Can we just light this thing off already?

DefenderDad 61 points ago +62 / -1

Draw your line in the sand, be ready to pull the trigger when they cross it.

Mine is at children being forcibly jabbed anywhere in the us against their parents wishes or their wishes. Thats it. Someone does that anywhere in the US, I give no vax passport supporters, government officials, their friends, their family, any quarter.

They want us dead, I’m just waiting and preparing for that moment when its time to act.

Note, I’m not saying if, but when.

Draw your line. Be ready to kill any feds that show up to try and stop you before they cross that line. Because, they will.

Getting close. I just had to get labs done, and signs read “anyone age 12 or older may request the Covid-19 vaccination at [hospital name]”

I immediately texted my wife and we couldn’t believe it. So kids can just walk and request it. Then my mind starts going… what’s to stop younger kids? Can’t exactly prove you’re 12 unless you’re in the hospital’s EMR… wait, what about guardians, grandparents, a school “field trip,” or just a “friend’s” parent being then? I think we’re basically there already

In Sweden, unless things have changed, kids who should need their parents permission to get jabbed are questioned to determine if they're mature enough to make that decision themselves. Of course, wanting to get the jab is proof you're mature to make decisions about your health. 🤡🌍

First time I've ever heard about that method beeing used instead of just going by age.

I have a water distiller and live next to a river. I won't be out of water.

25
SirSelrahc 25 points ago +26 / -1

Exactly. I have 3 wells and one of them is a free flowing artesian well. No water issue here.

Sawyer and Lifestraw make portable drinking filters, they're very effective and cost $20-$30.

Good to have as an emergency. Can always use them when going camping down the road.

1

I also live within 20 miles for 3 reservoirs. If all else fails collect rain water and melt snow and send it through my industrial distiller.

0
superwookee 0 points ago +1 / -1

Unless the EPA decides that river is protected and even pulling drinking water is illegal.

Not that it will stop anyone, but they already can grab land that is "wetland" meaning any standing water (even temporary) with a single "water" plant like a cat tail.

I pay a fortune for water, over $100.00 a month. That does not include drinking water as we buy that separately. Highway robbery!

18
Luminous_2a 18 points ago +18 / -0

Our monthly water/sewer bill is $96 - $100 per month. Many moons ago we were in a severe drought, so they jacked up the water rates to curb usage.

Once we were out of the drought, they never went back down.

5
TNVol 5 points ago +5 / -0

I paid $61 total for water, sewer and trash pickup, and recycling pickup last month. Red city. Red county. Red state.

7
magabeans 7 points ago +7 / -0

holly shit man, I pay 150 pesos, which is like 7 usd

4
Shinydenim 4 points ago +4 / -0

Idk I can fill any size container for 39 cents per gallon of R/O water. Not bad since I don’t pay for maintenance of the filters

2
SirSeizureSalad 2 points ago +2 / -0

You buy drinking water? I just use a Berkey and I love mine.

2
Shit___taco 2 points ago +2 / -0

Damn that is crazy. I just had to dig a new well and now I am not feeling so bad about it.

22
Pax11B 22 points ago +22 / -0

I bought a Berkey water purifier based off a recommendation from a fellow pede. Best investment I've ever made! Never drank so much delicious tasting water in my life.

4
Spez_Is_A_Pedofile 4 points ago +4 / -0

Literally buy 4x black & 10 white. Shits going yo be out of stock soon

3
sentient-potato 3 points ago +3 / -0

Hey! I hope it was my recommendation, although it's mentioned here often. I love my Berkey.

For those who don't know, they're the simplest and best water filters. We live in TX and when our water was cut off last year for a week due to the big freeze, we just filled it with pool water and it was perfect (we have both the charcoal and chlorine filters).

I prefer reverse osmosis to Berkey, taste wise.

Berkey definitely leaves more in, but I haven’t tested to see what’s left.

6
holytrpbatman 6 points ago +6 / -0

You need to get the pH of RO back up to around 7. Drinking that acidic water will fuck you up, bad. Add some calcium and magnesium back in before drinking it.

The obsession with hydration for the past 20 years or so has been too much.

You don't need to force yourself to drink water when you aren't thirsty. Perhaps when working in hot weather that's different, but you aren't going to hurt yourself sitting in the office and only drinking 1.5 tiresliters of water in a given day.

Also, water requirements scales about linearly with body weight. Children and small women typically should not drink two liters of water per day. Large guys will probably drink more.

So, anyhow, I'm not convinced water shortages are imminent. It's likely just a typical (non-covid) health article. Although perhaps I'm biased in that I don't live in a super arid region (although technically semi-arid).

4
Saxmaster 4 points ago +4 / -0

Tire water is gross and bad for you.

5
MapleBaconWaffles 5 points ago +6 / -1

Just trying to stick with your freedom units.

Perhaps I should have said 3/7 of an NFL football.

2
Husky 2 points ago +2 / -0

That would be 0.281 liters, by the way.

1.5 liters would be roughly 7/16 NFL footballs.

1
MapleBaconWaffles 1 point ago +1 / -0

1.5 / 3 * 7 = 3.5

1.5 / 7 * 16 = 3.43

For most young, healthy people, the best way to stay hydrated is simply to drink when you're thirsty, Dr. Topf said.

The article is less scary than this quote tweet screencap implies.

Basically, if you're thirsty, drink. It doesn't even HAVE to be water, just healthy fluids, decaffeinatedis preferred. As long as your urine isn't too dark, you're fine. If it is, you're kidneys aren't being flushed enough, possibly due to dehydration, medications, etc. Drink a little more.
