End the fed.

Delete IRS

Cut spending to everything but the military and defense. (So no more alphabet agencies. ALL of them. Except ICE)

Taxes are only on non food items. At a rate of no more than 6%. 2 state, 2 local, and 2 federal.

We go back to gold standard, with silver minting.

Oh, and every politician that is worth more than their salaries has to give that money back times 10, to the people of America in the form of gold, silver, ammunition, or guns. Land works too.

Any questions?

46
CazicThule 46 points ago +49 / -3

Cut military spending too. Maybe with less money they will be forced to focus on war fighting than being a woke organization.

34
AlphaOverBetaReturns 34 points ago +34 / -0

Anyone advocating for more spending on the military has clearly never been directly involved. The military wastes an ungodly amount of money. I'd rather we reduce the size and increase the quality of warfighters and equipment. If we need to scale up again we'll have the right personnel to do it quickly. Most of the military is composed of enlisted on their first 4 year contract anyway. As it stands now the Marine Corps is going into battle with 550 cord and bailing wire to keep their hand-me-down junk running.

9
MasklessMarvel 9 points ago +10 / -1

here is what gets me

for example:

the military pays $35M for an airplane

the airplane has serious defects (like killing pilots)

so the military pays the manufacturer more to fix it

of course they are selling us intentionally defective products to get that extra dough

can you imagine if they sold cars under that kind of system?

3
Dictator_Bob 3 points ago +3 / -0

I am not for cutting military spending as much as I am for massive streamlining and a Come to Jesus moment for administrators on finances or programs. And the path to this is - cutting military spending. We need to get that budget down to half and our capabilities tripled.

And if our leadership cannot do this we need leadership that can.

DroolingElmo 0 points ago +2 / -2

Human will never fight any major battles ever again. Look at TODAY the cyber attacks on the Ukrainian government.

2+2= easier to control people electronically.

If they die in war there may be repercussions but we can control the population so much easier with injections and i make money on pfizer stock to boot - Nancy Pelosi

2
teenburgercombo 2 points ago +2 / -0

All laws and borders are backed by guns. Without the threat of war, there can be no peace.

8
Auroraalpha 8 points ago +8 / -0

Military can get cut, now that Afghanistan isn't a thing anymore. Also, cut the pensions on a lot of the useless deadbeats, especially if they were ranked up COL or higher, and are still working in Washington Law/Lobby firms or Think Tanks

4
MasklessMarvel 4 points ago +5 / -1

this is pretty common with government jobs;

guy joins the military and stays long enough to get his pension

he retires and gets a civilian job with the government (because vets get preference)

he stays there long enough to get a gubmint pension

he retires and then gets hired on as a contractor doing the same job

now he has two pensions plus he is getting paid as a contractor

i know a couple of guys who have done this

-1
DroolingElmo -1 points ago +2 / -3

Social security, pensions and retirement ought to be phased out for everyone based on income and assets.

4

0
DroolingElmo 0 points ago +1 / -1

My old boss was made $140 million dollars when he sold his share of the company and retired back in the early 90s and already had millions in the bank. But he would still get an $1100 a month social security check, say what fucking morons, sign it and send me to the bank to deposit it.

0
I_trigger_faggots 0 points ago +1 / -1

While I was busting my ass and shopping at the thrift store, others were relaxing and spending without a care in the world. If you're going to penalize me for having income and assets, they also need to be penalized for having memories that I never will.

2
DontApologize 2 points ago +2 / -0

Military spending is small compared to entitlements and soon interest on our deficit. So sure the military wastes an ass ton of money.

But the real problem is that our Federal Government has already robbed our citizens of their money by plundering social security and other earmarked funds for retirement.

You might as well throw some haymakers at this point. Instead of giving all our money to Pfizer for disease that is not very dangerous we should start working on Fusion power and fund some Nuclear power plant construction. Much better use of our money then this give Karen 15 injections plan..

A working fusion generator would generate so much wealth that we could absorb the massive entitlement fiasco and pay down some of our national debt. It's a long shot - but I don't see any other way out that implosion and hyperinflation if we continue down this current path.

2
Massive_Reaction 2 points ago +2 / -0

Social Security hasn’t been plundered it was always plunder. Social Security was set up from the very beginning as a massive scam on the American people. If they wanted all Americans to have a pension they should have created a mandatory 401(k) program.

In fact the original program was advertised as something similar to a mandatory 401(k). But in reality it never wise, it was always a giant cash grab.

1
DontApologize 1 point ago +1 / -0

That seems fair. But ending the payouts on it is a political disaster - and yet we don't have the money to fund it far in the future. We could gut defense - and we will still run out of money quite quickly.

Either way the old leftist theory about just cutting defense and funding social programs with it. It doesn't work. There is not enough money - and as you pointed out there never was.

2
DannyCanusa 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yea, Russia has a similar military (some say a bit better, some say a bit worse- either way they're similar) at 1/16th of the spending. They're much more efficient.

4
DroolingElmo 4 points ago +4 / -0

As ex mil they are not more efficient they care less. When the Biden buffoons did the airstrike on the afghan children they shrugged and moved on. We used to try to avoid civilian targets, now we don't care. We are becoming much more like the Russians.

This. They have no intention of stopping the inflation.

The rich aren't being affected by the inflation because they have numerous investments.

Its the middle class that is being destroyed by the inflation....the families struggling paycheck to paycheck who are now paying 20%-100% more for everything.

And that's the goal -- destroy the middle class.

Free money is like free cocaine. It may feel great at first, but will eventually end up killing you or crashing you into nothingness.

1
Beaver_Den 1 point ago +3 / -2

Exactly. And the inflation we are experiencing today is a result of the money printing that took place when Trump was president. What we are seeing today is largely Trump's doing.

