I love that they spend our future money on their stupid pet projects and can’t even pass basically anything without it being 99% pork

Literally fuck these kleptocrats I’m so sick of pretending to just be mildly annoyed by them when in reality I’m fucking enraged

FaRmErX2000 182 points ago +186 / -4

They aren’t spending future dollars they are accelerating inflation to get on us on the vaccine/digital ID with a fed crypto they can lock you out of when your behaviour is... problematic ( my only complaint about this forum is the extreme lack of interest in monetary metals and what we can do to prepare , opt out )

One of the grandfathers of all this socialist crap was FDR and he made it illegal to own and trade gold unless you were selling it to the feds. Exceptions like some jewelry and collectibles were there but you couldn't have bullion. You think these commies won't do the same thing ?

And the minute crypto currency seriously threatens banks or dollar printing, they'll move in. As it is, they're trying to cash in, on capital gains.

Crypto is stupidly energy inefficient. one Bitcoin trade uses as much energy as an average family in a month. Can't see how that is sustainable or profitable. Maybe viable because fiat currency is even worse.

20
TurdSammich 20 points ago +20 / -0

Well... a bitcoin is worth more than the electricity costs to produce it or no one would be mining... so if the transaction fee is a couple bucks you can safely assume its less than a couple dollars of electricity... which is not what a family uses in a month.

XRP is no different then the USD, with Ripple acting as the US Fed for their coin.

BTC is the only coin where that monetary policy is fully hands off, and thus incorruptible by humans.

1
Retardloserimsogay 1 point ago +2 / -1

Off topic. Any thoughts on pulsechain?

1
NomadicKrow2 1 point ago +2 / -1

Ethereum 2.0 blockchain will solve the gas fee problem, though. If it ever comes out.

6
Redneckathon 6 points ago +6 / -0

Not accurate. Sending and mining are completely different. Many coins are proof of stake which require no miners.

6

3
OXIE 3 points ago +3 / -0

Actually the creation of a bitcoin is part of the protocol and is done automatically using virtually zero energy.

Who gets possession of that bitcoin is done by solving a puzzle which is made difficult because there are so many competitors trying to solve it.

This feature can be easily replaced and is being replaced in other cryptocurrencies.

The bitcoin transaction processing itself uses very little energy and can be done on a home computer or even a cellphone.

1
My2Cents 1 point ago +1 / -0

my understanding is that the replacements use a sparse mining scheme that might not scale well

Lincoln is the source of all problems with this country, completely ruined states rights for centuries. It’s why I cringe when Republicans try to claim him.

24
NoMoreMao 24 points ago +31 / -7

💯 He was a fucking war criminal. He put people, press and legislators in jail who disagreed with him. He put Francis Scott Key’s grandson in jail. He read Karl Marx. He suspended habeas corpus. He killed women and children who wanted to opt out of a voluntary agreement to stay in the union. He was the model for fucking presidential tyranny.

I think you meant Wilson not Lincoln. Where did you get the idea honest Abe was a Marxist? From a 2019 article in the Washington Post?

4
NoMoreMao 4 points ago +9 / -5

From the fact his ambassador to Germany acknowledged to Karl that Abe read his letter.

Abe’s writings are full of the worker’s rights vs capitalism bullshit.

12
AZ-is-the-key 12 points ago +16 / -4

Lincoln having read the manifesto and possibly having contact with Marx doesn't make him a Marxist and neither does writing about labor vs. Capital. Judge people by their deeds. If you judged a lot of socialists in congress by their words they'd be more conservative than Reagan.

They know the system can't withstand anymore borrowing infinite money and printing it out of thin air. The elites want to stay at the top once the system collapses and want us on a digital dollar so they can further control our every move. These politicians are just puppets for the real people in power.

These politicians are bought and paid for whores.

On a silly note - is there any chance the Senate will reject this or is this all but certain being signed into law?

Vote McCarthy: Because voting harder for the same people worked so well last time.

1
RBK2 1 point ago +1 / -0

If I had a dollar for every time I heard that argument, I'd be a millionaire overnight. Literally the only reason the two parties (ahem...uniparty) has any power still is because we force ourselves to think that only a two-party system will work.

The elites don't even have to force us to stick to two parties. We play mind games with ourselves and think that our vote won't count if we don't vote D or R. Well, maybe our vote doesn't matter anyway since 2020. Why not give it a shot? Many countries have multi-party systems. It doesn't have to be just left or right, red vs blue.

13
Sylvester1212 13 points ago +13 / -0

It would be a 2nd Party , that's why. The uniparty tells you it would destroy Republicans to keep you in check.

