Make your own coffee. Costs pennies and if you do it right it’s way better.

I believe that's a Freedom Roast with Freedom Toast.

2
PonySoldier66 2 points ago +2 / -0

I cut out random black women from my sales ads and stick them on my syrup bottle.

is that weird?

1
newrandomperson 1 point ago +1 / -0

No. It's not. Everyone loved Aunt Jemima.

Eatinglue 5 points ago +5 / -0

You’re damn right!

I want one of those crazy contraptions Gale had on breaking bad

1
Themustardtiger 1 point ago +1 / -0

That would be sweet.

Big upgrade from k cups when you fee like a better cup of coffee in the AM.

2

I do it Greek style.

I like having some "texture"

I tried Stocking Mill…just wasn’t a fan of any of their blends to be honest. I quit Black Rifle…I miss Blackbeard’s Delight, that was damn good, but I’m not funding cucks. Found a based company here in North Dakota that makes a decent blend. Love Stocking Mill on principle though.

Peets French Roast.

1
PonySoldier66 1 point ago +1 / -0

that stocking mill literally smelled like shit. it took me months to run through 10 lbs.

Family thanked me to this day for getting rid of it.

very odd.

1
AnotherDeadVoter 1 point ago +1 / -0

Damn I want to come over for coffee at your place.

4
TwitterIsTrash 4 points ago +4 / -0

I just bought some coffee and those little mini creamer packets to bring to work. I can use the keurig to brew some when I’m there. So much cheaper and more convenient

3
Eatinglue 3 points ago +3 / -0

I’m not gonna make fun of you for using creamer because you’re here and a patriot and I love you.

6
TwitterIsTrash 6 points ago +6 / -0

I cannot drink black coffee. It’s like drinking tar. I don’t understand people who do it, but I’m not here to judge

6
Eatinglue 6 points ago +6 / -0

That’s fair…this is still America and we can have different preferences 🇺🇸

4
AnotherDeadVoter 4 points ago +4 / -0

Going to quote my dad when he explained beer to me. "It's an acquired taste."

I started by drinking my coffee with lots of cream and sugar. Started cutting back the sugar first, then less milk. Eventually got to drinking it black. Now I mostly enjoy it black, and occasionally do a dessert coffee with brown sugar and milk.

3
Rope_Tree_Journalist 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yup. The palette becomes more refined with age. I'm like you.

I used to drink that shit so sweet it could have been dessert. Now I find sweet coffee kind of gross. Really just like the taste of coffee by itself. I'm going to try brown sugar, never had it like that.

Have you tried stockingmill or similar?

2
AnotherDeadVoter 2 points ago +2 / -0

I haven't had Stocking Mill. My work recently bought an $800 machine that grinds beans and steams milk so lately we've been using that. It makes espressos, americano, and cappuccino.

First time I had brown sugar was in a small diner. They brought out some heavy cream with it and I gotta say the 2 combined was heaven.

1
TwitterIsTrash 1 point ago +1 / -0

I might be able to do that. I’ve been getting off of soda a similar way. I’m drinking carbonated flavored water with either stevia or no sweetener at all and I’m already used to it.

2
deleted 2 points ago +2 / -0
1
TwitterIsTrash 1 point ago +1 / -0

That’s probably true. Instant coffee is what I’m used to, and it’s awful without adding a bunch of stuff to it. I’d love to try fresh-brewed coffee right from the source

1
zzyzyx 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's an acquired taste.

4
Pita1234 4 points ago +4 / -0

I used to think I liked coffee, but it turns out that I like cream with a lot of caffeine in it.

3
Brookes 3 points ago +3 / -0

Hey watch it, some of us like a little coffee with our cream and sugar lol! I know I'll go hang my old lady pede head in shame.

3
Eatinglue 3 points ago +3 / -0

Hey this is still America, you have the right to drink your coffee the way you wish.

1
Brookes 1 point ago +1 / -0

thanks Pede!

2
AussieTrumpFan 2 points ago +2 / -0

I will. The only things you should add to coffee is:

  • Honey
  • Milk
  • Sugar
  • Ice cream (seriously, an AFFOGGATO?!??!)
  • Rum
  • Whiskey
  • More Coffee

Come to Aussieland and see what real coffee culture is like (just ignore the snivelling lefty mask faggots) and you'll never go back to the chemical mystery that is creamer again.

