Ted just wrote his epitaph. He is a political fool.

This is worse than any takedown I’ve seen where Tucker held a Republican to account.

This is almost on the level of the really early Tucker shows from 2017 when liberals actually went on.

Jtenten 339 points ago +342 / -3

What a sorry ass admission of his ”mistake”. Ted Cruz is a paper-thin veneer of a conservative. The real reason he said they were terrorists was that he thought the tide was turning against conservatives. That’s what men without faith and courage do. They are double-minded and they are tossed around like a wave in the wind. I’m so disappointed because Ted is right - he did stand up when it felt like a heroic moment to oppose the election results. When he felt cornered? Left us all to watch ACTUAL men rot in J6 prison.

South Carolina is a very cuckservative state that votes for RINOs out of blind party tribalism.

What a shame. South Carolina deserves better. Graham has got to go. He is only a conservative the year he is up for re-election.

2

Is it true that South Carolina has an open primary? If so, I imagine that would be a big factor as to why they have such weak candidates

Ill agree in part. Most are old normies who for the most part still believe everything coming from Fox News, but they are slowly waking up! Like you Im sick of milquetoast Republicans in SC, Im ready for an asskicker like SC used to have!

I remember SC townhalls were on fire after Sotomayer was confirmed - which he could have blocked. Maybe there's something else going on with the vote in SC.

Thats what you get when half the population of your state are hispanic immigrants who welcome their people with open arms. Those illegals are their cousins and aunts, sisters and nephews. They will decimate one state after the other until this country is unrecognizable and its culture has been erased and replaced.

7

Generational gap, so much wealthy living rubs off the wrong way on our kids who haven't had to work for anything, and didn't "play outside"...everyone got a trophy...etc. Cruz is very sad considering his talent, especially with his family Cuban exile heritage. He chose to forget his roots. His wife is high up the Goldman bank chain IIRC. You can probably count with one hand the number of Senators that are still free from big lobby $$ (Marsha Blackburn...?). Graham in SC, big mouth, no action waste of a human.

I live in west Texas. We just got a new rep in 2020 (the old one retired after 30 years).

We should have a Bobert, MTG, or Gaetz.

Instead we have a guy who holds hands with Kevin McCarthy. This rep moved back to the district from DC to run. He had plenty of money (wonder where that came from?) to whip up on everyone during the primary and (unfortunately) also had an endorsement from Trump (but a picture of himself with Pence on his website).

He made it clear during the primary that he wouldn't be joining the freedom caucus if he won the primary.

He won the primary easily.

Shit sucks.

i can only imagine his handlers telling him, you've got 2024 in the bag, you just have to pivot to the center and let everyone know what a moderate you are! what an absolute fool!

i would love to see the full interview. how far does ted backtrack? does he admit that the J6 political prisoners are being unfairly prosecuted? if so what's he done about it prior to his little "mistake"? if he's done nothing, then his mistake seems intentional...

9
Runfree 9 points ago +9 / -0

Full interview way better

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=koP0W6sEwwc

Tucker stays on fire and Cruz explains himself

7
Dingus 7 points ago +8 / -1

Yeah, Ted did pretty well overall. His real mistake is trying to be fair to the other side.

13
Cyer6 13 points ago +13 / -0

But I can't get over what crawled into his head yesterday and told him to say what he said in that committee. His words exactly were "a terrorist attack ON THE CAPITAL." Those words mean that everyone there was engaged in an ATTACK on the capital and that makes them terrorists. He did not say the people who assaulted cops are terrorists. What made this guy think this was such a good move in his political career? Boggling.

6
Judiwont 6 points ago +6 / -0

Somewhat agree. Ted has proven to be a snake. But I'll give him some credit, it took balls to address it on Tucker. But he weaseled his way out of the questions, like the slippery fuck he is. So that gives us a slippery snake with balls. So he is basically a UPenn swimmer.

JohnCocktoastin 5 points ago +17 / -12

I sent this to someone else I was talking to, thought I would put it here. Fully prepared for people to not see it this way, but that’s ok.

