How did omicron get to Australia if the unjabbed aren’t allowed to travel

70
TheGreaseman81 70 points ago +70 / -0

It arrived on the wings of fear and propaganda.

onesummerdream 37 points ago +37 / -0

What tests are they using to specifically identify the Moronic variant?

17
I_Love_45-70_Gov 17 points ago +17 / -0

PCR test.

The PCR even works for papaya, coca-cola, goat farts, and many other things.

I hear it's the test to end all tests.

29
maga_mama_757 29 points ago +29 / -0

The country has until recently had some of the strictest border policies in the world, barring even its own people from leaving the country under a strategy sometimes dubbed "Fortress Australia".

Australia Prison works too.

Surely the Aussies will revolt soon, right?

17
Fuck_the_Government 17 points ago +17 / -0

They gave up all their guns during the great buyback, remember? How are they going to revolt?

30
Xi_JinSPEZ 30 points ago +33 / -3

And the Americans have all the guns yet they let a fraudulent election stand, remember, guns don't cause revolutions, people do.

9
Markstarr85 9 points ago +10 / -1

I keep hearing the statement shoulda never gave up guns from Murcia. You’re right they have guns for protection but an election was stolen and unleashed this whole plandemic. Still waiting for them to use the guns to fix it.

2
commiedestroyer 2 points ago +2 / -0

can’t. muh alphabet agencies

9
MakeArdernGoAway 9 points ago +10 / -1

They didn't give up all their guns, they still have a shit ton just like NZ. The buybacks were mostly a publicity stunt. In NZ the guns they got back were 80% old shitty broken guns that got traded in for cash cos they were worthless otherwise.

4
Xi_JinSPEZ 4 points ago +5 / -1

Exactly, more guns now than when they passed the law. Apparently the laws are so effective they have to keep having buybacks and amnesties every 10 years or so depending how culturally enriched the state is.

5
Markstarr85 5 points ago +5 / -0

I’m in a small town in wa and everyone I know has rifles

0
ControlledCuck 0 points ago +1 / -1

More guns but hundreds of thousands less actual gun owners and proportionally a much lower percentage of the population today than when the great buyback after that mass shooting took place. Hundreds of thousands Aussies permanently gave up their guns at that day. Only reason there are more guns now is that the gun owners that are left have more guns than at time, but in reality hundreds of thousands Aussies were disarmed at that time.

1
Markstarr85 1 point ago +1 / -0

Problem is it made citizens think they can’t have guns legally anymore

1
ControlledCuck 1 point ago +1 / -0

They DID give up their guns. Hundreds of thousands Australians did. They have more guns now but way less gun owners compared to back then; it's just the current gun owners who purchased more guns for themselves increasing the numbers overall, but actual number of gun owners is WAY less - even less when you look at the population proportionally speaking given all the mass-immigration that has come into the country since then.

2
MakeArdernGoAway 2 points ago +2 / -0

It really depends how you want to look at it. There are more guns owned in Australia now, that's a fact. There are fewer firearms owners, however the rate of firearm ownership was already on the decline before the gun grab and the rate of decline didn't seem to change. Also there are a ton of new immigrants since then which changes the ownership rate.

in 1997 there were 1.2 million firearms licences in Australia. Currently it's around 900,000 but there are an estimated 260,000 illegal firearms in possession.

Did people had guns back? Sure. But like NZ it may have been mostly for opportunistic profit rather than compliance.

6
geebeext 6 points ago +6 / -0

You misunderstand. Aussies have more guns now than they did when the buy back happened.

Aussies never had guns in the way you think, as it was never a right to begin with, seeing as it was established as a penal colony

2
Evspra- 2 points ago +3 / -1

molotovs, homemade explosives, 3d printed guns... lots of options, actually. real guns would help, but they aren't strictly necessary if you can improvise and you're determined enough to get your country back.

To be fair, the sheer amount of international students already ruined Australian Universities. Unis couldn't give a damn about domestic students.

5
mickmrly 5 points ago +5 / -0

The international food days were nice though. That was some good food.

11
brainphreeze 11 points ago +11 / -0

If the Australian government has a chance to shit on its people's freedoms, it will.

Doesn't Australia make a significant amount of money from the Chinese students who pay full price though? Also the food/bev industry is heavily reliant on low wage workers and there's no way that's going to change any time soon in Australia sadly, the benefits scheme is far too generous for citizens.

8
BarneyFrank 8 points ago +8 / -0

Don’t go back to the pub except for the few based pubs who tried to make a stand against this bullshit. The other fuckers make them howl for your money and put them out of business. Fuck them! Keep your money and your health to boot.

3
mugatucrazypills 3 points ago +3 / -0

All the shit they ban was bad for ya anyways

2
Gumnut [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is a key point.

Pubs? Because of ‘poker machines’, generally their product sucked before Rona, and it fucking sucks even more now. Fuck them all. Most people were willing to allow the industry to turn into a competition to see who could place the most poker machines in the most profitable locations. Entertainment be damned.

5

Who the fuck would want to go there now anyway.

Japan, too. They had reopened to International Students and now have closed their border for another month to "reassess". I have a very disappointed son right now who was hoping to exit Canada and start a better life, for a few years at least.

Ironically, his Japanese University has the third years' going to Australia for two semesters, so those students are fucked, too.

Just waiting to see what happens when the Aussies find out that the Greeks kicked lots of Police ass with just Rocks.....

2
notmyrealalias 2 points ago +2 / -0

Landlords love international students - they put 2-4 to a room and charge them twice as much each as the locals could pay.

Employers love "skilled" migrants as they hate paying a single cent to upskill their existing workers. Most of them turn out to be completely useless.
