so much for his oath to uphold the constitution. Time to revoke his citizenship and send him back to that shithole country he belongs in. India has NOT given up the caste system.

Oath

"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God."

Our biggest mist...our 2nd biggest mistake in importing this shite.

31
Jericho-Trompete 31 points ago +31 / -0

Yep. Same mistake with the cotton and the tobacco corporations is being done by pharmaceutical and software companies.

4
vegeta_ban 4 points ago +4 / -0

So sick of all the foreign fucks on H1B visas in the pharmaceutical industry.

At my old job during a townhall some asshole was complaining about being tied to a visa sponsor and unable to get a new job that paid what “he deserves” because he had to stay with the company that was getting him the visa. Fuck off and head back to your shithole country.

Those jobs should be going to Americans in American companies, especially in economic downturns.

Our biggest mistake was letting the democrat party get up from the mat after the Civil War. That was Abraham Lincoln's one mistake.

history much? ever heard of reconstruction? you're an idiot

1
monkeycat2010 1 point ago +1 / -0

How am I wrong for that? Yes, I know about Reconstruction. What does that have to do with my comment?

Slavery was a bad thing. We should never, as a nation been part of it. It is a terrible stain on a beautiful idea.

Had we not participated slavery, those who were taken would have had the opportunity to live their lives as they were intended to do.

Had we, as a nation, not imported millions of African slaves a great deal of our nation's and the world's problems would not exist.

end naturalization, or at least suspend it

send back all "refugees"

moratorium on all immigration into this country (excluding tourist, but make sure they have a flight back home and get on it). Only allow work visas for skilled/specialized workers who we do not have enough of in this country, and only from other Western countries.

Let people's work visas expire and do not renew them. Do not allow student visas for foreigners to go to college here. Cancel the visas of foreign students already here. Tough luck, commies.

Maybe once things settle down we can open back up more fully, but we gotta hold back and lick our wounds for a bit.

13
henri_derelicte 13 points ago +13 / -0

The only student visas we should allow are for international students on exchange programs, since those are typically done on a reciprocal basis

8
monkeycat2010 8 points ago +8 / -0

100% agree. We need to get our shit in order and clear out the professional government bureaucrats and politicians.

We need a clear, concise, efficient method of immigration to this country. Who we take, who we don't take etc. Make it so clear there is no room for discussion on anything other than the rules as they are written.

No more fucking H-1Bs, they have single handedly displaced American workers in high skill jobs and artificially lowered the wages of those that remain.

2
Save_the_Republic 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yup. A company I worked for once upon a time would import only Indians for their tech shit. They didn't want to pay for quality American work, and yes they got what they paid for. You would get a little whiff of India whenever the elevator stopped on their floor. Made my stomach turn.

32
Krum 32 points ago +37 / -5

I'm going to throw out a hot (but factual) take here:

The constitution protects We the People from the Government. Not a publicly traded company.

The answer is simple. Don't use Twitter. Hell, just don't use Social Media.

27
Libertas_Vel_Mors 27 points ago +29 / -2

This.

Too many people fervently hate FB, Twitter, etc... but when I tell them that I dumped them off years ago, they almost always respond with "muh family and friends!" , as if no other means of communication ever exists besides Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Don't even keep an account to troll or "redpill" with - fuck 'em. At this point, the only way out of this is to accelerate. Let the bots and lefties eat each other. if they lose half their audience, they lose more than half of their income - all of it once advertisers realize there's no profit left in showing adverts to bots and broke-ass basement-dwellers. As a pleasant side benefit - the "influencer" grifters and faggots will have to go find gainful employment...

8
Guruchild 8 points ago +8 / -0

Not using twitter, google or fb is a good start. They already know who you are and know more about you than you do, even if you never used them though. But a good start.

5

The government let a private company monopolize the public square. Outsourcing censorship to a private business shouldnt be permitted.

17
War_Hamster 17 points ago +17 / -0

That's correct, and Dr. Shiva's lawsuit provides evidence that these private companies are doing so at the direction of government.

9
_Sully_ 9 points ago +9 / -0

Yep! They censored at the behest of the government and aided and abetted in the stealing an election. Having the “muh private company” talk is just weakness at this point. Quit playing this losing game.

3
Goldlight 3 points ago +3 / -0

ya they ain't a private company if they're aiding the government

3
mainsoda 3 points ago +3 / -0

Also election tampering is a crime, or at least it used to be.

1
HeavyMetalPatriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

Crime is relative now. For instance, Whites shouldn't commit crimes and they should also try to not be White anymore.

2
45ForEver2024 2 points ago +2 / -0

Citizen's united sealed that.

-3
Krum -3 points ago +3 / -6

That's a silly argument. You don't NEED Social Media to exist, and likewise I don't need the government to interfere with a publicly traded companies policies. Once you open that door you are setting an extremely scary precedent -- that and it isn't a monopoly when there are a multitude of options available.

