Because she’s bisexual? The left wants all of their special identity politics groups (lgbt, blacks, etc) to behave as a monolith and follow the stereotypes. Manchin is a straight white male so he can do what he wants.
Based doesn’t mean “they agree with me on everything.”
It means they’re genuine. We may not agree with her on much, but her head’s in the right place, even if she’s reached different conclusions on key issues.
Sounds good. I guess by your logic all leftist retards are based too simply because they are "genuine." Obviously some of them know it's bullshit, but apparently the ones that fell for the leftist propaganda hook-line-and-sinker and based as fuck because they are genuine in their beliefs.
Get the fuck out of here. Stripper boots is a commie cunt who only got elected due to voter fraud in arizona.
But it's beside the point here. What matters is that she defied Biden in this moment. Apparently this is so consequential that the president reacted by swearing an oath to fight to the death. This filibuster thing was huge and her and Manchin's action to defy and humiliate their party head (and the clique behind him) is may be a victory far bigger than we now know. It might be that what's happening is the real-time rise and fall of a coup attempt.
This is a pretty convincing explanation for it. I haven't paid much attention to the day-to-day mess of this crap in congress, but I did watch her speech and I did see Biden's reaction. It makes you wonder how much Sinema and Manchin coordinated on this.
They surely talked to each other, and we can only assume that they offered each other their moral support in this vote. In this kind of situation to be one of two has got to be a lot easier than to be the only one. Without that other person on her side, Sinema would face a much tougher task. It would just be her and the GOP voting No on terminating the filibuster, and she would be called a traitor and worse. What comes after being trailed into the bathroom by goons who film you going into and coming out of a toilet stall? What comes after the president swearing that he's going to fight to the death....
Maybe Manchin's role is to calm down the Biden clique and work out something to avoid a war.
Manchin can only be removed by DEM violence. Otherwise he would just switch party and still be elected.
Sinema probably only won her seat through the fraud committed by DEM operatives in AZ. She is going to have to win her seat legitimately next time when there is a new GOV and SOS.
That would actually be really bad for the Dems. Not only would they temporarily lose the majority while she’s out, but there’s no guarantees her replacement will be a Dem since the GOP controls the Governor’s office. Ditto for West Virginia and Manchin.
This. She has some foresight, a rare thing in today's Democrat party. With the beating the Dems are likely to take in 22 and 24, they're going to be banking on having a filibuster option.
Keep in mind that even with the Democrats cheating to put Biden in, they still lost house seats and they barely stole the Senate. Rigging hundreds of house elections is not as easy as it seems. Add to that, that by this November, the shit we're seeing with inflation and empty shelves etc. Is going to be much worse. The Democrats know they're going to get absolutely fucking wacked in '22.
Rigging local, state and congress seats is a tremendous task no doubt. They need lots of conspirators on their side working overtime. Stealing the presidency required them opening up the box to such ridiculous levels that now a majority of Americans believe it was stolen. People saw it and believe it. I don't think they'll ever pull off 2020 again. Shutting down 6 states vote counts at the same time? All the stars had to be lined up just right for them to pull that off.
Not only that, but that the Republicans would actually do anything with that power. They'd sit on their hands until the Dems get back in power then bitch about how the Dems abuse the power. Rinse and repeat.
We shouldn’t be discouraging people from voting. Nowadays voting is the bare minimum we have to do, but we still have to do it, or all our other efforts would be pointless and stupid.
I don’t think we should discourage voting, but we should greatly discourage—even shame—people here that are just voting.
The real solution is elevating our values and our people to power, and that requires local effort: precinct walks, getting involved on PACs/IECs and the Republican Party Central Committee in your county, running donation drives, getting on a campaign team, door knocking, sending letters to your local papers in the Editor column, writing to your elected representatives, running for office—you know the hard stuff that isn’t memeing. I know, I’ve done all these things.
The amount of people that have no idea how government works (the Republican Party Central Committee in your county votes for who to endorse and support, for example) is shameful.
We must do much, much more than voting. Voting is meaningless if the right people—and the right values—are not elevated to positions of power.
