Fuck everyone moving to NC and turning it blue. Ruined my town and are ruining my state. My hometown is one big liberal strip mall now.

Here in TX, seeing a big difference in the new "immigrants" before and after 2020. The new ones coming from CA now are extremely based and to the right of the average Texan. Before they mostly came for economic reasons now it's specifically because they hate leftist/communist bullshit.

I'm up in Lake, and I don't know of any. Maybe further to the west in Cleveland but not out here

Cyer6 10 points ago +10 / -0

Can confirm. Not just coming from CA anymore either. I have based neighbors from other shithole blue states.

5
LowKeyPede 5 points ago +5 / -0

My former blue state provided the biggest red pill in existence.

7
CAIndependent 7 points ago +7 / -0

-10 from CA, +10 to TN from my extended family and I. We're very conservative and consider ourselves refugees. 6 conservative voters right now with one more in about 26 months. My 15 year old niece is super based.

edit - And the best part of all this is that the people leaving these states are tax payers... the people who're softening the net migration number in CA, at least, are tax users

texas4ever 3 points ago +3 / -0

You raise a good point about the $$ red states are bringing in. FL is off the charts in this area....we are doing well in TX, but in FL the amount of AGI they are bringing in from other states is insane.

1
IncensedThurible 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not all good. The housing market in FL has completely priced out native Floridians. All of their homes are going to immigrants now.

2
texas4ever 2 points ago +2 / -0

We are having a lot of these same issues in TX. Because the blue states are so destructive, they are pushing out many people...a lot of good ones, but the housing market is pricing people out here too especially in the suburbs. Countryside is still pretty cheap.

Hey new neighbor. If you are in coffee county by some coincidence I'd love to hang out sometime.

good to know. Thanks for reporting from the trenches.

3
covok48 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yeah whatever you fucking CA transplant fag. The CA locusts are worse than ever.

4
texas4ever 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm not from CA. Before 2020 most people from CA moving here came for financial reasons. Recently almost every new CA transplant is to the right of the average Texan. They are specially moving here because they hate CA. I know the MSM is talking about all these people turning TX purple and then blue, but I would bet a lot of money we go further red.

BigIronBigIron 11 points ago +11 / -0

Yeah well the blue states turned into the third world. My hometown was flooded with Middle Easterners seemingly overnight, Central Americans for decades.

At least you're getting Americans.

11
covok48 11 points ago +11 / -0

I don’t consider Communists Americans.

3
Togan9876 3 points ago +3 / -0

I don't consider communists to be human.

2
independentbystander 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is what I have experienced in recent years. My Flyover State small-town is flooded with migrants, and other towns in the area have been completely taken over. It's unrecognizable. The rural area where I live is also falling fast, although most of the migrants are concentrated "in town."

This is why North Carolina is so purple now. Californians move to Texas, like New Yorkers move to North Carolina. The last 20 years they've come in droves, buying up all of the pristine mountain properties and turning the small towns into bohemian shitshows.

20
soysaucenuts 20 points ago +20 / -0

No they will not because we , the taxpayers, will continue to prop them up. Just like all these woke companies that have zero business but never seem to go under. Their biggest consumer is the government who subsidizes their wokeness. We literally pay for our jailers.

There will be a big economic crash, probably not too far in the future is my guess, that will end the days of free money. A second great depression, more or less. A long, grinding bear market for stocks kind of like that was. All the debt fueled destruction that should have happened from the 2008 crash, that was forestalled by the free money printing, finally coming home to roost. Interest rates will go up dramatically, which won't bankrupt the federal gov, but it will greatly diminish its ability to issue new debt. Forcing it to live within its means, means that will be reduced by reduced tax revenue as a result of the depression. Long story short, fed gov spending will be cut roughly in half.

Believe me, I wish I could tell you exactly when. I'm looking for 6000-ish on the SP500 in the next 2-3 yrs and calling a top there. I expect the markets to lose at least 2/3 of their value, but unlike 2008, when they bounced back, they will stay down for many years. The big question I have at this point is how safe will cash be at that time. For many at the start of the last great depression, cash wasn't very safe. But for others it was. Depended on where it was held. I don't believe relying on the FDIC is good strategy.

Politically it will be worse than the last GD because we were a united country then, but not now. I think it's anybody's guess if the USA remains one entity or becomes 2 or 3. Once the government can no longer print the money to buy the power that it wields, all bets are off.

3
shaven_llama 3 points ago +3 / -0

My guess is economic pragmatism and sentimentality are the only things holding the Union together at this point. If a number of states blame the Feds for the economic situation and think they can do better on their own, you may well see a split this time.

2
Lamech_Slade 2 points ago +3 / -1

If they allow Republicans to win in 2022, then this will be next so that they can blame the depression on "the far right extremists" who were elected. Then they'll present a communist as the savior....

5
rebelde_sin_causa 5 points ago +5 / -0

I dunno if they can make it all the way to the end of 2024 without the crash happening. If so, whoever the next president is will take the fall like Herbert Hoover did.

2
soysaucenuts 2 points ago +2 / -0

And your remedy is?

