President Trump is correct. He also knows that this does ZERO to lower prices.

The fact that the money supply has grown nearly 35% in under two years is what is largely behind the rise in oil prices.

Oil is only priced in US dollars in the world. When the dollar is devalued, due to an increase in supply of dollars, the price of oil rises accordingly.

It sucks that you need to spell this out slowly to democrats because they are economically illiterate and allergic to facts/data

Their B.B.B. bill is loaded with bullshit accounting tricks.

For example, their child care program only runs 6 years, while the taxes to pay for it run the full ten.

If passed, six years would be 2027, the year before the Presidential election and midterms. They know that once they hook people on the program, it would be politically difficult, if not impossible, to let it die. So if they passed an extension of it, it would require massive NEW taxes to be raised to make it revenue neutral, way above the taxes that are in the bill. Either that or it would mean HUGE increases in the deficit for as far as they eye could see.

The B.B.B. is littered with such programs using political and accounting tricks, such as this.

It is poison on paper and MUST be defeated in the Senate.

They also cut medicare payments to doctors 2%, while jacking Medicare Part B up almost double digits ($148 to over $170). All kinds of little tweaks that hurt the everyday Americans.

No reporting on this in the MSM, however.

5
HockeyMom4Trump 5 points ago +5 / -0

And they do not consider this a tax on the middle class.

2
thunderpussy 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nor will there be. Just discovered that there is a nice expensing tax break for TRIAL lawyers, of all people, in this monstrosity.

Of course, the Trial lawyers and the DNC are practically sisters.....

Childcare is a small issue, and yet monumentally symbolic of the problem.

All humans know how to care for babies.

In America, a childcare facility requires licensed staff and the manager needs a degree in the field. To literally change diapers, feed and let children play.

The state certification boards work closely with the colleges to meter the supply of staff, making staff a high priced commodity.

Anyone can or could run a daycare and charge a fifth of the current daycare prices, but are unable to do so due to being at the mercy of state licensing boards and having to employ managers with master's degree. Most children probably barely remember their childcare days anyway.

The problem is the state regulating an easy natural human task, then destroying the free market, and now trying to solve it by nationalizing the cost of the dysfunctional market.

Leucophylla12 9 points ago +9 / -0

Parents can take care of children too. If they can’t afford to do this and need to work then they ought to reconsider having kids to begin with

6
HockeyMom4Trump 6 points ago +6 / -0

Exactly. Or plan. My husband and I were married several years, both working and yet lived off one income (saving the second income) until we were in a solid financial position to have children.

0
Phonyperson69 0 points ago +3 / -3

Exactly this we should throw this at the liberals everytime they say you shouldn’t open a business if you can’t pay your workers a living wage.

3
The_Yakuza 3 points ago +4 / -1

I’ll have to disagree with you there bud. A lot of people actually have no idea how to properly take care of a child. Especially 18-21yos that daycare’s love to hire. There’s so many reports of abuse and neglect that happen everyday at those facilities. I think they should 100% be licensed or at least checked on several times a month at random by dhs also mandatory background checks. No need to potentially harm kids by letting anyone open up a child care facility.

1
Lovepede 1 point ago +1 / -0

You don't think parents dropping by at all times is sufficient oversight? Parents get word of a bad daycare should put them out of business, but current regulatory burdens prevent competition. If the manager have a good relationship with the regulators, they can effectively stop anyone else from opening a daycare in that area.

1
The_Yakuza 1 point ago +1 / -0

Most parents me included just step in the entrance to pick them up and drop them off. Most daycare’s will have several different rooms for different age gaps. Now in my state anyone can open a in home daycare but only allowed 6 kids before they have to be licensed. But they’re also randomly checked on by dhs and must meet certain requirements in their home. Just letting anyone open a daycare rather it be an in home or at facility without oversight is just beginning for neglect/abuse. Sorry but I just don’t trust some random person to watch my kids and do everything necessary to meet their needs.

2
Keeneix 2 points ago +2 / -0

You clearly know what you are talking about when you speak on this subject. Which surprises me that you didn't mention how daycare effects the brains of children. Children often get bullied at day care and it's too common that the workers will do nothing to protect the children or help them get along.

Under natural circumstances children that young to not face cruelty at the hands of adults or children their own age. Children are supposed to be left with the people that share the same blood as them. When they are left with impartial people they are never actually left with impartial people. It's actually a constant abandonment, being handed off to people that do not love them or truly care for them in a way that a young child needs.

