I lost my 10 year old son suddenly and unexpectedly in 1997. It's fresh and you're likely still in shock. Don't do anything rash. Reaching out is good.

I already had a healthy relationship with God. He makes a great anchor. So I would look to him to help you through.

But the best example I can come up with for those who say time heals all wounds is that the loss is like an amputation. The wound may heal, but the limb is gone until you die.

The good news is that you can go on without all your limbs. Even though you may not believe it at the moment.