8
prattle 8 points ago +8 / -0

Companies aren't allowed to defraud their customers. They did when they were dishonest about partisan censorship. Their customers invested time and other resources of value in setting up these human networks on their platforms based on this fraud and they need to either allow the experience they communicated or offer some other kind of damages to those they misled.

The root problem is when a company defrauds you about the nature of their product to attract you, you can normally get back the money you paid for their product by law, but what if they just took your time to watch their advertisements for five years. There was still damage even if it isn't as easily quantified

-1
Krum -1 points ago +2 / -3

Eh, I agree with you in part, but I also think that you'd be hard pressed to validate that argument in a court of law for a service that you paid $0 for, and agreed to the Terms of Service upon sign up.

If the answer here is to regulate Twitter as a utility then I'd say this (copy paste from another post I made):

They are not essential services for survival as common public utilities.

Furthermore, imposing "utility" status on a social network site, and forcing regulation (government oversight) might lock such a site in as a real monopoly (Government), which consequently, will stop innovation, and counteract competition.

To me that's a huge problem. The fact that it stunts competition entirely means companies like Gab, and Parler -- and hell even possibly this website would/could then be limited in what they are allowed to do through legislation because they would in affect be acting in the same capacity as the Utility company (which is at that point is regulated by law).

Furthermore, since it would be subject to Government oversight it'll also mean that Privacy becomes a very real concern, and the likelihood of being "Anonymous" on such a platform is likely nearly impossible as a result of government oversight.

2
RegularAmerican 2 points ago +3 / -1

I think it's essential at this point and most others would agree. If the telephone services are subject to those regulations. So should social media. I don't care about letting companies do whatever they want to stomp all over us. That's not America. That's an oligarchy.

4
kt524 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yep, businesses practically have to have some form of online presence to even begin to maximize their profits and people have to have one to even try to have their voices reach anywhere near the amount of people than they would just holding a sign in a park (for better or worse). It has pretty much become THE public square and practically essential.

1
Krum 1 point ago +2 / -1

Good luck getting accountability then when the government stamped utility investigates itself and finds it did nothing wrong.

1
prattle 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't think I'd go as far as regulating them as a public utility either, but i do think they have failed to act in good faith with the original Eulas and Codes of conduct that their customers agreed to. So while I agree with you as well about the dangers of over regulating a public company, I don't think it should really matter if you paid in dollars or in the social medias model of selling your time to the highest bidder plus whatever value the content their users produce has.

I would favor a model though of decoupling the human network their users helped create from the company as a means of correcting the fraud. Facebook etc can offer a GUI and moderation of messages, but it should only apply to people directly using their platform. Aside from that it should be open, and other organizations with their own moderation and presentation should be able to work with the user network similarly to how different phone companies work together despite having different users. It gives true competition by allowing users to decide on moderators they trust and presentation they like, but still communicate with all of the same people they always could.

5
Goldsteinbergsky 5 points ago +6 / -1

"Muh private company is above all laws" Get fucked, retard. Your kind is a cancer on basic human rights.

1
Krum 1 point ago +3 / -2

I never said they were above any laws. The Constitution protects citizens from the Government.

You're the faggot who apparently can't live without Social Media and needs the government to inject themselves into Business policies because you can't seem to get your faggot dick out of the Social Media tranny farm.

0

8
DogFacedPepeSoldier 8 points ago +9 / -1

Twitter represents the public square.

If your phone company decided you violated their speech code and shut off your phone and internet, is that "muh publicly traded company"?

-8
Krum -8 points ago +2 / -10

If the phone company shut off my phone because they didn't like what I said then I would find a new phone company -- because there are other options.

Edit: I'd love to actually have a conversation on this because as a Capitalist society we can only thrive and innovate by creating more competition and embracing competition when we run into roadblocks.

throwing our hands into the air and hoping that government regulation will help is completely asinine, and smooth brained.

7
MarcusAurelius 7 points ago +7 / -0

Let me introduce you to the wonders of geographic monopolies. Or enforced monopolies due to regulation of a common resource (such as radio bandwidth in a given area).

5
Thrasymachus 5 points ago +5 / -0

Lolbertarian hot takes are as inane and retarded as ever, but these days at least you get appropriately laughed at.

0
Krum 0 points ago +2 / -2

It's not a libertarian take, but sure.

When the Government stamp of Utility gets put onto Social Media you'll see what actual retarded censorship shit is.

Government investigates itself and finds it did nothing wrong.

3
DogFacedPepeSoldier 3 points ago +3 / -0

Ok what if there isn't another phone company? What if the phone manufacturers built in difficulties in accessing those other carriers? (This represents Google and ISPs restricting or throttling access to competitors, or AWS refusing to host competitors)

It's an Oligarchy controlled by the Democrats. It's crony capitalism and free market solutions will not resolve it because they are not employing the free market.

You need to recognize that they're not playing by your rules and we need to start playing by theirs or we're going to get skunked.