I'm starting to feel like Democrats who have back 180'ed on everything else are going to do a 180 in November when it comes to suspending the elections for the pandemic. Totally couldn't happen ever in 2020 because it was a presidential election..but this is just midterms so they can find some clause or make one up that they can delay the elections
Greatly discourage—even shame—people that are just voting, particularly folks here. Everyone here better be in a leadership role in their community before even thinking about posting a meme or “just voting.”

I don’t want to hear anything about some idiotic frog or voting or any other ra-ra echo chamberism from anyone that hasn’t done even one of the above. Get involved.
We must do much, much more than voting. Voting is meaningless if the right people—and the right values—are not elevated to positions of power.
But why are you eager to be proven right? What follows once it's been demonstrated that voting is no longer "an option"? Tyranny and probably an unstable government, with the potential for violence beyond anything that America has experienced at home since the Civil War. If I predicted that I would pray to be proven wrong.
That’s precisely why: we need our side to stop watching Twitch and sportsball and consuming cheap processed soy products. And if I can be help to get even a single person off his ass, what a purpose-driven life I’ll have led. We need people to get a kick in the ass and start getting involved locally. It needs to happen right now. We need to understand the gravity of what we are up against.
It’s not the desire to be proven right; it’s that I know I already am. Voting is meaningless. Active participation and taking back what we once abdicated—responsibility—is all that matters.
I am going to raise the alarm bells with my torch on horseback—whatever it takes—to get people to wake up and drop modern society’s false comforts. We need to be active in our communities, not passively voting and memeing. We need to be acting right this second to take over school boards, run for office, ballot harvest, ballot watch, run precinct walks, booth, get on a local campaign team, infiltrate the opponents’ institutions and change policy, write into local papers, attend city council meetings and committee meetings, and yell from the top of our lungs that we are done with this modern, complacent farce.
Got it. Dangerous times require extraordinary measures. You make the point well and I think I will cut back on sportsball (I follow MLB only, but what's the difference?) and use the time gained in more meaningful pursuits.
Thank you TBCA. Sometimes talking things through is what it takes to kindle inspiration to actually make changes.
Yes it's real. And it cannot possibly be entirely corrupt (or not real) because if it were nearly every political office would be filled by a party loyalist. An influx of ballots for the opposition of the vote-fixers is a headache for them. They have to handle it somehow while maintaining plausible deniability. If the influx is more than they're ready for maybe it overwhelms them and they have to take drastic action like arranging a gas leak in the building where ballots are being counted.
The point is that is it is clear that voting still matters. The aspiring tyrants would love for all voters who cherish their freedoms would become nihilistic about it and see no point in voting. That makes it all the easier.
The federal electoral system is a complex organization consisting thousands upon thousands of employees, temporary and otherwise, along with no doubt a ridiculous amount of admin going into the logistics and staffing and HR and oversight and outreach and yadda yadda yadda other departments of the FEC and its state equivalents.
The entire organization does not turn on a dime. How much of the entire electoral apparatus had to be subverted to the point of criminal conspiracy? How many precincts and districts in which states? It was not many. They got the necessary initial steps done and the rest of government fell in lockstep as the usual presidential transition processes take place with documents being signed and certified and people coming and going and ceremonies and shuffling of offices and titles and institutional priorities. There was a hiccup on 1/06, but the process continued and the ceremonies were had and the certified victor is the president.
They act like its some holy untouchable thing enshrined in the core of the republic.
McConnell turned it off a few weeks ago to slam through Bidens "infrastructure" bill over the objections of conservative senators who said it isn't infrastructure at all just a baby green new deal.
To be fair it's good to have another measure standing in the way of majority mob rule. Democrats don't actually care about minorities when it really matters.
Oh I agree but when they give speechs its so cringe when you know they turn it off 5 times a year to slam through giant trillion dollar omnibus budget bills.
She's really in a red state. Just like Collins from Maine, ME isn't a red state so even though she's an R she'll often go against Republicans. Basic stuff but often overlooked.
Ya I feel like she is trying to snag republican voters because she isn't going along with rank and file democrats, and the rhinos in republican party suck ass.
