On the plus side, The Gay Mayor is back on the job after being off for months to recover from the birth of his child.

5
KillAllPedophiles 5 points ago +5 / -0

From Pete’s perspective it was more of a child acquisition than a birth, but certainly lots of bonding with the two homosexual men and the child was done I bet. Very beautiful, the whole miracle of child acquisition- perfectly normal and natural in our new woke society.

Pestilence causes low production. Low production causes:

Famine. Famine means it’s not easy to deal with each other peacefully because there isn’t enough for everyone. Which means:

War

7
Barbs 7 points ago +9 / -2

Uh, I like to be as melodramatic as the next guy, but a few empty shelves isn’t a “famine.” Famine is prolonged, widespread starvation.

Our supply chains are finely tuned, and it doesn’t take much to disrupt them. I know Biden’s fucking up the supply chain, but we’re a loooong way off from a famine, lol.

gloriouschairmanpao 4 points ago +4 / -0

If your house isn’t stocked to the rafters, you’re nuts

4
DonttrustChina 4 points ago +4 / -0

It's actually CONQUEST, war, famine, death, in that order.

Pestilence is a made up horseman with no biblical basis.

Forty_Five 56 points ago +56 / -0

Funny how we've had winter storms every single fucking year in history yet now it's suddenly reaking havoc on our supply chains.

4
ImportantPerson 4 points ago +7 / -3

It's both. Winter storms cause short term supply issues. You'll have stock issues for a day or two because the trucks which already have the product on them are delayed. This problem is being exacerbated right now because aside from the trucks that have product on them to deliver, you also have a bunch of empty trucks that have nothing to delivery. So, when individual trucks get delayed, it's highly noticeable on the shelves because there's so little.

I ordered an item from Ebay that sat overnight in a US Post Office during the St. George The Non-Compliant Riots. This town was besieged with rioting/looting, so I was glad to see my package make it out of there (because BLM was burning post offices and police stations etc.)

2
ViaToil 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hrmm, PNW was hit with that freeze/snow a couple weeks ago and it certainly held deliveries of just about everything up and now they are playing catch up however, because of the already BS problems, what usually is an easy and quick recovery, it as I said..been a couple of weeks and still bad. heh. I know my mom couldnt refill her meds for her cancer treatment "two weeks" it should of been here yesterday but, we had gone to the dr monday and he switched her meds.. hope those are in right away. oO

2
Booger6969 2 points ago +2 / -0

I haven't seen this much snow in at least 3-5 years, meaning that we are actually having something approaching a normal winter here. I will use this as an excuse to take out a few small trees in the wooded part of my property, now that I don't have to worry so much about ticks. And it's really not that bad, people are big babies now.

0
SuperSaiyanPOTUS 0 points ago +1 / -1

that was BEFORE global warming you trumph tard

-2
HuggableBear -2 points ago +1 / -3

I could have taken pictures like this the day before any snowstorm for the last 20 years in GA. It's not representative of the true supply chain problems and makes us look like we're too dumb to know the difference.

Completely empty shelves are not due to ongoing supply chain issues. Ongoing supply chain issues cause certain items to not be available, not entire categories of items, and certainly not entire aisles at stores. That is a result of panic buying and yes, transportation shutdowns. When the largest artery on the eastern seaboard is literally shut down for an entire day, you get empty shelves for a week afterwards.

1
Trump2024 1 point ago +2 / -1

Don't forget to contact my lawyer. It's only going to get worse for you.

https://patriots.win/p/141ErllZBg/follow-up-to-my-post-yesterday-w/

Interesting how you keep shilling for Biden. Yesterday your bare shelves excuse was because of a storm last week. Now it's panic buying for next week. Want me to take more pictures tomorrow? You're already into me for $10,000

Yup, nothing to do with mandates taking workers off the lines and truck drivers off the road.

They want food shortages. They want complete supply chain failure so the government can gain more control.

4
hoppy-kangaroos 4 points ago +4 / -0

Can't reset everything if people are still eating.

3
Halfstache 3 points ago +3 / -0

In WA, the state fired their snow plow drivers and then stopped county governments from sending their drivers to plow the mountain passes, causing a complete shutdown of shipments for half a week.