As I see Tucker Carlson call Cruz out, I had the epiphany that is likely completely scripted. And likely with the support/approval of Trump. This is a big end around rope-a-dope of the media to get them to cover the counter narrative that Trump himself could not have gotten. Why I think this:

Cruz isn’t retarded. He knows how words matter in DC. He also knows that zero people he needs backing him believe this bogus FBI glow op muh insurrection narrative. Such a monumental political blunder like this, if taken at face value, would be one of the biggest in recent history. In fact, a worse one at the national level doesn’t come to mind. There is also nothing political to gain with this right now. Primaries are too far out as far as news/political cycles go. So is any Jan 6 commission report. Which also appears to be going nowhere fast. To grandstand like this with such a deliberate back stab of your own base, while having to be completely knowledgeable of what your own voters think of Jan 6 and what they’ll think of you for saying that…one would have to completely throw out everything we ever thought about this guy to believe he is this out of touch and this much of a rino turncoat backstabber. Not buying it.

But what does this statement do? It gets “our” controlled opposition media backed into a corner and forced to cover this story from the perspective that this was a glow op and wasn’t even close to how the dems are portraying it. Because we are sitting here steaming about the audacity that Cruz of all people said it. Not Ben Sasse. Not Mitt Romney…Ted Cruz.

What else does it do? MSM absolutely gets off on throwing salt in our wounds. Probably champing at the bit to show everyone that “even Ted Cruz acknowledges the egregious horrors of Jan 6 caused by muh drumpf” and gets them covering it.

https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/ted-cruz-pathetic-tucker-carlson-jan-6-apology-1280783/

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/01/06/tucker-carlson-slams-ted-cruz-republicans-calling-jan-6-capitol-riot-a-violent-terrorist-attack/

https://www.houstonchronicle.com/politics/texas/article/ted-cruz-jan-6-terrorist-attack-reactions-gop-16754287.php

https://www.thedailybeast.com/ted-cruz-begs-tucker-carlson-to-forgive-him-tucker-carlson-makes-ted-cruz-beg-harder

https://www.knkx.org/2022-01-06/republicans-criticize-ted-cruz-for-calling-jan-6-a-violent-terrorist-attack

Many more links I could offer, but you get the point. In their joyful glee to dump salt in the wound, they are forced to explain why Cruz is on the hot seat - we all think this was a fake n gay glow op that the democrats are exploiting for political gain. Which would not be at all in the news cycle anywhere had he not done this. So my take - dude has brass balls to take one for the team here because people are heated he said it. For the greater good.

Edit: also of note - if Cruz were acting on behalf of uniparty or in official rino capacity, MSM wouldn’t be ridiculing him or running demoralizing hitpieces about him.

23
Glorydog 23 points ago +23 / -0

Get this 4d chess bullshit out of here. Lying Ted stabbed us in the back because he is, and always was, a RINO.

FinishTheBorderWall 2 points ago +2 / -0

So does this mean Tucker (leave Hunter alone!) Carlson is on our side again or are they all just shitty RINO actors?

1
JohnCocktoastin 1 point ago +3 / -2

As I said to someone else: even if a RINO, he isn’t a brain dead one. Nobody in DC puts their neck out like this for literally no up side and all down side. Epic down side with no contemporary rival that I can recall in modern national politics. If this was a RINO/Uniparty courtesy move, MSM/leftist media wouldn’t be running hit pieces ridiculing him for going on tucker to beg for forgiveness and rubbing salt in our wounds over it.

6
HockeyMom4Trump 6 points ago +6 / -0

I think this is exactly what Ted would say if he wanted to cover his ass.😂😂

Maybe JohnCocktoastin is really Ted

4
JohnCocktoastin 4 points ago +4 / -0

No doubt what he said was ridiculous and egregious. But what does he gain? What does anyone gain? Unless you look at it this way, there is zero upside. This is literally the only way to find an up side in the situation. So while I cannot say with certainty I am correct, what I would say is that the lack of any upside under the theory that this was a back stab eliminates that as a possibility. Which bolsters my theory, but doesn’t prove it. Because the possibility of just fucking up is still there. But Ted did go front and center on fraud and did vote against certifying the electors. Even after muh drumpf incited erection. Because he’s smart enough to read those tea leaves. To say he stepped in it here is to say he actually is a complete dumbass and is politically tone deaf. Why go through that Jan 6 stuff last year and the lead up to it then if you’re gonna turn around now and pull this? Just doesn’t pencil out for me here.

