Ransomware attacks likely false flags to heavily regulate crypto.

100
KingOfTards 100 points ago +104 / -4

Its FBI using CHINA to hack our enterprises and use the ransom and leaks to keep them in line. CHYNA is 20 years ahead of us in cyber warfare.

38
thewordwolf 38 points ago +39 / -1

Dude.

You get it. Kudos. Most are asleep on this stuff.

26
KingOfTards 26 points ago +28 / -2

I am not sure they are asleep. Sure some are but you will find most of the shills here that promote everything that helps Democrats are also very partial to CHYNA.

I would also say, CHYNA isn't 20 years ahead by talent. They are 20 years ahead by theft and commies in the US helping them.

12
HikingPatriot 12 points ago +12 / -0

Well, yes. Just about everything they've built was built using stolen tech from the US and other countries.

Of course nowadays our govt just gives them the tech.

2
DelightfulDane 2 points ago +2 / -0

So how exactly are they 20 years ahead of us...but we give them tech? Don't mistake the "useful idiots" for "criminal masterminds".

2
HikingPatriot 2 points ago +2 / -0

don't mistake Chinese propaganda for truth and understand you don't know what exactly the US has. There is a lot of classified tech out there.

We need letters of marque. Russia and China don't hamstring capable citizens, they contract out to them.

6
KingOfTards 6 points ago +9 / -3

Russia contracts them out. China is Communist and they will sell talent to benefit Communist CHYNA Apparatus by stealing IP to playing games. You don't get individual talent from them because they bring an agenda and cannot be trusted.

4
NotAnotherNPC 4 points ago +4 / -0

My point is anyone here gets arrested for cyber crimes. Our adversaries have zero problems benefiting from that.

3
KingOfTards 3 points ago +5 / -2

True but most cyber crimes happen within. We have our cyber mobs. They get arrested when it happens to connect the CIA or some big shot funding illegal activity. Most have gone to work for Cartels.

4
NotAnotherNPC 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm just saying..... I'm gonna be bored when I retire soonish.... I'd love a letter of marque that says I can fuck with China and Russia.

3
KingOfTards 3 points ago +5 / -2

You have my blessing.

2
President_Elect_Pepe 2 points ago +2 / -0

We can do this quietly without publicly using obscure law and creating a media circus.

3
NotAnotherNPC 3 points ago +3 / -0

I wish.... except without explicit permission from our government, this is one thing that will land you in jail over our own laws.

3
WarGreymon77 3 points ago +4 / -1

I still don't understand what CHYNA is or where it came from. Aside from the wrestler, of course, R.I.P.

18
NEETpride 18 points ago +24 / -6

Correct. Too bad for them it's so easy to circumvent the state with crypto. I have never paid capital gains tax on any of my crypto capital gains :)

46
FormerLibtard94 46 points ago +46 / -0

Probably shouldn’t admit that on here

33
EDDIT_IS_CUCKED 33 points ago +33 / -0

20
Chopblock 20 points ago +20 / -0

Maybe he never made any crypto capital gains

5
Pulchritude2 5 points ago +5 / -0

Correct. Unrealized capital gains aren't really taxable when it comes to things like this.

You can't tax someone on something they technically haven't earned or spent in this regard.

2
MehNahMehNah 2 points ago +2 / -0

Right,? How do you quantify that? It's a ploy to undermine crypto. And I'm not a fan of crypto as an investment. Or the gold standard.

2
Litecola2 2 points ago +2 / -0

Answer: however they want to.

Look, back after Argentina lost the Falklands, they were worse off than the economic depression they needed to distract from by starting that war. What did they do? Confiscated everyone's pensions right from the banks. Just raided them.

They'd just gotten all the good young fighting men killed, after all.

Doesn't matter. The way I do business there's no proof they can use anyway. There's nothing they can do against the overwhelming power of crypto.

7
thallos 7 points ago +8 / -1

They seize the patriots.win servers. They go over the database and cross correlate your traffic here with ip address you use. Maybe it leads back to your phone. The subpoena your phone company and get your home address.

All the steps up till this point are done in bulk, you're not so special they'll do it just for you but everyone here can get personally tagged en masse.

Then they issue a search warrant for your home and come in and seize all your machines, phones and tablets. They poor over them and crack your wallets. They track the transactions on the wallet history and start wracking up the charges.

Pay your taxes and don't break laws.

1
NEETpride 1 point ago +5 / -4

1

0

0
KingOfTards 0 points ago +2 / -2

3
bg4u 3 points ago +3 / -0

Did you have anything tying it in any way to you or your bank accounts? Just curious.