2
Eatinglue 2 points ago +2 / -0

Lol, I like you. Although when I say creamer I mean actual cream. The white powder is bullshit.

Ok, I’ll allow whisky in coffee, ya cunt 😉

2
AussieTrumpFan 2 points ago +2 / -0

I remember my introduction to the powder bullshit creamer on a deployment. That bad experience is seared into my brain forever and is another thing I hate Nestle for - that horrid triple mix instant blend of coffee sugar and creamer that doesn't end up tasting like any of them.

That was the same deployment where I learned that Americans and Aussies mean different things when ordering Iced Coffee.

That said, an introduction to American-style Iced Coffee (WTF?!) by Caribou Coffee wasn't the worst possible way to encounter the concept. I learned after that that the closest equivalent to the Aussie Iced Coffee was an "Iced Latte". But, even then it wasn't quite the same. And it was possible to find an American-based coffee shop that actually made a decent coffee. Provided you used the right incantations when ordering, that is.

I'm just glad that Aussie coffee culture has spread beyond the inner cities and is now everywhere here. It means lyrics like Paul Kelly's don't matter as much any more:

"I stopped, I don't remember the name of the town

But the colour of the coffee spelled a warning

It was the colour of the river, but not nearly as brown"

2
Eatinglue 2 points ago +2 / -0

I can’t do any iced coffee. Iced tea is fucking delicious tho.

2
AussieTrumpFan 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's a very unique American thing. I just can not wrap my head around iced tea. I get the concept, but I guess it's the former British colony holding on that tea is served hot.

1
Gyrfalcon 1 point ago +1 / -0

Last time I used creamer I broke out in hives! Chemical mystery for sure.

2
mty_green_go 2 points ago +2 / -0

if you mean like 100 pennies..yes it costs pennies to make your own espresso blends at home

23
NoCoupForYou 23 points ago +23 / -0

Starbucks is for people who like coffee-ish drinks, not actual coffee.

Also, for the prices they charge for their burnt tasting coffee, they should add the cream and sweetener for you.

8
yurimodin 8 points ago +8 / -0

I call it Charbucks because its burn't worse than the skin on Dr Jill's turkey neck.

3
Sparks1017 3 points ago +3 / -0

Exactly, I had their coffee once, it's burnt, overpriced swill

2
peltast 2 points ago +2 / -0

Actually, liked the burnt taste. But, fuck them for being commies, and they'll see no more of my money.

2
akira2501 2 points ago +2 / -0

Even their Espresso. 1/20 will be a good shot, the rest tastes like burnt dirt.

3
TwitterIsTrash 3 points ago +3 / -0

Only their frappuccinos are good. Their actual coffee is trash.

1
Fundadores 1 point ago +1 / -0

I have no idea what the politics of Coffee Bean are, but their blended iced mocha is way better.

1
TwitterIsTrash 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’ll try it whenever I see one of their stores

14
Steven_IDGAF_Miller 14 points ago +14 / -0

It's almost like firing the few people that are willing to come in to do the job, in order to appease a group of people that largely refuse to work, didn't work out so well for Starbucks.

Huh....I couldn't have seen that coming.

8
Conspiracytheorist 8 points ago +8 / -0

I have a friend I saw randomly last week that works at Starbucks. He said this was a big issue at their store and everyone was going to quit, but they incentivized them to stay by offering $15/hr to the employees.

2
AussieTrumpFan 2 points ago +2 / -0

But they won't incentivize them to attract customers by actually teaching them to make a decent cup of coffee?

7

7

6
daty_dato 6 points ago +6 / -0

Heard in the office... "um, um, we can't do that anymore. Like, um, we would be libel if more people get injured or die from the jab."

5

This is not a surprise. The plandemic is unraveling and the Dems are scrambling.

5
MythArcana 5 points ago +5 / -0

Never been there, but it's been explained to me that all their coffee tastes burnt because, well, it is. They purchase extremely low-quality beans in bulk that are bitter to the taste. So, they roast the fuck out of the poor rascals to try to dummy up the fact their product is so poor, then mark up each drink to $6 minimum to unsuspecting libtards.