6
Pepeflavorednoodles 6 points ago +6 / -0

Or what if, hear me out here, Ted Cruz is just a fucking idiot? Your seeing hyper intelligence but I’m just seeing a lack of it. When something looks really stupid, guess which one it tends to be?

2
JohnCocktoastin 2 points ago +2 / -0

I’m not saying Cruz conceived of it. Trump/Trump team likely did and enlisted him. Would explain the sudden deck chair shuffling with the spontaneous cancellation of his competing press conference that was supposed to be today. While impossible to rule out, to accept that he’s this retarded would be saying that nobody in modern politics has made a self caused blunder that has exceeded this. And think of the real beauties that we’ve had the pleasure of dealing with over the decades in DC.

2
AllTheWayTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

You act like he’s incapable of making an egregious mistake. He’s not infallible.

4
AllTheWayTrump 4 points ago +4 / -0

This is better fiction than most of what Hollywood is putting out these days.

1
congruent 1 point ago +4 / -3

That's good 3D thinking.

I did not realize that Cruz IS extremely politically savvy and sophisticated with message. You're right, that could not ever have been some slip up. You're right, he would have known exactly what would be the fall out.

However, Cruz is not a millionaire. Someone is funding his campaign, and whoever that is--he owes THEM, not US (nor his Texas constituents). So I am more than wary.

However, Cruz is also extremely smart. So he could be playing both sides.

And Trump's greatest weapon has always been sunlight. Or a spotlight he shines on whatever topic he wants. And, you're right, this DOES focus things precisely where Trump wants them. His recent actions and statements indicate that he is going to ride Election Fraud right to victory and hopefully election security.

So, thanks for all this. I appreciate it, fren.

2
Pepeflavorednoodles 2 points ago +2 / -0

Trump forgot to shine a light on his most important supporters who deserved a mention on that day of any. I doubt both men now. Trump did great things but he’s lost it. Ted never had it.

3
AmazinKrackin2 3 points ago +3 / -0

The Democrat communist used the occasion to show there power and to humble Cruz. He didn't want to but he is compromised and they wanted him to know it. They destroyed his chances for anti run for President and they will do the same to any other compromised Republicans who have any thoughts about running for higher office. The entire Congress signed off on the November 3rd steal so they are lame duck candidates at this point.

Political tool*

He knows that you change what you're saying based upon the audience listening. He'll probably go back to calling it a coup on CBS this Sunday.

This is how all politicians act. I'm not surprised.

It's just going to be tough supporting him in November or whenever he runs again.

I've always said we need to let the eGOP lose an election hard without us voting for their flakey candidates. But I think everyone just goes for the lesser of two evils, so we'll be stuck in this loop forever.

13
DrJosephWarren 13 points ago +13 / -0

Well he sure fucked up here about which audience he thought was listening.

4
mark2398 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm afraid you are right. The vast majority of the population is worried about their favorite ball team, Netflix shows, and getting their DoorDash food order correct. The only way things get fixed is for them to get horribly bad. This requires letting the left fuck everything up. The only problem is it can be 40-50 year turnaround for true Conservatives to make it back in power and most of us won't be around by then. Instead we will get this slow circling of the drain.

2
Floridaman6969 2 points ago +2 / -0

Problem is, Dems federalize the elections, and we can't take back the country ever again, no matter how many real people vote next time. So choose sitting it out wisely.

3
Frog_Anne 3 points ago +3 / -0

Why not go hard in the primaries? Replace the little weasels. If the new people start acting like weasels, then throw them out too. Once a politician is in, somehow it becomes their seat 'til death, like a SC Justice. Those greedy little ticks should live in fear, if they don't vote and write laws the way they promised, they're out on their ear.

11
Kek_The_World 11 points ago +13 / -2

I think Cruz has staffers read patriots.win or at least have a search set up for mentions of his name. It’s not hard to figure out you pissed off your base.

