The GOP won't do a fucking thing if they control congress.

115
thunderpussy 115 points ago +115 / -0

Unfortunately, you are most likely correct.

Snarky tweets, and fundraising doesn't change anything.

The Republicans will do what they always do. Fellate Big Business, while trying to give the appearance of doing the bases' wishes, while doing absolutely nothing.

They are guilty, until I see some evidence to the contrary.

47
onemoretimeagain22 47 points ago +47 / -0

Yup, the gop will only do what their ccp masters tell them to do. uniparty anyone?

43
thunderpussy 43 points ago +43 / -0

Just two sides of the same, globalist coin......

18
onemoretimeagain22 18 points ago +18 / -0

Yup

11
Goozmania 11 points ago +11 / -0

Except they're both on the same side of the coin, holding hands and jerking each other off.

1
thunderpussy 1 point ago +1 / -0

It does certainly seem to be the case, does it not?

6
PanhandleTrumpster 6 points ago +6 / -0

Time to break the cycle. New party or third party is the only way forward.

3
AJoeDD 3 points ago +3 / -0

Probably easier to kick the eGOP out than start a 3rd party, at least in national elections.

1
PanhandleTrumpster 1 point ago +1 / -0

Good luck with that. The good republicans have been trying to do that for 30 years.

37
SpaceForceMAGA 37 points ago +37 / -0

GEOTUS was ready to build the wall and tear down Obamacare on day fucking one and the GOP had the numbers to do it and they refused.

40
MAGA1775 40 points ago +40 / -0

And don't forget, everyone in the GOP was screaming non-stop about repealing Obamacare when Obama was President. Constantly sending out fundraisers and donation requests to "repeal Obamacare."

Then when Trump gets in, with a Republican House and Senate, conveniently there's "just the right amount of Republicans" to oppose the repeal. Now you never hear a peep anymore from the GOP about repealing Obamacare.

And the same GOP that refused to fund Trump's wall for a few billion dollars, is now eagerly voting for the multi-trillion "infrastructure" bill from Democrats.

The entire GOP is a grift.

UndeadRevolver 10 points ago +10 / -0

We have to claw our way up from the bottom, and not lose ourselves along the way.

17
Shamb3 17 points ago +17 / -0

Correct. Instead of working with the most conservative Republican since Regan. They fought him for 2 years then screwed him out of re-election.

21
Building7 21 points ago +21 / -0

Reagan? Trump didn’t ban automatic weapons, grant amnesty to 3 million illegals which flipped california blue, massively increase the debt, and so on.

Reagan was not a conservative, he was a hollywood actor that tricked naive conservatives. Much like the gop does today

8
Shamb3 8 points ago +8 / -0

I didn't say he wasn't more conservative than Regan, I am just saying Regan was the closest thing we had in memory. They always opine about Regan. They had someone willing to pass anything that was good for America and they decided to fight him and let the Democrats take over the house.

15
MAGA1775 15 points ago +15 / -0

Because Trump wasn't apart of the grift.

The GOP wanted to go back to "business as usual" playing controlled opposition and shilling for donations. They preferred Biden (the globalist-approved candidate) to Trump.

17
texas4ever 17 points ago +17 / -0

That's what I really like about DeSantis. He doesn't waste any time complaining or talking about things he can't change. For example things like impeaching Biden which realistically can't happen. He instead spends time getting things done (Disney just backed off their vaccine mandate for example due to his pressure). Complaining or talking about doing something you have no power to is just a sign of weakness.

2
thunderpussy 2 points ago +2 / -0

Indeed. It's nothing more than misdirection and diversion from ineptitude and incompetence.

Did Cotton (the eternal war hawk/national security state/military apparatus friend) ever stand up for Rittenhouse - before/during the trial?

Just curious, I don't know the answer.

That’s where you’re wrong—they’ll continue the march to marxism while lining the pockets of their corrupt cronies. They’ll also throw in political persecution of the right here and there to satisfy their masters at the New York Times.

Nobody will ever be able to convince me that the Republican Party is anything other than a communist front group.

7

"Georhe bush and the southern takeover of american democracy." Michael lind, 2003. It talks about how trotskyite communists rebranded themselves as neoconservatives, and here we are.

The simple answer is that Republicans simply don’t know how to combat leftism. These people have infiltrated every facet of government and culture and pump their poison into every soft noggin.

Republicans simply don’t know how to wage psychological warfare. They do not understand how to begin tackling the problem. If the institutions are cancerous, then they should be dissolved and reconstituted. Trump and Republicans should have nuked some Ivy League college as a warning to the rest. But the optics cucks get scared that they’re going to be seen as anti education.

Nuke the colleges, put the Bolsheviks out on the street and enforce American culture at all costs.

Tom Pussy Cotton - Statment on J6

Cotton Statement on Violence at Capitol

Washington, D.C. — Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the following statement after violence broke out at the U.S. Capitol earlier today:

“Last summer, as insurrection gripped the streets, I called to send in the troops if necessary to restore order. Today, insurrectionists occupied our Capitol. Fortunately, the Capitol Police and other law-enforcement agencies restored order without the need for federal troops. But the principle remains the same: no quarter for insurrectionists. Those who attacked the Capitol today should face the full extent of federal law.

It’s past time for the president to accept the results of the election, quit misleading the American people, and repudiate mob violence. And the senators and representatives who fanned the flames by encouraging the president and leading their supporters to believe that their objections could reverse the election results should withdraw those objections. In any event, the Congress will complete its constitutional responsibilities tonight.”

FUCK TOM COTTON

The "tough on crime" trope. Heard that one before. If the crimes of 2020 election aren't addressed I don't want to hear it. Start with the Bidens, Pelosi and Hillary for their crimes, they do the FBI

5
AngryWhiteWoman 5 points ago +5 / -0

Stand up is the opposite of kneeling

To a Republican stand up means whine about it for a while then talk big. In the end do nothing and quietly sidle away.

5

I used to think Cotton was one of the good ones, but he's establishment as they come. He talks a good game, even stood up for trump on occasion, but he's as useless as Mitt Romney on the issues that matter to maga.

1
texas4ever 1 point ago +2 / -1

Better than Romney but definitely not MAGA either.

2
thetenman 2 points ago +2 / -0

The noises he makes when he flaps his useless gums are better, but when push comes to shove he is in lock step with Romney.

1
texas4ever 1 point ago +1 / -0

Somewhat better than Romney on most issues. But on things like election fraud, equally worthless.

5
Keiichi81 5 points ago +5 / -0

"Stand up" to the GOP means they'll use the topic to grift for cash while voting with Democrats to maintain the status quo.

5

R''s always make a bunch of promises about what they'll do when they "take back" congress, then end up doing none of those things before deliberately losing control of congress.

It means continuing to fundraise with shitty emails pretending to be from a politician.

Hey SpaceForceMAGA,

Can I count on you to help us stand up for the victims of crime?

  • Tom Cotton
4

1