From some comments I've seen on this post, she's playing the long game in case the Dems lose bigly in '22. They'll be wishing for that filibuster back just to screw things up.
It makes sense. I'm not sure if it'd matter either way. Even if Republicans get some power back (if there isn't any election fraud), they won't do a damn thing with it.
There are 3 conservative judges on the supreme court as a direct result of the Dems changing the rules for judges back under reed. They are so short sighted it's amazing. However this was so they can change the voting laws to make sure they never lose power again so this time around maybe not short sighted but calculated
You don’t even know what “controlled opposition” is, if you think this is it, so you can stop repeating it over and over. We got it the first time.
It’s called she can remember back a few years, and how bad things went for the Democrats after Reid fucked with the filibuster. Same with Manchin. The rest are too stupid and only want immediate gratification.
Exactly. I mean we'll take this but she voted to impeach Trump...who loves this country like crazy and was working his tail off to fix it. She voted to impeach him so the country could get back on the let's make America a shithole again train.
Basically the question for them, is if they push this through and destroy the filibuster, would they be able to cheat enough in 2022 to gain power forever? Because if not- and based on VA results they are going to get slaughtered- they could very well get Trump in power with a blank check.
I do overall regardless of the current situation like the filibuster. If we can't even get 60% support for something, perhaps we should just let it alone and just follow the Constitution.
Ok. If not controlled opposition, what would you call someone who is put out there to look like some sort of maverick rebelling against her party to make her own party's more extreme nonsense seem more palatable?
"See? The democrats are reasonable! Look at Kyrsten, the DNC hates her!"
She's at least helpful. AZ Pedes should at least call her office and express gratitude because we need her to not cave -- couch a voicemail in whatever flowery feel-good language you want.
12:24. Razorfist makes a good point. Stop simping for people who will unabashedly destroy you. Why settle for this cunt when we can canvass and search for better from GOP nationalists?
AZ residents did....TWICE your golden girl is one of the cheaters to AZ's fucked election system.
As the 2018 midterm election stretched into a days-long event and Democrat Kyrsten Sinema grew her lead in the race for U.S. Senate in Arizona, the McSally campaign distanced itself from claims of voter fraud and other election-related conspiracy theories pushed by the state Republican Party and President Donald Trump.
But shortly after the race was called by The Associated Press in favor of Sinema on Monday, McSally’s campaign CEO Jim Bognet took to Twitter to highlight the “multiple instances of electoral irregularities in Arizona, including extreme incompetence and possible purposeful misconduct in Maricopa County.”
Sound familiar? Maybe read up on how people who vote to Impeach got into office?
And wanna know what's "Annoying" watching the allegedly "based" people over on Patriots.win simp for a complete cheater then bitch about the problem of election fraud. You realize all you're doing is making it possible for her to be elected legitimately next time via word of mouth, right? Et tu here2red?
AZ has been trying. The best ballot fraud initiative came from them after all. There is a reason for this - they're trying to repeat what happened with Florida in 2000.
But, while AZ is doing what it can, we should be informing people what happened to McSally, not cheerleading the cheater who stole an election, and giving her acolades. Sinema is a fraudster and a tool for the democrat machine.
Oh she still needs to go next time, this is just a good win. She's betting her party gets destroyed in the midterms and this will make her look good to independents and even some conservatives for her next run, that's all.
Well, if we had to have a bedfellow from the Dems then Sinema isn’t too bad of a pick. At least we didn’t end up with Pelosi, lol.
Pelosi’s the kind of woman that when you wake up in bed with her the next morning after a bender, and she’s sleeping on your arm, you gnaw your arm off to keep from waking her up while you make your escape.
There's a recurring theme of Sinema and Manchin taking the heat to cover for a handful of other Ds who wouldn't go along with it either. Such as we saw on raising the minimum wage.
Reminder: Sinema is not a moderate Democrat, she just has better political instincts.
She's just as much of a leftist as any California clown, but the difference is that Arizona is super red. Her 2018 "victory" like the 2020 results, were both fraudulent, and her spot is precarious. Like Manchin, if she votes too far left when the Senate majority is razor-thin, she will not secure re-election. Both Sinema and Manchin (and other members of Team Blue) clearly sense that 2022 could be a red wave, even if the filibuster is left alone.
