Teddy Roosevelt had it right years ago.: "In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American….

There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag…

We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language…

…and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

The letter was read publicly at a meeting of the group on January 5 1919. Roosevelt died the next day.

What does this mean in practical terms for immigrants (imho)?

  1. Ditch the dual citizenship
  2. Have some skin in the game. Don't have one foot in this country and another foot in your homeland when the going gets tough you'll simply flee to safer grounds.
  3. Stop remitting deposits back to said homeland.
  4. You are not just an economic contributor. Participate in American culture, grow it and emphasize it. At some point, Americans will get sick and tired of being
redefined into every tribal group on the globe. If you tell me you're American I'll believe you, but if all you do is celebrate Diwali, eat Indian food, and travel to India 8 times a year, I'm not going to believe you really want to be an American.
  5. Stop criticizing and negating America's history. I know its avante garde to do so, but its destructive and hurtful to Americans.
  6. Stop believing in the the white supremacy boogeyman as if whites have it out for brown and black people. Ridiculous.
  7. If diversity wasn't a strength in your home country (likely it wasn't), its not a strength here in America. What binds Americans is our American constitutionally bound Christian values. Stop believing in this pluralist for pluralist sake nonsense.

Converting to Christianity would help as well. We don't need Bhudda or Vishnu or Allah here. Leave the idols back in the primitive lands you escaped, or return there, back to the chains the idolaters have for you.

9
MerlynTrump 9 points ago +9 / -0

I think Buddha was actually a person, not an idol. Just a wise man who meditated under a tree and had some ideas.

4
Wearyman 4 points ago +5 / -1

True. Mohammed was a real man too. But Bhudda has been literally "Idolized". IE: Turned into giant idols that people pay homage to. Vishnu (and Shiva and all the Indian gods) were, of course, never anything but idols. (Unless they were first Demons masquerading as gods. Which, may be true.)

6
MerlynTrump 6 points ago +6 / -0

Sure, but I think there are Buddhists who hold to the original beliefs that he was basically a philosopher, like our Socrates or Plato, but Buddha was made into an idol as the religion spread to other parts of Asia.

4
Wearyman 4 points ago +4 / -0

There may be. But we have to understand that modern Bhuddism isn't really the same. I'm fine with regarding Bhudda as a philosopher. But modern Bhuddism regards him as a special enlightened one, nearly a god. Not really the same.

1
MerlynTrump 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah, I think that makes sense.

I think there's a difference between Theravada and Mahayana. One is atheist like Buddha was, the other believes in different gods and "boddhisatvas" and has more adherents than the branch that is more faithful to Buddha's teaching.

I’m Christian but you do realize freedom of religion is in the constitution? What you’re advocating is in itself un-American. That said I have no problems not allowing satanists and followers of the certain pedophile religion

18
Killroyomega 18 points ago +22 / -4

The founders wrote that amendment with the understanding that there would be no preference been denominations of Christianity, nor would there be priests holding office in both the church and in government.

They NEVER intended for Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, nor for any other religion to hold a place of reverence in America.

2
WiseOldOwl 2 points ago +2 / -0

Jefferson said religion didn't matter. "It matters not to me if my neighbor says there is no god, or there are twenty gods. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg."

I am brought to understand however at that time they had no contact with islam, and after the war with the barbary corsairs, there was talk about perhaps making an exception to keep that kind of crazy out. It didn't happen.

It is a common failing of humans to imagine others are like yourself, and that if you treat them well they will treat you well. Some religions can exist side by side with mutual respect. Others can't.

12
el-y0y0s 12 points ago +14 / -2

The constitution protects us from a federal government that would attempt to usurp power under religious authority - like the Anglican church did in England. The constitution doesn't say we can't be Christian, or hold a Christian ideal in our homeland and political offices. That's left to the people - who are rapidly decaying into a non Christian way of life.

12
Jack_Burton 12 points ago +12 / -0

It also didn’t say we should welcome an inundation of hostile religious zealouts

1
Mulky 1 point ago +2 / -1

I have to assume when you say that, you either don't know or forget what is said in John 14:6-7: "6 - Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7- If you really know me, you will know b my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

There is no other way or religion that will get you to heaven. It's not being a "religious zealots", it's the truth plain a simple.

