IHeartMyDoggy 136 points ago +137 / -1

Exactly. So the FBI said they couldn’t comment when Ted Cruz asked, but the committee can? Nothing fishy about that 🙄

Oback_Barama 58 points ago +59 / -1

Yeah. This statement more or less confirms it. If he was just some faggot that slipped through the cracks the faggot committee wouldn’t have bothered.

Forbidden_outcast 35 points ago +35 / -0

They would have crushed him. Leaned on him not only to sing but to compose. Found some bullshit 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon campfire stories to tell the children. Then placed mirrors oppositional to mockingbird rumor loops, and repurchased all the half-worthless windmills in Texas to fan the fake and gay fog machines.

CheekyHawk 4 points ago +4 / -0

If he was some faggot who slipped between the cracks they would have called him an insurrectionist, and paraded him up the street and thrown the book at him. These people are stupid or they want to lose.

hzuiel 22 points ago +22 / -0

To my knowledge, lying to a political representative during a hearing is against the law, but the committee can say basically anything they want with no consequences. Interesting. Hmmm. Difficult to put this puzzle together.

elcomedian 9 points ago +9 / -0

Technically they aren’t lying. “We questioned u/hzuiel about the sky being green, he assured us the sky is green.”

JKillen 65 points ago +65 / -0

Every time they go out of their way to adamantly deny something… That’s my confirmation that it’s 100% true

Ray Epps did WAY worse shit than that, didn't he?

bluto36 67 points ago +67 / -0

they asked him that and Mr Epps said no he did not do worse than that. hope that clears this up

Long_time_lurker 15 points ago +15 / -0

It's weird how they didn't ask the FBI or anyone else that, just him.

So, do they want to explain why they're not prosecuting him then?

Sek7or 6 points ago +6 / -0

because hes a fed.

anotherthing 1 point ago +1 / -0

He might not be a Fed, but I'd have to say he's a honey pot. Why pay the dude if he does it for free? Furthermore, why bring him in when he's doing something you'd have to pay someone else to do what he's doing?

ebuy123 5 points ago +5 / -0

when it came to carter page, they checked with the FBI and CIA to verify carter page's claim about his relationship with the CIA.

Long_time_lurker 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, then they got caught lying by altering that response, so they've learned from this and instead didn't give any answer.

I feel obligated to point out that me being proud of my actions that day does NOT mean I condone everyones actions. Those attacking police should be prosecuted, but not tortured.

This is some 1984 shit. Like the Soviet Union show trials that you think you need to say this. Like what the fuck?

Nobody should be prosecuted at all. Except maybe some Capitol police that acted excessively violent and made false statements. If any protestors were acting as “agent provocateurs” then they should be prosecuted as well.

Literally nobody should be charged with trespassing. That’s the point of a fucking protest. “This land is sacred” no it’s fucking not. A random highway being blocked by BLM is 1000x more sacred than the Capitol building. Your a public official and citizens are angry: fucking deal with it.

Fuck off with this bullshit. You’re being brainwashed like the prisoners in the gulags to think you’re guilty. I feel sorry for you but it pisses me off none the less. If it makes you feel better “the conservative movement” is doing fuck all to support you guys. I wouldn’t blame you for being disoriented from all this. Conservatives are mostly spineless. Sad but true.

Say it with me: nobody should be arrested and charged. 100% true statement any conservative / normal person should absolutely agree with. Otherwise get fucked!

deleted 5 points ago +5 / -0
pallman 1 point ago +1 / -0

No there’s a thing called “prosecutorial discretion”. Citizens were rightfully angry and some people pushed past a half assed undermanned police barricade. Some of those police used disproportionate force provoking a strong reaction from the crowd. Several cops killed protestors including one who shot a protestor who presented no threat. This is far different than BLM protestors who attacked police with weapons, often for no other reason than to attack the police, often killing or maiming several police, and claimed a right to take over streets to set up checkpoints where they could assault random drivers.

Here citizens were angry and stormed a legislative session. This is something that happens in a functional democracy. I understand the Capitol Police had a stressful day seeing protestors angry and pushing back: tough shit. If i was a Capitol Cop personally I would be far more traumatized over the fact one my “brothers” shot an unarmed woman and they are all being intimidated to silence than anything I saw happening to the police that day.

Norwegianskier 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes, offcourse. EVERYONE who does illegal and immoral things should be prosecuted.

EVERYONE who is a threat to democracy should be prosecuted.

No. It only states that he is not an informant, or being paid directly by the FBI at this time, according to Epps himself.

It however does not mention his possible status as an outside contractor, acting as an agent or operative. Nor does it mention if he was employed by the FBI in the past.

p1smo 38 points ago +38 / -0

The FBI flat-out lies to our faces about basically everything. Why wouldn't they lie about this too?

jdog 29 points ago +29 / -0

They are lying, obviously. The wording is very suspicious. Why say "Law Enforcement"?

Oldjeansandbelt 19 points ago +19 / -0

Because the CIA is not law enforcement

Endprism 9 points ago +9 / -0

Ok not the FBI but what about any of the other 17 intel agencies

Oldjeansandbelt 3 points ago +3 / -0

Well they aren't law enforcement. That's all we're saying atm

Jkend0740 5 points ago +5 / -0

They don’t even have to lie. Undercover officers are allowed to lie under oath to avoid blowing their cover in an active investigation. So he can legally say he’s not involved with any law enforcement agency and there’s nothing anybody can do about it. The committee repeats the statement without looking into it.

FireannDireach 16 points ago +16 / -0

Yep. Just posted this. They're entirely focused on the FBI - and no other agencies or departments he could have been colluding with. The feds can use hundreds if not thousands of ways to create a labyrinth to hide who was running him, and paying him. Chesteraarthur2 6 points ago +6 / -0

Crappydatum 2 points ago +2 / -0

randomusename 4 points ago +4 / -0

Right, but it was a DOJ employee Ted Cruz questioned about Epps. They would have answered directly if Epps had nothing to do with law enforcement.

Crappydatum 5 points ago +5 / -0

Those movies you watch where they ask the undercover cop if he's a cop? Of COURSE they don't tell the truth!