I'm actually in favor of the filbuster, regardless of who is in power. If you can't even get 60% of the vote for something, maybe it shouldn't go through. Jamming things through with a 1 vote majority isn't a good recipe for a happy, peaceful country. It would create even more tension around elections as if we really need that these days.
The disease is that democrats think we live in a direct democracy (hence their party name) vs. republicans that believe in a representative republic (hence the party name).
Regardless of your feelings about this woman, she not only gave the raspberry to the filibuster, but the bill many of us are worried about, with this statement.
She gets to keep her seat in bleeding red AZ, and the Dems get to pretend to have moderates while also playing it up for their radicals. Do not fall for it.
Nice way of saying rigging the system to where Republicans will never win again. How much more are we going to put up with before this gets fixed? Two more fucking weeks? Two more years? Two more decades?
Out of all the BS, the "Voting Rights Act" is the most dangerous by far and must be stopped. Other things can be reversed, this one can't. BBB etc. don't get me wrong it all sucks, but is reversible. We've already seen that when states set up mail in voting with no security etc. they become blue shitholes forever...no matter how bad it gets, voters can't vote it out.
When Sinema got elected I thought she would be a far left whack job. She has turned out to be one of the most sane and reasonable dems on policy. It is a low bar, but she meets it nonetheless. Her and Manchin are better Senators than most RINOs I know that for damn sure.
She became a senator through blatant in-your-face election fraud while her RINO opponent sat back and let it happen, yet here she is doing her part to save our bullshit democracy for now. Weird.

What happened to those illegals?
Serious question, it seems like the far left commie rats go after Sinema much more viciously than Manchin, why do you think that is?
Because she’s bisexual? The left wants all of their special identity politics groups (lgbt, blacks, etc) to behave as a monolith and follow the stereotypes. Manchin is a straight white male so he can do what he wants.
Being right about one thing does not make one based.
Based doesn’t mean “they agree with me on everything.”
It means they’re genuine. We may not agree with her on much, but her head’s in the right place, even if she’s reached different conclusions on key issues.
Still give her props for applauding Trump and not wearing white like the rest of the yards during his state of the union address.
She sucks in a lot of aspects but in terms of being a Dem I don't hate her but disagree with her.
Once upon a time, Dems and Reps were a lot closer together and could compromise on things. She is a lot like an old-style Democrat.
That’s not what it means at all. You’re clueless as usual.
Based does not mean they're genuine. Based means that they do agree. Sinema isn't based.
But it's beside the point here. What matters is that she defied Biden in this moment. Apparently this is so consequential that the president reacted by swearing an oath to fight to the death. I would watch 🤷♂️
Is Sinema a lesbian??????
She is openly bi-sexual. Has been since before becoming a Senator.
Bi-bi Baby.
R U SURE??
Your're not thinking of the "thrupple" chick are you?
That was a southern Calif Dem Rep.
They delight themselves gloating about Straka having to retire.
This is a pretty convincing explanation for it. I haven't paid much attention to the day-to-day mess of this crap in congress, but I did watch her speech and I did see Biden's reaction. It makes you wonder how much Sinema and Manchin coordinated on this.

Maybe Manchin's role is to calm down the Biden clique and work out something to avoid a war.
Manchin goes too far left, it's certain he loses next election. So he won't budge too far no matter what.
Sinema is lower hanging fruit.
Manchin has more power than she does. He's 74, he's been in politics his whole adult life. He's had a decade to gather power in Congress.
Manchin can only be removed by DEM violence. Otherwise he would just switch party and still be elected.
Sinema probably only won her seat through the fraud committed by DEM operatives in AZ. She is going to have to win her seat legitimately next time when there is a new GOV and SOS.
Sexism, of course
nothing offends the communist more than dissent
we have a cleptocracy at the moment.
That would actually be really bad for the Dems. Not only would they temporarily lose the majority while she’s out, but there’s no guarantees her replacement will be a Dem since the GOP controls the Governor’s office. Ditto for West Virginia and Manchin.