Studies have been done. Day care effects the brains of children and alters them for the rest of their lives. Why do you think the millennial generation was so fucked? Why are Zoomers somehow both degenerate and based at the same time? The parents of millennials could afford day care and Zoomers were born in a time where their parents couldn't afford daycare.

Just because Zoomers are weird and degenerate, that is just what they do with their personal time. They are conservative in their beliefs, the world around them just makes it easy for them to believe that degenerate weirdness is normal. I love the zoomers man they are so fucking weird.

Anyway back to the subject. That effect on the brain is the real reason for them wishing to pay for child care. The taxes is just a fun side effect for them. It's a good way to distract people from their real agenda. The day care itself is the worst part not the taxes, the taxes are the smoke and mirrors of the issue.

Look it up!

https://web.archive.org/web/20190712110126/http://econ.sciences-po.fr/sites/default/files/file/melissa/fort_ichino_zanella_rev1.pdf

P.S. It took me longer then I thought it would to find a good source for my main claim of daycare negatively effecting children. I had to find a post from two years ago linking to a deleted research paper. Thankfully there was an archive. Every other web article I could find kept trying to list positive effects that were the exact opposite of the negative effects. This is literally information they don't want you to know folks! I can't back up what I said about the Zoomers being both degenerate and based. I'm just a neet gamer dude that has to put up with their weirdness when I play video games so I only deal with the internet Zoomers that I would assume are a different kind then the ones that don't use the internet.

Well the explanation is not correct though. The rise in oil prices is partly due to the money supply but also due to the anti-domestic oil policies of the current administration.

Extremely low oil reserves and our domestic oil production being intentionally ground to a halt makes me wonder how long until the next Middle East oil war starts up. We've seen this playbook before.

4
CaptainButthurt 4 points ago +4 / -0

Iran, looking in your general direction!

6
Willholbert09 6 points ago +6 / -0

nah, Obama loves Iran. It will be against Saudi Arabia. Obama, and his muslim brotherhood have been trying to overthrow the Sauds for years.

3
CaptainButthurt 3 points ago +4 / -1

We'll see. Lot of options. Maybe even reinvade Syria and rearming ISIS. I definitely think Taiwan is toast tho. That ones super obvious. We'll probably sit back and just watch and say "bad China!" but do absolutely nothing.

1
Willholbert09 1 point ago +1 / -0

No profit in Syria.. I think KIllery was just taking advantage of the situation when she funneled money, guns and training to the headcutters over there. The real money is Saudi Arabia, they control OPEC. Of course Saudi Arabia are supposed to be our allies, but things seem different under Biden.

2
CaptainButthurt 2 points ago +2 / -0

There's always money. You can invent ways to make money. Just all those war contracts generate revenue for their buddies and family members. Bidens brother made a fortune in Iraq. But yeah I can see Saudi being a target. But its probably easier just to install a friendly royal member that kisses the ring.

Definitely a war brewing tho. That's their tried and true strategy of taking the focus off their domestic shit policies and enriching themselves at the same time. Also if they get a war going, China will have the green light for Taiwan because we won't have the ability to do anything about it.

Probably before the midterms if they are smart.

1
Willholbert09 1 point ago +1 / -0

true.. they are drumming up war against Russia right now regarding Ukraine. They probably want to deploy millions of $$ of US military hardware to Ukraine, because they have nothing else to do right now. But no way they go to war with Russia.

1
FireannDireach 1 point ago +1 / -0

Saud has never been an ally of ours, officially. We just rent our army to them at times to help them squash non-Sunni uprisings. They're one of our biggest military purchasers, as well.

0
FireannDireach 0 points ago +1 / -1

We will never go to war with Saud. Maybe under Trump, but the left is deep in Saud's pocket, all of them. Taking out Saud would end them being the head of Islam, and the Sunni sect, that's a global shaking change the left are not prepared for, or would even think about, because it cuts off the world's biggest faucet for legal and illegal political cash.

Middle Eastern politics are murky as hell at best, but if you think we'll attack Saud any time soon, you need to do some reading and study on Saud and where they sit on the world's stage, and how far and deep their money tentacles go.

Obama loves Iran

Nah. He's deep in Saud ass, always was. If we go to fake war with anyone over oil, it will be Iran or Syria.

This. Robbing resources and manipulating demand to fix price. Inflation is little compared to shutting down pipelines and becoming energy dependent.