Of course, Biden hasn't stopped the money printing, so inflation will stay high until the government stops so much deficit spending.

3
DontApologize 3 points ago +3 / -0

All true. I'd add that is not like Dems wanted to block Trumps ridiculous printing of money. They encouraged it. Don't let them off the hook either.

Dems just took advantage of Trumps germ phobia and turned that into a global takeover. You have to give them points for ingenuity.

They hated Trump, because Trump touched on a dirty little secret. Those tens and millions of government regulations imposed on people have nothing to do with protecting the public, and everything to do with allowing political donors to lock in monopolies, drive up prices, and lock out competition.

All these CEO's riding high on their stock options pumped up with printed up money had to deal with something that they never had to deal with before. Real competition. I'm sure it made them seething mad, I'm sure it made them furious. Fuck them all to hell.

TrumpTrain_MAGA2020 10 points ago +11 / -1

The only way to lower inflation is to stop printing money (stop Quantitative Easing) and let interest rates rise in the marketplace to the levels needed to combat 7% inflation (or 15%, if they actually told the truth).

Will that decimate the economy and cause millions to be hurt? Yep - but we've kicked this fiscal can down the road so far, that's coming regardless.

Buckle up, pedes. Gonna be a wild 24 months ahead.

Here is an even more common-sense solution: Give Trump his Presidency, give him an extra couple of years to make up for the lost years, and axe all federal and state employees that went along with this scam.

6
thisguy883 6 points ago +6 / -0

Crowder made a good point the other day:

Why is the government focused on taxing you when they can just print more money?

Its retarded.

3
bobobob 3 points ago +3 / -0

Inflation is a tax on everyone while regular taxes are targeted at "middle class" workers.

An overly inflated dollar might also cause the world to abandon the petrodollar in favor of a more stable currency. That would flood the market with dollars and make the dollar essentially worthless.

3
Big_Sam_Handwich 3 points ago +3 / -0

Exactly...inflation is like a tax on already existing money. It extracts value out of other dollars to put value into new dollars.

2
thisguy883 2 points ago +2 / -0

I've just been buying goldbacks. Figured I'll have something that is actually backed by gold when the dollar loses value cause i'll need something to trade with.

With full respect to Trump here, lowering inflation isn't going to happen as long as the Federal Reserve is around. Inflation might be less under Trump, but it's still going to happen as long as the US lets a private company print it's $$.

The suffering we are all enduring now is a direct result of the Justices of the United States Supreme Court neglecting their most sacred duty - honoring the words of our Founding Fathers

To induce the separate States to ratify the Constitution they gave their word that any dispute between States would be fairly and speedily resolved by the Supreme Court.

Remember how relieved we were when all those States challenged the election results from States where blatant election fraud took place ? How naive we were.

Those illustrious Justices peed their pants and hid under their beds rather than stand up for us and Our Beloved Constitution.

This is a classic example of Mass Formation Phsycosis- any group assembly is dumber than the dumbest individual in the group. And unfortunately, the SC is weighted by a lot of dim-whits. They haven't got a chance with member Soda-my-ear, she sinks them to hitherto unknown depths of imbecility.

Not to mention the vax mandates causing labor shortages.

Congratulations Biden. It's all on YOU and the rest of your coup that installed you.

And the fed

For all the problems with big tech they can't print currency only the Fed can

2
DZP1 2 points ago +2 / -0

Inflation is mainly coming from Fed policies of printing money from nothing. Who benefits from the printing? Banks and corporations. What is harmed by the printing inflation: citizens both directly by price increases, and indirectly because military spending of a devalued dollar requires more dollars to buy things, so the military budget has to go up.

The government and the Fed absolutely do not have things under control. They only take the easy way out, which damages future generations, kills the people on fixed income. It is complete incompetence, mismanagement, and corruption. (Just like Pelosi buying pharma companies stock and then demanding mass vaccination. Hang her.)

1
DestroyerofCobwebs 1 point ago +2 / -1

What we're dealing with isn't really inflation in the traditional sense, because it's not being reflected in interest rates, nor is it being reflected across the entire economy. It's stagflation.

Stagflation can have many causes, but in this case the main cause is pretty clear: The cost of manufacturing raw materials and intermediate goods has skyrocketed due to labor shortage, compounded by the same cause leading to a rise in the cost of bringing finished goods to market.

In other words, nearly all of this is being caused by the labor shortage.

How to fix the labor shortage in five minutes, if you're Joe Biden:

Issue an emergency order instructing the Social Security Administration and the IRS to temporarily waive maximum income tests on social security income, and ask states to do the same. That way, the millions of retired people who are sitting around with their thumbs up their asses, can go get a job and help get our economy back on track, without fucking themselves at tax time.

1
DontApologize 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well let's be honest here - it was Trump's policy to hand out checks to people that did nothing. That's a pretty big factor in the inflation..

I don't think Trump has learned his lesson from listening to the likes of Birx and Fauci. Believing that leftys are good guys is what got us into this mess.

Sorry to break this to everyone, trump ushered in this monetary policy. Democrats just took it to insane levels.

0
dr_gonzo 0 points ago +1 / -1

This isn't right at all. Trump deserves a big chunk of the blame for this inflation. He amassed more debt in one term than any other president did in two, including Obama. And it was by design. Trump repeatedly stated he could alleviate the national debt through economic growth alone, and there was no need to cut spending. That was literally mathematically impossible, and many of us knew it when he kept repeating it in 2016.

I absolutely support Trump for 2024, but we don't do ourselves any damn favors acting like he was perfect. His insistence on spending like a Democrat helped cause this. And yes, Biden is now even worse, but that doesn't absolve Trump's guilt.

He has to come to our side on the spending issue. Debt is now an existential threat.