I mean, that's a 1/50 chance it would be the Turtle. But also Hawley... not sure I like those odds.
Arizona is gone guy the Californian invasion secured that.
It's hanging in the balance not gone yet.
Arizona law requires a senator replacement with the same party. It is guaranteed it would be a Dem.
She's safe. A Republican governor appoints her replacement should she have a tragic accident or suddenly become suicidal. Same for Manchin.
Dems will be glad next year that she didn't help them get rid of the filibuster.
This. She has some foresight, a rare thing in today's Democrat party. With the beating the Dems are likely to take in 22 and 24, they're going to be banking on having a filibuster option.
We are still thinking voting is going to be an option, huh?
If 2022 doesn't go the way literally every conceivable metric has them going, then it's pitchfork time.
On that, you and I agree.
It's quite literally the last chance to vote our way to a solution.

Voting is more likely to work without this garbage legislation.
Not only that, but that the Republicans would actually do anything with that power. They'd sit on their hands until the Dems get back in power then bitch about how the Dems abuse the power. Rinse and repeat.
Get the fuck out of here with your blackpill garbage. Grow up.
The good thing is, instead of ad hominem, we’ll get to find out if I’m right or you’re right in a few months.

She won her seat via fraud in Maricopa. McSally never contested it because she knew Douchey would appoint her to the other seat.
Also true, but it doesn't change the fact that she's not being a colossal ass. She's acting like a senator from a purple state.
‘Cept AZ is a red state
Maybe a deal was made in the background, keep your job but vote against your party?
Who knows.
Stop pretending like Kyrsten is not controlled opposition.
If election laws were changed then voting laws wouldn't matter.
It can not be overstated how fucked this is. They get rid of the filibuster and there is no 22 or 24. They will never give power back to the "voters"

However this was so they can change the voting laws to make sure they never lose power again so this time around maybe not short sighted but calculated
With the corrupt election reform benefiting democrats greatly, Im not sure republicans would even pick up any senate seats.
I'd trade her for Romney.
Yeah why does she dress so... provacativly? Not complaining but it doesn't seem very appropriate for her age and position.
MOMMY MILKERS
[SPQR_TRUMP_SINEMA.JPG]
DON'T LOOK AT HER
SHE'S NOT WORTH YOUR TIME
LOOK INTO MY EYES
MILFY DEMONRAT TEETAYS ARE TEMPORARY
THE GLORY OF AMERICA IS ETERNAL
Who? Anyone who knows she's controlled opposition.
Love her
yes I'll wait for the "Don't simp on Krysten Sinema thread" later
She's at least helpful. AZ Pedes should at least call her office and express gratitude because we need her to not cave -- couch a voicemail in whatever flowery feel-good language you want.
You may as well love John McCain and Mitt Romney. To unashamedly simp for this cheater is to dig your own grave
13 minutes
12:24. Razorfist makes a good point. Stop simping for people who will unabashedly destroy you. Why settle for this cunt when we can canvass and search for better from GOP nationalists?
Then do it FIRST before BS'ng about simping for Krysten Sinema. Its getting annoying.
Sinema hasnt destroyed anyone, she's all that stands between the D's and total takeover of the election system FFS.
AZ residents did....TWICE your golden girl is one of the cheaters to AZ's fucked election system.
Then AZ should do something about it. They were handed all the evidence on a silver platter.
She's controlled opposition. "watch your ass" was staged harder than a Broadway musical.
She has principles and stands by them.
That's more than we can say for the GOP these days.
I dig the cross she wears. Not all Dems are evil, just the ones in government long enough.
Lol, they steal the election for her, she still screws them over.
Sinema may be one of my favorite outcome of being cheated.
"No honor among thieves", etc, etc.
And they will call this a minority because anyone who is not with them doesn't count.
The Federal Government has to go.
Strange Bedfellows In 🤡🌎.
Lol "coyote ugly". That's what happens when you go to sleep with Bo Derek and wake up with Bo Diddley.
She was pretty when she "met" JFK
This is nice, but we cannot even rely on our own party. Never underestimate the power of a rino like Romney
It's sad that Sinema and Manchin have more backbone than the entire GOP
I know nothing about her but if she lives by those words that's based AF
Supposedly her victory was rigged, but she's been quite helpful where a RINO might have been worse.