My point? He probably called Tucker and asked to be called out so that he could do the, “Aw, shucks. I was sloppy” routine for damage control.

My opinion? This was more political theater. Have Tucker give him a few lashes and the base is satisfied.

8
FrankDemico 8 points ago +8 / -0

That's what it seemed like to me too... what we are on team cucker now? Hunter's bff? Fuck both of them

3

1
idrago01 1 point ago +2 / -1

1
Paxelmania 1 point ago +1 / -0

just so long as normies don't know he's 100% reliable and just useful for entry-level truths you HAVE to talk about because they're so obvious to the base, but to still think critically about what he says, since he peppers the entry-level basics to build a rep to lie to us about "president biden" and "riot" and so on

6
RStroud 6 points ago +6 / -0

I don't understand how could he could possibly be that out of touch.

2
JackLemon 2 points ago +2 / -0

Satisfied? Get real. People will not forget what he said and if some do we'll remind them. I guarantee Trump and DeSantis will should Lyin' Ted try to run for the Presidency again. Cruz can never claim to be a constitutionalist Patriot again. His credibility in that regard is gone forever.

2
_-Th0r-_ 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nooooo way. No politician wants to take lashes.

This is more like he arrogantly thought he’d get the ol’ buddy ol’ pal treatment and explain the problem away.

But I do agree I think in general him going on the show was his idea for damage control. And he failed.

1
MakeSpaceGreatAgain 1 point ago +1 / -0

8
Dictator_Bob 8 points ago +9 / -1

Yeah the Supreme Court comment w/ language was very, shall we say, specific. Absolutely destroyed him and his backpedal. I am not going to speculate on why he did this. We already know there is a generations-long Marxist operation bearing its fruit in our system today. Whether or how he was caught up in this is of no relevance.

We need political leadership that is committed to protecting our nation and enforcing our laws.

fun fact: browser plugins can usually read and track everything you do online including private data, credit card numbers, etc you enter into the browser. So, compromising your identity and security just to save you from typing a n and .net doesn't seem worth it in my opinion. Also, Chrome sucks because even without a plugin they read all your credit card numbers and everything you do, whether on incognito or not.

This harkens back to when the Cruz campaign spread the rumor that Ben Carson was dropping out of the primary, and then convinced people to switch their vote to Cruz. Of course, Carson wasn't dropping out of the race. He had taken an earlier flight home to be with his family. Cruz then denied this happened. This is how Cruz first got the title:

There's all kinds of information on the Internet if you use a search engine instead of asking others to do your work for you. For example, here is an article about his lame apology after he was called out:

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2016/02/02/ted-cruz-apologizes-to-ben-carson-for-mistake-on-carson-dropout-rumors/

13
Chopblock 13 points ago +13 / -0

So his excuse is that he fell into the neocon terminology he’s been using for a decade equivocating anyone who violently resists muh authoritahs as a “terrorist”. I’m sure that put a smile on cyborg-Cheney’s face.

Cruz was never Trump. Cruz has always been a snake. Always funny when people seem so baffled when they get betrayed by someone like Ted or Nikki Haley or John McCain (rot in hell) or mitt Romney. They're pieces of shit, always have been, always will be.

He never had a golden ticket. No one would vote for him other than the never trumpers. Trump announced he is running, anyone who runs against the trump train will fail.

6
Jimbo28a 6 points ago +6 / -0

He did have a golden ticket. But after Trump announced, all he had to do was support Trump (starting with the Wall), and continue supporting Trump. After Trump was out of the way (in 2 terms at most), Cruz would have OWNED the conservatives.

But Trump hurt his feelings in 2016 and he therapist (his wife) told him to 'fight like a man', and so the pussy-whipped husband tried his best, but just wasn't up to it.

3
OldSchool2 3 points ago +3 / -0

He might of had a chance before 2016, but those primaries showed ted's true colors. He shit the bed and came back and shit it a few more times for good measure. He came back and tried to cover his ass and Trump cleared a seat at the table for him. Ted reflected his true colors and total ignorance to read the room by the comments he made yesterday, period, full stop. He wont recover and the best he can do is grovel up to Trump going forward. He was a decent showman at times, but everyone has a clear view of his true intent and what resides behind the curtain. It's over. Maybe he can join the lincoln project, bill crystal or eddie munster aka paul rino ryan.