They keep building more and more of these shithouses in my town to where they are every 200 feet now. Do millennials not know how to make coffee at home? See, we have these stores where you can purchase your own coffee and brew within 10 minutes at home! Gotta go? Get a Thermos and take it to work and be early for once! Share with your friends to show them how smart you are. They won't drink it, though, because they'll still be late for work waiting in line to get their $8 burned-bean swill.

I thought owl piss was the beer on tap at Hooters

4
Jacurutu99 4 points ago +4 / -0

Many places are choosing to back down now.....make it clear to them that it is too late.

4
Spawnlingman 4 points ago +4 / -0

Are we learning yet that they are playing dwindle? They enact a mandate or rule to get 2-3% here or there to stress and go vaccinate. Then they simply reverse the rule.

3
Elliekemper 3 points ago +3 / -0

Let's see how many libs will quit going there. None? Too much of personal sucrifice? I bet.

3
rubmewithbeer 3 points ago +3 / -0

Story time, back in the day I need two jobs. I picked to work at starbucks because it was open 430am to 8pm so I knew I could get the extra hours I needed while working at my other job. Back in 2016, luckily my manager was based and we would talk about Trump and how we were going to vote for him and a couple other people were based too, the store was on the edge of the city almost in a rural community. She actually had a farm too, we butchered chickens one time at her farm. Anyway, all the people who work there that I knew would have taken the shot with the blue and purple hair were awful workers, very self entitled, always complained, doing drugs in the bathroom, there wasn't much at her store but I got moved to a different store that had all of those people(and I quit promptly). Now starbucks is paying the price because all the based people who were the hardest workers have left now especially after the "racial" meeting which was a joke.

PonySoldier66 3 points ago +3 / -0

"bitter owl piss" I love Catturd.

so many things I never thought I''d say. Is it because I just turned 55 ?

3

2
becky21k1 2 points ago +3 / -1

The only times I've had Starbucks was when it was all that was available, like at a highway rest stop and nothing else is open. I never thought it was terrible, but it was no better than what you'd get at the gas station.

Tim Hortons is the one you have to watch, the taste changes when it sits.

I always prefer local. Starbucks had a great frozen drink for a few months now I'd go to the local spot across the street.

I was so glad when another Starbucks closed recently, there are a few good local places blocks away from that one

2
NvJohansson 2 points ago +2 / -0

I got a laugh at the dumb fucks who ran to get vaccinated to keep a job like that

2
patrioticwinning3 2 points ago +2 / -0

LMAO! If you've ever had Starcuck's you know that is an accurate discription!

2
coolhandcuke 2 points ago +2 / -0

One of the local ones had to close the walkins and just do the drive in for about two and a half weeks probably because they were short staffed. I'm not surprised.

When I went in there are tons of unopened boxes sitting around so they're probably desperate for anyone to hire.

2
mikethemarine 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's not why they did it, it's cause people aren't buying the coffee cause the employees weren't selling it to the Vaccine free people cause they had to get the JAB so everybody they served had to have it, and that effected their bottom line.

Don't ever forget To never give them a dime again, DON'T LET THEM FILL UP THEIR WAR CHEST AGAIN

2
AnotherDeadVoter 2 points ago +2 / -0

I appreciate that they didn't pull a move like Carhart. This is a win.

I dunno wtf Carhart is but fuck them!!!

Best known for really good outdoor work clothing. Thick jackets, overalls, etc.

After SCOTUS blocked enforcing employers to force a vax, this company came out and said we'll enforce it. So basically alienated the people who buy their products, cause let's be honest. How many liberals do you know that are going to do the ranch life? Not too fucking many.

I can't help but believe there is a hidden agenda on this, the starbucks that I pass by the lines are around the block so I doubt it really hit them financially. Has to be some other reason

1
mass55th 1 point ago +2 / -1

The only time I ever bought Starbucks was when I was in Paris for two days in 2006, because their coffee was like tar, and tasted even worse than Starbucks.

You should still boycot them for doing it in the first place.