19
Yianni1955 19 points ago +19 / -0

For now, red states are like a safety valve. As long as there is a sufficient level of freedom in red states, people will just move to escape the blue state oppression. Once there are no options left and life becomes real crappy, THEN you'll start seeing some violence. We have a ways to go yet.

I'm in Texas (Dallas metroplex) and really concerned by the California plates I see. I hope these are good pedes moving here for good reasons, not idiots who want to turn Texas blue.

15
liberty4alll 15 points ago +16 / -1

Think about it. To be conservative in California is to be based while EVERYTHING and EVERYONE around you is nonstop pressuring you to be liberal. California conservatives are hardened and the kind of folks you want on your side.

1
sentient-potato 1 point ago +1 / -0

I hope and pray you're right!

Those I welcome with open arms, and an open cooler :)

0
IncensedThurible 0 points ago +1 / -1

No, to be conservative in CA is to be a moderate liberal.

6
Tejanopede 6 points ago +6 / -0

The only things that are going to turn Texas blue are voter fraud (specifically the counters and mail-in ballots), and illegal immigration. They’re both happening this year, so sign up to watch polls or whatever else you can do.

2
texas4ever 2 points ago +2 / -0

Precinct committeeman strategy is very important. Then we can serve as actual election workers, which is one step ahead of being an observer. We definitely have to flood the zone with observers too. VA just got great results because they had so many people watching.

1
sentient-potato 1 point ago +1 / -0

I agree, and I'm going to see what that entails.

Please come inhabit the $500 houses in St Louis City. In 1950 St Louis city had 850k residents and today it has 300,000 if 500,000 of you want to come here we have plenty of room and empty houses and we can immediately turn it red and prosperous again.

4
MrVegan 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yes, if you can show you can take care of the abandoned property the city will sell it to you for $1. My buddies have bought a few and turned them into rentals or flipped. It’s a lot of work in a dead city for little reward when everyone is leaving for the countryside.

2
Togan9876 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nobody in their right mind should be living in a city.

2
M1919A2 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes. There's St. Louis City and St. Louis County. City cut off the county in the late 1870's. Today the County is where most people live, but even then there is North County where all the population are poor. West County is where all the rich people live, and South County is basically where all the blue collar/country folks who worked in the trades back in the day lived. They tried to merge the two together again a few years ago until the County Executive got hauled off by the FBI for bribery.

But Real Estate got stupid here in West County last year. We put in a cash offer on this house in December 2020. Moved in March of 2021 and put old house up for sale in March on a Friday and had three offers by Sunday above asking price. We ended up selling our 2400 sq. ft. house for $10,000 less than this 3400 Sq. Ft. house cost and all we did was literally move from the north side of Carman Road to the Southside...

2
IeatCrakerzNbed 2 points ago +2 / -0

Except they just conned their way into printing 10 trillion dollars worth of Fiat federal blue state welfare currency. That'll be enough to pad their books for 2 decades.

2
Maroon 2 points ago +2 / -0

If we don't make it illegal for them to come to our states and shit them up we'll be right there with them. I'm in GA and we're already seeing absurd house pricing inflation driven in part by these idiots that sold their shacks for a million dollars and then come here offering obscene amounts because they have no sense of perspective.

People are starting to do that fag shit where they name a price and when you make an offer for exactly what they ask, they turn you down because what they actually wanted was up to 50% more than what the asked for. My aunt and uncle found a house they wanted listed for 240, they offered 280, and got turned down only for someone to show up and offer 320 cash. Fucking dogshit all around.

2
Lol_Garrus 2 points ago +2 / -0

Need to find some based pedes with lots of money to buy billboards all over in these red states that say.

"If voting democrat worked, you would have stayed in your democrat state. Vote conservative."

2
Wholelottarosie1776 2 points ago +2 / -0

I thought of something like this today but for blue cities. In NYC there is plenty of prime ad space to shame these degenerate morons.

2
SharterInChief 2 points ago +2 / -0

Can’t wait till they’re ash and we can go back in and reclaim our cities and beautiful lands being fucking ruined and mismanaged. Bulldozers and power washers

2
defiant_liberty 2 points ago +2 / -0

Think about that. Over 1000 people per day are leaving CA.

2
Rucus0101 2 points ago +2 / -0

Texas will be a blue state in the next 10 years. I live in one of the most red counties in the state. A large majority of the new migrants are old family democrat money. As soon as the show up they rave about how nice this place is with no crime freedom and low tax. Then they plant a Biden flag in the front yard.

2
MrVegan 2 points ago +2 / -0

1
FitOfficial 1 point ago +1 / -0

This isn't balkanization.

8
IntrepidBurger 8 points ago +8 / -0

It's polarization.

But as time progresses and blue states get more blue, they will start implementing actual service cutoffs for those who don't ascribe to Leftist dogma (eg. vaccine databases). Fully cutting off dissidents from work, banking and basic subsistance.

Once that goes on in full force the red states will do the same in kind. We'll have parallel economies and full balkanization at that point.

2
FitOfficial 2 points ago +2 / -0

I disagree. Even if the "United States" divided up into two entities again collapse of one and reunification would occur long before two full parallel societies developed.

The future outcome distinction is pointless though because we already have "states". We're already as balkanized as we're going to get. You can't balkanize what's already balkanized. It's just a midwit talking point.