1
OldSchool2 1 point ago +1 / -0

I will believe it when I see it. I like desantis somewhat, but he didnt go strong enough on mandates here in FL. He will have a strong base, but I believe he will not run.

3
Cyer6 3 points ago +3 / -0

It'll all depend on Trump. Trump is taking a daily beating with his stance on the vax, not talking about the political prisoners, ignoring the mandates (for the most part) and it continues to erode his base. But when or if he goes all-in for 2024, he will be unbeatable. He will have a massive base of support again. It'll be bigger than it was in 2019.

1
Drewski1138 1 point ago +1 / -0

At this point, anyone, and I mean ANYONE, who is repeating the lies (like it’s primarily the unvaxxed filling up hospitals) used to justify the immoral, unlawful, fascist vaccine mandates, even if they have a “well its your personal choice” mindset, is actively assisting enemies of freedom with their voice.

I respected Trump because he took a stand against the leftists narratives. Now he gives them credence. He is not unbeatable in 2024, just like Jeb wasn’t unbeatable in 2016.

1
OldSchool2 1 point ago +1 / -0

Read Trump's recent comments on the vax. Agree with you, but he is ripping the mandates, says it's a personal choice is my read. I want him to go further as it's quite clear that something nefarious is going on with the vax, period full stop. The political prisoners, agree, they are being discriminated against it sounds like. I would also add that if some did what they stated they did, they should do some time, BUT with the pantifa crowd getting carte blanche to burn down building and courts with no punishment, there is an issue of equal justice that will need to be addressed. The elephant in the room is the false flag. There are videos showing them handing out bats - sticks out the window to these people on J6. There is more to the story and Trump is pushing for that clarification. This was a false flag.

1
justmadethisacc7725 1 point ago +1 / -0

We need to be careful. The opponent always runs as a unified platform. No dissension is allowed. Once the anointed one is made, they allow Bernie to make a fool of himself and some token gay guy, but no real challenger is allowed to win.

Republicans on the other hand, enjoy crushing each other so that no one likes them going into the general.

If only we thought about country before ego, we would coordinate as the opponent does and choose the person most likely to win and throw every resource behind that one person.

Said the same thing about the BLM people that attacked cops. Guess I would like to go back and look at footage to see if that was true.

29
hoppy-kangaroos 29 points ago +30 / -1

He literally said "the terrorist attack on the capitol". If he was talking about a small group who attacked cops, he would have made that clear. I don't buy it.

6
TrumpWon45 6 points ago +6 / -0

Exactly. If he had said "the terrorist attack against our capitol police officers" that would have at least been more understandable. "Terrorist attack on the capitol" implies that the whole thing was a terrorist attack.

18
Dazzledown 18 points ago +18 / -0

He wasn’t explaining himself. He was lying about the whole “I meant the one attacking the cops”. When have you ever heard him call BLM or antifa terrorists? He is a big fat pants on fire. He thinks we are stupid and will buy that nonsense. It’s not 2009 anymore Ted.

6
UndercoverSpez 6 points ago +6 / -0

For real. Tbh when I heard his "Terrorist" line my first thought was "fair enough if you also consider the BLM riots terrorism".

Of course all search engine results are just on his 1/6 comments.

Did he reference BLM as Terrorist? Idk, but I have a feeling I would have heard about it if he did

5
Recyclops 5 points ago +5 / -0

In July 2019, Cruz cosponsored Senate Resolution 279,

S.Res.279 - A resolution calling for the designation of Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization.

I still don't trust the guy though.

4
Bigly2021 4 points ago +4 / -0

His comment came across as a general attack on everyone who was present on Jan 6th, rioter or protestor. He really needs to apologize. Just an awful statement to make all things considered, Cruz fucked up.

2
Cyer6 2 points ago +2 / -0

But in that committee yesterday, he did not say the people who attacked cops were terrorists. He said it was a "Terrorist Attack on the Capital." He threw everyone there under the bus. He painted the entire MAGA movement as a terrorist organization. A guy this smart who choses his words carefully could not make a mistake like that. It was deliberate.