-2
Krum -2 points ago +3 / -5

If you think that telling the Government to investigate itself is the answer then it's you that needs to get your head out of your ass

2
DogFacedPepeSoldier 2 points ago +3 / -1

Putting people who will act in office and then actually supporting them instead of constantly infighting will get the job done.

And before you say that this conversation is infighting - you're not even fighting. You're advocating cucking out and quitting the field with the enemy right in front of you.

4
TexasJack 4 points ago +4 / -0

True as a general matter, but Facebook and Twitter have become so big that I think they need to be regulated a public utilities with constitutional protections for the speech of their users. The current situation is allowing them to lean heavily on the scale of public debate.

4
mainsoda 4 points ago +4 / -0

I don't trust the government to regulate this at all.

However there are monopoly laws already on the books and they are there for a reason. Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram should all be heavily (and I mean back breaking heavily) fined for predatory monopolistic practices. They have all done this over and over and over again with impunity and that NEEDS to stop.

1
HeavyMetalPatriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

Exactly. They need to lose 230 protections and get bitchslapped as monopolies. No need to make them utilities.

1
FireannDireach 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fuck that noise. Seriously. I do not want a single penny of taxes going to pay for Facebook or Twitter.

Nobody needs either. Young kids don't use either, they use TikTok and Discord. Neither of those need to be public utilities, either.

-2
Krum -2 points ago +2 / -4

I disagree. And feel free to change my mind, but here are my thoughts.

And that's what they want around the world too.

26
agentgruer2 26 points ago +26 / -0

I think they are technically at the bottom of their caste system but due to redistribution the bottom caste is now at the top being of government favoritism. Most of the Indians here are bottom caste and love to boot lick for the government.

Yeah, if you notice, liberals LOVE monarchies. They love a segmented and segregated society based on race and wealth. Their narcissism cannot be sated. They even fantasize about it (movies and shows glorifying monarchies, and keeping the royal family instated in UK for examples). They must rule over another human being. The democrats were the original slave owners.

2
BobbittWorm 2 points ago +2 / -0

Exactly this. They have a weird fetish/fixation on royalty and their relevant tabloids like cocaine addicts are drawn to piles of nose candy.

They love to speak negatively about people who wield great power but secretly covet that power and wish to abuse it themselves.

1
KAGMAGIC2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

They all think they will be at the top of the totem pole they wish to create.

I've had the misfortune to run into some higher caste Indians (funnily enough, it's only the mid-castes who say that the caste system is no longer relevant...) and they would put any self-respecting old-money aristocrat to shame with their self-importance and fuck-the-peasants attitude as they gladhand their way through life.

It's not a silver spoon they were born with, more like a silver dining set.

  • Neither the CEO nor the CTO (this guy, earlier) decide on policy in a corporation where they are minority share holders.

  • This CTO was part of Twitter for several years already. We already experienced his influence.

Jack Dorsey had some inclination to listen to criticism, and his recent posts about the gold standard and linking to Anatomy of the State by Rothbard were surprising and promising. He wasn't the worst person to engage among the silicone valley "elite".

Why does he give a fuck ? Hindus and Muslims hate each other.

I think the problem is that Indians are TOO good at assimilating into US culture. And when they start out in a place like Commiefornia they adopt the whole woke "white people suck and I hate America" stance.

With the high crime rate in San Francisco, eventually fate will deal with this prick. Probably will get robbed at gunpoint but we can hope for more.

I see this as potentially a good thing. How can an elected official use a platform like that without repercussions (or defend themselves politically) when the head of the platform openly promotes such hostile behavior?

I still say Trump should have banned the federal government from using fb and Twitter the moment they started censoring people for political speech.

2
TheTudes 2 points ago +2 / -0

He needs to eat more lean protein

I don’t care about his free speech platform because his company believes in censorship

Twitter is an enemy of freedom

Where do companies dig up dough boy immigrants like this to be their CEOs. And how would a piece of racist shit like this send twatter shares soaring 10%?

2
HyperCarbs 2 points ago +2 / -0

Who fucking cares? it is Twitter. Oh wait, half the content here is Twitters screen shots. I guess you guys care a lot.

Who cares. I wanna hear about Maricopa County and what we're gonna do to avoid getting butt raped in 2022. I wanna know WTF were gonna do about the millions of invaders getting paid with our taxes to give us the middle finger and destroy our communities.

We need to stop assuming that people born and raised elsewhere share our history and our fidelity to our Constitution. He is a foreigner. He was educated in Bombay, India. Just because he migrated here for his PhD doesn’t make him American. For him this is a business opportunity.

I'm tired of foreigners who come to America and try and hate it's origins.

It's time to rise up American and end these faggot triators.

bobobob 2 points ago +2 / -0

At least this guy is honest about the company's hostility towards free speech and the first amendment. Jack always tried to pretend that the company's bias didn't exist.

2
im_baaaaaaaaaack 2 points ago +2 / -0

Dont worry to much someone this toxic will destroy the company.

Easy fix... never sign up for an account or delete your account if you have one! This is not a hard problem to solve and sure as hell doesn't warrant the time wasted discussing it.