99.9% of politicians, regardless of party, are vermin and communists. There are maybe two members of the whorehouse aka Congress that I trust, and even then only cautiously.

9
infinitysupreme 9 points ago +9 / -0

When Trump was elected, I said the greatest thing he could do was blow up one of the two parties in our political duopoly where both parties vote the same on the majority of issues while putting on a show in media of disagreeing on hot button topics to keep the voters fooled.

If he could somehow destroy both parties - and he's trying to - that would be even better.

Two political parties is the absolute bare minimum more than the one party which China has. We need dozens of small parties all fighting each other to have balance in our government. Or perhaps we should just eliminate all political parties entirely, but it's hard to support that given that freedom of speech is a right that's already being decimated by Democrats with their intolerant cancel culture fascism.

2
MasterOfIllusions 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think you're on to something, but I'd go one step further. Look at European countries that have 15 or so parties in their governments. They spend all their time forming coalitions and compromising (i.e. betraying their constituents,) in order to accomplish some grifting pork-barrel project that wasn't even important to their voters in the first place. I don't like political parties at all. Like President Trump, people should be able to earn their office on the strength of their accomplishments.

The Infrastructure bill passed the senate but not the Build Back Better plan. In fact neither the House or Senate has voted on BBB. The votes for the plan last night was to vote to move the bill forward in the House committee.

By November 15th, the House will vote on whether to pass BBB or not. Then it goes to the Senate.

The Bush Cartel at it's best; be very leery of any accolade of the Bush Cartel........Barrett, Kavanaugh, Younkin, etc.

This is why they let youngkin win, but fortified the fuck out of NJ.

6
PAinsider 6 points ago +8 / -2

Any accolade of the Bush Cartel can not be trusted.

The Bush Cartel is the CIA, FBI, and Pentagon; quite a force protecting pedophelia, abortion and communism all the while provinding the dog and pony show of politics and voting. Making them all legal will be the NWO.

Yes, the Bush Cartel backed Younkin, beware. Like Roberts, Barrett, Kavanaugh, etc

5

accolade

Are you meaning to type acolyte? An accolade is an award or praise.

I mean anyone who is an accolade (praised/backed) by the Bush Cartel is corrupt IMHO.

9
disgruntled_patriot 9 points ago +10 / -1

Except it won't be We The People getting depopulated.

400 million firearms.

400 million firearms.

I'm going to repeat that, just to stress how significant a number that is.

400 million guns. And that is a best ballpark guess.

That we have just lying around.

These despots think their fancy military hardware can do the job, just like they believed it would in Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam... and everywhere else they've gotten their asses handed to them by untrained guerilla fighters with decades old equipment. And unlike them, we've got the ammo to spare. We won't be running out of bullets any time soon.

We The People comprise the largest and most well armed fighting force in history, bar none. Greater even than both world wars. That is not hyperbole. That is quantifiable fact.

Let them find out how well they fare against 100 million citizens and their 400 million firearms in their own back yard.

No military on Earth can compete with sheer numbers.

11

Funny how they're so focused on the US for depopulation, despite our scant 325 million people OUT OF 8 BILLION, almost all of which are in China and India.

1
chickeninoven 1 point ago +1 / -0

Those people comply without much issue.

Us, not so much. Historically, anyway.

36
Dylan_da_Spider 36 points ago +37 / -1

They seriously need to start releasing a complete list with estimated costs for each item in Bills before and after they get passed.

There also needs to be a maximum page count for anything passed by the house or congress to stop all those 2000+ page bills.

I'm surprised nobody has snapped yet.

12
disgruntled_patriot 12 points ago +12 / -0

It's only a matter of time.

Soon enough, we'll all be broke, homeless and starving and the most important item in the average person's possession will be a gun and a box of ammo or several.

Youd think people with everything to lose would be the ones to snap first. Financial death. Medicinal death. Rot and decay. How is this better than whatever momentary instability a constitutionally-aware uprising would cause?

This is called being spineless. It was something that I caught onto years ago on this very site. Imagine mocking Antifa for not having jobs? They're going out and using force to make their change twisted though it may be. When it comes our turn we get a glow op and those that didnt glow waltzed into the capital fucking UNARMED. Mind you the capital "insurrection" was a controlled Op and I guarantee you those that weren't in on it SHIT THEMSELVES (No they're not all in on it, you can tell useful idiots from career elites). They're crying about it even today knowing it was a glow op. If a bunch of unarmed people guided in can scare them so bad imagine what happens if we just went off on them?

