So you're saying the Scots aren't the savage barbarians Hadrian described them as any more?

EDIT: "any more"

BetaODork 4 points ago +4 / -0

Really? Always figured since they made up a huge percentage of the SAS that they’d be based. Though maybe that was just historically.

Scotland is oddly one of the most cucked countries in Europe.

Waiting for a libtard to say "But I didn't trust the government, I trusted the science, REEEEE". 🤡

Stevo182 30 points ago +30 / -0

Government = Science = Religion. All just systems of control. And I'm not hating on the religious here, I'm just saying that religion long before ((( science ))) was used to control the masses and make them docile and complacent.

religion | rəˈlijən |

noun

  1. the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods
  1. a particular system of faith and worship

What is Christianity if not a religion?

TheOneWhoKnocks 12 points ago +12 / -0

I'm just saying that religion long before ((( science ))) was used to control the masses and make them docile and complacent.

Docile and complacent? Why do you think that the first thing communists do is to try to wipe out religion? Especially Christianity? Recognizing a power higher than yourself (and the government), recognizing a purpose greater than simple earthly desires, and recognizing a truth that is vast and unchangeable are the greatest impediments to manipulation and indoctrination by evil men ever. Why do you think the Amish don't play that mask and vax shit?

1
Stevo182 1 point ago +1 / -0

While i personally dont disagree with your definition of "religion especially Christianity", that isnt how it is taught nor how it is seen by the vast majority of blind followers under it. The church has twisted the vengeful god into one of passiveness. Everyone expects justice to be served in the afterlife without ridding our only world of the injustices we experience. "That isnt very Christian of you." People using more words to control others.

2
TheOneWhoKnocks 2 points ago +2 / -0

That depends on what you mean by "blind followers". Anyone who blindly follows some self-proclaimed preacher, or an anti-pope, is going to be a problem. Anyone who blindly follows God should be fine. And the kind of people who say "That isn't very Christian of you" are usually faggots.

1
Stevo182 1 point ago +1 / -0

Everyone's definition of god and what god represents is different. You don't simply "follow God." It's a far more complex issue and pretending like it isn't is the same stuff that has propagated holy war after holy war.

1
KickingPugilist 1 point ago +2 / -1

And they got herd immunity.

8
War_Hamster 8 points ago +9 / -1

Yup, they used the Crown and the Church to control Europe for ~1000 years.

Holy Roman Empire did the people no favors.

8
WarGreymon77 8 points ago +9 / -1

The problem stemmed from people claiming to be anointed by God. False prophets. Indeed the whole Catholic model is flawed in this way.

4
War_Hamster 4 points ago +4 / -0

You phrased that correctly. I always try to make sure not to castigate individual Catholics but instead focus on the church itself.

1
Xanisor 1 point ago +1 / -0

Wow, leave the HRE alone, you voltairist. The church was relatively weak when it came to questions of political leadership in the HRE compared to other regions in Europe at the time.

yes...but they don't realize that. As far as they are concerned, it is the media that they are putting their trust in. Media won't lie, right? Like, what reason would they even have to lie to me? Nah, couldn't happen.

"Blindly" is literally the only way one CAN trust our government. They fight transparency at every turn, get caught lying every single day, and routinely do a 180 on campaign promised once elected. Having trust in the modern US government is FAR more ludicrous than believing in a deity or even the flying spaghetti monster. I have no evidence to prove or disprove a flying spaghetti monster... I have innumerable reasons not to trust this government and no evidence at all that I should.

the firmament is stupid.

You know how a living cell has a membrane separating the inside of the organism from the 'outside'

that's the firmament, the Ozone layer, the Magnetic layers, all the layers of the atmosphere.. separating everything from outer space.

You can't pass the firmament, but you technically can. Like a sperm escaping from the trap (egg), implausible but possible.

Most concepts in the bible of modern physics explained so a layman could understand it.

The government was actively working to sabotage Trump, so no, we did not trust it.

-1
SaddleTramp -1 points ago +1 / -2

Trump is a fall guy, stop being so fucking naive.

3
War_Hamster 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yes, I'm sure the DS spent 5 years committing crimes while trying to frame him for muh Russia, just so he could fool us into thinking he was a good guy.

Feel free to provide your argument, but I think you'll be short on evidence that Trump sold us out.

7
LibertyPrimeWasRight 7 points ago +8 / -1

I think trusting his intentions was and is right. I think trusting his judgment is a little more questionable—he's pretty great overall, but he's still dead wrong on the covid vax, and certainly I wish he'd done some seriously different hiring and firing decisions during his presidency.

Trusting the government, though, is definitely not a good idea. Even when Trump was ostensibly in charge, his whole admin was being constantly undermined by the institutional rot that are is the whole mess of deep state bureaucrats and sycophants.

1
RiverFenix 1 point ago +2 / -1

He was known as a celebrity for firing people, among other things.

I feel he didn't do nearly enough public firing during the 4 years for sure.

His "administration" didn't create it, Big Pharma had it in the works forever. And Big Pharma has had it's tendrils in all arms of the government, since Rockefeller summoned it into existence 100 years ago. The corruption is far deeper than and older than any surface level politician... Trump feared big pharma in the middle of his term when he was going to appoint Robert Kennedy jr to head a vaccine task force. Bill Gates had a personal meeting with Trump and the task force was canceled. Whatever threats were made were worse than Trump could deal with. He is a human, with faults. But it's not his fault that the entirety of DC is a NWO cease pool of anti-american filth. That blame lays in the hands of the arrogant, bloated, apathetic Americans public, who have allowed it to go unpunished for the past century. The carelessness, and lack of diligence of the public is why Republics fail.

Trump might have been president, but he wasn't the government. If somehow he duplicated himself and filled almost every position with a copy of himself then he'd be the government, but in reality, he was just a captain aboard a ship filled the a mutinous crew.

You seem to put a little too much faith in the whole idea that just cause he was the leader, that well.. he lead the government. Its like saying Joe totally is the one who's calling the shots right now.

The actual person who the government is following hasn't ever really left.

I get it Patriot... He is to be trusted. But, I have come to the realization, he is a 3%er. He WOULD sacrifice anything! BUT, he could only count on 3% of the people to do the right thing. To make the hard choice between their best interests and that of the country. 97 chose their best interest. That is happening HERE and everywhere in the United States. Very Few are willing to sacrifice even a little to overcome the oppression of the Deep State. Most armchair loyalists here airing grievances and little more. For most intents and purposes, all is lost DarkPheonix, but blame not the Enlightener, but the masses of Enlightened; for they have seen evil in its truest form and chose the comfort of their warm beds, prepared meal, and multimedia distractions, over any true form of resistance. We will soon all be neutered, cleansened, and baptised with Science and very few will even whimper when it happens. "Come and Take it from my cold dead hand!?!", How many J6 Patriots said this who are now in Detention with their weapons confiscated? What are we waiting for? 2024? Good Luck Pede!
