If you're a rightist, there's no such thing as voting in the right people. The minute a rightist gets into office, he stops being an individualist and becomes part of 'The Political Group*. By his very presence in politics he is, ipso facto, seduced toward the group, the collective, socialism or...society.

The ancient Greek philosophers understood this. They had an aphorism: O anthropos politikon zoon estin ("man is a political animal"). But the phrase is a double-entendre, because politikon can also mean "social". Politics only happens in social groups, society, which is centered in the polis or...city.

That's why "rightist" politicians always end up betraying our trust. The act of election catapults them into group behavior and destroys their individualism. The only people I've ever seen who could enter politics and still remain anchored at the right, or individualist, end of the spectrum have been Margaret Thatcher and Trump.

True. We need a new way of doing politics.

Bull. I can name probably 50 good national politicians. The rest need to be replaced with MAGA candidates. You bitch, but offer no solution. You don't want to fight for our country, just whine and cry.

Okay. But remember: rightist individualism isn't the same thing as MAGA.
