6 years of age. Imposing our IQ testing of how we’ve been nurtured, would be equal to us being testing on the knowledge we have (edit: have have to have) to stay alive in filthy slum, and believing us to be defective bc if we didn’t.

I know that will probably piss off a lot of people, but it’s the truth. Hereditary absolutely does play a role, but it is a very small one.

What’s learned intellectually between the ages of birth-6yrs, is way more powerful than acquired knowledge and understanding.

It also sets the psycho/emotional foundation, as well.

deleted 13 points ago +13 / -0
Forbidden_outcast 0 points ago +1 / -1

Thank you for your response. I cannot speak to the latest studies and guides, I can only speak to my own knowledge of how I’ve seen things play out over the years.

It may sound like I was proposing the blank slate theory, but I truly wasn’t.

We have several very poor, super rural family members that are just one step above tar shacks, and you actually have to drive through tar shack homes to get to their homes.

I remember my mother coming home in shock a few years back, bc she had taken some old toys to one of the other family’s toddlers/young children. The little one just went crazy over the toys, learning toys, and its parents were shocked that learning could be fun.

Now of course, we know that all baby toys are learning toys, but this was a revelation to this family member, which in turn, shocked Mom and myself. How can anyone alive in this day and age not know that? and, of course-the pain for the child who has imbeciles for parents.

What I had in mind mostly, when writing the previous post- was celebrity kids, for example. Their kids will have been given the best opportunities to learn and expand their inquisitiveness. (Yes I do know IQ is not acquired knowledge, btw, and I know mine, and all but one of my kids’ IQ.)

They should automatically score on comparable iQ’s as the adoptive parents. What about Asians, Nigerians, and some Indians? Will their IQ’s lower when placed with a white family?

There’s hereditary knowledge, as well, which may be where some of the attributable gene studies come in. Yes, it’s true- if a person lives in exquisite happiness or mind-numbing boredom or harm, certain genes being expressed may become dormant or dominant. Some may even cease to exist, but that doesn’t mean that everyone is not capable of higher intelligence, just that those genes have not been expressed throughout their local lines of heritage, but they are capable of having them inserted or turned on. (Is that really a world we want to head into, though, bc it looks like people way smarter and more energetic and dedicated than us are trying to lead us down this exact path.)

Intelligence Quotients are not the end-all/be all. Let someone in your own family be discounted or believe themselves dumb because they can’t perform on some test someone else developed and administered to them. Even though their IQ is still higher than the average IQ.

It’s a great way to go through life when you have a high IQ, and a horrible way to go through life if you can’t meet up to someone else’s arbitrarily defined capabilities to which they contribute intelligence.

I’ve experienced both sides of that coin, and let me tell you- it’s no way to go through life to discard the whole person. (And this tidbit involves only me and family. I am not speaking to races of people at this moment.)

It’s also why we have a whole lot of really smart dumb people walking around today, and also- a whole lot of really dumb smart people having to cleaning up after them.

That’s probably the kicker for me, and why I don’t pay attention to IQ. I mean I do, but only when when I first and foremost see them as human and worthy without having a high-IQ. (If that makes any sense.)

I look at it a different way myself. The Vaccinated are a larger burden on the system, therefore costs are increased, and I must charge more.

If customers accept the vaccinated as "more valuable", I'm more than happy to cash in on their ignorance, and pay my team more money.

I have NO problem extracting cash out of people that hate me. Because I use that cash for things they hate about me, and there is nothing they can do to stop me.

hellohellohellohello 5 points ago +9 / -4

I agree with your sentiment on this, but I strongly disagree as a matter of tactics - this idea seems brilliant to me - it confronts the customers with the real world costs and consequences of these lunatic mandates and shutdowns. If strategies like this had taken off earlier in the pandemic, I think we would be in a much better spot right now.

He can couch the steeper fees as "hazard pay" because few techs are actually willing to go through with the vaccination.

I think charging vaccinated homes would seem overly partisan and could be spun by our adversaries, just like the stores and restaurants that ban customers who wear masks. It's very satisfying for us to see it, but it probably hurts our cause because it makes us look unserious and reactionary.

JoseyWalesEchidna 3 points ago +3 / -0

Play by their rules. Forget optics.

Annpi 3 points ago +3 / -0

Since HIPAA doesn't seem to matter anymore, ask customers their vax status, if vaxd $200/hour, if unvaxd $100/hour.

It's to protect your employees and business, remember... we are all in this together.

midgetpornrocks 3 points ago +3 / -0

I'd even consider doing a double premium:

  1. If you are vaccinated, we will charge a hazard fee for potentially exposing our staff to variants and other virally contagious diseases.

  2. If you want a vaccinated technician, we will charge an additional fee because they have been claiming more sick time.

XxxRDTPRNxxX 2 points ago +2 / -0

Doesn't that imply that the “vaxxed” tech is in higher demand and “worth” more?

Or they have a lower supply... Cuz remember demand isn't the only thing that matters.