If you bought it in cash and sold in cash, that would be pretty crazy for them to send you something. But if you transferred money from a bank account or something, yeah that would do it.

1
NEETpride 1 point ago +2 / -1

It's crazy the shit exchanges want you to do these days just to sign up. Scan my fucking passport? Yeah fucking right. I wouldn't even give them my phone number.

-4
morethanaconquerer2 -4 points ago +1 / -5

You might want to rethink that statement.

Crypto is controlled by government just like Google and Facebook. They didn't launch it themselves, they take their cronies to do such things.

1
NEETpride 1 point ago +2 / -1

You're wrong about that, but the government does control Tor

1
morethanaconquerer2 1 point ago +2 / -1

Hmmm...

Maybe I'm wrong. But maybe not. Funny, they want it taught in schools?

Why, oh why?

1
NEETpride 1 point ago +1 / -0

Oh were you talking about the inevitable fedcoin? Yeah, they'll def own that. But they don't control bitcoin.

The reason why they want to teach crypto in schools is the same reason they want everyone to be a STEM major: it results in high-income tax-payers. Plus it just makes the schools look good and nets them more funding.

0
morethanaconquerer2 0 points ago +1 / -1

I really hope you are correct, just have my doubts.

3
NEETpride 3 points ago +3 / -0

If it makes you feel any better, the corporate media did a whole "war on bitcoin" circa 2014. They were shitting on it non-stop, saying it enables pedophiles. It's only been in the past few years that they've changed the narrative to "everything needs to be crypto, but stop using bitcoin specifically because It HuRtS tHe EnViRoNmEnT"

4

15

Between Grosskruetzs' complete shellacking on the stand and Richie McGinnis, the prosecution should just pack the fuck up and go home, before they lose any more credibility. Grosskruetz would have done better for his preferred outcome if he just invoked the 5th, imo.

There's really nothing else to say.

20

7

2

I'm not a lawyer though, so I may be missing some minute details.

3
Sylvester1212 3 points ago +4 / -1

That's intentional , they aren't failing.

-4
Killroyomega -4 points ago +5 / -9

Failed how, exactly?

Crypto is under complete control by international bankers.

It's going exactly as planned.

Next they'll move to push for regulations and to do away with USD in favor of BTC.

4
ObongoForPrison2020 4 points ago +5 / -1

...sure.

4
aKekabove 4 points ago +5 / -1

Exactly the dollar replacement will be crypto and you won't have access to the currency unless you have the passport...they will ban everything else

5
Killroyomega 5 points ago +8 / -3

You will be required by law to utilize only approved exchanges. Peer to peer transfers will be outlawed. If you do something the government or bank doesn't like, they'll blacklist your wallet across all exchanges.

I am amazed that there are people who still don't get it.

They see an easy payout from a glorified ponzi scheme and think they'll get rich, and ignore anything that comes after.

3
Donttreadonme16 3 points ago +3 / -0

Explain to me how the fuck they would even begin to outlaw peer to peer transfers.

I am amazed there are people so ignorant on a topic and yet willing to speak with such confidence.

2
Killroyomega 2 points ago +2 / -0

Crypto transactions are all public.

If your wallet makes an exchange not through an approved exchange your wallet is blacklisted.

This is all part of the design specifications of crypto itself.

2
HEXEN 2 points ago +3 / -1

You don't even need to explain it. Anyone who thinks Crypto is the answer is a fucking mook of the highest order.

Yes, lets tie our currency to a shit ton of legacy enterprises and the power grid. I'm sure nothing could go wrong.

1
tabularasa_556 1 point ago +1 / -0

And this "blacklist" stops P2P how exactly? Are you implying they control all crypto networks and can simply disable transfers to or from any given address?

2
scyenceFiction 2 points ago +2 / -0

Pretty much the only way they could would be to have complete surveillance over your wallet and associated address.

Not happening with the current crop of coins, but exactly what China is doing with digital renminbi.

2
Let_hereat_cake 2 points ago +2 / -0

"But my key is too long, how will I remember it?"

No worries, we just so happen to have this chip that you can put in your wrist, and scan it whenever you need to buy something!

1
Donttreadonme16 1 point ago +1 / -0

How would that happen exactly? Let's even use Bitcoin in the example here rather than the other privacy coins.

1
decafllort 1 point ago +3 / -2

You don't understand blockchain

2
Killroyomega 2 points ago +5 / -3

I understand it very well.

You don't understand that you're being scammed.

1
decafllort 1 point ago +2 / -1

Okay, I'll take the bait. How is crypto under the control of international bankers?

3
Killroyomega 3 points ago +6 / -3

How is the value of crypto derived?

Who owns the majority of crypto?