2
Jack_Burton 2 points ago +2 / -0

No, the “religious zealots” I was speaking of were the pagan religions and moon cults.

4
Wearyman 4 points ago +5 / -1

Well I didn't say it would be REQUIRED. Only ENCOURAGED. They are, of course, free to continue to follow their pagan beliefs if they wish, PROVIDED that their religious principles are not at odds with the principles of American Liberty.

Unfortunately, that does eliminate several large religions. Islam and traditional Hindusim among them. Bhuddism would be OK, as would Sikhism and most of the smaller, non-violent religious beliefs.

But we have to draw the line to protect society.

1
MAGA_MEXICAN_CHILI 1 point ago +1 / -0

Then in 100 years.

We need to encourage people to convert to Neo-Baptist as that's the true way of Christ. Believing in Catholicism or Protestantism is all fine but we should encourage that this way and only this way is the right way for the United States.

The slippery slope will wax and wane. Hell at the founding there was talks of kicking Catholics or excluding them from Citizenship because they weren't Quaker, Protestant or some variation of Lutherian.

Hell to be frank if I was to be an hard core Catholic, I would see anyone who follows the Lutheran Church and any derivative as Blasphemers that should be condemned to hellfire because they followed Martin Luther to form a perverted version of Catholicism.

So chew on that...before you come up with these half cocked ideas. The 1st Amendment and freedom of Religion is enshrined for a reason so people like you and the state cannot force some variation and bastardization of religion just to live here and as a means to be a citizen. If our forefather's were ok with a state religion they would be Anglican and we'd all be sipping tea and talking about how much we'd love the queen.

0
Wearyman 0 points ago +1 / -1

Even the Founders understood that Islam was incompatible with Freedom. They hadn't had as much exposure to the Asian and Indian religions yet at that time, but I have no doubt they would have excluded many of them as well.

The sooner you understand that, the sooner you will understand why the Left wants so many Muslims here.

1
FamburgerHelper 1 point ago +2 / -1

Thank you for pointing that out! Freedom of (or even from) religion is pretty much why America exists.

-1
Jack_Burton -1 points ago +4 / -5

Non-Christians should be able to live and trade in a Christendom, (wherever that is) but no citizenship.

Also, character assessments and productivity should be checked.

0
becky21k1 0 points ago +3 / -3

Pede you fail to grasp that in America there is no state religion and people are free to worship as they please.

-4

Freedom of religion. Separation of church and state. Fuck I swear this place becomes worse everyday. Make a forum the_christ for your christianity circle jerk.

4
Wearyman 4 points ago +8 / -4

It's freedom OF religion. Not FROM religion. You don't want to believe, you don't have to. But you don't get to tell me to go away either. You are required to tolerate the presence of religion, just as I tolerate your non-belief.

3
Litterboxer1 3 points ago +6 / -3

Huh? This is in complete contradiction of what you just posted.

0
Wearyman 0 points ago +4 / -4

No. No it isn't. The fact that you don't understand that shows how basic and limited your understanding of spirituality is.

3
Litterboxer1 3 points ago +6 / -3

Hahaha holy shit are you that dense? You go from saying we should convert people to christianity and that people who aren't christian should leave and go back to where they came from, but now say, and I quote "You don't want to believe, you don't have to. But you don't get to tell me to go away either".
If that's not a complete contradiction I don't know what is. 😂😂

1
ufkyflflfguio 1 point ago +2 / -1

My wife (and her twin sister) is a naturalized US citizen, born in a refugee camp in Thailand after her parents escaped from the Khmer Rouge. She and her family maintain a connection to the old country, but it’s summed up as “why we left, and why America is the Promised Land.” They despise commies, having had a good look at communism from the inside of a gulag. They miss what they lost, but love what they’ve found here. They do display the Cambodian flag, but always below the Stars & Stripes, with a clear understanding—as my Father-In-Law puts it—that it represents “what happened over there must never be allowed to happen over here.”