1
Patriots_dont_kneel 1 point ago +1 / -0

Jews "own" both parties. They’re beyond parties.

Indeed, they do. I don't see how anyone could claim otherwise. So what's the part you "don't believe" then?

1
justmadethisacc7725 1 point ago +1 / -0

There is no legitimate reason for them to end the "white race" which isn’t even a singular thing in the USA. That’s what a lot of these conspiracies boil down to. People cry about Jews pushing race mixing or this or that. What do the Jews gain from deleting white people or darkening their skin?

2
Patriots_dont_kneel 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, I agree that that's illogical, I don't believe that either. But there are much more reasonable theories that hold water. For example that they have hijacked our military and government to fight their wars, and that they have been the driving force behind globalism because thats the system their people thrive in.

If we don't hold GOP like Cruz to account and give him a pass we will just have more GOP cave, like we always do. They keep doing this shit because we keep giving them a pass.

txladyvoter 5 points ago +5 / -0

And Jason Whitlock smoked Cruz!

Beating a cop doesn't equal terrorism. Don't condone it but Ted is full of shit no matter how he tries to spin his words.

11
RedPillMAGALegend 11 points ago +11 / -0

TEXAS TED?

9
GitmObamaJunior123 9 points ago +10 / -1

Cuckin' Ted

3
SubaruKayak 3 points ago +3 / -0

All hat and no cattle. He talks a whole lot but like we saw with the big tech hearings, there's no follow through. It's all air. Smarmy hot air.

1
RedPillMAGALegend 1 point ago +1 / -0

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

11
BERETTA_9 11 points ago +11 / -0

He's so phony. Anytime he speaks it's like he's acting. Not a genuine person.

3
krzyzowiec 3 points ago +3 / -0

After watching that clip, I think he was literally doing his usual acting routine, and choosing his words for maximum dramatic effect. A simple exaggeration. Doesn't make a difference to me though, since his stupidity helps the left frame us as terrorists.

Prostrate yourself, you snake bitch.

That was refreshing.

9
MobileDev4Trump 9 points ago +9 / -0

Ted thinks he can be President if he goes along with the Democrats and bans Trump for running because of the fake Insurrection (trespass/riot). He doesn't realize that Democrats just want him to run because he could never win.

8
OldZilla 8 points ago +8 / -0

Lying Ted Shit the bed Took one to the head Now his campaign is dead.

Never worry Never fear We wont forget what you said Come election year.

7
Dman82 7 points ago +7 / -0

That mother fucker knew exactly what he was saying fuck him with Lindsey Grahams dick and Mitch McConnell pushing every time I start to like a Republican they go and show their true self. I don't know what to think anymore I fucking hate the democrats fucking hate them but the republicans most of them are just as bad well actually worse at least democrats don't hide the fact They are cock sucking faggots and hate us. These fuckers want to fuck us and try to convince us we like it and the did it to help us. I don't know I just don't anymore and the way things look I never did.

1
ThaDtothaOtothaN 1 point ago +1 / -0

all rook same

7
Bravo4699 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yeah he tried to say it was meant towards the cops....but his original statement was against the capitol... Notice in the interview he tries to get Tucker to agree with the whole terrorism towards police? This is a classic way to get people on your side who disagree with you. You find something the can say yes to and then try to claim thats what I was talking about. sorry not buying it

7
TheNoseGoes 7 points ago +7 / -0

Good. He is a top swamp rat, right after McConnell and Lindsey Graham.

4
txladyvoter 4 points ago +4 / -0

And his senate bro Cornyn. They both need to go go go!

6
TrumpIsMyyPresident 6 points ago +6 / -0

Good! He finally pushes the fuck back on these corrupt politicians and calls them out.

1
TheWinningNeverStops 1 point ago +1 / -0

Naive

6
RaberContour 6 points ago +6 / -0

Lmao, Cruz looked so weak there.

What a pathetic worm

6
SeattleWonder 6 points ago +6 / -0

The only way Cruz can redeem himself is to make an on the record apology on the Senate floor and then start working 24/7 to get the political prisoners out of jail until their trial.