5
MEGAWATTMAGASIGN 5 points ago +5 / -0

Oil prices are actually UP today and the analysts are saying the market has already adjusted to this before it was announced. This is a coordinated release, but I wonder if China will actually do their part or if they will just buy up released barrels.

3
ADAM_SCHITT 3 points ago +3 / -0

He's correct that this isn't going to do shit to lower prices, but he is wrong that he filled the reserves. That didn't happen. They were lower when he left office than when he got in. https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/LeafHandler.ashx?n=PET&s=MCSSTUS1&f=M

He did try to fill it at the beginning of covid when the price dropped to nothing, but congress put a stop to that because they hate America.

There need to be real life cheaters on the ground or the totals don't match. Don't get sucked into the deus ex machina shilling.

1
CaptainButthurt 1 point ago +1 / -0

As a dev I completely understand how easy it is to flip votes in these unsecured SQL Server DBs. A simple script or some hidden T-SQL can easily flip votes. And when nothing is audited, it makes it easy to cheat en masse.

1
Imransgarage 1 point ago +1 / -0

Right and one recount makes it clear it was fucked and makes the cheating useless. Simply flipping electronic votes is a way shittier plan than many here will acknowledge.

2
CaptainButthurt 2 points ago +2 / -0

As we've seen, all they do is use more time to bring in the fake ballots to match it all.

Also if you trust the same people that cheat to do accurate recounts, you're probably not going to get very far.

No not really. Social media is removing the middle ground. Everyone gets news on their feed non stop which galvanises them against the other side. Everyone is plugged into the matrix. Like us here. There’s a left wing equivalent somewhere (like Reddit) that also has a never ending stream of outrage stories emotionally draining them and forcing them to see us as sub humans, just as we see them.

When the middle ground is completely gone, we’ll be in civil war.

AmericanMan00 7 points ago +7 / -0

Facts from a side hustle energy trader.

America is the #1 oil producer @ 11.5 mb. source eia. We've been running surpluses the last 3 storage reporting weeks in Crude oil.

There are no American shortages of crude oil or natural gas, all storage levels are within historical avg.. Note, historical averages are higher than they've ever been because of record production the last few years.

100% hedge fund manipulation. Hedgies favorite game is to have investors pile in at the top, then do a rug pull on prices.

2
Papabravo12 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep

1
MakeAmericaWinAgain 1 point ago +1 / -0

Take wood as an example. There was never any shortages, the price just “squoze”, and was artificially high-priced for a while.

However, inflation, which is VERY REAL, will never allow us to see “cheap” gas again.

2
AmericanMan00 2 points ago +2 / -0

Energy markets are cyclical, prices rise and fall on demand. With EV's replacing more and more ICE vehicles, crude oil days are headed for History pile.

6
CanadianTrump 6 points ago +6 / -0

I was going to say, the main reason foe strategic oil reserves is to fill up Aircraft Carriers during war, literally the reason.

Using when A. America has oil untapped and easy to access, and B. The open market has oil, feels irresponsible.

However if the goal was to weaken USA for Chinas benefit, you are on perfect course.

2
ed_shaw 2 points ago +2 / -0

Carriers are in one category America can claim superiority over China. This action will lower America's rating in that area.

4
porkrice 4 points ago +4 / -0

I like how the media is acting like Biden is a hero for doing this. I never thought I’d see the narrative shift from making us buy electric cars and stuff. They suddenly are perfectly ok with gasoline. It doesn’t make sense. I don’t even see how this could lower prices that much. Even if it does I’m sure it will be temporary and they can just use it to bash Trump again.

From wiki:

According to the 1975 Sinai Interim Agreement signed by the United States and Israel, as a precondition for Israel's return of the Sinai Peninsula and its associated oil reserves to Egypt, in an emergency the United States was obligated to make oil available for sale to Israel for up to five years.[17] Israel has never invoked the agreement[citation needed], however. The agreement was extended in 1979, 1994, 2004, and, most recently, in 2015 for a ten-year period.[18]

When they pulled the whole election stunt you knew these things were going to happen. We have to fight them of course, but I am not surprised or upset as all of this was built into November 3 and the following election "weeks."

The only positive is we are already seeing a huge movement to the right. Most of us here knew all this nonsense was coming, but a lot of normies have to see all the stupidity play out in full to see the light. A good percentage know already, you still have some thinking "Build Back Better" by spending a ton of money is somehow going to lower prices.