2
Hereforagoodtime 2 points ago +2 / -0

I saw that. I just left Washington after 6 years up there and it went from kinda liberal nutty to full blown San Francisco over that time. The whole state is run by the coastal crazies that like needles and shit in their city streets and rampant homelessness in every neighborhood.

15
FTR22 15 points ago +15 / -0

That is the lamest excuse I have heard and no where near true.

7
anotherthing 7 points ago +7 / -0

Well, they can't just say that a lot of our food is made in China these days and shipped in. People would freak out about that alone. Then they'd freak out harder once they realize those shelves are empty because the ships are lined up in California because of a bunch of stupid laws California's passed in the last two years.

15
Donkeyballs 15 points ago +15 / -0

Here in New England we’ve had very little snow this year. I’m calling bullshit.

10

That's right, white supremacists are at it again.

What do they grow in the Northeast? The only things I can think of is Maple Syrup that is unique to the region.

7
Donkeyballs 7 points ago +7 / -0

Corn, Apples, Cranberries, blueberries and Potatoes. Northeast has a ton of dairy farms. I think New York has the most in nation.

2
caKAG 2 points ago +2 / -0

So that is what to look for in the Grocery Store to see if there are shortages. Yet I see shortages on Chips and Bread, but I have seen Potato Prices increase and berries never go on sale anymore. Meanwhile at least half the country grows Corn.

4
Donkeyballs 4 points ago +4 / -0

Bakeries are getting crushed. Local donut shop owner was on radio today and all his ingredients are up over 50% some over 70%. They have been around since 1952. But it may all be over because his slim profit margin is gone.

We've always been at war with Eastasia had empty shelves in winter.

7

There's food shortages in the South, and there were before Christmas.

Guess that was caused by this storm huh.

Weird, I remember the huge blizzard and white out that sent snow drifts that covered entire houses in 1991 in Minnesota, and there were no supply chain problems. Although, being a kid, I thought it was awesome we got to go outside via a second story window.

It’s coming to the south too. Winter storms don’t stop anything in the south.

4
J_Doe 4 points ago +4 / -0

Cuz this is the first year we have had winter storms. Every other year, shelves were full due to the fact that we didn't have winter storms.
Yay, climate change is done!

I'm in the Northeast and this has not been a bad year for winter storms. Not any worse than any other time in recent history and I'm in an area that typically gets hammered.

2

The worst part of all the lies is the low IQ idiots realize what they have been told is not true but then swallow the next lie...and the next and the next ....and never get angry they are being used and lied to

2
Neutral_admin 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'd love to hear him explain why I've never seen empty shelves despite 41 years of winter storms.

Also...I'm from Canada. I've seen a winter storm or two in my lifetime.

2
GrannyPaine 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think a lot of food is being shipped over to China. There were media reports a year ago that conditions were bad for the food supply (lots of rain and flooding).

It would not surprise me in the least if all the companies in the West that have been bought up or influenced by China are shipping food to them first.

Meanwhile, in my local Costco this morning, there was a huge amount of "non-meat" products. Far more than I've ever seen there before. Take all the good stuff and send it to China. Force the West to eat more soy.

1
QueensOwn 1 point ago +1 / -0

We have winter storms every year. Never seen anything like this. Some days they have no chicken and others no chop meat. Total bullshit. Not like we are searching for caviar. These liberals are so full of shit.

1

1

everything can end in an instant: "we lied about the lib juice, and we stole the election. we present to you the severed heads of those responsible. now let's all get back to normal." it's that easy.

1
HockeyMom4Trump 1 point ago +1 / -0

Live in Minnesota. I have been through many winter storms. Not once do I recall there being empty shelves and a food shortage. hmmm...weird

1
blueeyephoto 1 point ago +1 / -0

yeah, these winter storms in Florida causing bare shelves are really bad too.

1

1
NotAnotherNPC 1 point ago +1 / -0

Winter storms... what happened to Global warming? Could use some of that right about now.

1
covok48 1 point ago +1 / -0

Weather is the go-to excuse for Communist engineered food shortages.

1
Apersonofinterest 1 point ago +1 / -0

That’s impossible because Global Warming told me so.

1
usdodsgssog 1 point ago +1 / -0

LOL winter storms... This year has been pretty tame. Maybe, just maybe, it's all the people "vaccinated" getting sick and everything is grinding to a halt because no one can work? Then add in all the people being fired... then add in all the people who have thrown in the towel (communism go brrrr) 🤔