4
Vvetra 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'd actually take the second part over first any day of the week - actions speak louder than words.

2
PapaPepe 2 points ago +2 / -0

He's not redeeming himself. He showed who he really is, which was primary 2016 Cruz. He never changed.

6
MMazeo 6 points ago +6 / -0

Tucker was phenomenal tonight. Got up in Ted’s ass and wouldn’t get out. Whitlock wand Julie Kelly also awesome.

6
mugatucrazypills 6 points ago +6 / -0

Fatality.

6
Gadbous 6 points ago +6 / -0

He's not referred to as "lying Ted" for nothing....

6
GrumpyGrumpus 6 points ago +6 / -0

I need the full clip and context.

As it stands right now, there is no way I would vote for him going forward.

I also know I have not done my due diligence. I have not seen the full context of his original statement nor the full context of his appearance on Tucker.

“We are approaching a solemn anniversary this week. And it is an anniversary of a violent terrorist attack on the Capitol where we saw the men and women law enforcement demonstrate incredible courage, incredible bravery, risk their lives to defend the men and women who serve in this Capitol. My view is that anyone who commits an act of violence should be prosecuted,” Cruz said during Senate testimony from Capitol Police chief Wednesday. “And anyone who assaults a law enforcement officer should go to jail for a very long time. And I think that’s a principle that is true regardless of the politics of the violent criminal, whether they are right-wing, left-wing or they got no wings at all."

9
GrumpyGrumpus 9 points ago +9 / -0

Except the left is prosecuting trespassers who did not engage in any violence whatsoever and still calling them terrorists.

Then the whole issue of the capital police escalating the situation by BEATING and MURDERING innocent people outside and EXECUTING innocent people inside.

4
krzyzowiec 4 points ago +4 / -0

Those cops killed at least two people without any cause. I watched one black female cop beat a woman with her baton over and over again before she died. So not only does he call us terrorists, he tries to frame these thugs as heroes. Whatever you may think of police in general, the LEOs in DC were absolute scum.

2
stupiditymeter 2 points ago +2 / -0

Pfft. They got waved in by the law enforcement.

5
ekos640 5 points ago +5 / -0

i call anyone who attacks cops terrorists

literally his reasoning verbatim

still watch it yourself, but he killed his own career

2
Maga2020Maga2020 2 points ago +2 / -0

He tried to lie his way out of it in the full clip.

6
MAGA_____bitches 6 points ago +6 / -0

Ted Cruz killed his political career in less than 30 seconds. Good Riddance.

6
Amaroq64 6 points ago +6 / -0

Lmfao holy shit. I need to know what happened next!

5
Websitesdown 5 points ago +13 / -8

They're all a fucking joke Cruz tucker etc.

11
based_trekkie 11 points ago +11 / -0

Yes, but best to expose the weak fuckers now than when they are in trenches and decide to go Benedict Arnold on us.

7
txladyvoter 7 points ago +7 / -0

Cruz already did when he did nothing on the fllor of the Senate except echo Pence.

this

5
Songofsixpence 5 points ago +5 / -0

Tucker!!!

5
WeaponEx 5 points ago +6 / -1

Of course it was a terrorist commie attack. None of those faggots have a voice in this country. Round them up for chopper rides. Trump called the national guard on them for a reason.

5
TheMAGAlorian787 5 points ago +5 / -0

Backtracking POS. You said what you said. Own it and suffer the consequences of your deplorable actions.

5
Imnotsureyet2 5 points ago +5 / -0

He’s was particularly good at snaking. He fucked up big time here. We’re we suppose to think oh he’s one of us maybe it was a terror attack?

Chump and I hate him more than say AOC because he’s a fucking snake.

5
militantnationalist6 5 points ago +5 / -0

I saw this interview tonight. Cruz is a con man. He’s what’s known as controlled opposition.

4
LtPatterson 4 points ago +4 / -0

That smackdown was the icing on the cake of the anniversary today.

A set of balls. A quick cutoff. Statements of truth. A firm stance. Journalism needs this like a patient in surgery needs oxygen and blood in order to make a full recovery. Keep pumping the pure blood and supplying the fresh oxygen!