My Father-In-Law was a teenage soldier in the old Royal Cambodian Army, one of the local forces the Green Berets were sent to train and assist. He fought Cambodian commies as well as Vietnamese and Lao commies who crossed the border, but that wasn’t why they sent him and his family off to the Killing Fields. His “crime against glorious socialism” was being fluent and literate in two languages (Khmer and French) and worse, teaching others to read and write in them as well. The commies in Cambodia took censorship all the way to its Fahrenheit 451-style conclusion of trying to eliminate literacy. For that, he and his wife were taken from their home. For that, they were beaten, tortured, and starved. For that, he was forced to watch while they murdered his young son. For that, he was frequently forced to watch while they raped his wife (this happened so often during their years-long ordeal that my wife & her twin wondered for a long time whether or not their Dad was really their biological father—he is).

They’re as based as it gets. They don’t vote for Democrats, and they’re fed up with RINOs. They don’t want leftism of any kind. They’ve seen that movie, and it sucks.

13
Killroyomega 13 points ago +13 / -0

Americans don't know nearly enough about what happened in Cambodia.

Of the few that even know the names Khmer Rouge or Pol Pot, very, very few know that the US government supported Pol Pot in exile after Vietnam invaded and documented the crimes of the Kampuchian People's Revolutionary Army, or whatever ridiculous variant of commie name they were using.

Yes, let me repeat that: The US government attempted to prop up a genocidal communist.

6
YT45 6 points ago +6 / -0

They did indeed, after first helping him win when the official US strategy to combat commie advances in Cambodia became “bomb everything, including our allies.”

The Red Chinese also supported Pol Pot aka Asian Hitler, going so far as invading Vietnam when the Vietnamese commies invaded Cambodia. The ChiComs still say they won. The trail of burned PLA tanks and dead Chinamen all the way back to the Chinese border says otherwise.

Also keep in mind that the North Vietnamese were evil commie assholes with plenty of their own gulags and mass graves filled with the people they claimed to be liberating. When they invaded Cambodia and saw Pol Pot’s operation up close, even they said “This is too much!”

I mean, in essence when you're on the backfoot of a war...after you go full dumb and decide to rush B like an idiot...taking care of the infirm goes out the window.

Theorycrafting some musings about WWI...Hitler's Greater Germany could have existed had he not gone for the whole of Europe (should have studied History and Napoleonic wars). Expelling the Jews from Germany would have been a lesser drain on manpower... I mean, you've captured lands that the British occupied...why not dump them there. Save yourself the trouble and let the locals 'deal' with them as they see fit. However Hitler's Germany would still be a threat just on the basis that its also Communistic in its founding (all roads lead to Engels). Sure he may have been a nationalist, but he was a socialist first, nationalist second.

1
YT45 1 point ago +1 / -0

The VC/NLF were not much of a factor in the latter half of the war, and are generally exaggerated and overestimated in popular history. The majority of the fighting forces on the commie side in Vietnam were North Vietnamese Army regulars. The Cong were poorly-trained, poorly-equipped homegrown commie guerillas/terrorists in South Vietnam who answered to and were supported by the commies up north, but they were rarely effective at anything other than planting booby traps and terrifying civilians, and tended to get slaughtered whenever they openly engaged US, ARVN, Filipino, ROK, Australian, or other allied forces. They essentially ceased to be a real factor after the 1968 Tet Offensive, where the NVA used them as cannon fodder and expended them accordingly.

The NVA was a professional army, trained and equipped by the Russians and Chinese. They had tanks, but didn’t use them too often due to logistical constraints (and the fact that US/ARVN/Allied tanks usually tended to fuck them all the way up on the rare occasion that they met in tank-on-tank engagements). They also had heavy artillery, which they used a bit more as long as they could pack in ammo for the big guns. The NVA embraced asymmetrical warfare, trying to create a quagmire that would lose popularity with the US public (which worked mainly thanks to American traitors like Walter Cronkite). They often had their guys ditch their uniforms in favor of coolie hats and black pajamas, but the rule of thumb was that if they could actually fight, they were NVA, regardless of how they were dressed.

When the commies restarted hostilities in ‘75, it was all NVA. The few VC who were still around were marginalized into irrelevance by their erstwhile allies. The NVA were far more effective than the VC, and even so, they could rarely match, much less defeat, American forces in the field. Almost everything about the popular image of the Viet Cong is a myth, except their fondness for murdering their own people. Of course, the NVA were similarly brutal. The ARVN could be nasty at times, but the commies made them look like a church choir in comparison. The Khmer Rouge put them all to shame in terms of inhuman brutality.