Antifa is many things. They're retarded kids with no real lives. They're impressionable dipshits who burn things down to put Xiden of all people in office. They can be controled because they're fucking retarded. Now imagine what would happen if more principled poeple who cant be brought off (like us) were to get angry?

Voting for a bill that intentionally hurts the citizens of the country and makes everyone except for yourself worse off is well deserving of a rope to the neck. When politicians, regardless of party, realize that people will actually physically harm them, suddenly they'll do what they were given power to do. This was proven true last summer with the riots.

4
PorchLightOn 4 points ago +4 / -0

The problem is describing this as a "business as usual bill" isn't accurate either. Here's a thread from August that outlines a lot of the things in this bill that have nothing to do with infrastructure: https://nitter.net/Oilfield_Rando/status/1422019064273178626#m

-2
VenomPede -2 points ago +2 / -4

So business as usual got it. There's pork in every bill.

Neither am I, the people voting yes on the damn bill have no idea what's in it so it will be weeks or months before the worst parts are revealed.

1
XCorneliusX 1 point ago +1 / -0

This is the so called Infrastructure Bill that has little to nothing on real infrastructure. Many members voted for this on condition of the wet dream partner Bill coming to a vote very soon. Those being the hard left commies.

1
deleted 1 point ago +1 / -0
-1
VenomPede -1 points ago +2 / -3

Why pass this when they probably could've passed the other one instead then? I get they agreed to pass this one in order to pass the other one but this is getting retarted at this point.

4
XCorneliusX 4 points ago +4 / -0

It is the backroom deals. The carveouts for members areas for money to funnel to. The Build Back Better Bill is the wet dream and the partner Bill with added Trillions. It is retarded at this point. Members do not even write Bills and they are K Street attorneys writing them. Then lobbyists entice members to bring the Bill forward. The K Street attorneys are acting on the behest of large funds typically left.

7

6
BannedAccount 6 points ago +7 / -1

To my understanding this was just a regular infrastructure bill that gets passed every year and the vote on the shit green new deal/build back better bill was postponed I could be wrong though I'm just stating what I read somewhere

13
Hippopoonis [S] 13 points ago +13 / -0

Read what's in it. It's not a "regular" infrastructure bill.

8
KonyHawk_ProSlaver 8 points ago +10 / -2

Your understanding comes from the fake news. 1/3 of this is "traditional infrastructure". The rest is leftist pork. There's a study for a mileage tax, mandatory breathalyzers in all new cars, electric vehicle subsidies (tax breaks for rich people buying Teslas), and much, much more. This also swings open the door for the leftist dream bill to be passed.

8
jonwick 8 points ago +8 / -0

Amnesty for illegals, thousands of new IRS agents, natural gas tax all in this bill

3
RizzlieDoodad 3 points ago +3 / -0

I thought they removed that

2
KonyHawk_ProSlaver 2 points ago +2 / -0

What jonwick is saying is in the other bill.

1
RizzlieDoodad 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah that's the social build back better bill

2
KonyHawk_ProSlaver 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's not correct. That's in the other bill that has yet to get a Congressional pass.

2
IntergalacticWalrus 2 points ago +2 / -0

Breathalyzers?

2
Polander 2 points ago +2 / -0

Was all of that shit in the original bill they just passed, or was it add ons in the larger bull they were trying to attach?

4
KonyHawk_ProSlaver 4 points ago +4 / -0

The original bill. That's how bad this is. That's the "infrastructure bill." There are also green initiatives and other goodies we won't find out about until another week or so when Biden signs it.

The second bill is much worse, and no Republican will vote for it, but this is shocking any GOP member did for the first one, and Kevin McCarthy should be deposed for not whipping his members in line.

5
guns_and_butter 5 points ago +5 / -0

Correct. This was half the 1.2T (555b)

Still the 13 need to be primaries out along with the Senate traitors. It’s out own fault for being so passive over the decades and allowing the George Will types to run the party.

5
crazyjackel 5 points ago +5 / -0

Reminder, the Bill doesn’t cost $1.2 trillion. That estimate is under best case calculations. Most just gives money to local governments earmarked for certain purposes, mostly infrastructure. This tends not to go to actually infrastructure but offset costs of infrastructure having non-earmarked money go to other projects. Other earmarked money does get used for its purpose, but in ways that don’t benefit the citizenry, such as rail that no one will use. Rail is extremely expensive to use and lacks the flexibility needed for usage outside of subway systems in cities or local stops. The maintenance costs are extreme and it costs way to much such that most businesspeople won’t produce rail without government funding.