Makes sense to me.

How much do you think the surcharge should be? I'd make it pretty hysterical. like 2x the price, at least.

defroach84 27 points ago +27 / -0

What if the vaxxed techs demand higher pay than the non-vaxxed techs due to this surcharge? Could this policy inadvertently push staff to get vaxxed thinking the vaxxed employee is worth more?

Forbidden_outcast 9 points ago +10 / -1

If he owns the company, he just say “No”

myswedishfriend 25 points ago +25 / -0

This makes no sense.

Wouldn't the correct message be that as an employer, it is none of your business which of your employees is vaccinated, and as the customer, it is definitely none of their business to know the health information of their computer tech? Has it ever been acceptable for a customer to say "Hey, don't send a tech that has HIV or herpes. And I'm going to need to see a clean test."

Is this a thing that happens often? Customers requesting a vaccinated tech? If this is really happening, the better strategy would be to reciprocate and send the potential customer a questionnaire asking all kinds of personal health information. Say it's required if they expect you to intrude on the privacy of your employees. Then ask for a doctor's note or lab test as proof of what they claim on the form.

But in practice, this is ridiculous and takes time and effort. You could simply tell the customer that you don't intrude by asking your employees to prove their health status. If they insist, tell them to have a good day; it isn't a service you provide and you don't promote medical discrimination. Done.

bonejack 4 points ago +4 / -0

I was thinking the same thing. Plus, it makes no sense for them to even ask. It has been shown over and over that someone who is vaccinated can spread covid just as much, if not more, than someone unvaccinated. It drives me nuts that a huge part of society just ignores that when talking about the vaccines and mandates.

thebest2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not cool. We all are vaccinated at one point or another...

Defenition of vaccinated is "to inoculate with a vaccine in order to produce immunity to an infectious disease such as diphtheria or typhus"

Therefore unless someone has managed to get away with 0 vaccines all their life... then default answer is yes vaccinated.

Just teach your techs to skirt the issue and if customer or tech is uncomfortable tell them and end the relationship.

If you want to foster relationships with customers that align with you thats the best way to deal with this...

I've told many clients sorry its not working out before. One wanted to get me to sign up for this stupid networking group in the community. Then got mad because I said i don't have time for it and kept demanding same day service just to be an ass. Never sign a contract and you can leave whenever you want.

cosmos411 16 points ago +16 / -0

I'd ask if the customer was vaxxed. If yes then charge them more because of the added risk they could be infected and not have any symptoms.

SaltySteffie 6 points ago +6 / -0

Companies ONLY care about their bottom line (perhaps not OP's), that's why they made us(I didn't) take the vax. All this talk of working from home being the most productive thing, yada yada. Companies aren't stupid, they could tell people were logging in and doing 15 minutes of work every hour at best.

Not only do we have money backed by nothing, but our companies are backed by nothing. The economy didn't just grind to a halt, life and productivity did.

How do we have so much wide spread labor shortages in higher earning positions when we have basically the same population?

What's the old saying, "you must work to eat"? Well I know a LOT of people making 70-110k/year who sat around rocking Netflix talking about how their job "doesn't require that much work" and they love it.

It drove me insane, I hated sitting at home working 4 hours a day at most feeling like my life was passing by. But apparently most people are really stoked about that opportunity. And now we're here, I think lockdown broke a lot of people's already weak work ethics with a long summer vacation.

And now back to school is going to be a lot of pain. And that's just to add to the supply chain shortages.

I don't know what the fallout is because I'm not an economist or prophet. But I'd imagine, when half of society didn't do shit for 20 months, the next 20 months are going to be real hard.

High food prices, minimal food, hardly any product and progress...I don't even know what else. But I'd imagine at a minimum a bad recession and likely an actual depression (though they won't call it that).

Eu-is-socialist 1 point ago +2 / -1

Falling_ferret 1 point ago +3 / -2

I slide between wanting to see the world if the selfish burn and just seeing the world go back to "normal"(not to be confused with going back to sleep).

At this point, I'd settle for a full revival of the church, restoration of the spirit of liberty to the nation and people focusing on God, family and liberty again.

But it seems the most we'll get is a nice slide into socialism and death of those of us who will resist. Perhaps that's what it takes to create the new world I long for, and I'm ok with that I suppose.

FearDaNazgulz 6 points ago +7 / -1

One thought that comes to mind is the nunber of vaxxed vs unvaxxed staff. Can you afford to lose the vaxers? I'm not trying to imply anything about your process, I just don't want a fellow pede to fail if possible.

FreedomFlowerDelta 5 points ago +5 / -0

LAnderson 3 points ago +4 / -1

TheFountainhead 3 points ago +3 / -0

Then the vaxxed tech will demand more. And probably be in higher demand based on libtardation.

I like where you are going with it, but this particular approach is going to backfire.

The best approach would be to ask the clients vax status and then add a surcharge. Restaurants add COVID surcharges for no fucking reason. You can too.