During the Communist Khmer Rouge insurgency and rule over Cambodia, The Khmer Rouge was funded by Communist China and the Communist USSR.

During the Communist Vietnamese invasion and occupation of Cambodia, the US continued to recognize the Communist Khmer Rouge as the government of Cambodia and voted to let them retain Cambodia’s seat in the UN General Assembly.

This is why mass immigration is over abused. Every tom, dick and jane that pass through our border illegally, is destroying our founding integrity's. We are losing our values, and our country, by free hardheartedly allowing people from third world countries, a key to our communities with their intentions of destroying our own heritage. We have people making laws, that we must follow, that have literally destroyed the values of what America stands for, while allowing foreigners to avoid such goals of respecting our values. We truly have an enemy controlling our legislatures

I'm with you in spirit, but what will happen then is that the entire back office will move to India, including hundreds of thousands of of middle class jobs in the US. This is 100% why H-1B is necessary.

Unless you are willing to create overwhelming tariffs against such activity, which will NEVER pass Congress. OR the companies will move their domicile too. Trust me, that's the endgame of eliminating H-1B.

IMO the better approach is a smoother and faster path to citizenship. Make the H-1B's stay here and learn how to integrate better. And harsh crackdowns on the companies that abuse H-1. Win-win-win for everyone.

They'll domicile in the country that gives them the most advantage (whether through trade deals, tax laws, military protection, lifestyle for executives, etc.).

Here's my new rule: For any corporation to be registered as an "American" company, 70% of the employees in the company, it's subsidiaries, and it's parent company (if there is one), must be American citizens.

hmm, well, then they'll have the low, low employee rates in India. The key word being in India. How did that work out when they put the call centers there? How would American executives like living in India? Fine. Let them go. honestly, I'd much rather facebook, google, YouTube moved to India...move the whole damn operation there. I hope they incorporate there. That sounds FANTASTIC to me! You know why right? 'cause they won't be able to get totally embedded in our national security apparatus the way they're trying. There will be no reason for them to cooperate with our government. It will weaken D.C. And that, my friend, is why D.C. wants H1B Visas.

You can get effective code out of Indians in India if you manage them well. But agree, the overhead cost for that, the relative lower productivity, and higher risk tend to somewhat offset the cost advantages. But a 5x rate advantage is pretty compelling if you are looking at purely just the financials.

H1B exists for the same reason people are waltzing willy nilly over our southern border from every country on the globe, Democrats want votes and Corporations want cheap labor, an it and it's Americans that ultimately suffer.

So you would be against anyone who hires H1B workers?

rentfREEEE_since2016 8 points ago +8 / -0

And none of the boomer voters would have believed you and would have continued to vote and consume the slippery slope towards our current dystopia. It’s like the fucking twilight zone episode where Shatner sees the monster on the plane.

I can’t emphasize this enough. Stop using these companies services and stop investing in them. Our own 401ks are funding our own demise.

Dialectic 7 points ago +7 / -0

I’m certain all our ancestral based farmer revolutionaries who gave up literally everything to join the fight against the British empire were thinking “I’m glad to give my life so that some fuckin Indian or paki can come over and run our companies”

H1B? Isn't that just Janissaries with extra steps?

3

They still have their junk so one step has been overlooked and Also....they're not White Slaves as what the Janissaries began as. The White Children kidnapped by Muslims in conquered European Nations.

Americans can fix this BS real quick by tuning out of Twitter and dumping Apple. Twitter is a toxic poison to society that needs to be dumped.

1
alucard13mmfmj 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah.. lotta insane people on twitter.

1
Do_the_Math 1 point ago +1 / -0

This site is loaded with crap from Twitter even when the same stuff is available on Gab or Gettr.

We can either be for or against censorship and tyranny. If we are truly against it, we will do everything within our power to avoid giving it more power and every in our power to fight against it.

Sponsoring and promoting Twitter in every other post is not taking a stand against tyranny. In fact, it is not only submitting to it, it is promoting it.

Anyone who is posting crap from Twitter is part of the problem. They are wolves in sheep's clothing lulling us into a trap. Twitter should be banned 100% on this site or it needs to change its name to Sheep.Slaughter,

1
alucard13mmfmj 1 point ago +1 / -0

Problem is gab and etc are just echo chambers like twitter, reddit and like .win.