Who owns the exchanges through which crypto is processed for legal trade?

Who created crypto?

2
Donttreadonme16 2 points ago +2 / -0

How is the value of crypto derived?

The value of crypto is derived from the amount people are willing to pay and the amount people are willing to sell it for. It's about as close to a "free market system" as we could even come up with.

Who owns the majority of crypto?

No real way to know, and if you claim to then you're simply full of shit. Many of the early coins were mined by Satoshi and have never moved since. A decent percentage are stored in wallets owned by exchanges. A few early adopter whales. Now many institutional investors are dumping large sums in. And then millions upon millions of smaller end users.

Who owns the exchanges through which crypto is processed for legal trade?

There are hundreds of exchanges. What exactly do you consider a "legal trade"? I can accept cash and send crypto to a private party completely independently of any exchanges. That's a legal trade. I can buy a car and send crypto directly to the owners wallet. Not exactly sure what argument you were trying to make with this one. No one should trust exchanges, and if you keep any crypto on there then you are risking it, as it is not officially "yours".

Who created crypto?

Depends which one you're talking about. I assume you are referring to the anonymous user Satoshi Nakamoto who invented bitcoin? The pseudonym used to shield the creator from persecution, slander, legal battles, threats of physical harm, or some other vector of attack that TPTB would use against them or the system they created.

This person created one of the most ingenious systems, which solved a problem that mathematicians and cryptographers the world over couldn't solve for decades, and decided to blast it out anonymously through an email chain. They didn't opt for fame or glory, they just put out a system that they knew worked. And what happened from there? Other experts recognized what it was, and that it would work. And it grew. And grew. Organically. While being attacked and slandered by nearly every powerful player in global politics along the way. And yet here we are today.

Please, explain to me this secret knowledge that you have about who created and controls Bitcoin. I'd love to hear this.

Yep. My company was crippled by ransomware a year ago. Our insurance basically told us to pay the ransom and not report it to the FBI (unless we weren't legally obligated to). Had the feds come in and taken servers for "evidence" we would be dead. Our production runs in a weekly cycle and this happened on a Friday. We had until Tuesday before we would start to fall behind. Much past that and we would be screwed.

Instead myself and a trusted outside contractor spent a week working with a security company, the hackers, and our insurance. Those were some very long days eating take out and camping in a conference room. Luckily, because we didn't have anything valuable to the hackers, we just had to pay $40,000 in ransom. In the meantime, we were able to pull the necessary logs for a forensic investigation, wipe the servers, and get systems restored. We were limping along within 48 hours and fully recovered with new PCs and servers within two months.

The security company traced the breach to a hacking group in Cypress with ties to a group in Iran. They got in through a jump server one of our vendors uses and deployed mimikatz to get logon credentials. From there they got into our domain controller and it was a bloodbath from there.

It's all so tiresome.

These people have lost all credibility and are anti-American. The moment Wray said it was the most secure election in history, he should never be hired again.

AnIdahoan 14 points ago +14 / -0

Go figure, they're stepping up cybersecurity to protect against hackers.

On the plus side, good if that's purely the case. On the other hand, I can see how unscrupulous people would use this as an excuse to go after political foes.

15
AngeredKabar 15 points ago +15 / -0

Cyber security will eventually mean throwing users of websites like this one in the gulag.

5
Judiwont 5 points ago +5 / -0

The gulag is going to be 🔥!!

DoozerChuck 14 points ago +14 / -0

Muh cyber crimes.

Honestly, what did anyone expect, that all of a sudden they would do their job and say "Yes we are complicit in election rigging in our own country."

No, they wont and nothing will change unless we force change.

13
giglamesh 13 points ago +14 / -1

This announcement is just code for the democrats that no, we are not prosecuting the crimes your committing right now, we are looking the other way for now, and pretending to 'chase' cyber crimes right now.

Hear ye hear ye! Gather round! Let's take bets!

  1. Oppressive crackdown against concerned parents of children
  2. Punishments for businesses for not complying with vaccine mandates
  3. More tax spies to watch small businesses (paid for by small business taxes)
  4. Mandated hormone therapy for children that make believe they're a different gender
  5. Soft bans on firearms (taxes against certain kinds)
  6. "insert flavor of the month here" justice initiative (govt gives x% of your taxes to this group for the year)

Roll them dice, boys!

What it should be is an apology to parents, what it will be is them jerking themselves off because they caught some hackers in Eastern Europe

1
Shrillary 1 point ago +1 / -0

It makes you wonder if these people they catch are ever the actual people, or if a crime even existed. Sometimes I wonder if the CIA is just a global version of the FBI, which in itself only exists to create and foil its own plots.