Don't simp for her
It's theater. All of it.
I can imagine Mitt pulling a McCain at the last minute
Kavanaugh is a fucking cuck though. Medical professionals are still fucked because of him.
There are about 4 or 5 dems who say they won't support changing the filibuster.
There's a recurring theme of Sinema and Manchin taking the heat to cover for a handful of other Ds who wouldn't go along with it either. Such as we saw on raising the minimum wage.
At least on economic issues, they need a bogeyman because BBB etc. will just destroy the country and the party in 2022.
Credit where credit is due....she seems more principled than half the RINO's we have to put up with
I'm actually in favor of the filbuster, regardless of who is in power. If you can't even get 60% of the vote for something, maybe it shouldn't go through. Jamming things through with a 1 vote majority isn't a good recipe for a happy, peaceful country. It would create even more tension around elections as if we really need that these days.
Agree.
From my point of view, the less Congress can "achieve", the better off we are.
I'm worried they can flip Romney
Romney is all about "elections are 100% fair you can't say a word or you are threatening democracy." Bullshit of course but helpful in this case.
A real woman with a D in front of her?
Wait, that came out wrong.
Wait, THAT came out wrong...
Don't put it past one of the slimeball RINO Senators to support this.
My vote would be on Murkowski.
I'm glad President Manchin and VP Sinema are at least somewhat based.
If even the democrats, who almost always have their 100% lock step hive mind, can't get 100% support on something you know that shit is whack as fuck.
Kyrsten Sinema is not suicidal.
and the ones wanting a 1 party system are the disease. Remove democrats
Oh don't worry, I'm sure a dozen rinos will gladly step up to the plate.
Not a democracy. Democratic Republic. But more accurately a Banana Republic.
“A republic, if you can keep it.”
~ Benjamin Franklin
A republic is a form of democracy.
You are basically saying we aren't a vegetable we are a broccoli.
I mean it's kind of right, but in the pedantic gotcha way. Not in an interesting way.
Representative Republic. But yes, Banana Republic.
We had a republic until 2020.
The disease is that democrats think we live in a direct democracy (hence their party name) vs. republicans that believe in a representative republic (hence the party name).
Regardless of your feelings about this woman, she not only gave the raspberry to the filibuster, but the bill many of us are worried about, with this statement.
Oh my.... words coming from a Dem that don't inspire me to projectile vomit. Refreshing.
Theater
She gets to keep her seat in bleeding red AZ, and the Dems get to pretend to have moderates while also playing it up for their radicals. Do not fall for it.
Imagine her phone and email line today and the next couple days
Nice way of saying rigging the system to where Republicans will never win again. How much more are we going to put up with before this gets fixed? Two more fucking weeks? Two more years? Two more decades?
COME ON, MAN.
Remember Paul Ryan? Fuck that guy.
Mitt Romney enters the chat
Kyrsten didn't kill herself.
She became a senator through blatant in-your-face election fraud while her RINO opponent sat back and let it happen, yet here she is doing her part to save our bullshit democracy for now. Weird.
More power for her and Manchin. They have Chucky and Nancy by the balls.
Bold strategy, we'll see how it works out for them, Cotton.
in clown world the best Republicans are Democrats.
The democrats are fucked
Hah! Redditors on suicide watch
Today was a good day
Never forget they used her election as a trial run for their bullshit harvesting (ballot stuffing).
Maybe she has had a change of heart - I dunno. I never thought I'd see her of all people taking these stands.
Would love to fuck that
They wouldnt have passed it in the house only for it to fail in the senate. They have the votes
I kinda wanna bang her
You want to think that when members of one party break away for having perceived "Principles" and they get heroic labels and tons of attention.
Then you hear that they caved on their decision a week later after a ton of PORK PROJECTS gets sent to their district or state.
Once a slimy politician, ALWAYS a slimy politician.
They never were serious about this. Instead, they'll just have all political dissidents banned from the floor to do the same thing.
I want to buy her a new pair of stripper boots.