We can preach to the choir all day long, but it doesnt make much ofa diff on our side. Platform has to have general appeal to all users. I use twitter because all my favorite hentai artists and 3d porn artists are on twitter.. and i believe gab doesnt like adult stuff.

Same with youtube... but odysess, bitchute and etc are just mostly right wing content (more echo chambers) and political stuff. Very uncommon to find makeup vids or gaming vids (both of those make up bulk of yt's traffic) on alt platform. There must be audience and incentive if one expect content makers to move.

1
Do_the_Math 1 point ago +1 / -0

There isn't a good alternative to Facebook, but I still deleted my account because is a toxic waste hole that benefits a tyrant. Freedom and dignity are more important than convenience. I am able to get content and make connections outside of Facebook, and without the censorship.

We are at a crossroad. If these tech overlords continue to grow, freedom as we know will be lost in a matter of years. Unless freedom lovers are willing to man-up and make sacrifices now to dump the platforms, there will be no hope or going back in the future. They will control the narrative, elections, and social scores.

As to content that is not available on other sites, it is not applicable here. This is a conservative site, and the alt content you speak of is not being posted on Patriots.win. What is being posted from Twitter is political stuff than can be found elsewhere.

If we are serious about freedom and fighting the tech oligarchs, we have to start by making a stand.

Why shouldn't they?

Our ancestors conquered the whole damned world.

Now the others see an opportunity to conquer us.

If you want to be concerned about the lack of loyalty, look no further then the shareholders of the fortune 500.

They are clearly our real enemy above all others.

And many of them live in middle class or nice suburban homes with no security.

The problem is not that the enemy is taking advantage of the opportunities.

The problem is that we allow our nations to give them the opportunity.

This happens because most people are stupid and believe things with high products values and an authoritative feeling, so long as its stamped with the correct logo.

Torba is 100% right here.

3
JBlaze056 3 points ago +3 / -0

How? Because undermining American citizens, especially white Americans, is the preferred operating procedure for those in charge.

3
Save_the_Republic 3 points ago +3 / -0

I wrote a scathing letter to my state senator, who supported these visas, as I was actively seeking an education so as to work in the tech sector. I needed a job as a new graduate. I didn't want some foreign being shipped in here and given a job I otherwise was qualified for and needed. He actually responded, or his office did. Needless to say, he couldn't care less about what his constituents want or need. These politicians and elites can all fuck off. Evil bastards.

I have never hired an H1B holder, only people I believe typify American values. I made 2 mistakes and both have since quit.

SiBear117 2 points ago +2 / -0

Chairman & CEO of Coca-Cola - Ahmet Mutar Kent (Turkey)

Former Chairman and CEO of Pepsi - Indra Nooyi (India)

Chairman & CEO Microsoft - Satya Nadella (India)

CEO Google - Sundar Pinchai (India)

CEO Twitter - Parag Agrawal - (India)

See the pattern?

Yes, the pattern is that boomers' "race doesn't matter" stuff is and always was bullshit

I don't mind the American Dream working. Our great titans of industry like Carnegie were immigrants. What bothers me is the very direct collusion between these tech titans who just happen to all be from India. Oligopoly is just as bad as monopoly, maybe worse.

As someone whose family immigrated from India .... He's right. My parents left India because of how the Hindus treated christians only to find America, supposedly a Christian nation, happily embracing pagans that simply cannot share our culture due to fundamentally different world views. Only Christian immigration from India please.

Hinduism and American notions of rights and equality before the law is incompatible. No more hinduization of America. Assimilation and citizenship and conversion first

At no point from living on a visa (employment tied to a single company) for several years to finally getting a green card (work for who ever you want, permanent residency) did I ever get asked any questions about my beliefs. I could've been an avowed Marxist, as long as you have not been an official member of a communist party they'll just care about whether your job role and information is accurate, whether you've ever broken the law or done drugs.

I love America and it's constitution, but I feel like that should be a prerequisite for even a visa. Let's go Brandon!!!!

That is fucking IT. Torba nails it. I was just having this conversation a few days ago. What's with all these commies from INDIA running our countries? The problem is we are too busy and too nice.

Anyone got sources and lists of who these people are and what they run?
